I'd like to write more with the Boyfriend universe because it's always fun writing fem Riddle, especially one who is so in love with you. <3 although I'd also like to write something where fem Riddle thinks Jade isn't a good fit for you and she drives herself near mad trying to prove you're better off without him. Meanwhile, Jade has too much fun tormenting her and continues to drive a wedge between you and her. It would be interesting to explore a dynamic in which Riddle is so emotionally codependent on you, so when you start dating Jade (or even Floyd) she feels as if she'll lose you. You're the one and only light in her dark life; she needs you.

I like the idea of Riddle getting drunk at your birthday party and she stumbles upon some secret thing on Jade (or Floyd's) phone and perhaps it's something incriminating. But because she's drunk her memory is foggy and it's the perfect excuse for everyone to use in order to diminish her claims. She just thinks that Leech guy is bad news and totally unsafe, and she's trying so hard to convince you that you should consider other people.

AAAAA and Jade would have so much fun with it, too. Adding more fuel to the fire by saying things like, "Aren't you a little too attached to (Name)? I understand the both of you are close friends, but even this is a little obsessive." And you're stuck between the both of them, wondering what's gotten into your friend and why she seems so distrustful of your boyfriend. >:D

Of course I'd also love to write for other fem twst characters as well, but Riddle has me in a chokehold. She's so cute. I love her lots. orz

An AU where Empty SEKAI and Wonderland SEKAI are connected

It all started when a few middle schools in Shibuya held a collaborative event for a community bazaar, and 3rd year middle school Tsukasa and Mafuyu were asked by their respective school teachers to help with said event before they graduate.

Tsukasa and Mafuyu were in the same division, and at first they got along well but...

One day, Tsukasa told Mafuyu that she shouldn't smile if she didn't want to. Mafuyu pretended not to know what Tsukasa was talking about, but Tsukasa pointed out that while Mafuyu's face muscle cold hold it just fine, sometimes her shoulders were a little bit too tight and her eyes didn't smile at all.

After that, Mafuyu were extra careful around Tsukasa, but because Tsukasa repeatedly said he didn't want Mafuyu to fake smile at least around him, Mafuyu didn't wear her mask anymore when they were alone.

Mafuyu asked Tsukasa why he didn't told her to stop faking altogether, but Tsukasa said that he knew that there's a reason why Mafuyu wore a mask in the first place. And besides, Mafuyu helped people with that, so he thought that at least she could take it easy around him. It led to Mafuyu thinking about why did she wear a mask in the first place... and then it led to an encounter with Niigo!Miku in Empty SEKAI, and Mafuyu realizing she didn't want to live like she was now.

Mafuyu didn't understand why Tsukasa bothered with her smile so much, so she asked him. At first, Tsukasa said that it's because he wants to be the best show star so people's smiles are important but he realized that there's something missing... and just like Mafuyu's case, it led Tsukasa to meet WxS!Miku and WxS!KAITO in Wonderland SEKAI, and made him remembered he just wanted others to smile.

Both Mafuyu and Tsukasa were present when the other were called to their SEKAI, so they knew of each other's SEKAI and was somehow able to get in as well through a mirror in their respective SEKAI. All three VS said that it's because the threads of their true feelings are connected.

Tsukasa didn't like that he's connected to Empty SEKAI, because it's too... well, empty, and the implication it might said about him and his true feelings. However, he felt that the old upright piano in Empty SEKAI is very familiar to him.

Mafuyu didn't like that she's connected to Wonderland SEKAI, because she didn't understand what her connection to Wonderland might say about her. But she couldn't help but be drawn to a mute rabbit plushie in that SEKAI.

They didn't want to acknowledge any of their similarities, but...

"All over the city, the masked cultists of the death god" It's quite benign, really; the adherents of the death god hold that each person's death is their sacred own death and it is a dishonourable thing to give someone a death that wasn't intended to be theirs. As such, devotees tend to wear masks and gloves to ensure they don't spread any diseases, because they absolutely cannot, in their devotion, risk being responsible for someone else dying of their own illness

They're amazing at safe sex because death god forbid you give someone a potentially serious STI - that's your illness to live or die with, not your partner's!

Once you get past all the skulls and ossuaries they're also super into civic planning because one person's careless match or gas fire shouldn't result in dozens of other, wholly unrelated, people's deaths. Creepy fucks, to be quite honest, but nobody maintains a safe gas line or designs adequate sewerage systems quite like them.

The flipside is that they do rather venerate suicides and heart attacks, because those are so much more personal, and yes their civil engineering is amazing but they're very casual about workplace accidents. Wonderfully clean water and a distinct lack of guardrails for anyone who has to climb up to do maintenance. Sometimes death god has decreed that your own personal death is you falling from a great height into superaerated water.

They run a great end-of-life hospice but there is a concerted effort by every single other faith and most of the faithless to prevent them getting involved with hospitals unless there's an epidemic on.

i really need to rewatch uwe before the upcoming season finale and properly gather my thoughts on it but i really really like the show! its goofy and cartoony style paired with a serious story about these warriors' souls stuck in an eternal war with the evil, the slight psychological horror of being used as hosts for said souls and almost completely discarded and disregarded (though it doesn't say too much about this, this is more my overthinking), the steampunk elements, the character designs, the voice acting... all of it. despite that i still have some irks with it, like the pacing. this show would've definitely benefited from having more episodes. for such a story heavy show 10 episodes doesn't feel enough. it worked with primal, genndy tartakovsky's previous show, because there was little to no dialogue there. it did an excellent job at making the viewer understand what was happening with mere facial expressions. but uwe characters have a lot to say, a lot to work out between each other. and it's clear tartakovsky wants to tell more. they need more episodes to do that. i hope the show gets renewed for a second season. i need everything that i'm extremely confused about to be addressed and cleared up

This is mostly me thinking out loud, but I wanna say the Grymforge / Sharran fortress in the Underdark was originally the base of the shapechanger and his army [of Dark Justiciars]. I also want to say he had some sort of effective immortality. [Meaning that sealing him + his forces in a gem was the really the only way Selûne could be rid of him.] He operated out of there for the entire 800 years it was functional.

I am honestly really tempted to say his immortality was "effective" immortality and linked to his "shapechanging". By which I mean it wasn't true shapechanging and was something more akin to what we see from Corypheus in DA:I. He could overtake the bodies of truly faithful Sharrans. Hence "immortality" + "shapechanging". It's not like this was widely known before he was sealed, and it's been millennia since he was. I mean, the longevity and subsequent need to seal him could come from him being Shar's Chosen, but I think this is spicier and maybe has interesting implications for Ketheric and Shadowheart. [There are benefits to being Shar's Chosen, but she is the Lady of Loss, even to them.]

Back to the fortress: after he and his army were sealed, Selûne's son was sent into the Underdark to purge the remainder and destroy the fortress. This is the origin of the Selûnite Outpost. He succeeded but ultimately perished and was interred in the temple above. Then the outpost was brought down by drow, the entrance was sealed, and the temple ultimately abandoned. Again, millennia ago.

Then the temple was rediscovered about 300 or so years before BG3. It was reconsecrated, and Moonhaven was built nearby. Aylin was born 130-ish years before BG3. [Like to hc she's close in age to Isobel. Maybe older by a handful of years but certainly not by centuries or even decades.] Aylin was raised there and sometimes hidden in the outpost to protect her from Shar's attacks as a small child. She wasn't allowed to go exploring, but that didn't stop her from trying.

Of course, we know of Ketheric's plan to connect Moonrise Towers / Reithwin to Moonhaven via the Underdark. We also know he operated out of the Sharran fortress and used the Grymforge to outfit his Dark Justiciars. I would also argue that he wasn't simply a Sharran convert; it's heavily implied she was considered his Chosen, and his will was considered Her will. However, his faith wasn't pure enough to wield the Spear of Evening and slay Aylin. He could neither free the shapechanger nor take his place. He turned from Shar in the end.

Then we start getting into Shar's prediction that slaying Aylin is the key to making Selûne turn from Her faithful. smth smth Aylin being immortal should've meant Selûne would never again experience the grief of losing a child. smth smth Moonhaven losing Selûne's favor to the point of destruction after Aylin was imprisoned. smth smth a [former] Selûnite turned to Shar's Chosen slaying Aylin being the true key to make Selûne grieve so hard / experience such a loss She turns from her faithful and is in no fit state to oppose the shapechanger and his army of Dark Justiciars. smth smth if Aylin is slain she'll be reborn as the Nightsong in truth, now bound to Shar's darkness, further complicating any opposition Selûne might raise. This both is and is not her beloved daughter.

Not me forgetting to post about the absolute joy that was At the Wedding because life got insane. Anyway I saw it and me from a month ago was right, I am fully obsessed and in love with this play. It’s funny and witty and a little bit heartbreaking. Mary Wiseman is a comedic genius and watching her kick comedy ass for an hour plus was beyond words. The whole cast was stellar and I’m so happy I got to see it with all the Covid stuff going on.

I went into the city just for this and it was 1000% worth the hours in the car. I can’t recommend it enough and if my instagram feed is right they added another week to the run in May due to COVID. So if you are anywhere near New York City and have thought about it at all snag a ticket or two. This funky gay masterpiece of a show has my heart.
