What was it like the first time Twig or Ark referred to each other as Mother/Dad when talking to Opal? Was it awkward or were they comfortable enough that it was natural?

It was completely comfortable, at least at first, because they initially only referred to each other that way when they were alone with Opal and the other was away. They both had a small heart attack after Opal started talking and finally connected the dots as to who Mother and Dad were akin to how she realized Dusknoir was Grandpa.

Neither of them noticed that Opal had referred to them by a parental term because they were too panicked by Opal blabbing their secret in front of their crush.

[Episode Seven] A Fish in the Hand… 🎣

And there we have it, folks! The newly-arranged members of House Two have had their go, and after three hours of intense fishing, our winners emerge! Congratulations to Daithí, Suraj, and Ezra! 🍾

Despite having an utterly terrible time and absolutely hating every second of this challenge, Ezra did an amazing job and caught five fish! He decided that he Dislikes Fishing, though. 😅

Darrol and Suraj were both in their element! They had a lovely time fishing and seemed to really enjoy whistling along as they fished! Suraj surprised me by nabbing quite a few large Cichlids: he didn’t have any opinion on fishing, but he had a great time!

Josiah was Bored out of his mind the entire time, but he still managed to do well! The fish didn’t seem to be biting for him, though, as I watched him toss plenty of moss and sticks back into the pond!

Daíthi was an absolute natural! He surprised me by whipping out a HUGE BASS from the water with thirty minutes to go on the clock! 🐠 I was expecting him to do well, but damn!

Antony and Julien were polar opposites, omg! It surprised me so much at how neck and neck they were, because while Jules had a lovely time and was grinning for the length of the challenge… Antony was grimacing and grumbling to himself right across the pool! 😅

Our final three winners are now a part of the pool for our upcoming Solo Dates! The order for these will be randomized, and coming out in two-part posts across the next week! 🌸

Imagine the guild decides to go on another expedition and stop by to visit Twig, Ark, and Opal (once they learn about her). Team Skull comes to crash the party as part of their characters, and then suddenly Opal starts SCREECHING than she’s ever screeched before. She doesn’t stop until Team Skull leaves and even tries to bite them if they get close to her.

Someone makes a comment that a baby did a better vibe check than Chatot when Team Skull first came around.

I have absolutely dreadful news.

Opal absolutely adores Team Skull, especially Skuntank. This other anon got Team Skull’s behavior around Opal 100% correct:

Team Skull actually try to clean up their act of their own volition because of Opal liking them so much. They become super uptight about being good role models for her— they might go a bit more lax when she’s not around, but every now and then one of them will be like “Nah let’s put off cleaning the house until tomorrow”, then there will be a few moments of silence before they all say in unison “Opal deserves better uncles than we’re being right now :(“ and then they all get out the cleaning supplies and get to work.

When Opal’s older I could see her going through a rebellious streak and hanging out with Team Skull more, trying to get them to tell her about their glory days, and all three of them being like HOW ABOUT INSTEAD YOU STAY IN SCHOOL AND EAT YOUR VEGETABLES
