Hello! we've been doing a couple of lessons on classification recently, and i told my teacher about your genus of mini frogs. she was delighted and they have now been added to her powerpoint :)

I like to think of them as everyone's genus Mini. We all need a bit of a laugh sometimes. Things are always much too serious, especially in jargon-rich fields like taxonomy. It's helpful to lighten the mood. And perhaps if we all think of them as ours, perhaps we will be better at ensuring their future.

ive had these sort of things since i was a little kid. my mother tends to have them too, and others. i wish i knew how to actually hone it in or do something cool or useful with it. instead i just get these flashes of moments which end up coming around

winter has been hot and cold lol, it's mostly been fine but my, my son, and his dad all got sick!! dad's over it, me n baby are still going through it. like ugh 🙄😂 i'm handling it like a total baby bc my ears keep getting that plugged up feeling and i just CANNOT deal!! my son is taking it like a champ. aside from coughing, snot nose, and some bad moods, he's still raring at 110% all. the. time. 😂 toddlers!
