Yall remember how Texas had that "report an abortion" form that they had to take down after a week?
Well, Missouri has one, only it's for reporting transgender concerns.
Comrades. Friends. Romans. Countrymen. You know what to do.

The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.

I was hanging out at the karaoke bar, chatting with a beautiful woman, and we were really hitting it off. I threw a couple of flirtatious comments her way. She giggled nervously, but abruptly stopped and looked at the floor.
She told me that she was too nervous to hit on people because she's trans and worries that people will view her as a predator and that she might get hurt.
My heart sank. I let her know that she could hit on me in whatever way she wanted and I would LOVE it. We spent the rest of the night hanging out and flirting. We ended up making out. It was great.
But I can't stop thinking about how that wasn't the first time a trans woman has said that to me. About how unsafe it is for some women that they feel the need to give out fucking disclaimers to have normal interactions with people.
We have GOT to make the world a safer place for trans women. It pisses me off that there are men at the bar who are openly predatory towards me without fear of consequence, yet a trans woman is too scared to even fucking call me pretty. And that's because she IS more likely to face worse consequences for lesser things! Like what the fuck!
You need to always check on your internalized biases. Being queer yourself doesn't absolve you of transmisogynistic thoughts and behaviors. Being bi/pansexual doesn't mean you don't hold those biases either! If you feel differently about a trans woman hitting on you than you feel about a cis woman or a man hitting on you, you need to evaluate that.
Trans women, I love you so fucking much. You should be able to express attraction and love as freely as everyone else. I hope you can always feel safe around me. And I'll never stop fighting until you can feel safe period.

the funniest thing to me rn is seeing transphobic women going into bathrooms in transphobic states and then being shocked that trans men are in there and actually (gasp) look like men?!?! (shocking i know /s)
like you guys forced people to go to the bathrooms of their “biological sex” but now when they do it’s disconcerting that men look like men. (yes even if that man has a vagina.)
Tumblr media
Transphobes are shocked to realize trans men aren’t all “uwu soft boiz” and HRT does what it’s supposed to. It’s so mind boggling to them that trans people don’t look like their bigoted characatures.
Anyways here are some men that will be forced to use the women’s restroom in states like florida, texas, kansas, etc.

Edit to add: PLEASE don’t tag this post as “transandrophobia” or any similar terms.

challenged myself to make simpler redesigns that match the show constraints because I often create very complex designs and I wanted to see if I could make something I liked without going too over the top!! pretty happy with these [:
if you have any questions about my design choices ask away!!
part 2 with ten gazillion background characters including sunburst, luna, and twilight's canterlot friends!

Thomas Paine
Tumblr media
Portrait of Thomas Paine by Laurent Dubois (1792). Source: Wikipedia
On this day in 1792, English Radical Thomas Paine was declared an outlaw by the British government. His treatise The Rights of Man had troubled and irritated the men of property who ruled late eighteenth century Britain, injecting as it did, with its call for universal suffrage, the abolition of slavery and equal rights for women, a shot of energy into the English radical movement of the time. These were quite literally insurrectionary sentiments in the wake of both the American and French Revolutions, but when Payne extended his support for the American Republic by taking up a seat in the French Revolutionary Convention, with whom the United Kingdom was at war, the government had had enough. After the declaration of his outlaw status, Paine became a popular hate figure in England, his effigy for some years replacing that of Guy Fawkes on the November bonfires.
Paine remained loyal to the cause of the French Revolution until the rise of Napoleon after which he moved to the USA in 1802 where, as a Founding Father, he was received as both a hero and celebrity. Paine died in New York in 1808.
