I’m having so much fun with Thunderbirds Are Go! It’s one of those weird shows that’s way better than it has any right to be. As a fan of TOS I’m hooked!
Part one of however many of these comics I’ll end up making, feat. Kayo handling her bunch of brothers and slaughtering her evil uncle every time she sees him! 🥰

Unexpected Delivery
There had been many changes when their father returned home. Some were new, some were the old status quo reasserting itself.
As Jeff had taken over the daily running of Tracy Industries and the paperwork associated with International Rescue, Scott had managed to take back some of his old duties on the Island.
One of those was unpacking the supplies Virgil regularly brought back from the mainland.
First was the perishables: foods, some of Brains’ more exotic experimental materials, whatever-the-hell it was that Gordon was ordering in to assist in rehabilitating their surrounding sea-scape. Personal deliveries came second, portioning out the mail orders; of which a not-insignificant portion was personal food stocks – Grandma still couldn’t be dissuaded from cooking, even though everyone now had more time to contribute to kitchen duties. Third was domestic consumables: toilet paper, light bulbs, cleaning supplies, and personal grooming and hygiene products – including so much deodorant. And then maintenance supplies; raw materials for production of the custom parts necessary for the maintenance of the Thunderbirds, parts for maintenance for the Villa and auxiliary buildings.
It was a comfortable routine, and one that Scott enjoyed, especially dealing with the maintenance supplies. Checking the packing slip against their internal register of projected deliveries, using the pallet-bot to deposit the large crates and bins at the appropriate areas, before unpacking the individual crates, confirming the itemised stock within, and storing them in the appropriate locations, as he updated the warehousing inventory.
It was a simple – and satisfying – job.
Today there was an extra crate. A large roughly square crate, one and one half to two metres in every dimension and solidly built. Scott frowned at it. There was no sender’s ident, and the anonymous holographic label implanted in the rough-hewn, tightly-spaced wooden slats simply read ‘International Rescue’.
Nothing was unaccounted for on the projected deliveries. There was nothing left over from previous runs, nothing on back order.
Scott checked Virgil’s collection register. This package had been collected from their mail facility at Tracy Industries Headquarters, the security assessment on this crate was attached. Nothing untoward. No radiation, no explosive compounds, no biological matter …
Thunderbird Two’s pod sensors hadn’t detected a threat, either.
“What is it?”
Scott started, jumping as the Mechanic materialised beside him, looking between Scott and the crate curiously.
A slight hesitation – he still hadn’t fully overcome his distrust of the other man, nor had the Mechanic suddenly taken a liking to him – and he explained the situation.
“Only one way to find out. If all the scans are clear.”
Scott waved his tablet at the man, who, after a second, took it, and considered the record trail. He handed the tablet back, and summoned two of his ‘scorpion’ mechas to the crate.
“Better blow them up, than us, if your scans are wrong,” was the response to Scott’s raised eyebrow.
Scott agreed without hesitation. The crate was in a secure section of the hangars, there was no danger to any of their equipment – they had learnt that the hard way, soon after Jeff had … gone on sabbatical. The two men backed off a respectful distance, and watched as the two machines surged forward, powerful pinchers forcing themselves under the lid and prising it up, before skittering around the crate to settle either side of it, like guardians.
The back of the lid was hinged, and a holographic sign projected against the rough and splintery wood. ‘A gift. From a friend.’
The two men approached cautiously. And stared in shock at what lay on the straw at the bottom of the crate.
The Hood, bound hand and foot – hands behind his back – lay half curled with in the space. His naked body bruised and bloody, the slight rise and fall of his chest the only sign the man was alive.
Scott Tracy – Commander of International Rescue, First Responder, Qualified Paramedic, and Survivor of a POW Camp – swallowed his bile as he took in the sight of the bloody and weeping bandage around the man’s head that ineffectively protected what he knew would be the bloody and empty socket where the cybernetic eye had been.
Mutely Scott and the Mechanic stared at each other, both searching for answers the other didn’t have.
How were they ever going to explain this?
Notes:
Febuwhump Day 21 “Unresponsive”.
Whoops. I totally missed posting this one on the date. Other important dates I have missed include my mothers, and my niece's birthdays. Oh well, off to the dog house!
The standard disclaimers, I do not own Thunderbirds, either the Original Series, the Movies (both Supermarionation and Live Action), or the Thunderbirds Are Go Series. (Although I do own copies on DVD.)
I do not do this for money, but for my own (in)sanity and entertainment.

WIP Wednesday comes around again
I cannot believe it's another Wednesday! So here's another work in progress teaser for you all Undecided price to whoever correctly guesses what is going on here 😉
‘Don’t you dare scare us like that!’ Gordon bawled. Technically, it wasn’t his fault. It was an unavoidable scare, but he didn’t have the energy to explain that to the tiny's. Dad could have that job when he reappeared from… wherever it was he’d gone. That was still a foggy patch within his memory. ‘I won’t.’ He reassured. ‘We’d miss you.’ Alan sniffed, wiping at his nose with his sleeve. ‘I’d miss you too.’ He wrapped his arms around them as the two blondes cuddled close, one nestling into each side, and their small warmth and reassurance was enough to lull him back to sleep within the scratchy sheets.

In celebration of your blog being unblocked:
@whumpster-dumpster prompt list:
Five Word Prompts:
28: “See where bravery’s gotten you?”
Dealer’s choice
@janetm74 Thank you! I did a little thing, because I love the Hood being the literal devil, digging deep into the lies Scott's mind tells him.
***
The voice slithered and hissed around him, like a snake. In many ways, the Hood was the serpent. Scott had to suppress a disgusted shudder - it was a disservice to a perfectly innocent animal to be compared to that... man.
"Such dashing bravado! So much empty pride! And for what? So that nobody ever learns your secret?"
The Hood circled behind him, leering, then grabbed his shoulders so hard Scott winced. A drastic push to shrug the vicious claws off did little with his hands tied back. The voice was now pouring right into his ear:
"The biggest secret of all is you're a coward, Scott Tracy. You're so afraid to step out of your father's shadow. You're afraid to stray away from his legacy. You're afraid everyone will see you can't stand on your own two feet and leave you behind! Because you're NOTHING! You hold HIS fort, you carry HIS mantle, you give yourself up for HIS dreams, you raise HIS children. So tell me, Scott Tracy, who do you see, when you look in the mirror?"
Even without the gag Scott had little to object to that, as he hung the head down. His blood ran cold and his heart went numb. It was true, all of it.

Seeking An Absolution
After returning home, Jeff goes to visit his old friend in prison to try and offer him an unexpected absolution.
Words: 4,331 Snippet below, but the full work is on AO3 here!
------------------------
Even in the days before he’d become a resurrected ghost, Jeff Tracy had never made a habit of visiting GDF Maximum Security Facilities.
Usually his official trips took him to the organised offices of the top brass staff. There, in their comfortable spaces, wood crackled away in fireplaces, echoing around the embellished chamber, and dying embers lit up the room in a warm, homely glow. Timbered walls displayed framed medals that were regularly polished so that they shone and glinted in the firelight. Tea and coffee were customary for a meeting, much of the time being offered the moment a welcomed visitor stepped foot into the office space. He had to say, despite often dreading the tedious tasks which those meetings often proved themselves to be, Jeff found the office spaces far preferable than these dank and dreary corridors that he currently strolled along.
The grey of one concrete wall to his right matched the grey of a stone wall to his left. There was little sustained lighting. It was a purposeful design feature so that inmates were unable to become cognisant of their surroundings. High, impenetrable walls had been built around the outer perimeter. They were so tall that, no matter where you were in the complex, parts could be seen through almost any tiny window. Combine that with the naturally sullen mood that a Maximum Security Facility brought, and the whole place was just downright depressing. It wasn’t just the atmosphere that was cold, however. Located on an island a few miles off the Scottish coast meant that, even indoors and with his thick layers of clothing wrapped around him, Jeff could feel the chill of the winter.
No-one visited this prison, let alone this specific block of the complex. To gain access, he had had to fight Casey for weeks, and that had just been for a referral alone. At one point his request had ending up reaching the World President. Some might have deemed him mad for wanting to visit this particular block. In fact the President himself had called up Jeff to ask if his signing off on such a request was a wise decision. Jeff had insisted upon it. He had to visit. There was no alternative option.

Tête-à-Tête
Part Two
Part One is: here
Her uncle was true to his word. Which both did and did not surprise Kayo.
After all, the man had sworn vengeance on Jeff Tracy and International Rescue, and he pursued that vengeance with a single-minded determination. On the other hand, he broke all sorts of promises – both explicit and implied – in the course of that pursuit.
In any case, Kayo was once again bound, gagged, and blindfolded, before being bundled off out of her uncle’s hideout. Unfortunately, the goons were efficient, and Kayo had no inkling of where she had been taken.
After a final parting gift of a dose of a short-term knockout drug, she was deposited – unrestrained – neatly beside Thunderbird Shadow. Once she came around the goons were long gone and the winds had eroded all trace of their passage.
Kayo was shaky on her feet, so she did a quick assessment of her condition, and reluctantly put in a call for help.
It was now a race between the GDF and International Rescue to see who would get to her first.
Twenty minutes later and the GDF had won the race; her brothers being held up by the collapsed skyscraper that had held their attention for the past … it was now sixteen hours.
The GDF medics had cleared her of any permanent damage, only the lingering effects of the drugs her uncle and his minions had pumped into her. Once her body cleared those out, she would be fine.
Colonel Casey was in the process of debriefing her on her details of her ‘encounter’ when the roar of multiple Thunderbirds shook the GDF flyer. Five minutes after that all four earth-bound Tracys had boarded the flyer; and John’s hologram popped up from her wrist comm, even as Scott muscled his way into the room, his brothers following.
Colonel Casey’s decision to debrief Kayo in the on-board conference room of her Command Flyer was typically foresighted of the women.
Once the Tracys had reassured themselves that Kayo was, indeed, as physically okay as the GDF had reported, they retreated to the far side of the conference table – John transferring to Virgil’s wrist comm –, and listened intently as the debrief continued.
Kayo was going over the physical description of the interior of the Hood’s lair for the third time (Virgil had shunted John to Scott, and was using a 3D rendering art programme he could somehow access through his wrist comm to build a model based on her description), when the door opened, and an nondescript-looking NCO marched smartly to Colonel Casey’s side.
The man saluted, and passed over a holodisplay, and Kayo could only just make out the words ‘pathology report’, ‘substance analysis’ and ‘urgent’.
Casey dismissed the man, and speed-read her way through the files.
The storm of emotions on the older woman’s face had Kayo’s hackles rising, and the Tracys edging towards her.
Scott was the first to break, moving to stand and read over the Colonel’s shoulder.
Casey looked back at Kayo, “What did The Hood tell you about the drug he administered?”
Kayo frowned, remembering. “He said it had cost him a lot of time and money to source; that it was new, and guaranteed to work, with no side effects. Oh, and he has already used it! He implied that he had used it on politicians and businessmen to extract personal information he was blackmailing them on.”
Casey paused, considering. “Did he tell you this before or after he administered the drug?”
“After.”
“And what questions did he ask? If you can remember the exact words he used, it could be important.”
Kayo stared at her a moment, perplexed, before Scott nodded to prompt her. She shut her eyes, and replayed events in her mind. It was surprisingly easy to recall details.
She spoke slowly, reluctantly. “He asked, ‘And so, Kayo, my beloved niece, how are you these days?’, then ‘I told you, my dear, I just want to catch up with you. So, how are you?’.” She paused. “Next was ‘The Tracys are keeping you busy? Not too busy, I hope. It wouldn’t do for you to be overworked.’ And then, ‘And how is your dear father? It has been a very long time since I have had news of my beloved half-brother.’”
Kayo paused, considering, but a small voice insisted that the next questions were rhetorical, and therefore not questions. “The last thing he asked was, ‘Do you still love me?’” she concluded, quietly.
Colonel Casey’s face softened. “I’m sorry, Kayo, but I had to ask. Your bloodwork came back, and we identified the ‘truth serum’ he used on you. It is a new formula, and one that is very tightly controlled, as it is extremely effective. But the Hood lied, while there usual side effects of disorientation are not present, it has a very nasty side effect in that it makes the subject … suggestible. Anyone given this drug is very vulnerable to instructions or alternative information provided whilst they are under the influence; and the influence is very difficult to shake, even after the drug has worn off.”
Casey sighed, “It appears that the Hood is making an attempt to recruit you by trying to reinforce his relationship with you.” Her gaze softened, “Please, Kayo, be mindful of this, and be careful whenever you next encounter him.”
Kayo nodded. “I will, Colonel. My father has warned me about my uncle ever since I was a little girl. To side with him would be to betray my father.”
“And I am both glad and sorry to hear that, Kayo.” Casey looked at the holofile in her hand, again. “Was it only ‘family matters’ that you discussed?”
Kayo opened her mouth to speak, hesitated a second as the little voice whispered insistently in her head again.
“Yes, Colonel Casey. That was all we talked about.”
Notes:
This was never originally meant to be a two parter, but the Hood went off on a tangent, and he really isn’t the type of person who would act out of sentimentality. On screen, he always has a plan, though in the beginning IR can outwit him, later on, he becomes sneakier, with back-up plans and redundancies in place.

WIP Monday… I know that isn’t a thing but Hey Ho.
I was possessed by this scene while in the shower. It appears that’s where most of my most evil ideas are born and so it would probably be best for certain characters if I reduced my hygiene levels…
💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀💀
Belah Gaat leaned back in his chair and permitted himself a small smile. Which became a chuckle. Which became a full bodied laugh which brought tears to his eyes. A knock on the door forced him to recover himself.
“Enter”
“Good afternoon General, I am to enquire as to whether you have everything you need?”
He smiled magnanimously. “Everything I could need and more, thank you Lieutenant. Except… perhaps, a cup of earl grey?”
The junior officer blinked, clearly not expecting to play tea lady at this stage in her career, but she clearly thought better of raising an objection. Wise, really, given he could cut that career very short if the fancy took him.
“Certainly, I’ll see to that right away, Sir.”
She saluted and backed out of the room.
Belah grinned. Perhaps that was… cheeky. But what after all was the point of rising so quickly through the ranks if he didn’t take advantage of the little… perks?
His gaze fell back on the briefing document in front of him. Ah yes, that was the point. He scanned the crew list of the air squadrons that had been placed at his disposal for his next operation. Some serious talent there, if the profiles were to be believed. What really amused him though was the 27th AAF. He tapped each name lightly as he read down the list
Ali, F
Ganston, B
Liversey, D
McKellar, A
Osan, T
Stafford, P
Taylor, V
Tracy, S
The smile returned.
Really, if the universe didn’t want him to to be bad, why did it keep giving him so many Opportunities?

TAG Transcripts | Masterpost
So, I'm making a start on organising all of my previous content and I'm starting with Transcripts!
And the reason I'm starting with these is because when I came back and was able to look at messages etc (as opposed to the late night reading I made fanfics) there were a lot asking about these with quite a few questions - so firstly, Q & A;
Where can the transcripts be found? They can now be found on this masterpost, but also back on my 2016 post!
Are all the episodes available? Series 1 is complete, Series 2 is mostly complete, Series 3 is unstarted
Will I finish them? Yes, if there is this level of interest of course I will, but episodes can take a while to transcribe so it may not be a quick process!
Do I make a profit? No. This is something I started doing as a fan, for fans as someone who's previously found issues with subtitles not appearing or being incorrect.
Can I download a copy? Yes, from my mediafire links in word or PDF format
Why can't the documents be edited, copy & pasted? The documents are password protected, yes, because a lot of work goes into them and if they're going to be re-distributed I would appreciate the credit or an update of where they're being shared, so no they cannot be directly copied and pasted
Feel free to reblog and share though, Thunderfam, as these were made for you to enjoy!
Tumblr media
And before there are questions as to where the link can be found on this masterpost, let's put that here!
Above is the link for the TAG transcripts (I have TOS completed but will post this separately).
What can be found here at the moment:
Series 1
in Word & PDF format
25 files per folder
All episodes completed - Ring of Fire is in one combined set
Series 2
in Word & PDF format
Available episodes - 17; Earthbreaker (1) City Under the Sea (4) Colony (5) Up from the Depths I (6) - will be added shortly (amending pieces) Up from the Depths II (7) Volcano (14) Power Play (15) Bolt from the Blue (16) Attack of the Reptiles (17) Grandma Tourismo (18) Clean Sweap (19) The Man from TB5 (20) Home on the Ranch (21) Long Haul (22) Rigged for Disaster (23) Inferno (24) Hyerspeed (25) Brains vs Brawn (26)
I will aim to finish the episodes outstanding here and then start on Series 3, but this will be amongst all my other work but I will do my best to get there!
Okay, I think this is the part of the post where you can cheer for joy :)
