HOW FATAL IS YOUR GOOD OMENS BRAINROT ? a checklist
Give yourself a point for everything that applies to you.
LEVEL 1 [ ] I have seen both seasons.
[ ] I can name at least one character that isn’t Aziraphale or Crowley.
[ ] I know that Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman wrote the book. Points: [ ] of 3
---
LEVEL 2 [ ] I have seen both seasons more than once.
[ ] I know I can write “Aziraphale” without spelling it wrong. Bonus point if you have actually written the name anywhere, for any reason.
[ ] I have had a conversation about Good Omens with a person outside of the internet in the last 3 months. Points: [ ] of 3 + [ ] bonus points --- LEVEL 3 [ ] I experienced any negative feeling beyond "ouch, that sucks for them!" after the ending of season 2.
[ ] I have looked up anything related to Good Omens, Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Michael Sheen or David Tennant in the last 3 months.
[ ] I know what #payyourwriters refers to.
[ ] I have had at least one (1) thought about Crowley or Aziraphale (or both). Bonus point if you told anyone (Tumblr counts).
[ ] I read the book before the show came out. Points: [ ] of 5 + [ ] bonus points ---
LEVEL 4 [ ] I have seen both seasons more than three times and some scenes more than that.
[ ] Somebody watched Good Omens because of me. One extra point for each additional person!
[ ] I catch myself thinking about Good Omens when I should be thinking about other things.
[ ] I have listened to Queen more than I usually do during the last 3 months.
[ ] I have read or listened to the book (don’t have to have read/heard all of it for 1 point) after season 1. Points: [ ] of 5 + [ ] bonus points ---
LEVEL 5 [ ] I have analyzed the lyrics of most of the songs and experienced moving emotions.
[ ] I have either made a new account or revived an unused account somewhere ONLY to browse Good Omens related media. One bonus point for each additional new/renewed account. (Renewed = you haven't touched it in at least 2 years)
[ ] I have watched at least 5 videos on YouTube about Good Omens.
[ ] I no longer blush while reading fics.
[ ] I have a stash of saved images on my phone/IG account/Pinterest/other I would very much not like anyone to see.
[ ] I have made any game character look like characters from the show. Three bonus points if you googled 'south downs cottages' while playing The Sims. Points: [ ] of 6 + [ ] bonus points ---
LEVEL 6 [ ] I have genuine, tangible heartbreak due to Good Omens, and I have experienced heartbreak before - so I know what it feels like. (Friend/platonic/aro heartbreaks count, ofc.)
[ ] I have shared my support for the strikers multiple times.
[ ] I know more than I’d like to know about the anatomy of male snakes.
[ ] I have published Good Omens related media - fics, artwork, big metas (spent more than three hours researching/writing it), music, videos. Bonus point if this happened on a recently created or renewed account.
[ ] I have had dreams about something Good Omens-related. If this was a spicy dream, collect 3 extra points.
[ ] Things that shouldn’t remind me of the show, reminds me of the show. (Flies, clocks, ducks, classical music, drinking coffee, anything related to England, biblical references, etc.)
[ ] I have a set of beliefs and theories that I stick to - example: coffee theory, body swap theory, Crowley is Raphael, etc. Bonus point if any of these are genuinely from your own head.
[ ] I have a favorite Crowley (Bildaddy?).
[ ] I have listened to other people’s Good Omens themed playlists/music on YouTube or Spotify. Points: [ ] of 9 points + [ ] bonus points ---
LEVEL 7 [ ] I have experienced a spike in learning/skill after watching the show. (Read Shakespeare, history, philosophy, books mentioned, shown or referenced l, learned or improved a craft and any other neuron connection boosting activity).
[ ] I have experienced an increase in my preferred destructive coping mechanism after watching the show, but I’d rather have it this way than not having watched it.
[ ] I have been sad that I am not an immortal, celestial being fighting for the opportunity to finally be with my soulmate and lover, another immortal, celestial being forced to work for a rival oppressive government, after 6000 years of queer yearning and forbidden desire. I have been sad that I - due to human life expectancy, at the very least - can NOT experience such love. Ever.
[ ] Good Omens has affected my sexuality (kinks, roleplay, thoughts, type of desired partner, etc.)
[ ] I know what the archangel Michael’s ring looks like, and what it’s modeled after.
[ ] I have made my own playlist with music reminding me of Good Omens.
[ ] I have had trouble sleeping because I thought about my fic narrative (even if I haven’t started writing it yet), unfinished drawing, video idea or similar.
[ ] I can, with worrying accuracy, correctly guess the episode when watching a scene from the show.
[ ] I read an insane amount of layered theories and possible references and so on, into every word said by Aziraphale and Crowley, to the point where watching is difficult because I get so many fan theories in my head I have to write down.
[ ] I want to travel to London. Bonus point if you already have been to London pre-brainrot and hated it. If you live in London, you get a point if Good Omens made you visit Soho even though you know it wasn’t filmed there. If you live in Soho, you get a point if you've been to the South Downs because of Good Omens.
[ ] I have thought of or prepared a Good Omens costume for Halloween. Bonus point if you have already found a reason to wear it. Bonus point if you wear it casually. Bonus point if the costume is inconspicuous enough that you can go to work/school without it being too weird. Bonus point if, when wearing your costume, you sat on a bench on purpose. Points: [ ] of 11 + [ ] bonus points --- INSANE LEVEL [ ] I have been a fan of the book since 1990. [ ] I read queerness into the book independently (be honest). [ ] I have made money creating Good Omens-anything. [ ] I have met and/or talked to Neil Gaiman/Terry Pratchett(RIP)/the actors outside of social media (mail and cons count, Tumblr does not) specifically about the book or later, the show. [ ] I have hosted a Good Omens themed event (wedding, birthday party, con, baby shower, etc). One point for each event.
[ ] The amount of text I’ve written (fics, metas, song lyrics, poems, whatever) is equal to or greater than the amount of text in the book. Points: [ ] of 6 + [ ] bonus points --- GOD'S FAVORITE-LEVEL [ ] Michael Sheen retweeted you or referenced something of yours in any way. This one is worth 25 lazerii, which is more than all the other points combined. You only need this one checked to have 100% fatal Good Omens brainrot. --- Total points: [ ] of 48 + [ ] bonus points = [ ] points SCORE 1 - 3 points: Why did you take this test? Go do something better with your life, you don't belong here. Enjoy your freedom, the lightness in your heart and the fresh breeze upon your unbothered, youthful face. 3 - 6 points: I bet you still know how to feel happiness. It's still time, you can turn this around. I suggest you just leave this now, and come back whenever you see an ad for season 3. Let yourself be happy in the meantime. 6 - 16 points: You've ventured into dangerous territory, but none of your loved ones have realized you have a problem yet. And you might not... The lines are blurred here. You can still come off as an adjusted person when you talk about the show or anything related to it. 16 - 23 points: A scan of your brain reveals that almost 20% of your prefrontal cortex has rotted away. Friends and family have a negative kneejerk reaction to any mention of Good Omens related subjects. You spend most of your free time on your phone, browsing Good Omens media. The only possible cure at this point, would be a new hyperfixation. 23 - 36 points: 33 % of your total brain volume has been affected. The rot has infected almost every area, and trying to introduce any unrelated hyperfixation causes anxiety, confusion and depression. Doctors are baffled to discover that there is a fungi growing from the rot - it seems to connect with your brain, allowing for an extreme learning curve should you hyperfixate on any subject in any way related to Good Omens. If you ever wanted to read up on Shakespeare, this would be the time to do that. 36 - 48 points: 89% of your brain is affected by rot and mostly replaced by fungi - the only uninfected areas are the reptilian brain (the words 'reptilian brain' reminded you of Crowley) and the medulla, which means it hasn't affected your breathing and your instinctive reactions. You still flinch when cars almost hit you, as you wander aimlessly roadside - lost in thoughts about Good Omens. 48 - ?? points: I'm here if you need to talk. No therapist will understand this without labeling it as a severe breach with reality. (I mean, excuse me - the show is right there on Amazon Prime, it’s real.) The medical field is far behind, years and years will go by before they recognize your diagnosis; 100% fatal Good Omens brainrot. It controls your breathing, your heart rate - everything. This condition is fatal because it lasts until you die, and then you'll have a Good Omens themed funeral. 25 lazerii: How does it feel to be loved by God?

Price-editing friendly version of Monique's computer
Tumblr media
I don't know about any of you, but I love changing the costs of things in my game to make money have more of an impact on the game. I enjoy my Sims having a reason to work and run businesses, so I have a lot of mods and edits that alter the prices of things. Earlier this summer I realized Monique's computer was not impacted by a lot of global changes, and I set out to change the costs for my own use. I thought perhaps more people would enjoy being able to easily change costs, and in the process of doing all the different options I had more ideas and learned new skills that made it possible to add a few other details. And that is what I have on offer for you today :)
Features
Most shop and delivery options rewritten to pull pricing from BCON 1002
Set to original pricing currently, intended to be easy to edit, not to push my preferences on you
Broken jewelry shop has been fixed, it was not set up right which is why it only charged 1 simoleon for jewelry. Set to 49 now like the jewelry stand, but can be changed through BCON 1002
Menu made more dynamic, displaying price tags based on BCON 1002 settings, and in some cases picking up on and displaying default replacements and correct language string for non-english installations (applies to electronic gadgets, produce, fish, robots, vacation maps)
Tutorial included to help you understand how to edit BCON if you are unfamiliar
Download from simfileshare (alternative version with crystal ball dating added can be found here)
Includes the three computers Chaavik posted in his AL update of Monique's original computer. Mostly of use to those who want to change prices, but if the jewelry shop or english object names has been bothering you then there is that as well :) You still need the other files named "MQ_Computer...", which you can get here if you do not have them. For more in depth information, please see the document file included in the zip.
Credits: Monique and Chaavik for the object I edited, whoward69/picknmix for all his knowledge of code and help, takasims2k5 for the laptop mesh Chaavik used, Klaartje for helping me test, omgsims2 for the cellphone default that appears in thumbnail, vegan kaktus for the handheld game default that appears in thumbnail

It was such a looooong ass first generation but I have a feeling I used this time well. It's quite rare for me to grow that sort of attachement to my sims, to be excited for something every time I open the game (that was also the reason I restarted the lepacy in the first place) but with Robin I had it all. Now I'm thrilled to start a new generation with her son Finley with no regrets and having a sense of accomplishment. I mean, just look at all these things we managed to do:
i. Doctor, Doctor Please! [Medical] 🩺
• Start/Move to Sunset Valley ✓ • Have the Good and/or Genius trait ✓ • Join Medical Career ✓ • Always wash your hands after using the bathroom ✓ • Give sim medical advice ✓ • Reach the top of the Medical Career ✓ • Master Logic skill ✓ • Determine the baby’s sex for a sim parent ✓ • Befriend all co-workers ✓ • Befriend boss ✓ • Vaccinate 10 sims ✓ • Complete the LTW 'World Renowned Surgeon’ ✓

+Bonus+ ⛑
Woohoo service sim ✓
Get child with hidden trait ✓
Resurrect sim (Create Ambrosia) OR create playable ghost ✓

Total: 103 See you in generation 2 👋

Packsploration Legacy Challenge
by @emilieplayssims
(Originally created on April 13, 2022)
(Last Updated: October 19, 2023)
GOOGLE DOC WITH UP TO DATE RULES HERE
DISCLAIMER: As of the last update the challenge has only been playtested up to Gen 4 as I’m still working my way through it; as such, the later generations might be unbalanced. If you notice that some requirements are too easy or too hard to achieve, please let me know!
If you’re like me, you tend to collect Sims packs, and sure, you use the CAS and Build items but you go on playing the game like you’re used to, barely even looking at the new gameplay the packs just unlocked.
In this challenge, each of the 16 generations explores 1-3 packs so you can get familiar with gameplay aspects you might have never used.
I know the Not So Berry challenge was built similarly, but a lot of packs came out since its creation, and the packs are spread out across the generations instead of each generation exploring one pack.
This challenge uses all expansion packs; all game packs except for StrangerVille, Journey to Batuu, and My Wedding Stories; and the Paranormal and Nifty Knitting Stuff Packs.
My reasoning for this is that StrangerVille and Batuu both have their own storyline to playthrough and so the gameplay exploration is built in, while My Wedding Stories can be used for the various weddings you will have throughout the generations and doesn’t really warrant a dedicated generation. (You can pick Tartosa for the 13th generation’s first house, if you wish to play in it.) As for the Stuff Packs, Nifty Knitting and Paranormal are the ones that offer the most gameplay.
Since each generation is a different pack, it should be easy for you to skip some if you’re missing a pack — you might just have to rework the generation’s backstory to have it make sense.
I hope this challenge might introduce you (and me!) to new ways to play The Sims 4! Have fun!
Basic Rules:
Each heir must move to the specified Home World when they become a Young Adult. If the rules don’t specify a world for that generation, you’re free to live wherever you please.
Each generation must have at least one child (natural birth or adopted) to be the next generation. Other than that, all relationships, weddings, kids, and personal life events are completely up to you, unless otherwise specified.
You can use each generation’s aesthetic as a suggestion for CAS or Build Mode but it is not mandatory
Money cheats can be used, but not excessively. Suggestion: use freerealestate for your first home, but no cheats afterward.
Every generation is supposed to complete both the career and aspiration of the heir unless explicitly stated otherwise.
If more than one aspiration is listed for a generation, that heir must complete all of them.
Keep the lifespan on normal.
Occult generations can either be born occult by having the previous generation find an Occult to mate with, or they can become occult during their lifetime by various means — unless otherwise specified
The offspring of an Occult, if born Occult too, can either stay Occult or become Human by various means.
Gen 1 - Discover University
Welcome to Britechester — the perfect place for young minds like yours who love learning. In fact, you love academia so much that you don’t leave the university, even after graduation. Career: Civil Designer
Aspiration: Eco Innovator
Traits: Green Fiend; Maker; Recycle Disciple
Aesthetic: Mismatched Minimalist
Rules:
Master Fabrication and Juice Fizzing skills
Gen 3 - Island Living
If there’s one thing you learned as a kid, it’s reduce, reuse, recycle. So when you hear about the gorgeous island of Sulani, a tropical paradise that needs a little TLC, you know that’s where you belong. And maybe these crystal clear waters will reveal some new things about you… A mermaid tail, perhaps?
Home World: Sulani
Career: Conservationist

Aesthetic: Island
Occult: Mermaid
Rules:
Must reach level 3 of Clean Environment by performing ecological activities on the island of Mua Pel’am
Must become a Mermaid
Must become Good Friends with a Dolphin
Gen 4 - Outdoor Retreat + Jungle Adventure
You spent your childhood playing outside and discovering one of the most beautiful places in the world. Why would you ever leave? The only thing that can get you off this island is your dream of exploring every secret the world has to offer. Dark woods, exotic jungles, cursed relics — the world is your oyster!
Home World: Sulani
Career: n/a
Aspiration: Outdoor Enthusiast; Jungle Explorer; Archaeology Scholar
Traits: Loner, Noncommittal, Bookworm
Aesthetic: Adventurer
Rules:
Master Herbalism; Selvadoradian Culture; Archaeology skills

Cannot have a Career; can only make money from selling fish they caught, plants they harvested, or various collectibles
Must stay in their childhood home for their entire lifetime, even after their parents passed. (You may redecorate as you wish.)
Gen 5 - City Living
Your childhood was not exactly the clean, stable life you would have picked if you had a choice. Creepy crawlies, sleeping on the ground, outhouses? No thank you. As soon as you’re of age, you leave the not-so-great outdoors behind and move to the big city. Concrete and steel, noisy neighbors, all that hustle and bustle — that’s more like it.
Home World: San Myshuno
Career: Your pick between Social Media or Critic
Aspiration: City Native
Traits: Unflirty, Squeamish, Self-Assured

Cannot have a Career; can only make money from selling what they produce on their farm, as well as anything you can sell on Plopsy
Gen 7 - Cats & Dogs
As far as childhoods go, yours was pretty great, and there’s not a lot you’d change about it. You just wish you weren’t so far away from everything and everyone, and you’re a bit tired of all the responsibilities that come with a farm (all that feeding and cleaning and gardening gets tiresome). A vet clinic in a cozy neighborhood: that’s more your beat. You’re probably gonna surround yourself with just as many pets as your parent did, just, smaller ones.
Home World: Brindleton Bay
Career: n/a
Aspiration: Friend of the Animals

Gen 8 - Get To Work + Parenthood
You’ve always been very inquisitive, with good deduction skills. Everyone has always said you would make a good detective, and you intend to be the best there is. You’re not willing to sacrifice your family life for it, though, which is why you aim to reach the top of your career as soon as possible so you can retire young and dedicate yourself to your family.

You hold all your wonderful childhood memories close to your heart, and you love to make them live on by keeping up family traditions on every holiday.
Home World: Willow Creek
Career: Gardener (Floral Designer Branch)
Aspiration: Lady/Lord of the Knits
Traits: Creative; Romantic; Neat
Aesthetic: Plant Loving Granny
Rules:
Must reach level 5 of Scout before becoming a Young Adult
Master Flower Arranging and Knitting skills
Must celebrate all holidays successfully
Gen 10 - Snowy Escape
Ever since you attended the Festival of Youth in Mount Komorebi, you’ve been really interested in the local culture and you knew you wanted to move there some day. You were an excellent student, and you landed a serious, stable job, all to fulfill your dreams. It’s a lot of pressure, though, so you need an outlet. That’s how you discover extreme sports — the thrill of rushing down a mountain with the wind in your hair is the best antidote to the strict routine of your everyday life.
Home World: Mount Komorebi
Career: Salaryperson
Aspiration: Extreme Sports Enthusiast
Traits: Adventurous, Proper; Active
Aesthetic: Asian Minimalist
Rules:
Master either Skiing or Snowboarding skills

Gen 11 - Get Together + Dream Home Decorator
You’ve always liked being surrounded by people. As a kid you had a ton of friends, and as an adult, you like to go out and party with your pals. You even start a club so you can meet more people who share your love of music, dancing and the nightlife. During the day, however, you use your impeccable sense of style to work as an Interior Decorator. Your personal touch is sought-after all over town.
Home World: Windenburg
Career: Interior Decorator
Aspiration: Leader of the Pack
Traits: Dance Machine, Insider; Music Lover
Aesthetic: Edgy meets Midcentury
Rules:
Master Dancing and DJ Mixing skills
Make a mix tape
Earn an Excellent Reputation as Interior Decorator (Not to be mistaken for the “Public Image” Reputation that came with the Get Famous Pack)
Gen 12 - Get Famous
You were raised around your parent’s big crew of friends, and you thrived under their attention — even as a toddler you were an absolute charmer. Growing up, you know you have the it factor and you will do anything it takes to see your name in shining lights.
Home World: Del Sol Valley
Career: Actor
Aspiration: World Famous Celebrity
Traits: Self-Absorbed; Materialistic; Art Lover
Aesthetic: Maximalist Glam
Rules:
Master Acting and Media Production skills
Become a Global Superstar and place your Celebrity Tile on the walk of fame in Starlight Boulevard
Be good friends with at least 5 Celebrities and throw a Gold Medal dinner party for them
Gen 13 - Spa Day + Paranormal + Realm of Magic
Being the child of a global superstar is exhausting to say the least. Red carpets, paparazzi, hordes of fans — all while you’re trying to do your homework? You need a break. You find some long-awaited peace and quiet in the world of mindfulness — yoga, massages, inner peace. Unfortunately, the peaceful nest of zen you’ve built for yourself turns out to be haunted. You take it in stride and discover you have quite a knack for paranormal investigation. Before long, ghosts, ghouls and spirits have no secret for you. Nothing can stop your curiosity about the supernatural — when you hear of a mysterious world where you can learn to become a Spellcaster, you know that’s where fate wants you to be.
Home World: Any, then Glimmerbrook as an Adult
Career: Paranormal Investigator
Aspiration: Inner Peace; Self-Care Specialist; Zen Guru; Spellcraft & Sorcery; Purveyor of Potions
Traits: High Maintenance; Clumsy; Good
Aesthetic: New Age Hippie
Rules:
Master Wellness and Medium skills
Must first live on a Haunted House residential lot (Any world except Glimmerbrook)
Must start out by offering services as a Massage Therapist/Manucurist/Yoga Instructor out of your own house
Must then become a Paranormal Investigator and take jobs of all three levels
Become good friends with Bonehilda
As an Adult, move to Glimmerbrook and ask a Sage to train you to become a Spellcaster
Must reach Virtuoso level of Spellcasting
Gen 14 - Dine Out + Vampires
Your parent was a Spellcaster. You’re a vampire. It’s like something out of a YA novel. Unfortunately, the life of a YA hero, with all its drama, is not for you. You’re a sweet goofball who just wants a normal life. Chill with your friends. Work at your diner. Hope nobody’s weird about going to a vampire’s restaurant. Yeah, people will talk, but you’re happy and that’s all that matters.
Home World: Forgotten Hollow, then Copperdale when you have kids
Career: n/a
Aspiration: Good Vampire
Traits: Good; Loyal; Goofball
Aesthetic: Colourful Retro
Occult: Vampire
Rules:
Must own a Restaurant and earn a 5 star rating
Master Cooking and Vampire Lore skills
Cannot have a Career; can only make money from the restaurant
Can only have kids by adoption, to make sure they aren’t occult
Must move to Copperdale when you have kids to give them a normal life
Gen 15 - High School Years + Werewolves
Your parent was a Vampire. To ensure you’d have a normal life and not the life of an occult like them, they adopted you and raised you as normally as possible. They didn’t expect you to get bitten and become a werewolf on your Teenage birthday. You make the most of it: you’re a real-life Werewolf on Campus and you get super popular for it! It’s a fun way to be, so you keep it up into adulthood: Simfluencer-slash-streamer by day, climbing the ranks of the Moonwood Collective by night! Who says you can’t have it all?
Home World: Moonwood Mill
Career: Simfluencer and Videogame Streamer
Aspiration: Admired Icon (Teen); Werewolf Initiate; Emissary of the Collective
Traits: Party Animal; Outgoing; Self-assured
Aesthetic: Pastel Pop
Occult: Werewolf
Rules:
Must become a werewolf as soon as possible after becoming a Teen
Must accept every invitation as a Teen
Master Entrepreneur Skill
Reach the top of the Cheer Team after-school activity
Work both Simfluencer and Videogame part-time jobs as an adult
Must become Rank 5 of Werewolf ability (Apex)
Gen 16 - Growing Together + Horse Ranch
Being raised in a werewolf pack makes for a strange childhood. Maybe that’s why you became a horse girl (gender neutral), as a way to escape. Either way, as soon as you can, you move to Chestnut Ridge to become a Championship rider. You mellow out a bit when you get older and you decide to move closer to civilization and try your hand at nectar-making. Through it all, nothing is more important to you than family, and you give your kids a stable life like you never really had.
Home World: Chestnut Ridge, then San Sequoia
Career: n/a
Aspiration: Championship Rider; Expert Nectar-maker
Traits: Rancher, Horse-lover; Family-oriented
Aesthetic: Modern Ranch/Craftsman
Rules:
Must have at least one horse, one mini-sheep, one-mini-goat and one child (not necessarily all at the same time)
Master Riding and Nectar-Making
Your horse must master all the horse skills
Your infant must learn to crawl and try at least three baby foods
Your child must complete one of the four multi-skill childhood aspirations (Creative Genius; Mind and Body; Playtime Captain; Slumber Party Animal)
Must throw a Ranch Gathering or a Ranch Animal Day while living in Chestnut Ridge
Must throw a Baby Shower when pregnant and a Family Reunion

A Fool’s Journey in Self-Taught Modding / Pt 1
Coming up on a thousand posts between MTS and NRaas in the space of a year, I sometimes figure my lack of uploads weighs negatively upon whether it seems like I know what I’m talking about.
Tumblr media
So, it's time to start a devlog. If you were tagged, don't feel obliged to read it- just wanted to credit the names and faces behind this rabbithole I've gone down.
Tiny blips of my work are floating about out there- I made the geostates for @twinsimming's default replacement tree, cracked some of the mysteries of decrypting TS3 Store worlds, and I’ve shot a number of small CC items and tuning packages from the hip as needed for individuals in both forums.
Tumblr media
Over a couple of days, I learned geostates from scratch to make the sprout and sapling.
I’ve also ended up with the shiny orange username at MTS thanks to contributing a few tutorials, which did wonders for my confidence. Said tutorials are quickly decaying as I outgrow my own methods, but I promise to revisit them when time and health allows.
Tumblr media
Making GIF examples was a highlight of working on the tutorials, so far.
In truth, I’m always working on bigger things. Much bigger things. Half of the answers I give are ones I work out on the spot for the purpose of answering- and then I squirrel away what I learned into my growing reference pile. I’m happy to chip away at a hundred little problems, because I come away with a hundred little skills.
I’m just too stubborn to let my first public release be one of those small successes. It simply has to be the most ambitious project on my plate- the one made of months of work and half a dozen restarts from scratch.
Tumblr media
What started as a simple 'find hairs to use as default replacements' project has turned into a 'repurpose mesh pieces into new hairs from scratch' project.
The truth about learning to mod any game is that a fair bit of it will (or rather, should) have nothing to do with the game itself. Being competent with Blender and XML in general- and familiarising myself with S3PE so thoroughly I could manually do anything that usually is automated by other tools- was the greatest favour I could have done for myself.
I started wanting to write a devlog- or whatever is appropriate to call this when it won’t involve programming for quite some time- to try and encourage this sentiment in others. Learning to make a specific creation vs learning to create is very similar to the proverb of being given a fish vs being taught to fish. The sooner you unlearn relying on for-purpose knowledge and dive into all-purpose knowledge, the better.
If you want to be a prolific creator of hair CC, I wouldn’t even recommend starting with my tutorials on making them for TS3. I’d encourage you to learn to create and edit meshes, work with morphs and bone assignments, so on- all concepts that neither The Sims nor EA invented, but if you are introduced to them for the first time through modding you may fall into the trap of believing a modder is the best person to teach you. The remaining jump to then get that work into the game is smaller than you think.
Tumblr media
Manual bone assignments are the most recent trick I've put up my sleeve, and one of the reasons for another soft-restart of my project.
EA didn’t provide a single modding resource outside of CaW for The Sims 3, so I empathise with the DIY nature of the tutorials that exist. The familiar names of the 2009-2010 modding scene pulled the game apart themselves, wrote their own programs, and carried the community on their back with the effort of sharing what they learned.
Over a decade later, creators are less often programmers, computer engineers, and 3D artists and more often hobbyists following in their footsteps with no prior knowledge of these fields. You will lose sanity if you have big CC plans and try to learn all of it from a video tutorial recorded on an overheating laptop that didn’t edit out any of the times TSRW crashed or the person making the tutorial coughed directly into their mic- I can tell you that much.
The first thing I made was actually a skill for TS4, which I crunched through with Sims4Studio and a lot of squinting at @icemunmun-spicy-scalpel's Candle Making skill, and is where I first spat out the name CardinalSims for the sake of filling in the creator name box. Which, for the record, is supposed to be a pun on Cardinal Sins and not that I consider myself the cardinal of sims.
Tumblr media
I'll come back around to release this one day if someone doesn't beat me to it, hopefully with compatibility for BrazenLotus' mods.
For that reason, a lot of TS4 creators are my largest inspiration even if I see myself focusing on TS3. Icemunmun and @brazenlotus are my meshing and modding role models- custom food is my passion despite my current workload, so when I finally get some of these projects out that is where I’d like to settle most. Preferably churning out hundreds of recipes and harvestables for the rest of my days.
After messing around with hair recolours, eye textures, and asymmetrical dog ears, I flipped back to TS3 (the far more intimidating of the two to work with) and haven’t stopped piling projects onto that plate ever since. Hair became the somewhat dominant topic of my expertise, but believe it or not it all started with a plate of scrambled eggs.
Tumblr media
3D scrambled eggs, intended as a replacer for @echoweaver's recipe. All it's missing is a half-eaten state, but I got a tiny bit distracted: read, it has been ten months.
It’s not really a devlog until I go over what I’m working on, though, is it?
No matter how many things I try to juggle, I can promise that the first release will be a large something called BGHR. Which involves somewhere in the range of 45 hairs, give or take.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The first 'BGH' Redux I made + the most recent one- have fun puzzling over that acronym until release. I blame it on the fact I modded Skyrim for a long time before this.
Which is not including the dozens of variants and age/gender conversions I end up with along the way, which I export to a mesh dump that I’ll come back to later:
Tumblr media
Once that floodgate is open, I will be prioritising releasing the smaller projects quite quickly- likely the 3D scrambled eggs and the default harvestable plant + vine to match the tree that have been sitting 99% complete in my project folder.
Tumblr media
Thank you for reading, if you made it this far. I'm out of breath and I didn't even have to say all of this outloud.
Next devlog should be more focused on a singular topic.

omg my new boss is paying me at a higher rate than I was expecting and also I'm already being put on making the work roster after like two days in the office and I'm absolutely killing it even though I have literally never done this before and also I've now made three usable forms after teaching myself how to use formstack and reorganised all of the dropbox files by financial year and retitled them in a more consistent format
I have been so incompetent in every job I have ever had, and some of which I had to study for 6 months just to apply, my anxiety or my chronic pain or my adhd or all 3 have made keeping a job so difficult, I am nearly 28 and have not been able to hold a job and I felt so hopeless
and now I have a job I am really good at despite never having trained or worked in this field before, and the reason I'm so good at it is because it utilises skills I've had to perfect in my personal life in order to manage my anxiety, chronic pain, and adhd
my anxiety and adhd make me want to deal with an issue as soon as it comes up so it's not weighing on me and so I don't forget it, so making calls, chasing up information, and getting what I need over the phone in a short amount of time is something I got very good at
my adhd makes me incredibly forgetful so I have to take constant notes about everything and those notes have to be succinct and organised enough that I can find them later and still understand what they were about, it also makes me lowkey obsessive about patterns and organisation (which may also be an autism thing, still awaiting a diagnosis on that)
additionally I have to maintain an impeccable calendar and keep track of all of my various appointments for my physical and mental health, my classes, my volunteer work, and personal events, otherwise I lose track, forget, or get completely overwhelmed, especially with my physiotherapy because those appointments are never regular and I have to be very flexible about fitting them into my schedule, not to mention having to reorganise certain things very abruptly when my back flares up and I need to spend days at home recovering
also getting hyperfocused on games like Monster Prom is how I learned how to use spreadsheets to keep track of my progress! which made it a lot easier to learn microsoft excel from scratch
and my obsession with management sim games gave me an understanding of organising tasks with different ranges of priority and slotting in small tasks between large ones to keep business flowing
everything that was a weakness in my life has become a tool I can now wield in a job I think was made for me, my anxiety, my adhd, even my pain, it all led to me developing skills I couldn't have gotten from just taking a class
and I thought I'd never have the opportunity to have a job like this because all admin positions I could find required previous experience, or at least a certification (which I was already working on with my business class) but this job was such a windfall of fortune because of my friend recommending me for the position
now I get to work in a job I'm best suited at, alongside one of my best friends, with a boss who is just the sweetest guy, and utilising all the skills I've honed after years of struggling just to exist
I think my good karma is finally cashing itself in, I cannot tell you the last time I felt so hopeful for my future 😊😊😊

Tag Game for Historical Simblrs!
Thank you @antiquatedplumbobs and @sasaofastora for the tag!
1. What has been your favorite time period to play in or which one are you most excited for?
Oh gosh... This is really going to take some thought. I have really enjoyed the 1890s because of the labor reform and industrial revolution aspects of the time, but there's also the 1920s and 1930s when there was a massive amount of science discovered and environmental damage that will affect future generations.
2. Do you have a favorite piece of historical cc? (CAS or BB)
I really love @linzlu's retro sinks, but I also can't function w/o a lot of @gilded-ghosts's outfits.
3. Who is your favorite sim currently?
So it's actually little Gordon. His future is heavily inspired by my own interests and emotional events that shaped and altered me. I'm very excited to develop his story.
4. What is your favorite world?
I love all of them for different reasons, but Brindleton, Windenburg, and Granite Falls are probs my favorites.
5. Are you more gameplay or story focused?
I play the game to get to the good parts of the story I want to tell. Sometimes the game throws me for a loop though and I need to alter my story to fit the gameplay, but the story definitely drives a lot of how I play.
6. Do you like to play with pets in your historical saves?
I do, but not cats. I like having dogs, but I a dog person IRL so its just a natural fit. I miss the dog from Gen 0 but it hasn't felt right in the story to have a dog again.
7. What’s your biggest immersion breaking pet peeve with the game?
The weird outfits on the pets in Brindleton. I can't seem to find a mod or anything that will make pets not wear clothing.
8. What’s your favorite in-game historical item? (CAS or BB)
... Probably the boots from Vampires or the lace-up boots that came with GTW.
9. What would you like to see as a new pack or asset to the game?
I would like to see more free swim areas. The areas in Britechester and Sulani are cool, but Brindleton could use some free swim areas along the coast.
10. What pack do you think is invaluable as a historical simmer?
Obvs, Cottage Living, but I have to agree with Get Together or Vampires for their build mode items.
11. Do you have a favorite mod to enhance historical gameplay?
So many, but MCCC, Better UI, Better Exceptions, TOOL, BBB, Timeless, Home Regions, Language Barrier, and I know I'm forgetting some.
12. What’s your ideal family size for playing?
4-5 people. I hate when the dice dole out 5-6 children. I really dislike the new newborn phase and the toddler phase is something to just tolerate.
13. Do you use poses?
All. The. Time.
14. Do you use any overrides in your game?
I had a crib override at one point, but infants broke it.
15. Do you, or did you, play off-the-grid during your game?
I played OTG all through the 1850s to the 1880s. 1880s including plumbing being added. Electricity was added in 1890.
16. What lifespan do you play on?
I play on normal lifespan, but with the days in each stage altered slightly. In my game, 2.8 days equals 1 year; so some years are 3 days long and some are only 2. 28 days = 10 years
17. What inspired you to start playing a historically?
I have always loved history and learning about it. For about half a second during my junior year, I thought about becoming a history teacher until I remembered that I don't actually like interacting with most people. I have, thankfully, learned the skills to deal with people on a daily basis but some (most) days it's exhausting.
Thanks again for tagging me, this was fun! I’m going to tag @alainas-sims, @jenplayssims, @sims-through-the-decades, and @simadelics.

Hi! Have you played through the ts4 university pack once? Just wondering if you recommend it! (:
I’ve attempted to, but it never ends well, even my most clever sims still struggle, bc it isn’t even about skill, but rather time management. Even when adding mods to shorten homework cycles, and cutting their classes down to only two per term, my sims still couldn’t get a decent grade.
I also just found it kind of boring in general, bc it focuses too much on learning, and not enough on the other aspects of college, like finding friends, learning new skills that aren’t a part of your sim’s curriculum, and having other things to do off campus besides drink at the bar.
They also fucked up severely for NOT having actual interactive sit in lectures. The constant disappearing outside deco buildings to go to class ruins immersion, and the bicycle, being one of its biggest selling points, is an absolute mess to use on the campus.
Only reason I got it was for the build content, clothes and robots, which, by no surprise at all, turned out to be kinda disappointing compared to TS3’s plumbots.

In not writing related news, I've been doing the world's laziest (and therefore unofficial) version of the not-so-berry challenge in the Sims, and... Well this has been a learning experience for me for certain lol.
If anyone cares, I'm going to go into a little more detail below a cut here. Spare the rest of you lol.
First, with regards to my play style: I am insanely impatient. I play fast. I also rush my Sims into the first relationship I can get them into and then curse them with massive families because I love character creation and also drama.
Second, the reason that I am firm on this being a loose/unofficial version is because I am that impatient and while I do my best to keep everyone's needs up natively, I am prioritizing my story over the strict challenge rules and thus am absolutely cheating needs when necessary. I am not, however, cheating skills or money (beyond the game start when I used the money cheat ONCE, and I have not used it since) or career/aspiration requirements. I'm doing all of that manually.
So with that said... I have become wildly invested in this family. And I have favorites, 100%.
Mint Gen (Julep) was alright, definitely fun to play with the scientist track which I don't think I've messed with much. And I never play jealous Sims because a bitch loves poly, so that was new to me. But she was just straight up vibing with her chef husband and their six kids and her clone lol. I definitely should have moved them into a bigger house but meh lol.
Rose Gen (Jasper) was hard for me on many levels. I love poly, but I don't love players. I also didn't love being restricted to one child, but it did give me time to get all his skills up early so there was that. And also the politician track was legitimately difficult for me lol. I hate having to carve out time to go socialize. But this gen was when I really started finding a story, and like... it was genuinely such a little soap opera lol. Either way it made Yellow Gen (Midas) grow up in such a chaotic environment, as intended lol.
And when I tell you that Midas was my favorite... Literally my golden boy. I had so much fun with his story, and all the drama and the complicated family dynamics and the ANGST and I was actually legitimately sad when he died. Like he had finally kicked the juice habit, was happy and thriving, took his first day off from work ever just to spend time with his grandkids and mind his late wife's garden, and then... Boom. Right at the mailbox as all his kids came home from work. I knew it was coming. I was watching for it. I set him up for a good last day. And I was still devastated. He deserved the world. I could go on forever about him honestly. My sweet baby boy. 😭
His Grey Gen child (Gris) has been fun, too, but while she's 100% the hot one, and the messy one, she's... IDK. Maybe now that she's getting into her post-dad, get-out-of-the-house-and-settle-down era I will vibe with her a little more. She's got a lot of opposing bits going on but I'm really leaning into her fame to try and give Plum Gen a boost.
No idea what that is going to be like, because it's another one that runs very counter to my usual style lol. But Iris is doing great on her skills so far so we'll see what happens lol. Lots of first born AFABs in this family.
Anyway, that's just the main line. The eldest child of the eldest child, etc. The secondary lines have been out there WILDING. I check the tree every so often to get the latest tea and like. Midas' cousins were doing some INTERESTING partner swapping, and then his half-brother (Mom's son) married their mom (his dad's brother's widow) lol. Not my circus, but still damn fun to watch from the stands lmao.
IDK. I'm way too invested in this lol.
Here's some pics of my good lad during his briefly happy youth and also deep in his depressed-widower-passed-out-on-the-couch era
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He had a perfectly good bed (his bed!!) that was entirely open. What a goober. I miss him already. 😭
Also if anyone does want to know more about the story, I will be more than happy to share in detail lol. I am also tracking the ENTIRE family tree using Plumtree, so I can uh. Show that too lol. Just let me know.

Important Notice – Upcoming Changes
Quick but very important update. I just got hired at a full time job which in turn will affect my 3D work. I will still post and create content whenever I can. I plan on making and posting about 3 items per month if not more if I have spare time. Once I get used to my new job I am sure I will become more comfortable and find time to work more on my 3D work. For now the content will become slower as I have a lot of job training ahead of me and studying to do.
I will also no longer be doing commissions. Everything is on hold as of right now as my timing and scheduling is being rearranged. I am going to inactivate all my commission links. Any active commissions I will continue to work on but now as my timing is much more busy the time frame of completion is unknown.
If you would like to see something you want in game please feel free to message me or request it. If I find or have the time I will make it for you and post it publicly for my early access tier.
My other 3D art unrelated to sims. Any mods or 3D art that I make will still be posted just randomly. As I start working and adjusting, my mods and 3D art will take more time to create and longer to post. So please keep this in mind for anything I create and post here.
The whole reason I started creating content is because I wanted to share the love and admiration I have for traditional Korean culture. I wanted to study and create 3D art to create traditional Korean scene renders. I had a love for sims since I was young and realized when I came across a tutorial I could combine the two. Since at that time there wasn’t much Korean content I wanted to create it myself. It took years till finally I committed and started learning to make 3D art and combine it with the sims. These days there are many amazing cc creators who create Korean content which is truthfully so heartwarming to see. I love creating custom content for sims and I adore learning more and creating traditional Korean relics. It is a passion I will never let go of. I will keep learning to get better at 3D and advance my skills to give you all the best content I can. Thank you for supporting me as it is and always will be a blessing! I will see you all soon in my next posting!
If you have any questions or need anything please feel free to message me.
Thank you always to those who support me!

Updated TS4 Pack Invasiveness Tierlist
Tumblr media
(By "Doesn't contain gameplay" I mean it doesn't add anything that isn't already in the base game. Little campers does have a projection screen but it's just a new TV.)
Reasons under the cut
Reasoning for all the packs I listed before stays the same.
Incredibly Invasive additions: Growing Together adds gameplay to infants to make them less bland than the base game version of infants, annoyingly kind of necessary to have any actual fun raising them. And consequences. If you raise an infant poorly or don't spend enough time teaching them skills like sitting up and crawling, they get a negative trait just like with parenthood. But the most important feature of it besides adding gameplay majorly for Infants and minorly for Children and Elders, is the extra 'learned traits' mechanic added to the game. No longer are we constrained to only three traits for Young Adult/Adult/Elder sims! But you will get a bunch of annoying popups for your sim's new preferences, such as liking or hating complaints or negative traited sims. Your sim who's a slob can also get a trait change option pop up to ask if you want to make our sim neat now that you've been torturing them with the household chores.
Wait I have that pack? additions: Horse Ranch does not allow free roaming horses, which was my BIGGEST CONCERN due to how TS3 horses would show up even in Bridgeport. Even if you do have a horse on your lot, they are designed to walk through 1 tile wide doorways which is a huge relief when my biggest problem with TS3 horses was that even wild horses would glitch through the walls and get stuck in my living room, until I broke down an entire wall and shoo'd them out of my house. The horse events don't come as notifications to clutter up the activity feed, so it even spares me that issue that most other packs have.
Luxury Party Stuff just adds the punch bowl and buffet table to the game, no other additional gameplay. As a stuff pack it mostly adds CAS items and a few Build objects.

just read through your clone OCs post and i just have to say, i love them, your honor. i've loved getting glimpses of them in the fox in the henhouse series, and now i need to bundle all of them up in warm blankets and make them warm beverages. thanks for sharing your lovely creations with the world <3
i have been keeping this in my inbox like it’s a blanket for my little mouse body that soothes me on these long winter nights, but i suppose i must learn to let go…
anyway IM SO HAPPY YOU LIKE MY OCS!! It might be a little early to begin discussing marriage, but im willing to start the arrangements if you are <3
for real, its super nice to hear that people are enjoying the clones i throw in my fics (here is a list with more information, for the uninitiated!) — each of them is my super special baby who is god’s weakest soldier and i love them dearly. they each have a purpose, too! i enjoy exploring what it means to be military (but not) and the weird state of martial law that Coruscant edges into even before the empire ever rises, and some oc clones makes it easy to dig deeper into different aspects of that without completely transplanting canon characters, though the canon guard members have such little screen time that some futzing doesn’t matter too much…
and i'm rambling. well! as a reward (?) for making it this far, here’s a couple of new characters that will be featuring this month as febuwhump goes on!
JUDGE: [he/him] a techie who (allegedly) works with the Senate air traffic control. this information is mostly guesswork, as anytime someone comes looking for Judge, he tends to be sitting in the break room on his comm, so it’s hard to say if he does any work at all. completely unbothered by pretty much anything, he nonetheless has a reputation around the Guard of being a complete badass because he can make any senator shut up within two sentences. he accomplishes this by being the one in charge of clearing flights to the surface, and any senate workers who invoke his wrath quickly find themselves on hold for the next two hours while he takes a long lunch.
name origin: due to his unflappable nature, he quickly became the go-to trooper to be called upon to mediate petty disputes. there is apparently no rhyme or reason for which side he chooses, but it has become an unofficial rule within the barracks that once Judge has made the final call, the party’s over.
TWO: [he/they] a member of Thorn’s diplomatic escort team, but the rest of them all try to keep Two at the back (preferably with his mouth taped shut) because despite his excellent marksmanship skills and high scores on the diplomacy and hostage negotiations sims, Two is a mean little bastard who would probably dox people on twitter in a modern au. Thorn snatched up Two very quickly, because he knew that his batchmate Moriarty was aiming for the recently-graduated cadet to join the Guard’s T&I division, and Thorn didn’t think Fox’s blood pressure could handle that.
name origin: “Two” is actually short for Two-Faced, and has nothing to do with their CT number. Two greatly enjoys getting the chance to explain this to people, and daring them to say anything about it. be careful, this one bites!
thanks for the ask, and thanks for reading this far!! if anyone ever have questions about my ocs or wants to chat about writing, feel free to hit me up!! i’ll take any chance i can get to talk about my little freaks 🥰

I'm playing the Sims 3 on my new laptop and trying out the Future expansion pack where you can have robots that are basically Sims. Your sim that learns how to build robots can build chips to equip them with that are made of various collectibles and parts you can get from building nanites, and you can make better nanites and better chips the higher your Bot Building skill is. Hold on, this is relevant, don't worry.
So I make a sim (the game rewards me with a randomized twink with a beauty mark) that I create to build Plumbots, with the intention of crafting him a computer husband of his own. I start him out with a simple wide-shouldered fembot (sadly you're required to give your robots a binary gender despite all Sims being bisexual and the Plumbots are visually unisex) that's just there to test the capabilities of Plumbots. I name her Promethea, and she grows on me because of course she does. Sure, all Sims are bisexual, Edgar here could fall for Promethea like I have.
My sim, Edgar, likes the idea of being self-employed as a Bot Builder, and apparently being self-employed is a whole rigamarole in this game. You're supposed to register at the town hall or online, but the option doesn't appear to me, so I find out he's supposed to already be making money selling Plumbots from a specialized sales kiosk that has to be in his home. Which also just means I have to make more robots! That's fine. I can just make robots to bump up Edgar's skill while he works on making Promethea Sentience and Capacity to Love chips, which are a ways off yet.
I make a nice robot out of orbs and name him Deeter, fully intending him to sell him off later when I've given him some valuable chips to make him sell for a good price. Deeter and Promethea don't need to sleep and don't charge for that long before they're good to go, so they have a lot of time to themselves while Edgar sleeps, and they don't have advanced enough chips to spend that time learning independently, creating things, etc. But what they CAN do is socialize with each other between Promethea's Friendly behavior chip and Deeter's Sense of Humor chip.
Deeter and Promethea become best friends fast, and Edgar finally completes the Capacity to Love chip. I have him equip it to Promethea, thinking that he can take it slow with her and keep Deeter around as a pal (Deeter had recently gained the ability to Have a Job, so there was reason enough to keep him around while his science career pops off).
The first. The absolute first thing Promethea does after gaining the capacity to love from her creator, is walk right over to Deeter, who still only has a "funny guy" chip and "simulated feelings", and confesses her love for him. Damn, ok!
I love robots in love just as much as robots and humans in love so I can live with this, but there's trouble in paradise-- Deeter DOES NOT HAVE THE CAPACITY TO LOVE (yet) despite both of their relationship panels confirming them as romantic interests, so every time she tries to hold him or kiss him with her robot face, he shoves her away :( That's heartbreaking, so I make Deeter a Capacity to Love chip as well so that he can reciprocate.
Of course, I didn't manage to get all the supplies I needed together for his chip before Promethea made a pass at Edgar as well, upsetting Deeter despite literally not being equipped to feel jealousy. I demand Edgar ask Promethea to just be friends despite all my original plans, finish Deeter's chip, and equip him with it so that these two horny robots can clonk their faces together and moan while poor Edgar (who Deeter now despises for flirting with his girlfriend) makes ANOTHER Plumbot, Holly, to be his actual computer wife.
THIS HOWEVER, ALSO DOES NOT GO OFF WITHOUT A HITCH, because NOW DEETER IS MACKING ON HOLLY and now EVERYONE is upset (Edgar at this point brings up the wish to finally sell Deeter, but Lord if I can separate these two now that they're welded at the hip). At this point, since Deeter has a job and therefore an income, I have him move out with Promethea as soon as I finish giving them sentience so everyone can chill the fuck out!! I can only play one household at a time though so I hope those two loverbots are doing okay in whatever house that is that doesn't have any charging bays for them
TL;DR: I had a sim make a robot to love but the minute she could love anyone she fell for the other robot and they caused so much drama I had to kick them out of the house permanently

Four Birthdays?!
Tumblr media
In Which There Are Many Birthdays Held
Soon after Flo got pregnant, it was Flat and Ruby's birthdays. I'll admit, it was a bit hard to see Flat age up into an elder, and harder still to,, ugh,, cut his hair ;-;
Tumblr media
This isn't even his new haircut, this is just the party outfit from the whole 1940s/1950s thing I did.
I only did it because he has short hair in The Sims 3, but it probably was a needed change, since he's literally had the same hairstyle since he was a teenager. (Honestly though Flo is no different)
With Flat's elderhood newly begun, he now gravitates toward the rocking chair fiercely, and can no longer go for a simple jog with almost dying, despite having maxed out the athletic skill a while ago, and have gone on daily morning jogs for quite some time now, but whatever it's fine I'm not bothered by it in the least.
Ruby has taken it upon herself to spend her young adulthood to the fullest, and frequently conventions in San Myshuno regularly. She doesn't live there, and isn't sure if she particularly wants to, but it sure is fun seeing all the things there is to see.
One thing in particular that was fun to see was not in San Myshuno, however. Ruby was in Brindleton Bay to visit her uncle, when she browsed the museum and came across a cat, something she doesn't really see in Newcrest.
Tumblr media
She adopted Pumpkin with only the hastiness that a newly-young adult Sim could. (To be fair, Pumpkin became fond of Ruby very quickly, and I—I mean she couldn't resist)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back home, I am learning in real time how infants work, and it's not terrible. They seem oddly large, but some infants are like that. In any case, Flat and Flo love their son desperately, and cannot get enough of him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(that's not how potty training works, even if skip was old enough to start learning, but okay)
Buck eventually came over for a visit, to meet his nephew, which leads me to three pictures that honestly make me a little emotional.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Like I'm not tearing up or anything, but I feel like that,, flutteriness? in my chest. Like if a few things were already going on, and then I saw these pictures, I might start crying. That kind of emotional.
About a week after Skip aged up to an infant, it was Flo's birthday, and I once again had to confront my weird conflicting emotions about a Sim that I have played for months becoming an elder, but at least she had a nice party.

And before you ask, the bassinet in Ruby's house doesn't mean she is going to have a baby herself. For some reason in The Sims 3, Ruby's trailer has a crib, despite her not being pregnant, or even having a romantic relationship indicating that she might soon become pregnant. Idk. It's weird.

Week 1 Report
Tumblr media
Identification scanned. System access granted to Qhesreia Aryasha of the Sixami Exploration Corps.
Daily reports compiled and attached for review by the Council.
Day 1, Sunday on the sims calendar:
I have secured housing in this sim land I have been left in. It required nearly all of the simoleons I was provided with. It is very brown.
Tumblr media
I have secured employment suited to this locale. I have become what they call an actress. I have my first audition tomorrow. I have practiced the skill required.
Tumblr media
I have met a neighbour, Venessa Jeong. She is also an actress. She is neat, cheerful, and ambitious. She is single with no children. A potential breeding partner.
Tumblr media
Day 2, Monday on the sims calendar:
Some random sim shoved a brand new pair of earbuds at me and refused to take them back? Have we ever learned the purpose behind this? Is it a means of tracking us?
I regret to report that I failed my audition. Maybe I was too purple, maybe I'm just not accustomed to human expectations. I accept the judgment of the Council.
I have another audition scheduled for tomorrow evening. If I also fail that, I will consider alternative income sources.
Venessa has requested to stay at my house for a few days. This could be promising.
Day 3, Wednesday on the sims calendar:
A vampire visited last night. I was not impressed.
Venessa is only interested in masculine sims. This is disappointing. I will select a different breeding partner.
I attended GeekCon (a sim festival) in hopes of finding someone, but nearly everyone is costumed. I cannot judge their suitability if I cannot inspect them.
A sim called me and told me that I had inherited simoleons? When I asked who they were referring to, they just gave it to me and wouldn't take it back? Sims are very strange.
I succeeded at the second audition. I go to work in two days.
Tumblr media
I don't know who made the decision to abduct Venessa while she was staying at my house, but I am not impressed! This is a security risk if sims start investigating!
A sim named Raj Rasoya invited me to spend time with him. He is a possible breeding partner, so I accepted. He vanished almost immediately. I do not have much hope for him.
This is more difficult than I thought it would be, but with your support and leadership, Councillors, I will prevail.
Day 4, Thursday on the sim calendar:
The pollinator did not even manage to pollinate Venessa. It was not worth the risk, and there was no benefit.
At the acting job, one of the producers, Krista Lewandowski, immediately asks to be physically intimate. Possibly something will come of that?
Tumblr media
I have attached the feedback I received from the talent agency. I have been promoted. I look forward to a time when I have enough recognition for a superior talent agency.
Tumblr media
My next audition is in two days.
Day 5, Friday on the sims calendar:
I asked Krista on a 'date' to better assess her suitability. She proposed marriage (lifetime romantic partnership). I saw no reason to say no, since the proposal isn't the actual marriage (there are legal forms to sign) and the 'engagement' (agreement to marriage) can be cancelled. She's the most promising breeding partner I've found so far and I cannot afford to lose track of her.
Tumblr media
Krista is a herbalist and a technophobe. While not ideal, she will likely not pry into our affairs. A more complete report will follow when my inspection is complete.
I was invited to join a club called the 'Good Timers.' I am not fully informed about the details, but in case Krista does not work out, it could be useful. It also looks positive to join a human organization.
Week Summary: Despite setbacks, I have aquired an acceptable income source, a breeding partner, and a human social circle.
End of weekly report. Report submitted by Qhesreia Aryasha to Sixami Royal Council at the end of the fifth day. Weekly orders received: The Sixami Royal Council requires a more detailed report. Take photos of your life every day for 7 days.

The Twins
Another day, another class. For some reason, Ms. Rogers was really angry.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Your extra credit sucks, mostly because you come to school and just sit doing nothing for hours. So, starting today, all students are required to join some after-school activity. No exceptions!"
Tumblr media
During lunch, Leo and Kev talked about the news. "Watcher damn! I guess they won't count livestreaming as an extracurricular. What club or team are you gonna join?"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Well, Vannah is the Computer team captain and she invited me in. I wouldn't recommend it, though: after all, you're a playable sim and that's just a rabbit hole extra. Also, the school computers would suck next to yours at home!"
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Yeah, you're right. I guess I'm gon' have to check what other options are available." The person next to Kevin talked. "Hey, sorry to interrupt! I'm Tia, I couldn't help but listen. I'm part of the Theater Club, it's pretty cool! You should talk to Dani and Marcos."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Yeah, that surely is the place", Leo thought. There was a bunch of people on stage, not one known sim in sight besides Tia, the person he met during lunch.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Hi, you Dani? I'm Leo. I talked to Tia and they told me you're the person in charge here." "Hi Leo, nice to meet you! That would be me, along with my brother Marcos over there." "Hi, welcome!", said Marcos. "It's nice to have new people down here."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
"I need some extra cred, and Tia said you were accepting. Can I be of any help at all?" "Do you have any creative skills?", Dani asked. "Does writing homework and selfie photography counts?"
Tumblr media
"Yeah, no." But don't worry, we can work something out", Dani assured him. "I'm a legacy heir, so at least I can promise I'll have a lot of playable time to learn anything you guys need!"
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Welcome to Theater Club! Thank you for joining. We'd probably never have screentime otherwise."
Tumblr media
It was almost 7, so the club called it a day and everyone went home. After that mortifying Molly moment the day before, Leo was thinking maybe Theater was exactly what he needed to get over it...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I'm so happy to introduce you to the Tang family! Paizley Tang was Gen 3 heir in my bestie @TheBlkPlumbob, and now they crossover to the Roge Universe! She and her husband Casanova Goth (long lost Goth cousin) are Dani and Marcos' parents.
Tumblr media
Paiz is a Yoga Instructor, and now she doesn't have any more legacy obligations, she's in search of inner peace.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Casanova is a sous-chef and is in search of a new restaurant to work at... Hmmm I wonder how this will turn out...
Tumblr media
And you already met the twins. Both Marcos and Dani dream of becoming huge movie Honeywood stars!
