#The dragon's name is Mushu :3
the-s1lly-corner · 5 months
Note
I was rewatching the Mulan films to get that childhood nostalgia, and I remembered how much I love Mushu...
So I thought "what would the cast of TADC x reader be like, who is practically a copy of Mushu's personality", I imagine that in appearance he would be a Chinese dragon humanoid but with his personality
TADC cast x mushu type! reader !
im finally back on my computer, woohoo! ill probably answer a few requests, since i wanna draw stuff today </3 i dont really like leaving my wips unfinished for more than a few days TToTT side note i gotta rewatch mulan, used to be one of my favorite movies as a kid (though i barely watched movies back then so uh uh its not like there were many contenders </3) relying on the good ol character wiki to help me through this because its been so long since ive watched the movie
Tumblr media
CAINE:
i think caine would actually really enjoy you, a lot! in a weird way caine gives off similar energy, with the confidence and such you know? so you two probably bounce right off each other and build one another up... though sometimes this leads to more insane IHAs because you insist to caine that youre more capable than you actually are... as mean as that sounds... the only reason that things dont get too too chaotic is because caine, in my opinion, does hold some significant level of care for the circus members (at least as it stands for the pilot)
like would he die for them? probably not.. but he cares enough to keep the circus (mostly) safe and bothers with keeping them mentally stimulated and entertained; he doesnt even watch the IHAs himself so its likely that its not for his own entertainment
ponders
im getting off topic, though, point is i think you two would be friends !
POMNI:
honestly i struggle a lot with writing pomni, but i think the two of you would be friendly with one another ! i think she might be a little taken aback by your confidence, but hey, its not like its to anyones detriment, right? well... IHAs can get interesting, with you either insisting to run in, leroy jenkins style, into the conflict; or trying to push someone else to do (oftentimes ragatha, who i feel would be the most likely to do the most in IHAs if theres nothing pulling her away from it (cough cough checking on kaufmo cough cough)
honestly my brains a little fuzzy trying to remember mulan, but i feel like you and pomni would have a similar dynamic to mulan and mushu as well
JAX:
i think jax would try to push you more than he does the others since oftentimes your reactions are more... out there, youre so desperate to prove yourself as this big strong individual that you kind of make an ass out of yourself. and jax revels in your humiliation everytime someone manages to humble you.. in terms of the other stuff, i think he would tease and make fun of any abilities you have.. assuming you also have (some) fire abilities like mushu, jax would just call you names like "matchstick" and "lighter boy", making fun of your weak fire powers
RAGATHA:
as mentioned in pomnis part, you and ragatha have... an interesting dynamic... but i can also see you two having a similar dynamic to mushu and cri-kee . with you being bold and ragatha keeping you grounded. often you two end up together during IHAs with either ragatha seeking you out or someone pushing you to her
not much to be said, i think ! very similar dynamic, ragatha keeps you in check, though i think she would occasionally scold you if you did something particularly reckless
KINGER:
ooo this ones a hard one, but i think it would be similar to my personal take on what his and caines dynamic would be but with you as a fellow circus member rather than the ring master... has respect for you (though i think kinger would have respect for just about everyone who has come and gone to the circus, he doesnt strike me as the type to just diss others unless theres a reason he doesnt like the person... and even then he would mind his own business, i think) which... honestly, i can see this either making your ego more intense or actually mean something to have someone actually respect you.. ponders... character degradation(?) or character growth.. both are fun routes, i think! ill leave this one up to you...
slides my favorite kinger thing
you guys tell each other stories about your adventures, both of you hyping them up way more than they need to be
ZOOBLE:
writing zoobles part first because i think that they may be the hardest, but in the kindest way possible i dont think they would be able to stand your personality... maybe youre a little loud and out there, or maybe they just dont like your humor or often times self centered nature... i think they would tolerate you just enough to get through IHA but forming a friendship with zooble is going to be tough... though, they do find it amusing when you and jax butt heads
GANGLE:
very similar to pomnis part, i think... but like, gangle is shy whereas pomni is nervous so things are a little different... i think gangle would just along with most stuff you decide to do, that you rope her into, because she doesnt have a backbone to say no or suggest something else.. well she doesnt have bones in general but... you know? honestly she kind of envies you in a weird way, she wishes she had the confidence you have so sometimes she probably approaches you for advice.. how this ends up is up to you !

Sidereal Aries Characters in Fiction
The following are fictional characters that fit the Sidereal Aries archetype as described by @siderealmaven.
1. Korra
Tumblr media
Korra from the Legend of Korra is known for her proficiency in firebending at the beginning of Season 1. She knows how to use physical force and her willpower in order to create change in the world around her and believes that it is her duty to do so. Her main conflict is figuring out how to airbend and create change in circumstances where brute force doesn’t work. This is the opposite of her predecessor Aang, who was an airbender and struggled to learn firebending. Regardless of how much she tries to learn how to be like Aang from his son Tenzin, she has to forge her own connection to her airbending when her firebending is taken away by S1’s antagonist. There is no one who could teach her how to deal with that situation because no one she knows has ever experienced it before. This is a perfect example of how Aries is forced to forge their own path and learn to rely upon their own instincts. Throughout her arc, Korra goes from an overenthusiastic upstart to a battle honed warrior and experienced leader.
2. Katniss Everdeen
Tumblr media
Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games is the first person from District 12 to volunteer to participate in the Games. She does this in order to protect her younger sister who does not have the physical capabilities necessary to survive in the arena. During her time there, she breaks all of the rules and challenges the status quo. She forms an alliance with Rue and then holds a funeral for her when she dies, which in turn challenges the audience’s idea of who the enemy is and what winning really means. She also forms an alliance with Peeta and pretends to fall in love with him in order to save his life. This in turn changes the rules of the game and there are now two winners when there was only supposed to be one. Later on in the series when Katniss is turned into a symbol of the Capitol’s power, she uses her influences to lead a rebellion against it despite being coerced and punished at every turn. She shows over and over again how important it is to make personal sacrifices for the greater good, even when it could come at the cost of your life.
3. Hua Mulan
Tumblr media
Hua Mulan from Disney’s 1998 Animated Film is a woman who decides to take her father’s place in the Imperial Chinese army because she knows that if he goes to war, he will not survive due to his previous injuries that have left him disabled. She steals his armor and impersonates him, becoming the first woman (that we know of) to join the army, which is against the rules. What is so special about Mulan is that even though she does not have a mentor, she does have a spiritual guide in the form of a dragon named Mushu, sent to her by her ancestors. This is a symbol of how Aries may technically be physically alone, but spiritually can draw upon their own inner reserves of power that cannot be seen by others. Mulan is outed and abandoned by her military commander when she is injured after causing an avalanche in order to win a battle against the Huns. Because of this, she sees the Huns have survived and are on their way to invade the Emperor’s palace. This makes her the only one with the power to stop it. And she does, earning herself the honor of going down in history forever. The most heartfelt moment of this movie is at the end, when her Father welcomes her home with open arms.
What all of these characters exemplify perfectly, is what it means to take responsibility for yourself. Each one of these heroes has a unique set of skills born out of a unique life experience that only they have. This means there are challenges in their world that only they can take on and accomplish. There is only one avatar, one Katniss Everdeen, and one Mulan.
If they didn’t stand up, face their fears, and learn how to use their power, nothing could have ever changed at all. This is what is means to be Sidereal Aries!

Hazel's Leap Year Post - Warnings, news, updates, and more!
Happy leap year! I'm not sure how else to celebrate except with my first journal post of 2024 (and first journal in a while), but who knows, maybe I'll think of somethin' ^-^ So how's 2024 so far? For me it's been alright UwU However, I am excited, I feel that 2024 could hold alot of potential for being a good year! >:3 Most days seem to be rather chill at the moment, I have enjoyed a few good outings tho :3 But I'm excited because I'm finally seeing to my big dream of mine! And that's travelling the world! ^w^ I will be going abroad to somewhere nice and hot in november, but I'm also hoping to make more friends locally aswell as seeing if any of my local pals would like to go on holidays with me before november aswell, cos it is quite a long way till november :o I'm hoping I'll get to travel alot this year, my new year's resolution is to travel and make friends after all ^w^ So as you may already know, I'm a very shy person, especially in the offline world. I'm not really confident enough to make the first move, though since I'm working on making more friends, especially offline friends, I'll have to see if I can try and come out my shell more.. ^-^; But I'll get there! I've made friends before and I can make friends again. Wish me luck! :3 Oki so..updates! First of all, I would like to say happy new year and happy chinese new year :3 I enjoyed some food and takeaways aswell as watching the cartoon movie on Disney's Mulan UwU It was great! Mushu is a funny character hehe X3 He is the dragon, which is this year's chinese zodiac. Last year's zodiac is the rabbit! and I just so happen to be the year of the rabbit ^w^ So last year I celebrated by making a new bunny oc. She is part scorpion and part lionhead rabbit, I made her on my birthday to celebrate that aswell as my zodiacs. I am a scorpio aswell as a rabbit, so it only makes sense that my bunny oc is part scorpion! I don't know what type of scorpion but I do know for sure she is a lionhead rabbit :3 I call her Scorpio Bunny, she's not really a fursona but she's still very cute ^w^ I'll post her at some point if I haven't posted her already. But if I have then you should be able to find her in my gallery! :3 I've also been branching out alot to other sites this year, to y'know.. get my works out there and try and get more noticed UwU I've been branching out to reddit, unvale, bluesky, and no mcroll this time, but seeing as it looks like the coast is clear, I returned to deviantart as for now. don't miss the community, but I do kinda miss some of the site's old features.. ÚwÙ No I'm not giving out links here, that's how the stalkers find me. If you want to follow me on those places, you'll have to message me privately. U.U And I wouldn't recommend searching for my accounts either, I somehow managed to get popular enough to end up with imposter accounts, so if you think an account could be me, ask the security questions I have provided on my weasyl and toyhouse (I plan to make security questions available on other places too). Ask several, and if they answer incorrectly or refuse to answer them, then you'll know it's an imposter and not me. The imposter accounts were created by jealous haters who have no life, as their pathetic attempt to frame me and spread more of their crappy fake rumours. But at least every smart person knows not to fall for those lies, only a stupid fool would believe such lies about me.. UwU Anyways, the imposters post disturbing content so that's also part of why I wouldn't recommend searching up my name, especially if you're a bit on the innocent and/or sensitive side. Stay safe! However, I might give out my new subscribestar just so it's easier to access, I might migrate there instead of using patreon because I hear patreon is giving out bans to artists who make content of higher ratings, so I might have to make big changes to my patreon and only make content for all ages, but I'll sort that out later, I'll be needing to make some big improvements to my tiers anyway.. ^-^; My subscribestar is still awaiting for approval, heck even I'm waiting too. I don't know how long approvals are suppose to take as it's been several months now. Until then, please feel free to check out my new subscribestar! https://www.subscribestar.com/hazel?redirect_notice=true I think you can subscribe once it's been approved, but I'm still new here and learning my way around so who knows :o Okay! so plans..what do I plan on doing? well.. in the online world, I am not only hard at work with my comic and artwork, but I have a little surprise that might come later after my comic ^-^ I wont say what because stalkers might try to copy me, but it'll definitely be something fun that you can try out if you like my characters ^w^ Subscribers and patrons will be the first to see new comic and animated episodes when they are out, as it might be a while until the series releases to the whole public, but subscribers will also be first to try out a fun feature where they can interact with my ocs ^w^ The reasons why I'm releasing it later when the comic is out is because you may not know the characters very well before you see stories and media of them, while when you actually go and see them, you develop a fondness to your favourite characters. So that's why I'm releasing the other feature later so people can interact with their favourite characters ^w^ I may however release another feature sometime soon before or during the comic, my good friend Chris aka Employee205664 suggested an idea of another way you can interact with my original characters so shoutouts to Chris aka Civil Defence Fox he's a good pal :3 maybe the other feature will be a bit of a surprise too ^w^ but I think Chris probably knows what it is X3 sshh it's a surprise lol! XD I'll tell you what it is when it's out ;3 but as for now, subscribers gain early access to cool stuff like this =D so if you're a huge fan then I hope you'll support me enough to become a subscriber ^w^ I've had a rough past so the money will go towards helping me aim for a good future to make up for past abuse. Keep in mind that I do work slowly, so as you may of noticed, I even be a while on content like artwork, but I do get things done and I do put alot of love, thought, and effort into the things I make, so it'll all be worth it UwU I've been making The Waffle Stars series since forever so I hope it'll gain alot of love when it's out ^-^ As for offline goals! I've been trying to tidy up all of my house so we can finally get some decorating done, put shelves up, and put up all my wall decorations that's hogging my drawers. I'm also seeing about being allowed a small dog, because of my invisible disabilities, I am eligible for a service dog. another shoutout to my good friend Diamond Faith for the helpful suggestion :3 But before we can be allowed a service dog, we have some obstacles to face First of all, my house does not allow me keeping a dog because the housing people said so. They don't like us keeping dogs and apparently cats aswell I've heard, so I was lucky to be allowed my guinea pigs, since animals kept in cages and tanks are less likely to cause damage to the house, and rodents like guinea pigs need to be constantly chewing on things (it's to keep their teeth healthy) so that's why I give them wood, cardboard, and hay for that reason. So we're planning on leaving the housing people that's not letting us have a dog Secondly, I'm currently proving that yes, I look after my guinea pigs well, I'm probably better at that than looking after myself, but I can still take good care of my house and self too, so I'm proving I can do all that to prove I can look after a dog aswell, because I've lived with dogs ever since when I was wee, so I have at least a bit of knowledge and experience with both dogs and guinea pigs, due to them being animals I've owned before And as I've mentioned before, we're tryna see about travelling more because travelling makes me really happy, it brings me alot of joy. So I'm aiming for a good future to have many things that could bring me joy and happiness, that's the key to having a good future, to work towards your hopes, dreams, and things future you will be able to thank you for ^-^ That aswell as always looking for things to keep you happy and entertained :3 I want to be a pampered princess! XD I'm also gonna try and make lots of local friends, I mean I have alot of online friends, I'd like to make just as many local friends because sadly I've lost touch with alot of my old school friends as I grew older and I would like to reunite with some aswell as making new ones too. Thing is, I'm very shy. So I need to try and practice coming out of my shell more, I think I need to step out my comfort zone sometimes and meet new people <:3 I'm currently hard at work on my art and trying to get some of them finished soon, but I still enjoy making my content, I make everything all for funsies :3 I've also improved my streams lots! now you can become a cute chibi fox when you subscribe to my livestreams ^w^ You get to customise the fox you play as, aswell as taking part in minigames to earn prizes! =D I also started using my mic on streams and made a pngtuber to go along with it, so join the fluffy gang today by becoming a follower on my livestreams! ^-^ https://www.twitch.tv/hazelthevixen I've got alot of offline goals aswell as online ones, they may not be new year resolutions, but they're still goals I'd like to work towards ^-^ Wish me luck! :3 And if you've read it all and made it this far, I jus wanna say..congrats! =D Have a lucky clover ^w^ *she gives you a 4 leaf clover to bring you good luck to all her friends and fans* 🍀 Thank you for checking out my post! :3 *the cute fox is wagging her floofy tail* Take care you guys ^-^
Please be nice when commenting! I refuse to be criticised so please accept that. If you're gonna be mean, don't say anything at all. Thankies for checking out my post! Meep meep! ヽ(◕ヮ◕)ノ I'm on other places too! ^-^

"13 Animal Facts That Ruin Disney Movies" Is Silly
The article I'm discussing
(Bit of an introduction, feel free to skip to the creamy center.)
These clickbaitey lists have always been a pet peeve of mine. Though I get a lot of amusement out of mocking them, so why not ramble to you, yes you and only you specifically.
Lets talk about the introduction for a sec
"From Timone and Pumbaa in The Lion King" (An excerpt from the article intro)
I'm sorry, WHO THE HELL IS "TIMONE"!? Oh boy oh boy, you know it's a good one when they mispell a character name already.
"Mushu in Mulan, these animals add humor and life to the films." (An excerpt from the article intro)
Are... are they implying Mushu the dragon is an animal? They never even try to give 'facts' about him, so it feels like mentioning him just defeats the point they're making about animal characters being neat. If they HAD to talk about Mulan, why not Cri-Kee the cricket?
"You won’t believe which beloved characters are actually based on real animals!" (An excerpt from the article intro)
Yeah, we'll see about that one chief.
I grew up on a good few of the movies mentioned, so I'll tell ya when my childhood starts crumbling, lets get into it.
Tumblr media
(Bwhahahahahahaha, what a great start, and the image they chose! This has to be intentional)
Guys! G-guys! Come quick, Aladdin is ruined for me!!!
So, this is actually true and not presented facetiously. It seems like you can't really train them to stop, but like is this ruining the movie for y'all? I smell false advertising.
Also, I've seen some claims you CAN potty train them, so in the context of a Disney movie, mmm well consider my suspension of disbelief... unstretched.
Tumblr media
(What the fuck bro?)
A good few of these fall into the genre of "If the characters acted like perfect little robots dancing along to whatever facts about their species I read: the movie would be SO different guys!1!!1!1!" I won't talk about a few of them, to avoid repeating myself.
If they were perfectly realistic, they wouldn't talk or think like humans (I'm refering to the anthropomorphized animals) even IF Marlin still has that instinct. That is the last egg he had with his beloved (and now dead) wife, and the other eggs are all destroyed, it is NOT any stretch of the imagination to assume he would raise this egg because of
1: his emotional attachment to it and
2: if he ate it, there goes his ONLY offspring, this would only really work if Nemo had siblings and/or we see other clownfish Marlin would be willing to mate with.
Anyway, a list of all the "wouldn't movie be so sad/scary/gross different if the characters didn't act in character?" Ones: 8 and 5
Tumblr media
This is caused by boredom, Donald isn't bored, overcrowding (like in poorly managed farms, such as the ones that need beak trimming), or poor nutrition, Donald seems to have good enough nutrition
Also this essentially goes into what I was just talking about in the previous point, but frankly, most of them do.
Tumblr media
(Sheesh Cracked, no need to talk to Simba like that, what'd he do to you?)
1: That doesn't ALWAYS happen (especially when the cub is also the fucking prince, you wad!). I watched a documentary (called 'Born in Africa' I believe, would recommend) and there was a lion cub debiliated by a broken back, but she was still being raised, not treated as gently as she should have been, but not abandoned. YET lionesses will sometimes abandon weak, injured, or malformed cubs and since exceptions NEVER happen that documentery is unrealistic, clearly.
2: I'm pretty sure the abandonment only happens while the cubs are very young and the lioness leaves the pride to raise them. That doesn't seem to happen in the Lion King, so we can assume the abandonment wouldn't happen.
3: He's the fucking prince, you wad! But sure, lets kill him because he doesn't have a sibling, not like he has the protection of the lion pride and the respect of the animals of the Pridelands. This is totally the same thing as wild lions real life.
Tumblr media
(My poor heart can't take all this childhood-ruining!)
Ah yes, the other primary genre; the ones that are just plain silly, how could THIS ruin a movie?
Though I do wonder, why did they name him Flounder? Both in an in-canon and meta sense... huh.
Also, flounders are adorable!
Tumblr media
(Fun fact: Because elephant metabolisms don't digest their food too well, their feces is full of nutrients which goes into the environment, through bugs, and plants, and such.)
This list is starting to feel more like "Thirteen weird and worrying facts about animal species which happen to show up in Disney movies"
Anyway, refer to the Flounder rebuttal.
I'm skipping number four because it comes down to what I've just said.
Tumblr media
What? How does that even effect the movie? Are they saying the other rats being able to tell Remy's food isn't poison ruins the plot? THEY NEVER THOUGHT IT WAS POISON! They thought cooking food was frivolous.
Again, this is just listing animal facts which are maybe kinda tangientially related to Disney movies.
Tumblr media
(Imagine the bottom text without the context of the image or top text...)
"Those wild clothes-wearing-mice are filthy, don't touch them!"
Specist, much?
Admitably I don't have the greatest counter to this one.
Tumblr media
(What a coincidence, I've recently read/posted about meerkats)
Our friends at Cracked saved the best for last.
By insinuating Timon (Oh sorry) Timone is a mass murderer, did you not watch Lion King 1½!? Listen bud, you can misunderstand the word 'ruin', you can clickbait me, but I draw the line at failing to do the simplest research into the lore of the Lion King cinematic multiverse!
WE KNOW TIMONE'S BACKSTORY!
Okay, but maybe the writer denies the canonicity of everyone's favorite midquel, sure that's valid as hell.
But!
Female meerkats are the ones doing the killing, like male lions, they (mostly the dominant female) kill the offspring of other meerkats to try and give their genes a better chance of passing on.
So, are they insinuating Timone is not just a mass murderer, but also trans? You know what Cracked? You win, lets go with that! But I wouldn't say it ruins the Lion King for me.
Sigh BUT the theory claims he killed his meerkat friends, not newborns, so it doesn't correctly use the real life fact, I could accept Disney using a bit of creative-liscense, I could accept a fan theory using creative liscense (I'd eat the "Timone murderer and trans dude" theory up, if not for the midquel) but an article dedicated to talking about fictional characters following animals facts perfectly, gets no such privilege.
Outro
To clear: I bear no real ill will to the author of this article, it is a bad article, but at least it made me chuckle, and gave me something to rant about. Either way, I'm sure the writer is a perfectly decent person, good even!
And hey! They cited their sources, in some cases they seemed to not even read their own sources, but they cited them! And it is my belief that spreading knowledge an inherent good.
But they wrote a silly article, so I get to point and laugh, them's da rules.

a very potter musical: sentence meme.
“ hufflepuffs are particularly good finders.” “ what the hell is a hufflepuff ?” “ [name], you little shit !” “ what the devil is going on in here ?” “ it’s gonna be totally awesome.” “ i'm the boy who lived. not died. god.” “ it was left to me by my dad, my dad that's dead. my father is dead. i have a dead father." “ oh my god, i have to fight a goat ? i don't think i can do that morally... ” “ oh my god i have to fight a dragon ? i can't do that i'm just a little kid ! " “ i don't know, [name], someone punched me in the face and my sense of direction got a little goofed up ! " “ you're like this guy, that's just-- around, all the time, when i don't need a guy around. you're this spare guy, all the time, this spare dude. ” " oh my wizard god ! " " i don't know [name], you're a hufflepuff why don't you FIND out. " i don't want my life to be like spiderman 3, i hated that movie. " “ maybe you'll just have to fight like mushu from mulan or something... " " well, the medallion says that's dumb, so we're not going to do that. " " it's just every time i look at her i get pains in my chest, and i just know it's her fault .. that bitch ! " “ if i had an invisibility cloak i'd use it so i'd never have to face my own reflection in the mirror. " " c'mon, let's go watch wizards of waverly place. " " how did you idiots get captured ? you were invisible ! " “ i can't believe i couldn't figure out the countercurse was just 'unjellify.' " “ so basically, i’ve being putting everyone who looks like a good guy into gryffindor, a bad guy into slytherin and the others can go wherever the hell they want. ” “ and remember, a portkey can be a seemingly harmless object, like... a football, or... a dolphin. " " i'll be in the drawing room, painting a picture of the stupid looks on your faces." " shut your ungodly, lopsided mouth and quit interrupting. ”  “ for the cleverest witch of your age you really can be a dumbass sometimes. ” “ what would zac efron say at a time like this ? ” " are you kids ready to fight a dragon ? of course you aren't, you're just children - what the hell am i thinking ? " " i would feed myself to aragog's children for that cup ! " " come on, i'm tired. can't we just be death eaters ? " " you know, i used to think looks weren't important and now i think they're more important than anything. " “ am i bleeding ? ” " actually I have heard those things, about a thousand times, but never have they been told to me with so much sass. ” “ drop the attitude, [name]. you’re acting like garfield on a monday. " " that is a boss zefron poster. " “ ou guys, go get snacks. ” “ oh shit, we barricaded the door. " " ah shit. " " it's because he's dead you dumb motherfucker. ” “ well, i believe everything has its place. ”  “ muggles have their place. mudbloods have their place. and so do your clothes. " " yes, i know, [name] ! i hear everything you hear ! " " when i rule the world, i'll have... snakes ! ” " we are going to get you laid. " " when i had a body, i had mad game with the bitches. ” "' usually i just kill people who try to get me to open up. ” " it's like that movie 'she's all that'. ” " ughh...now two people are mad at me ! "  " what do you want with a rocketship ? ” " no, i called you a squirrel. ” " hey, you. " " you think killing people will make them like you, but it doesn't ... it just makes them dead. " " so you came back ? ” “ i came home. ” “ aren't we an odd couple ? " " when i rule the world i'll plant flowers ! " “ oh my god. [name], shut up. " there's only one thing to do: i have to die.”  “ i love you all... except you, [name]. i can't fucking stand you." " i can’t sleep on my tummy. ”

Allies + Canada and Axis + Prussia walking in on their toddler singing Disney songs while wearing a costume that matches that certain Disney movie (like for example Germany walks in on them singing I’ll make a man out of you and the toddler is dressed like Mulan, you decide the song the toddler sings that fits which country and who they’re dressed up as)
QwQ omg my favorite Disney princess is 100% The girl from brave! (I'm kicking myself for forgetting her name...) And you know this prompt is gonna be super cheesy lmao and I'm stretching it across general kid movies!
Dad!Allies and Dad!Axis catching their child dressed up as their favorite Character!
Allies-
America:
He could hear Monster's Inc. playing for about, the fourth time today
The only difference this time was he could hear his kid going "Rawr!" Every five seconds.
The man got curious and just about busted a gut from restraining his laughter.
His kid had Purple colored paper taped all over them. It was hard to tell but they were dressed up as Boo!
This gave him an idea!
Running up to this spare attic he found a purple blanket and an unused mop and some googly eyes.
Walking back to his kid he helped them get on his make shift Boo outfit, and the kid was ELATED about it. No more paper cuts for them!
The best part was when he asked them why they dressed up as Boo, they told him it was because Boo was brave, and wasn't scared of monsters, just like their dad!
Cue their kid getting America a box of tissues while he cried on the floor.
England:
He wasn't a fan of American movies, but his kid was, so what his kid wanted, was what they got.
It... It was Shrek.
At first England kind of disliked the movie, but the more he watched it with his kid, the more he liked art the interpretations of the fairy tale characters.
And this was an extremely special moment for england.
Around the fifth time watching it he saw his kid point to one of the characters and say "That's not what tinker bell looks like!"
England had immediately spit out his tea, and started questioning his kid about it.
This was how he learned that his child had the same ability to see fairytale creatures as he does!
Soon enough he had his kid running around grabbing different blankets and scarfs to try and recreate what she really looked like!
Now he has a child sized Tinkerbell running around, Tinkerbell herself chasing after them playfully.
France:
He has the whole Disney collection from start to finish, and it's terrifying.
His kid is also badly addicted. But especially to Little Mermaid.
The thing is, France has his child completely spoiled, and has a bunch of maids around the place. One of which loves nothing more than sewing together cute outfits for the kid.
It's not that France doesn't have the time, oh no, this was the kids idea, and their idea only.
One day, after a grueling work day, he's in his room, trying to rest. His kid comes in wearing a trench coat.
France is courious as to why, and his mood is immediately lifted as the small child acts out a shortened play of The Little Mermaid, all costumes included.
It was amazing how well they moved with all the clothes they were wearing, and taking them on and off again as quickly as possible.
By the end France had given them a standing ovation, and they both happily napped on his bed due to the amount of physical exhaustion.
You can 100% catch France bragging about his little star to the other countries when he gets the chance!
China:
China's rubbed off on his child with several things.
One of those things is his love for old culture and reminiscing memories.
so surprise! Mulan is 100% a movie in the house... Except his kid has become brutality obsessed with the dragon.
One day China's fancy res shirts goes missing, and he finds it on his child while they were watching Mulan.
Mimicking everything Mushu does.
China has to hold his hand over his mouth as his kid eventually trips over the long shirt and starts saying things like "This is disrespectful to dragons!" And "If this shirt has a cow, it is now dishonored!"
Eventually china, very shyly, dresses up as Mulan while his kid isn't watching.
The kid proceeds to act like they're meeting a princess at Disney, not recognizing their own father.
Russia:
Unlike him, his kid really, REALLY loves the snow.
It's something that he hopes his child grows out of because he's heard them sing 'let it go' about 50 times.
It was very cute at first. Now he wants to beat the CD with his pipe (and then America for gifting them the movie).
But then the SECOND on came out.
Now his child parades around as Elsa, hitting high sqeaky notes, and following around the cat.
Cat is having more fun then the kid to be honest.
Russia was about to try and distract his kid until they asks him to play dress up with them
The sparkle in their eyes made him immediately say yes.
They wanted him to be Christoph, and when he asked them why he just about cried.
"Your cool, funny, nice, and you have the same nose!"
That's it. That broke him, he's trying not to cry
Has never knitted a dress so fast in his life, and has a very similar outfit to Christoph as well, so the two of them are parading around the house with their cat trailing behind them. His own little knitted Olaf costume on!
Canada:
Canada's kid can be rebellious at best, but seeing them dressed up as maleficent almost made him choke.
Is his kid turning into a villain!?
Nope. Turns out they just thought she was really cool, and felt bad that she wasn't invited to the child's birthday, or whatever.
And to be honest, yeah, that's kind of cruel.
Canada had bought the Sleeping Beauty film via America's suggestion, and wasn't dissapointed.
And now it was totally worth it since his kid was going through their "I have one outfit and no matter how many times my horns won't fit through the car door, I refuse to take them off" phase.
He enjoyed watching his kid act out a happier ending dressed as the Disney villain. And even snuck a few pictures of them prancing around and singing.
It brought tears to his eyes knowing that no matter what, his kid can see the good in anyone, and maybe one day that will come in handy!
Axis-
Germany:
I need to make it immediately clear, that Germany and China now officially plan playdates for their Mulan obsessed children.
Except Germany's kid is obsessed with Li Shang, and the "let's get down to business" song.
He's so proud of his kid not being afraid to show their little clumsy moves in order to show people they mean business.
Even if he can't take them seriously when they are this small and cute.
It starts out when they wanted to be a character from Mulan on Halloween, not yet seen the movie, but all that was left was a mock up Li Shang costume.
It was game over.
The kid would sing to his German shepherds as if they were their shoulders and bark dog commands.
Germany is a proud father now.
And the playdates I mentioned earlier? Oh yeah it's twice as cute when you have a tiny red dragon going "I HAVE TINY ARMS I CAN NIT BE MAN!"
Italy:
Beauty and the beast.
Italy's kid adores Bell, and has memorized every line, and dance.
One point gave him a heart attack catching them climbing a latter.
The best part is, Italy kept his chibi outfit from when he lived under Austria's rules. Which was at some point died blue, but now he has a tiny Bell running around more than gleefully.
Italy even joins in with him, and honestly it's the cutest thing.
Surprisingly his kid is really good with singing, and this is their new favorite hobby now.
Italy is also really emotional over the fact his kid wasn't scared of Beast either. His little tike is going to be a brave one, Italy is going to make sure of it!
Japan:
Yeah, Disney movies don't exist in his house, but Studio Ghibli 1000% does.
His kid is obsessed with Ponyo!
One day Japan was really concerned over how quiet his kid was being until he found them in the koi pond, trying to talk to the fishes, and heard him name them Ponyo 1-5.
His heart dank because he wanted to tell them the fish had no clue what they were saying, but at the same time.
Kawaii overload.
Small child talking to the koi, and enjoying the water, and muddy rain puddles? Oh yeah. That's adorable.
Eventually he makes them a fish outfit and it's a good thing it was mostly foam because the first thing his kid did was splash around in the puddles.
Japan filmed it.
He's planning on embarrassing his kid when they turn 16.
It's payback for not letting him watch the movie with them earlier.
Prussia:
Oh no. His kid has become obsessed with Rapunzel.
"how is that an issue?"
Well when your kid developed some of your impulse control issues, you will find them trying to crawl out of a window to escape their unlawful step mother/Prussia.
He was extremely confused about it at first as well. Untill his kid said, something something RAPUNZEL!
Then it clicked, and he was able to laugh about it.
Prussia hasn't seen the movie himself, and when he watches it he thinks Rapunzel is so quirky and super AWESOME! Especially because his kid now has a bunch of yarn on their head.
Not gonna lie, they both dress up as Rapunzel and try and fight each other with the long wigs.
Which is a sight to see first thing in the morning. Just ask Germany.
I know I didn't answer the prompt exactly, but I couldn't resist making some wholesome content! Also-
HER NAME IS MERIDA I JUST REMEMBERED IT LIKE, 3 DAYS AFTER THE FIRST DRAFT! THE CHICK FROM BRAVE IS MERIDA!!!

So, I watched Mulan (2020)
Your only valid reason to not support it is Liu Yifei supporting Hong Kong police. (Which I wasn't aware of before I bought the thing, but oh well.)
1) The Disney+ $29.99 thing, as far as I can tell, is not a rental. It seems like it just gives you access to the movie, and you can watch it as much as you want until December when it's available to all Disney+ subscribers. It's their first time doing Premiere Access, so I'm not sure, but that's how it read on my screen, to me.
2) No Mushu didn't bother me, neither did no music. It was just an action movie.
3) It did not remove the queer undertones. The queer undertones are amplified. As are the trans boy undertones. I know everyone romanticizes the "Bisexual Shang" thing, but what it really was was our little queer asses reading into that. And if you liked that, you'll like this soldier making eyes at Hua Jun the whole time, and still liking him when he finds out he's her. He's basically just Li Shang by a different name. All the Shang moments are given to him. Stupid to not just make him Li Shang, but whatever. Also, Mulan has very sapphic moments with this witch lady. Just me? Idk.
I do think there's problems with it. There was a very "I'm Sparticus" moment that left me rolling my eyes. Also, the fact that it was written by white people, who don't seem to understand Chinese culture?
I also didn't get why they went with the Phoenix instead of a dragon. It doesn't feel very Chinese, to me. Isn't a phoenix a Greek thing? It's like they just picked another fire-related mythological creature.
I also understand everyone's take about "chosen one" and "magic". I don't think she's a chosen one in this film. Nobody comes to her and says "you're the only one who can save the kingdom". But it does have those vibes, because her qi is "very strong" or whatever. It was cool, but it also kind of ignores that Mulan is just a brave woman who fights because she has to, not a magical girl.
Although, a lot of it did feel like the old Hong Kong cinema movies I used to watch, a lot, with those impossible leaps and running up walls and even the dialogue. That was fun.
I didn't like the little references to the songs in the dialogue. Weird and forced. They should have just ignored the songs completely, or included them. Plus, I love Asian singers and there's this weird idea in the West that Asian people can't sing, so this would've been a great place to dispel that myth.
Overall, it's a fun movie. If you want, watch it. If the political aspects of it bother you so much, don't listen to me and stick to your guns. I respect that.
But, I just wanted everyone to know that the price isn't for a rental, especially with Black Widow and what else trying this format, next. It seems like it's... just giving you access to it early. If that makes sense?
But also, this is coming from someone who lives in places where movie tickets can be $20, anyway. So, my whole household getting to watch a movie multiple times for the price of one movie ticket and a large popcorn doesn't bother me as much.

My Disney Fab 50 Statues
This is my version of the Disney Fab 50 statues for the WDW 50th Anniversary, and why I picked each one. My list aims much more to park history than the official list does. I'll note which ones are official statues by underlining them. These are in no particular order, but organized by park they'd be in. Magic Kingdom 1) Mickey - Obviously, Mickey, being the park and company mascot, needs to be here, and he's on the official list as well. I chose to put my version in his Philharmagic costume. It's got the hat from Fantasia/Sorcerer's Apprentice, which is well known, but tailored more to the park attraction. 2) Daisy Duck - One of the Fab 6, Daisy is also along for the ride. But unlike the official's "standard" outfit, I'm putting Daisy in a safari outfit to represent Jungle Cruise. Since Jungle Cruise doesn't really have any characters, I'm using outfits, like with Mickey, to represent attractions that otherwise would be left out. 3) Goofy - Another of the Fab 6, Mickey's best friend needs to be represented. Like Daisy, he's also repping a character-less ride. This time he's repping Big Thunder Railroad. As an added bonus, if they put him in a conductor outfit, it could also rep Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway, but that's at another park. 4) Pluto - The last of the Fab 6 in this park (the other two I'm placing elsewhere), Mickey's dog Pluto. And since the Park Wishables already put Mickey and Minnie in space suits for Space Mountain, let's give Pluto an astronaut helmet to represent it! And, as an added bonus, it doubles as a take-that at Universal, since Disney can't have Marvel in the WDW parks, and Pluto would be a joke on Cosmo (the space dog in the Collector's museum from Guardians of the Galaxy). 5) Sonny Eclipse - The first statue of mine that's not only unique to my list, but also represents something 100% in the park. I haven't been to Cosmic Rays myself, but from what I hear around WDWNT and WIGScord, it's pretty popular. Or at least Sonny is. So he gets a statue. 6) Merlin and Archmedes - Second statue unique to my list, and the first that's for the history of the park. Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom was a scavenger hunt-type game that closed down early this year, and Merlin was kinda your guide for it. The game apparently had a lot of problems, but it looked really fun at the same time. 7) Genie - A surprising omition from the official list, and, unlike DLR, WDW actually has an Aladdin ride. The official list does have Abu, but I feel Genie is much more iconic and representitational of the movie. I'm also surprised that Carpet wasn't with Abu. 8) Pirate Dog - The Pirate Dog holding the keys is my representation of Pirates of the Caribbean. The dog might not be the most obvious pick, but as I'm trying to steer away from realistic-looking human characters, the dog was picked. Plus, they also made a Tsum Tsum and a Wishable of him, so... 9) Big Al OR Henry- This one's a toss-up. Either bear would do, and it's surprising to me that Country Bear Jamboree isn't represented. Of course, we know that it's a "less popular" attraction, so... 10) Madame Leota - The hitchhiking ghosts would also work to represent Haunted Mansion, but I think that having a gold statue inside of an ornate glass orb would look cooler. Plus, it only takes up one character slot, rather than 3. 11) Dumbo - One of the original rides from Disneyland, this classic has to be represented, and Disney agreed. Although I cut out Timothy. Didn't wanna take up another slot. 12) Stitch - Another statue to represent a past attraction, Stitch is here to represent Stitch's Great Escape. He's also, like the official statue, in his 626 form, because there's not nearly as much merchandise for him that way. 13) Winnie the Pooh - Piglet is with him on the official statue, but I think Pooh can stand on his own. Or, at least, eat hunny on his own. I mean, the ride is called "Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh," not "Pooh and Friends." Also, Tigger is way better than Piglet. 14) Mr. Toad - Another surprising omition from the list. Mr. Toad's Wild Ride might not be in Magic Kingdom anymore, but he's still fondly remembered, and they even made a Wishable of him (from the Disneyland 65th Anniversary set, but whatever). 15) Maleficent (Dragon) - The first of my statues that's not for an attraction, but a show (okay, Philharmagic is kinda a show, but shush). And she's also considered the "leader" of all of the Disney Villains, who are not represented at all in the official list, which I think is a shame. Sure, we all love the heroes, but who would those heroes be without their villains? 16) Face Clock - The only non-character in my list, the Face Clock is iconic enough for the World's Fair-turned-park ride. Because if you picked one of the dolls, which doll would you pick?! 17) Elliot - I've never seen the Main Street Electrical Parade myself (unless it was when I was 5), but I'd recognize the dragon float from Pete's Dragon anywhere. Bonus points if they could do the statue in such a way that it looked like the float, too. 18) Tinkerbell - The last of the revealed statues, Tinkerbell has come to represent Disney magic, both within and outside the parks, just as much as Mickey. Officially representing Peter Pan's Flight, I'd like to think that she also represents the Castle, like in the company card at the start of the movies. 19) Jose, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz - Yes, I know I've been trying to avoid "wasting" slots with multi-character statues, but... How could you pick just one of the Enchanted Tiki Room birds?! 20) Cheshire Cat - Cheshire and Mad Hatter both made the list (as separate statues), but I feel that Alice in Wonderland can be represented by Cheshire on his own. Plus, cat. 21) Boo - Monster's Inc Laugh Floor is an attraction that I wish was at DLR, so I could go on it, but even better than Sulley or Mike is the adorable Boo. 22) Jimminy Cricket - Yet another surprising omition from the list, Jimminy is almost as iconic to Disney Magic as Tinkerbell is. The official list has Pinocchio, but Jimminy is so much more "Disney" in general than Pinocchio. 23) Dopey - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train represent, as well as Disney's first animated feature. EPCOT 24) Donald Duck, Jose, and Panchito - Mickey's other best friend, here represented with the other two of the Three Caballeros, as represented in the Gran Fiesta Tour ride in the Mexico Pavillion. Like with the other members of the Fab 6, I chose to put him in an attraction outfit, and since I did, the other two had to come along for the ride. 25) Figment - Journey to Imagination (or whatever the current name of the attraction is) might be "meh" as a ride, but everyone loves Figment. Even Disney, who included him. 26) Olaf - I love Bruni. Bruni is probably my favorite character from all of Frozen. But Bruni isn't even named in the movie, he doesn't need to be on a statue. Olaf can represent Frozen Ever After by himself. 27) Remy - I'm shocked that Remy's not on the official list, given that his ride [officially] opens on the first day of the 50th Celebration, and represents the future of the parks. 28) Orange Bird - OB is on the official list, though in MK rather than EPCOT. All of the merch and such I've seen for him has been for the EPCOT festivals, so I'm sticking him here. 29) Rocket Racoon and Groot - Another statue to look to the future, for whenever Cosmic Rewind opens. Also, unlike the official statue, we are not using the realistic style from the official statue. The fur on Rocket looks so bad. Nah, instead we'll do him smooth, like the cartoons. 30) Mushu - Mushu was left out of the live action Mulan movie, but he's designed after traditional Chinese dragons, so let's put him over by the China Pavilion. 31) Marie - Did you really think that this list was not going to have my favorite character on it? I mean, really? Plus, we've got THREE mice/rats on the list, AND a dog, so we need another cat. Hollywood Studios 32) Minnie Mouse - And here we have the last of the Fab 6, Mickey's gal Minnie! Why is she in Hollywood Studios? Because she's representing Tower of Terror, wearing a cute outfit, of course! 33) DJ-R3X - Remember all those Fab 6 characters representing multiple characters? Yeah, R3X here is doing the same. Not only is DJ-R3X the DJ at Oga's Cantina in Galaxy's Edge, but he was originally RX-24, the pilot for the original version of Star Tours. Much better representation than BB-8 or R2-D2 from the official list. 34) Kermit the Frog - One of the more offensive omitions from the official list. MuppetVision3D is great fun, and the Muppets don't get nearly enough love, even with the Haunted Mansion special coming. 35) Chuuby - Okay, so sue me, I'm obsessed with the little merchandising bird. He's just too cute. 36) Woody and Buzz Lightyear - I know the official statue is Woody and Bo-Peep. But I haven't seen Toy Story 4 (or 3), so I want Buzz there. Disney's Animal Kingdom 37) Chip and Dale - Ya gotta have the little buddies! And who better to be wearing cute little Wilderness Explorer outfits? 38) The Yeti - So, the real Yeti might not work in Expedition Everest, but that doesn't mean he shouldn't be represented as a statue! Just make sure it's not realistic fur like that horrible Rocket statue. Stylized only! 39) Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa - Simba is separate from his friends in the official statue, but the trio (Simba as a child) should stick together. Festival of the Lion King is amazing to watch. You'll note a few things on my list: 1) There are no princesses. This was a specific omition on my part. The princesses have their own line of stuff, and are fairly over-used as it is. I wanted to get away from that. 2) As I mentioned with the Pirate Dog, I wanted to avoid realistic human characters. They either look good, or they don't. And I wanted a bit more of a similar style to everything, hence why I'm noting that Rocket should be done in the cartoon style, and the Yeti should be stylized. 3) Everything is tied into an attraction, land, or Disney Magic. Nothing is there solely from a movie. 4) My list only has 3 statues more than the official list. 5) For reference, here are the characters that are on the official list that are missing from mine: Timothy the Mouse (with Dumbo) Piglet (with Winnie the Pooh) Bruni (with Olaf) Bo-Peep (with Woody) Lumiere and Cogsworth Mad Hatter Pinocchio Gus and Jaq Lady and Tramp Abu Dante Miguel Pua and Hei-Hei Joe Gardener Edna Mode Frozone R2-D2 BB-8 Sebastian and Flounder Nemo and Dory Bambi and Thumper Of these, there are no major parks connections for Lumiere and Cogsworth, Lady and Tramp, Dante, Miguel, Pua and Hei-Hei (yet), Joe Gardener, Edna, and Frozone. Edna and Frozone especially bother me, as they're not even the main characters. Why couldn't we get a Jack-Jack instead? And Mr. Mittens and 22 over Joe Gardener? 6) And, finally, here are my statues that are new to my list: Sonny Eclipse Merlin and Archmedes Genie Pirate Dog Big Al Madame Leota Mr. Toad Maleficent Face Clock Elliot Jose, Michael, Pierre, and Fritz Boo Jimminy Cricket Dopey Remy Mushu Marie DJ-R3X Kermit the Frog Chuuby Buzz Lightyear The Yeti

Top Ten Heroes pt. 2
Srry for making this into two parts I just had to finish other stuff! Like last time there will be manga spoilers so you have been warned!
Number 3 mystery hero
Ok this one was just kinda a free spot from poor planning but they could go anywhere really. I was actually thinking about putting on of the big three there but I thought it'd by way to soon. Also, the probability that we've met all the new top ten members was unlikely. We also don't know many heroes after the top ten soooo free spot!
Number 10 Gang Orca or Lion
I did two possibles for the number ten spot mainly bc idk if Gang Orca is alive or not. Since I believe the Gang Orca used to be ranked tenth I didn't think it'd be that far of a stretch. Then with Lion (nan I hope im getting his name right) I think he's ranked eleventh so he's the backup. One thing I like about what these two could do for the top ten is that they can represent people with mutant quirks. Now, ik there's hawks and miruko with this kinda quick, but they look human with animal characteristics. While Gang Orca looks more animal with human characteristics. So other people with quirks like Gang Orcas have a bit of representation.
Number 9 Mt. Lady
Ok do I really need to explain this one? Like for real, she was a MVP this arc! Her holding back giganumatia was no small feat! Especially since she was being dragged and thrown around. Then no matter how many times she was tossed, SHE KEPT ON GETTING UP!! Now THAT sound like a hero move! The only reason she stopped going on the offensive is bc she was knocked out. And I'll say unlike other heroes in this arc, she was NOT done dirty! Ik at first she was a flawed hero just trying to make money and get famous, but I think she's really changed throughout the series. Her development I think along with the giganumatia fight and rumors of her dating kamui, was one of the reasons she moved up. If it weren't for the development, even with the other factors she probably only moved up a little bit. I believe that she can prove and give hope that people can change with time. Which could possibly save Endeavors reputation!
Number 8 Wash
Unlike Mt. Lady I don't have much to say about Wash. He was at the raid and was saving people so he does get bounce points for the. The main reason I didn't move him at all was bc I feel like he's hero rank is mainly based off of popularity and the way thay hero society is going... eeeeee.
Number 7 Yori Mushu
I don't have much to say about him either besides the fact he was at the raid and he use to be in the top three. He also seems old and he brings up the flawed system. A lot of old people probably like him even in the current state of Japan.
Number 6 Ryukyu
Ok if I didn't do anything else with her rank I had to at least have her rank higher than a washing machine. Again she was not only at the raid, but also helped take down shiggy so that was a big booster. Not to mention she save a considerable amount of people from shiggy's decay wave. Considering how tight of a space that was for her to be, I think that's really impressive. Even though she didn't do much physical damage to shiggy, the people she saved did. I also like to think she's a hero that not many people dislike. For starters, she's humble, good with kids, able to point out her mistake (ig that's pretty much the same as being humble) selfless, trusting of others, and A FRICKIN DRAGON! I MEAN, HOW COULD YOU HATE A SWEAT HUMBLE DRAGON! She probably feels like she made the same "mistake" that she during the overhaul arc with not being able save more lives. I feel like Crust's death was really hard on her. I really wish we saw more of her this arc; unlike mt. lady, she was pretty duped this arc.
Number 5 Hawks
I don't think I have to explain why he was in the top three heroes and that he was in the raid. If it wasn't for his friendly interaction with Twice. Compared to the todoroki drama and heroes killing when it's needed isn't a new idea, not too many people were that mad at him.
Im sorry to split this into a third part but it's getting late so it will be up soon! Srry!🙏🏻

For any Potter heads. Some things that bothered you about the Harry Potter films:
- Where is Charlie Weasley?
- Where is Peeves?
- Where are Neville’s parents?
- The green/blue/brown eye thing. (This is not against Radcliffe. Some special effects could have fixed this easily)
- HarrY DiD YOu PuT YoUR NaMe IN tHe GoBlET of FIRE?! 🔥
- In Sorcerers Stone, Why did you change the snake at the zoos breed??
- “Voldemort” versus “Voldemor”. The silent t.
- Hermione’s. Yule. Ball. Dress. Color. Blue. Not pink. She specifically changed the color.
- Fluffy. Hagrid’s adorable Cerberus was originally bought from a Greek man. Why change it to Irish? I like Ireland but it was a Greek man due to where Cerberus’s initially came from right???
- Harry’s first Weasley sweater color
- Why does Harry only see his parents in the Mirror of Eirsed? Where’s the rest of the family?
- The Underage magic rules aren’t well explained in the movies making the 3rd year summons even more bonkers sounding
- The Patil Twins Yule Ball Outfits. They could have been soooo beautiful. Like this is the Yule Ball! The Twins would have (in my opinion) much more elaborate traditional Indian styled dress robes?? Idk.
- Love Movie Hermione! But some moments take away from Ron. Like when Ron defended her in the Chamber of Secrets. Hermione didn’t know what the slur “Mudblood” meant in the books. Ron had to explain it.
- Dobby needed more screen time. Some stuff Dobby did went to Neville because so many Neville scenes were cut.
- Where’s all the secrecy from the books when communicating with Sirius- “Snuffles”? Something Harry’s godfather insisted on to keep him safe.
- Snape’s title of “The half-blood Prince” is not explained. Neither is it made clear that Severus was also abused horribly at home throughout his childhood. Also that like Harry Dumbledore did nothing to help Severus when he was a student. (Or maybe Tom Riddle when he grew up in an orphanage. I’m sensing a pattern)
- Dumbledore should have still spelled Harry during Dumbledore death scene. No way would Harry just stand there if given the choice.
- Ron was not quite as ‘dumb’ in the books and a lot of his funny moments were cut from the movie. Which makes his jealousy moments all the more unbecoming. He also comes off a bit more arrogant in the movies. (This is not against R Grint. Who is awesome) The movies gave Ron the short end of the stick.
- Weasley/Malfoy Fued. Who else wanted to see Arthur and Lucius have a fist fight in a bookstore? Exactly.
- Albus Dumbledore isn’t all Sunshine and Daisys. He does some really messed up stuff yet no one ever seems to question this.
- Remus was the last Marauder. Yet his and his wife, Tonk’s, deaths are barley acknowledged.
- Also Teddy. Harry’s Godson.
- Harry’s and Ginnys relationship is not built on. It’s just there. Ugh. Heck Movie Ginny isn’t that great. You don’t know much about her except: She’s the only girl in Ron’s family. She’s the youngest Weasley. She’s obsessed with Harry. She’s a good Quidditch player. She has a temper. She was possessed by Riddle’s Dairy when she was eleven. She’s obsessed with Harry.
- Draco is essentially Harry’s antithesis. Where is he in some critical scenes in the movies?
- Where’s the Luna love???? Harry’s pretty rude to her in some scenes.
- There is no S.P.E.W. And Hermione’s more ruthless side is gone.
- The guys hair in The Goblet of Fire. Get a hair cut. Please.
- Some of Molly’s less than Stellar Moments. (Ex. When she believed rumors about Hermione and so treated he coldly. How horrible she was to Fleur. Ect)
- Fleur. Fleur and Bill still get married but the objections to the wedding aren’t as presented in the movies. Not is Molly’s and Ginny’s extreme dislike of Fleur. Or when Arthur apologizes to Fleur. Or really any of Fleurs best moments. The whole courting process is skipped.
- House Elves. The House Elves of Hogwarts.
- Percy Weasley. The ‘betrayal’. The returned Weasley sweater. Him turning to protect his family and fight for Hogwarts at the last minute. All gone. Which involves being forgiven by the Weasley Twins not an hour before Fred dies.
- The connection of the Black sisters. Specifically Adromeda - mother of Tonks. Who is Sirius cousin. Who married Remus Lupin. Tonks and Remus the parents of Teddy.
- Dean Thomas is pretty much gone.
- Rita Skeeter. Illegal Animagus. Hermione kept her in a jar.
- The movies didn’t allow Radcliffe to be sassy and sarcastic enough. Harry Potter is one of the sassiest boys to ever walk through the halls of Hogwarts!
- Harry didn’t fix his wand in the last movie.
- The history of the Marauders.
- The history explaining why Snape could never be comfortable around and trust Remus Lupin.

Hi again! Can I have a fairytale ship with ATEEZ and Twice this time please?
Tumblr media
I'm an ENFP/INFP depending on my mood. I'm a Sagittarius and born in the year of the Snake. I love to eat and read. My sleep schedule is practically non-existent and my social skills are terrible. But around people I'm comfortable with, I'm the loudest in the room. I love to make people laugh and often am the one to make jokes and pranks. My laugh itself varies a lot. "Windscreen wiper to dolphin to yeeting backwards" is how my friends describe it. I am also extremely blunt and honest with my opinions.

Tumblr media
Your Fairy Tale style/story was created like: Hercules
You're a: Human raised by fairies
Your prince: Mingyu
Your female best friend: Jihyo
Your ending: Like in the Princess and the Pea
Your story: Once upon a time there was a girl who was raised by fairies. She wanted an adventure, so she ran away. On her way she met a little dragon named Mushu. He helped her out a lot. The two of them came along a man named Hades, he held a woman named Jihyo captive. A prince named Mingyu came along and helped them rescuing Jihyo. Jihyo was very thankful and asked them if they knew the way to Atlantis. Mingyu knew the way so he led them to Atlantis. In Atlantis a woman named Kida thanked everyone for saving her sister Jihyo. She told the three of them if they ever needed help they could ask Atlantis. After Jihyo was gone the girl didn't know where to go, so the prince asked her to come with him to his castle. Mushu went back to his family and friends. They went to his castle, but his mother wouldn't let the girl in. The girl pleaded to be let inside since she couldn't return to the fairies. The mother agreed to let her stay if she would pass a test. The girl agreed and went to sleep on a bed with 20 mattresses on. The next day the girl complained that she slept unwell because of a hard something underneath all those mattresses. The mother was very happy and told her that she was a real princess. The girl was overwhelmed and happy to stay at the castle. She and the prince got married soon. They went on to live in Maldonia. The End
I hope you like your ship ❤️
Feel free to request more !
Thanks for requesting ;)

name : Han Zilong
hàn (悍) fierce
Zi lóng(子龙) Son of the dragon
nicknames : Dragon, Crimson, meh jus call him Zilong
gender : Male
birthday : October 13
age : 17
species : human,
origin : Dragon Isles
>> Children with the dragon's mark are born in every generation of the Han bloodline. It's usually just one, but on some occasion, there will be more than one child with the mark. They will have the ability to shapeshift into a dragon and along with the duty to protect the Dragon Isles.
After 3 daughters and one son, Jiāngjūn, the current leader/king, felt hopeless as none of them had the dragon's mark until Zilong was born.
Jiāngjūn was ecstastic upon his son's birth and was ready to announce him next in line...however, another dragon was born. Zilong's sister, Yu, also had the dragon's mark.
The king wanted to be fair. The two were raised and trained until the day for them to prove their abilities came.
But there was a problem...Zilong's dragon form was relatively smaller and weaker than Yu's.
That day, he lost his right to the throne and gained the disapproval of many.
"You're not only weaker than your sisters. Even your dragon is weak."
family : Jiāngjūn (Father), mother, 3 older sisters, 1 older brother and Yu (younger sister)
based off : Mushu from Mulan
physical
height : 184cm
eyes : yellow/gold
hair : long, red hair that's usually tied in a ponytail with a blue ribbon/hair tie with strands of a lighter color hanging loose on both side of his face.
Scars/markings: Several scars around his body because of training and a mole near his left eye. And the dragon mark on the side of his torso
Personality:
>> He puts a confident and smug front around people. Might get a little flirty from time to time and comes off as an arrogant prick but he's a big dum dum and is actually the one easy to fluster.
>> He's strict when training or sparring and will not ever hold back on someone. He might throw a few harsh words or comments but he means well and just want them to improve.
>> Will not hesitate to do anything to achieve what he wants. Sometimes he ends up doing a lot of wrong things that hurts others, give him time or confront him to tell him his mistakes and he will think it over. He will apologize if needed and does his best to get better.
likes : power, training, having someone play with his hair (no he will not admit to this and only lets a few people to do this--), noodles, spicy food, instruments
dislikes : being weak and compared to his sister, overly seeet food, coffee, falling off horses
school / stats
dormitory : Khanzao (@conquer-the-raven)

performance :
>> He has fairly good grades and rarely fails his subjects. He doesn't put much effort in his academics though. Sometimes he misses classes and club meetings because he's busy practicing his dragn form.
 best / worst classes :
   ➳ best : Ancient Curses
➳ worst : Potions
Club: Horse Riding
>> He joined the club...because he wants to get better in riding horses. It is worth mentioning, that he sucks at it. He managed to fall 57 times on his horse back home, named Innovator. He tries. And it's hilarious to watch him.
Unique magic: Deafening Echo
>> when his unique magic is activated, his claps will release a loud booming sound resembling that of a thousand gongs. A protection magic over the ears could be used to deflect the effects of his unique magic.
Stats:
int : 9 / 10
magic : 7 / 10
agility : 8 / 10
strength : 8 / 10
loyalty : 8 / 10
stamina : 6 / 10
dex : 7 / 10
Dragon form: (excuse the coloring, I got lazy and I've never drawn animals a lot before so--)
"Come forth, Crimson Dragon!"
>> He has the ability to transform/shapeshift into a dragon at will. The dragon's color varies on each vessel.
>> He can breathe fire, yes. Dragon form or not, the fire just gets bigger as a dragon. But the ability to fly is reserved only for his dragon form.

To get it out of the way, I didn’t drop a dime on Disney to watch the new Mulan movie, but I have seen it.
The TL;DR, non-spoiler review is, when you compare it to the original animated movie, it’s about a 3/10, but when you judge it as it’s own movie, I think it’s about a 7/10.
Pre-post edit: Before I wrote everything below (which is filled w/ spoilers btw so be warned), I wanted to give this a 7/10 on it’s own merit w/o comparing it to the original, but after really examining the message of this version it’s really difficult to give it a 7/10, so I’ll say 5/10.
It’s not a bad movie, I just think the message it sends is kind of fucked up and a huge 180 from the original, which I know I said I wouldn’t compare it to, and I’m not, but just objectively the messages are contrasting.
The movie isn’t actually that bad, it’s just different and similar in very odd ways. The whole movie felt really conflicted over whether to make it it’s own thing separate from the original, and whether to make it a 1:1 copy of the original. Put into words, I think it just had a bit of an identity crisis.
Some aspects of the movie that they changed from the original don’t immediately make it clear why they were changed, which leads me to believe they wanted to make it it’s own thing, but then they threw in clear scenes that were from the original, and evidently the movie is called Mulan, so clearly they didn’t shy away from that.
Some of the changes made sense. It’s very obvious they wanted to try and go for a “more serious” tone for the film. This is likely why there’s no singing which is the biggest missing feature, but also likely why Mulan is missing her humor from the original, and why her grandmother isn’t in this, and obviously Eddie Murphey’s Mushu and the Cricket. This movie isn’t funny, and it’s not supposed to be, which is fine.
The changes that didn’t make immediate sense to me though were small changes, such as changing her family name from Fa to Hua, or even changing her fake name from Ping to Jun, or the Huns to the Rourons, or the family worshiping a Phoenix instead of a Dragon, or giving her a younger sister, etc. Very small minor changes which don’t ultimately change anything of the film or plot itself so ultimately aren’t a huge deal but then why change them? This is what I mean when I say it seems like they wanted to make this movie their own thing...but also the same.
The scenes they decided to recreate weren’t obviously 1:1, but I think they did a pretty decent job. The Matchmaker scene happens. The lake scene happens. They soldiers talk about what they look for in a woman and all say relatively the same things. Those were pretty cool scenes.
Hands down, the instrumental version of Reflection was the best ever. They used it a couple times and every time I get chills cause I was just fangasming over it. Really minor detail, but fuck was it awesome to hear nonetheless.
The action was actually pretty well choreographed I thought. It really reminded me of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon with the sort of flying through the air, running on walls, etc.
The actor they got to play the villain, Bori Khan (also different from the original), looks identical to the animated Shan Yu. Like as identical as a real human being can be to an animated character. I honestly thought that was perfect casting. I don’t recognize him, or 99% of the actors in this (honestly the only one I recognized at all was the general from Rogue One), but he was great.
Some of the more major changes were...a bit hit or miss. This movie evidently focuses a bit on what they call Chi, which is kinda magic but also kinda not magic? It all gets vaguely Disney-explained but Mulan’s Chi just makes her a pretty decent acrobatic fighter. The enemy “witch” uses Chi to straight up transform into a hawk or a swarm of bats among other things, but she’s sort of implied to be more advanced with Chi than Mulan is so that’s okay I guess. The Emperor also has Chi and he briefly uses it to...make some fabric defy the laws of physics briefly I guess.
The part about the Chi that bothered me slightly was how they used it to reinforce this sense of otherness about Mulan. Obviously Mulan has always been about a girl defying social norms to save her father and to bring honor to her family and country, but in this version Mulan has Chi, and girls aren’t supposed to have Chi. Only boys can have Chi, and women with Chi are seen as witches and are usually exiled. This is the story behind the bad “witch”, she was exiled for having strong Chi.
The reason why this felt like an issue is because it sort of takes away the fact that Mulan is “just a girl” infiltrating a male-dominated space to defy social norms and do what only men are “allowed” and “capable” of doing. Instead, she’s some pseduo Jedi-like character with abilities that not only show her as more capable than the men, but also not like other women.
So whereas in the original you could point to Mulan as an example and say “See, women can do what men can do” you can’t do the same in this movie because this Mulan actually has something that makes her special and unique that not every woman might have. To use another Star Wars reference, Chi is quite literally the Midichlorians of Mulan. Whereas before any woman could do what she could do, now only some women like Mulan can do what she did.
Another weird aspect was I guess the message of the movie. Like, people say this movie was made for China and uh...yeah, the message of this movie kiiiiinda proves that.
Throughout the training parts, the General emphasizes the virtues they all live by which are engraved on everyone’s swords: “Loyal. Brave. True.” and the conflict stems from the fact that Mulan isn’t being true by hiding her identity, which is why she’s failing as a soldier and I guess a human being and it’s only after she embraces who she is that she starts kicking ass.
There’s also the scene at the very beginning with the Emperor, like in the original, where the soldier tells him about the invaders approaching. In the original, the Emperor was a very kind and caring old man who cared more about his people than anything else. Evidently, they tried to like...make it more realistic or something, I guess, so in this the Emperor doesn’t really seem to care about his people, and he keeps emphasizing in that scene and throughout the movie that they need to “protect the dynasty” which was just weirdly loyalist.
And then of course the end where they’re supposed to repeat the message of the film, the part you’re supposed to take away which is...”devotion to family”. That, along with the previous two things I mentioned, really make this movie feel like a 180 from the original. Whereas the original was about a woman defying social norms to be protect her father and bring honor to her family, this one felt more like a woman defending her country and vaguely reinforcing those social norms...?
Perhaps I misinterpreted, I don’t know. I just thought it was weirdly the opposite message the original sent.

Yang Longwei
Tumblr media
Name: Yang Longwei
Age: 18
Species: Human
Aliases: Fire Breathing Dragon of the North,
Birthday: November 27th
Star Sign: Sagittarius
Height: 5’
Year: 3
Occupation: Student
Origin: The hills and temples of Magnolia
Personality: Mischievous, jealous, loud, energetic
Dorm: Shundain @briarrosescurse
Twisted from: Mushu
Quote: “There’s a certain beauty in watching the world burn from the center of the flames”
First, that nickname of heres relates to one thing and it’s not even something related to fighting or magic, she’s just really good at eating spicy food. The restaurant in her “home town” has spicy food eating competitions and she won every time. Anyway, Yang is very flexible and a gymnast of sorts. She’s well experienced in martial arts. She may be small but she’s mighty. Although she’s a bit lazy at times.
Yang likes to adventure and consequently goes missing for days at a time sometimes, she gets curious. She’s just out the door, doesn’t know where she’s goin but she’s goin.
The reason I said “home town” is because she moved around a lot. Her father left and her mother died in a fire so she was in a lot of foster homes, never stayed long though. Some were better then others but she could stay put long. She bounced around foster homes because none of her family members would take her reason being she was the suspect of her mother’s death. She happened to have an affinity to fire magic and well, as previously mention her mother died in a fire. Everyone thinks she didn’t it but she swears on her life she didn’t.
