I believe I am good on Funko Pops for the time being. The past two to three weeks have been quite bountiful for me. I snagged Mina from Hot Topic last week, got Gar Saxon from Star Wars The Clone Wars last week and now this week I got these three in the mail from Game Stop, they were running a sale, 3 for 25 dollars. I love all three of these. They are great!

Normally I don’t give too much of a fuss about award shows and despite not being a sub to Crunchyroll I like to keep appraised to the Crunchyroll Anime Awards and the results came in recently. Here are the highlights for me. Have to say, I’m satisfied. Nice spread if I do say so myself. :) Anime of the Year - Jujutsu Kaisen (Jujutsu Kaisen) Best Antagonist - Ryomen Sukuna (Jujutsu Kaisen) Best English Voice Actor - Zeno Robinson as Hawks (My Hero Academia) Best Fight Scene - Deku vs Overhaul (My Hero Academia) Best Boy - Shoyo Hinata (Haikyu!! So... I’ve been asked by friends in the past why I seem to latch onto villain characters so easily and well... it all started when I was a kid growing up with Disney. It was thanks to Maleficent, Jafar, Hades, Captain Hook, Ursula, Scar and Frollo that I became a softie for the dark side. So yeah... that’s my villain loving origin story and yes, I was that weird kid who loved the villains. Guess I never grew out of that phase... What can I say, villains have some serious drip, have the best music attached to them and just ooze cool.

Picked up this awesome Funko Pop from Hot Topic today. They had just gotten her in. She is by far one of my top favorite My Hero Funko Pops now. I love how dynamic she is. LOVE HER OMG!!! Oh and I also got a few My Hero pins, a mini Eraserhead Funko Pop Keychain and a League of Villains Cinnamon Scented Air Freshener. Overall, a great haul. Merry belated Christmas to me from me. :3

A Pang of Paranoia It was February 16th 2018 when our story began and in a small coastal town called Anchor’s Cove is where I lived. For most of my life this sleepy seafaring town was the ideal place to grow up, everyone knew each other by name and typically nothing too awful happened here. Honestly… I was blessed and fortunate to live here. Sure beats the hustle and bustle of the city. But as of late something had begun to feel… different in Anchor’s Cove. Now I couldn’t quite put my finger on it but all I knew was every time I ventured down into the village I got this strange feeling in the pit of my stomach and something that ate away at my mental state. It got so bad I began to ask around, questioning others if they felt the same sort of sensation I did. Strange sensation? Sorry, can’t say I have. Perhaps you’ve been working too much lately? Take it easy mate. I told you… stop watching those creepy videos online! It’s messing with your brain! Those are just a few of the responses I would get. I… was completely alone in thinking this way. I hated it! Was there no one in this town who could relate or sympathize with me? I knew I wasn’t being a crazy person for thinking this way, I just knew it! The sensations I felt were very much akin to symptoms found in anxiety. Elevated heart beat, paranoia, a basic fight or flight reflex and overall my mood was just… off. But perhaps I should get on with the story and cease the info dump right? So as I slowly made my way into the village’s center I once again felt that sensation. Why? Why is this happening to me? Why is it only me? Is there no one else here who can help me? I mused as I felt shivers surge through my body. Looking about I only saw people going about their business, totally ignorant to what was raging inside my mind. As my heart began to pound I bit back a wave of nausea as a headache began to form in my mind. Seriously… what was going on now?!!! “Are you okay hun?” A kind voice asked as I whirled around. Standing at a food cart was a middle aged adult woman with brown hair and vibrant green eyes. She wore a hoodie, jeans and a pair of sneakers. “Y-yeah. Just… had a rough night last night, that’s all.” I said as I shook my head, hoping to quell the headache before it took hold. The woman then held out a paper lunch bag, a smile appearing on her face. “Here, have some donuts on the house. They were freshly made this morning.” She said as I swallowed hard. “Thanks. Perhaps I just need to eat something.” I said as I laughed nervously as I thanked the woman once more before heading towards the small park nearby. It overlooked the harbor and honestly it was one of the best places to just chill at. Often people would come here to study or conduct remote business. Finding a bench I sat down and began munching on the doughy morsels, each one going to war with the lingering nausea. But as I gazed out to the sea it was then… when I spotted it. Floating out miles away yet still visible to the eye was what appeared to be a ship. It had tattered sails and had chunks of wood missing from its hull. I nearly dropped my bag at the sight of it. “Just… what is that thing?!” I asked? Gazing to it I could tell something was off about it. The way it floated in the water… just gave off the aura like it wasn’t all the way there, not all the way physical. Not all the way corporeal. As if it were a ghost ship! Popping up from my seat my head darted every which way, looking for someone… anyone. But as I searched I found no one. As my heart pounded I saw that the ship was getting closer. It was coming this way! But what made matters worse were the sudden nagging whispers that infiltrated my mind. The voices were unclear but two words were made clear amidst the whispers. Doom… Fear… Those two words were on an endless loop as the nausea in my stomach only worsened. The feeling was so unbearable that I felt like I was going to pass out! Squeezing my eyes shut I then snapped them open and all the sudden the ship was gone! But not only was the ship gone but the paranoia was too! Furrowing my brow I then looked to the bag of donuts in my hand. But as I did I came to the sudden realization. Could she be the culprit? I mused as I whirled around, my eyes scanning for the cart. But I did not see it. Arching a brow threw the bag away before heading home. I had much to think about... Three weeks later Hey! All is well for me. No sudden feels of dread or feelings of doom were plaguing my mind anymore! All was well! I had long since ventured into town again after taking a break and upon discovery I no longer saw that woman’s cart. I asked around and no one knew of what I spoke of. There had been no lady selling donuts on that street corner for at least 7 months. Apparently the lady had passed away. Upon hearing that I was stunned! Then what had I been eating all these months?! Shaking my head I refused to dwell on it and I took solace in knowing… I no longer felt… That pang of paranoia… The End...

Today was a VERY productive day for me. Went to Goodwill to donate some stuff and the Mall to go to Hot Topic to pick up a couple things. Then came home and proceeded to tidy up my room. Felt like taking a pic of the place after I finished and needless to say... I’m digging it. Love all the accent lighting in my room as well as my computer/entertainment setup. Oh and the My Hero corner is pretty legit as well. :3
