☆You two left the hospital in shock, and you were only now starting to understand what the doctor meant.

☆You wanted to cry so badly but nothing was coming out of your eyes, and they just stayed open and with the wind it made them hurt.

☆Scaramouche finally took you in his arms and placed your head on his chest while kissing your head, you could even felt tears falling from his eyes.

☆It was only now you started crying.

☆You hugged him so tightly like for escaping the sad truth.

☆Weeks later you were still sad and didn't want to leave your home.

Man Jojo, Ninew, Ninepinta and Vivienne know exactly how to build a mess because this was OUTSTANDING. Here's how the pimps and hoes are stacking up this week.

THIS NASTY SHITBAG MOTHERFUCKER YAAASSSSSS KWEEEEN! Boston spent the entire episode mansplaining, manipulating and manwhoring and considering that is what this whole show is even about he fucking wins the week! Stringing Nick along, spewing poison into Top's and Ray's ears, fucking Top nasty in a classic automobile...I don't care what any of you say, he's the winner.

Don’t define it. Just enjoy your life. You said you could differentiate between love and lust.

This dizzy bitch. This messy mess-ass hoe. Playing with everybody's feelings because he can never face up to his own and just fucking deal with his shit. Everybody is correctly fed up of his bullshit, including Sand and Sand LITERALLY JUST MET HIM. Sand telling him to save his money for a shrink was the best advice any character has ever given any other character on any show anywhere.

Can friends with benefits turn into lovers?

Well the boy is dumb but he's not dumb if you know what I mean. Boston is screwing with his head and he knows it, but he just can't help himself cuz dick2bomb. They say you should never actually get your crush, and this is why. Nick being a sneaky surveillance spy bitch is the main reason Boston should've never messed with him, because now he's gonna go NSA on his ass. He wants that man and he will have him, whatever it takes.

If you want a boyfriend, get yourself a boyfriend. Don't mess with me.

SAND YOU KNOW BETTER! YOU KNOW THIS MAN IS A MESS! AND YET YOU ARE STILL FALLING FOR HIS CHARM. Sand giggling and twirling his hair with Ray in the car was...it was embarrassing. I'm embarrassed for you sir. Sack the fuck up. Like when you threw Top the middle finger, more of that. Also, what the fuck happened between those two TELL ME JOJO!

We have our first sighting of Yo in the rankings! Homegirl clearly has all her shit together: a thriving business, a hot and devoted younger man, and a house full of kids who stay drinking her dranks and eating her food because they can't get their shit together. So he totally planted that guy at the silent disco right? Seemed like a weird play to push Mew along. Because at 3 months, the game's probably gotten a bit boring, especially if Mew's not even giving him the occasional sniff at it to keep him on the hook. Top likes a challenge and he sorta likes Mew, but if Mew really did screw Ray, maybe he's not so interested anymore. To be clear: I absolutely do not think Top is jealous, more like the shine wears off Mew for him if Mew has succumbed before. I still don't trust a thing coming out of this man's mouth, but the way he worked Boston OUT in that car is worth at least a one-rank jump.

-Are you drunk and taking advantage of me? -Don’t you like it though?

Mew is this week's biggest loser, falling the furthest from last week as his shtick starts wearing thin. Mew's overplayed his hand a bit here: his testing of Top has gone on too long. He doesn't even dispute Top calling him his boyfriend even as he insists they're not dating yet. He was totally about to give it up after the party because I think he realised he had gone from a challenge to a bore, but he waited too late, Boston had a chance to get into everybody's head and now it's all fucked. When he finally sleeps with Top next week it's not a victory for him, it's a capitulation. Also, WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED WITH HIM AND RAY I NEED TO KNOW LIKE RIGHT NOW I CAN'T WAIT A WHOLE WEEK!

Guys, I think I’m gonna throw a pool party.

Poor Cheum, the only person to remember they are in fact trying to run a fucking business and actually working at the pool party rather than causing and/or engaging in drama, and April right by her side just helping her woman out because her so-called friends are a dumpster fire. “Well, they invited me first for a reason,” Sonic curtly remarked, pouting as he shamelessly took the taunt. The cute clothes adorning you were all thanks to his appraisal, and the blue bow on your choker was Sonic’s tiny way of staking his claim on you… he was allowed to do that as part of his reward, right? “Hey, [Name], you said they’re serving chili dogs?!”

“Uh, no, I didn’t?! It’s a café, you dummy!” Huffing, you released both of their hands in congruence with skipping ahead—all in favor of pointing out the aforementioned café. “There it is! Isn’t it cute?♡”

The only thing the two boys were enthralled with was the radiant grin on your countenance, their cheeks powdering with rosy hues.

Entering inside, they both discerned how luxurious the place was; it was swathed in lavish, glittering banners, yet retained an antique atmosphere that coalesced together. “And don’t worry, it’s my treat!” you winked at them as you took your seats.

Sonic and Shadow both made a conspicuous beeline for the spot next to you, but as Shadow dug his heel into Sonic’s foot and caught him off-guard, he was able to deftly purloin that empty, coveted seat beside you.

With a moue twisted onto his lips, Sonic plopped down directly across from you. Well, this wasn’t so bad—he could stare right at your face this way! Even though Shadow was shuffling awfully close to you…

“I usually just take my coffee black,” Shadow divulged as he leaned over to read from your menu despite the fact that he had one of his own before him.

Poking his tongue out in disgust, Sonic retorted, “I bet you’re one of those guys that think that’ll impress your crush~” And he was promptly met with a biting scowl, one that Sonic concluded that if looks could kill, he’d be extinguished right where he sits.

“I actually wanted to get the new menu items. They have a heavy emphasis on love and hearts,” you exclaimed, patently bashful about your own suggestion as the two hedgehogs with you immediately fixed their eyes on that specific section.

“Oh, we can share this, [Name],” Shadow softly said, pointing out a lovey-dovey parfait meant to share between lovers, except… “—Ow, dammit!” From underneath the table, Sonic harshly kicked Shadow in the shin.

You were understandably perplexed by the abrupt outburst, but in order to avoid you catching on to anything, Shadow quickly said, “I changed my mind, so I’ll take your recommendation.”

Nodding in spite of your own confusion, the three of you decided to get a plethora of things and share amongst yourselves. Well, you definitely got Shadow his black coffee and Sonic a non-caffeinated tea.

It wasn’t too long after that your desserts began piling up on the table, overlaying all the free space with the abundance of it all. “This might’ve been overkill, [Name]...” Sonic chuckled, beads of sweat dripping from his head.

“Better start eating!” you cheered, enraptured with the tantalizing treats and already shifting your focus off the boys and onto devouring as much as you could.

Shadow wasn’t a fan of sweet things—you didn’t count!—but for you, he’d sample a few things. And by a few things, he meant whatever you had; so whenever you’d pluck something off a plate, he’d follow suit and do the same.

“Ooh, [Name], that looks tasty!” Sonic proclaimed in a flash as he watched you take a spoonful of a pudding-like dish, diminutive drool converging in his mouth. “Feed me some♪”

Eyebrow twitching, Shadow watched as you rolled your eyes playfully before lifting the spoon over into Sonic’s opened mouth.

Sonic licked his lips, thinking that tasted much better than expected having come from you. “Mm, yummy!”

“What are you, a child? Eat it yourself, hedgehog,” Shadow snarled, his fingers already picking up a small, heart-shaped biscuit. Two can play at that game. “Here, [Name]. Open up.”

“Didn’t you just say that was childish?!” Sonic riposted with another glower on his face, only feeling his indignation magnify when Shadow cupped your cheek and poked the biscuit against your lips.

There was no harm in letting Shadow have a doting moment, you thought as you slowly pried your lips open. As Shadow fed you, he couldn’t cease the overflowing warmth inundating his chest. You looked so overjoyed munching away on the biscuit, humming cutely as you savored its buttery taste.

Sonic was palpably frustrated and jealous, the feelings flickering in his green eyes, and it only exacerbated when Shadow locked eyes with him with a complacent smirk.

You were blissfully unaware of the rivalry happening secretly between the two, never even noticing the surge of electricity shooting from their eyes at each other, and as you continued to eat away, you’d likely stay that way.

she worries incessantly, pretty hands fluttering around her face like startled doves when you show even a slight hint of discomfort, becoming a harried and frazzled version of herself, a far departure from her normal, smooth-talking and put-together demeanor. she knows you're barely suffering in truth, but nevertheless her concern motivates her to ask you questions and check on you every few minutes, the repetition both maddening and flattering.

it's out of character in such a bizarre and flattering way, it brings heat to your face when you hear your friends commenting on how they've never seen her so nervous about another person before, you can see that they're joking but also semi serious. even though she disguises her genuine worry with forced exasperation and demands that you repay her later when you're feeling better, she instantly follows up with requests that you allow her to take care of everything because she doesn't want you exerting yourself.

she sits by your bed all day, speaking with you in quiet tones, giving a small demonstration on astrology and laughing when you try to touch the wheel of glimmering water only to be gently splashed. whenever you appear nauseous or pained, her face softens into a gentle concern, placing her hand on your forehead, the coolness emanating from her skin causing the tension to leak from your shoulders. with a relieved breath you thank her sincerely and she blushes furiously, crossing her arms over her chest and refusing to respond.

even though her methods may be varied (with seemingly no rhyme or reason to many of them), she simply wants to see you feeling better. it leaves a strange, aching feeling in her chest when she sees the lack of energy in your voice and movements, she's willing to devote any amount of time to comfort and help you. it's an awkward benevolence that she's clearly still clumsy with, stumbling over the sweet reassurances that she means to cheer you up with, but she's so obviously trying so hard that you feel like you have to be getting at least a little bit better.

♪ ZHONGLI

though you being sick worries him like it would anyone else, he doesn't allow you to see him in any state of anxiety, because he doesn't want to leave you fearful; he is unshakable, untouchable, composed and steady at all times with a serenely unbothered exterior, calm peacefulness radiating from him as he tucks your hair behind your ear, promising you he'll be right back and he's only leaving for a second to get something to eat.

truthfully, he wants you to be able to think of this as a time where you can have anything you want, rather than a time that you're cooped up inside with nothing to do, a small adventure in its own way, surprising you with new, strange items every day. he offers dozens of sweet gestures that are shockingly thoughtful, leaving his wallet in tatters; the only thought in his head -- as it is most days -- being how to make you feel better.

he places a bouquet of mist flowers in a vase by your bed, declaring that the cold energy emanating from them would make you feel much better, and writes long love letters that he scatters around the house on pieces of beautiful, shimmering silken fabric with expensive, high-quality ink. and then, when he finally runs out of money, he scours liyue's expansive hills and beaches for eye-catching treasures that bring a smile to your face when he tells you where he discovered them.

his dedication to you during this time is surprisingly sincere; his desire to make sure you're entirely comfortable and not bored or distressed in any way, an almost laughable devotion that shows in his eyes when he looks at you, an expression that you're unaccustomed to seeing in the sharp lines of his face. it softens it in a way that's different from the detached intrigue and smooth affection you've seen from him before. while you're sick, he gives encouragements in a quiet tone, telling you to take as much time as you need to recover, and makes good on the promise that he'll be there the whole time with whatever you need.

♪ YOIMIYA

she loves so fiercely, so enthusiastically, that it almost takes you off guard whenever she expresses it, a steadfast, reliable shine that glimmers in her eyes when she looks at you. it steals the breath from your lungs, the way she seems to promise you the world in return for barely a second of company, somehow invulnerable to boredom and willing to spend hours in your room, rambling through one sided conversations while you smile sheepishly and point at your sore throat.

an overachiever forever and always, she stretches herself to the limit as she tries to make you comfortable as best she can, closing up shop for the first time in forever so she can make quick trips to every reachable restaurant in inazuma, her sandals clicking with lightning speed as she sprints around with rusty coins in her hands and a bright smile on her face when she thinks of you cheering up as you receive the snacks she's brought.

it's characteristic, but still oddly surprising, the fact that she would go to such lengths just for you. when you bring it up to her, asking shyly why she bothers, she tilts her head with an earnestly confused look and answers honestly and simply; that she wants to make you happy because you make her happy! her expression melts into a pleased smile as you laugh with a mix of embarrassment and happiness, thrilled minutely at your reaction.

she never presumes to worry, her cheerful surety blazing with the force of a thousand suns that her [name] will get better immediately. her faith in this is like a soft blanket wrapping around you, reassurance in a warm and protective eventuality, your own personal shiny good luck charm that glitters with her desire to take care of you, and with a victorious, adorable triumph that causes her to gleefully drag you out of the house to get some fresh air when you finally feel better.

♪ TIGHNARI

he is incurably overprotective, refusing to leave you alone when he suspects something may be wrong. you find it adorably infuriating but never deign to pretend when he's with you. you always tell him when you start to feel sick, knowing his learned prowess with medicine, and like clockwork he rushes to your house brandishing bottles of powders and herbs a minute later. after a brief examination of your symptoms, he declares you'll be fine soon, sighing as the panic leaves his expression. the color seeps back into his ashen face, and he places a hand over his heart declaring exasperatedly that one of these days you're going to give him a heart attack.

you both know he only pretends to harbor this irritation, a false, easy annoyance that allows him to shield himself from true worry. illness, especially in sumeru, means decay and death, and he'll never let you get anywhere near the state of even the less sick people he's needed to treat. it's easy to tell how much he truly cares from the tiny moments of genuine fear over your condition, and the force of his 'doctor's orders.' of course, he tells you without question and allowing you no room for argument to stay in bed until you feel completely better.

just as he's about to leave, you request entertainment, complaining that it's the least he could do for keeping you cooped up all day. after a brief argument, he crosses his arms, feigning being bothered by your cheerful requests to hear about his day, and offers you stories of adventuring in the deepest parts of the jungles, embellishing details when he can get away with it because your eyes light up with every new and dangerous encounter. you sit there for hours until your eyelids start to flutter shut; you're asleep in a matter of moments. his face heats bright red at the twinge that runs through his chest when he looks at you and he quickly exits your house, closing the door gently and covering his embarrassed, betraying smile with one hand.

somehow, in an insincere attempt at humility, you never thought to consider that his ridiculous devotion, so strangely specific to you, was motivated by more than the ordinary desire to see his patients get better, that your enthusiastic thank yous are like fireworks going off in his head, and when he spouts off a flurry of scornful directions to stop getting sick altogether, it's to hide the way he is helplessly unable to cover his gaze to your eager expression, every thought on your safety until he knows there's no danger and he can breathe easy again.

Hobies face was now one of shock, and you both sat on his bed as you tell him watch happened.

“Oh, man, I’m so sorry.” He said after you explained. Tears started to well and you didn’t feel like holding any more tears back, he quickly hugged you as you wept on his shoulder.

“I- I don’t know what to do. I have nowhere to go or-“

“It’s alright, it’s alright. Don’t worry ‘bout it right now. Your parents are right assholes.”

You laughed quietly, wiping away and tear and pulling away from him.

“I know.”

Deuce: Guess you and I see eye to eye sometimes, Ace. I feel like at this rate, we'll never be finished.

Trey: Hey now, don't slack off. We need to make sure the lawn is perfect for the Unbirthday Party.

Cater: And if the yard is in disarray, it won't look good in picture. After you finish weeding, then comes the mowing ♪ Good luck!

Ace: Eeeh～ Why do the first years have to do this～?

the Leo/need adjacent unit, composed of Ichika Hoshino, Airi Momoi, Ena Shinonome, and Minori Hanasato. ☆ a girl who's lost her friendships, and three others searching for their worth.

about the group's name: ♡ originally, i had "from here to there" in mind, but someone from the Discord gave me the name "destination point" and i thought it was much better, so i went with that. ♪

about the SEKAI: ♡ the Train SEKAI. no one knows when it left, or where it's going - just that it never stops. it's the perfect place for those who feel like they're lagging behind. just close your eyes and let yourself be carried away, right? but maybe there's something you can do… starts with a Miku and a Rin. the former's hardworking and talented, but the latter struggles - Rin is somewhat influenced by Ena's (and, to a lesser extent, Airi's) jealousy towards others.

Ichika hasn't managed to rekindle her friendship with her friends, and she's not doing particularly well. At one point, she meets Airi - who just quit being an idol. The two start talking and become friends, at which point they end up forming a band together. Airi wants to try finding a place where she could finally be taken seriously.

Ena's invited by Airi, and Minori - who had failed auditions recently - ends up inspired by Ichika's kindness, Airi's drive and Ena's determination, which is how she joins. (Haruka completely gave up on being an idol; something Minori is saddened by.)

In my mind, Ichika plays the guitar; Airi, the drums; Minori, the keyboard and Ena, the bass.

IDEAL HEAVEN! (IH)

the MORE MORE JUMP! adjacent unit, composed of Mafuyu Asahina, Emu Otori, Mizuki Akiyama and Shizuku Hinomori. ☆ an up-and-coming idol group that combines cuteness and sophistication.

about the SEKAI: ♡ quite similar to the Empty SEKAI, but with some idol influences - a broken stage with no one in sight. there's no bright lights, no colorful props. nothing. that SEKAI both comforts and pains Mafuyu. home to a lone Miku. sweet, hopeful, but genuinely crushed by the pressure she's feeling.

Mafuyu's mother wants a perfect child. idols are very frequently represented as being perfect - so, she decides that her daughter should become one, too. Mafuyu's not keen on the idea, but that's her mother; she's obedient, so she goes along with it.

Shizuku still quit Cheerful * Days, but instead of stopping altogether she ends up with Mafuyu. Emu wants to make people smile, but no one ever came; Wonderlands × Showtime was never a thing. so she decides to become an idol instead, even if it means she'll never bring back the Wonder Stage to its former state.

Mizuki's half-dragged into IDEAL HEAVEN! by Emu, who saw them looking with interest at idol merch. after bringing them to meet Mafuyu and Shizuku, Mizuki ends up accepting - the idea of wearing cute clothes and being called cute doesn't seem too terrible.

READY MADE SUCCESS (RMS)

the Vivid BAD SQUAD adjacent unit, composed of Haruka Kiritani, An Shiraishi, Shiho Hinomori and Akito Shinonome. ☆ two street musicians chasing after their dream, and the two girls they brought with them.

about the SEKAI: ♡ the Street SEKAI. weirdly, it seems Haruka's idol background has somewhat influenced its appearance. its inhabitants are Miku, Meiko and Len. this Miku is levelheaded, but it seems like there's something holding her back from going all-in...

after quitting being an idol, Haruka is invited by An to join her.

An's never met Kohane, and she never found a partner. Haruka is hesitant for a moment before deciding to give it a shot, though she keeps struggling with singing. Shiho tries getting more experience, meets Akito. no one really knows how these two ended together, but they both have a similar drive and take music very seriously.

eventually, they all start working together. Haruka deals with her guilt and, while she doubts she'll become an idol again, she's mostly made peace with what happened.

STARLIGHT ☆ EVERMORE (S ☆ E)

the Wonderlands × Showtime adjacent unit, composed of Tsukasa Tenma, Saki Tenma, Kanade Yoisaki and Toya Aoyagi. ☆ a strange troupe of people who aim to help others through their performances.

about the SEKAI: ♡ still very much Tsukasa's, so it's the Wonderland SEKAI. [kanade goes there for the first time and dies. alas, they're still a shut-in and this place is simply too colorful for her poor eyes.] starts with a Miku and a Kaito, though this version of the former uses far less onomatopoeias.

Tsukasa figures he needs to show the world how much of a star he is himself, and he drags his siblings into it (with varying degrees of willingness).

a part of Saki still wishes she could be in a band with her friends; she's only somewhat managed to repair her friendship with Ichika. but she's still happy to do something fun and lighthearted after all her struggles. Toya's very excited to do something with Tsukasa and his siblings. he also gets to stick it to his dad, which, honestly - is a bonus.

out of the three, Kanade is obviously the most hesitant about the whole thing. but she sees Tsukasa's drive to make others happy, something she shares with him, so she ends up agreeing. Kanade is… slightly healthier physically on account of the stubborn people looking after her, as well as all the exercise she does she does as part of Starlight ☆ Evermore. mentally? eh… we'll get there. i need her traumatized to be interesting. <3

LONELY SYNDROME (LS)

the 25-ji, Nightcord de. adjacent unit, composed of Nene Kusanagi, Rui Kamishiro, Honami Mochizuki and Kohane Azusawa. ☆ hidden behind avatars, these citizens of the web tell stories online.

about the SEKAI: ♡ the arcade SEKAI. this Miku is shy and withdrawn, though she one day hopes she'll be able to break out of her shell, just like Nene. alongside her is Luka - she has a bit of a teasing attitude and a catlike personality, but she always does her best to boost Nene's confidence.

about the group's name: ♡ syndrome refers to a group of symptoms - i paired it with the word lonely because i felt like it represented the atmosphere of an arcade. you're connected with people who share your interests, but at the same time, you're sort of separate from them. surrounded by people, but utterly alone…

Nene's social anxiety hasn't gotten better over the years. since she never joins Wonderlands × Showtime, she doesn't learn how to fight her stage fright.

but, she finds an alternate solution; using an avatar online. it's less stress-inducing, and it lets her pursue acting, in a way - it's not what Nene wants, but it's close enough. she figures she could be satisfied with that. Rui ends up figuring out what she's doing, and asks if he can help. Nene doesn't really have any reason to say no, so they start working together.

as for Honami and Kohane, they ended up on Nene's channel by pure accident. but her performances quickly became a comfort to them, since they were struggling at the time (the former because she no longer had her friends, the latter because of her lack of confidence).

unfortunately, ignoring your problems only goes so far, and eventually, her feelings give birth to the arcade SEKAI.

Ok so I had an idea, if it would be fun: designs for the yanderapy boys as Just Desserts versions! Was thinking about the Vargas sweets designs, and that one art style that's out there with the neon candy looking blood/'cute' horror stuff going on, and it became a WHOLE mental image, lol. I feel like there's potential, and I'm not sure if you've already done something like this, but figured I'd put it out there!

The students of Reimei Academy have already fallen prey to the anger and hatred that have accumulated throughout their lives.

Towards those that they detest with all their being, they’re unable to sweep it all under the rug, and allow bygones be bygones.

Ibara: Well, if they did all band together as friends, then I'd be in something of a pickle myself! Mr. Tatsumi Kazehaya's ideology and capitalism don't mix well, after all. It sufficiently counters the latter.

That's no way to run a business, you see? I'm against the idea entirely.

The plan was to force him out of Reimei Academy entirely by pushing an unreasonable amount of expectations onto him, so much that his well-being would falter and he would drop out...

But unfortunately, it would seem Mr. Tatsumi Kazehaya is stronger than expected. Not once did he break, falter, or give in. Instead, he's done the opposite: no matter how persecuted he becomes, he only rises again and again from the ashes akin to a phoenix.

What a nuisance... Though at the same time, I do respect it. If we didn't have such a conflict of interest, I'd absolutely welcome such a stupendous person as a brother in arms!

LENA...! 🥹🥹 I love you hi! This is very rambly. I love all of ra*bits and how they work together, as a unit, so much! I feel bad picking a favourite and am quite indecisive. Obviously I feel more connected to Hajime I feel due to others associations of him with me he lives in my heart, I'm so protective of Mitchuru like wow he's so wonderful and so awfully overlooked, and then Nito is Nito... ♡♡♡ but my favourite officially is probably Tomopyon?! He's stuck in my heart forever, a delightful boy who is so normal except no he isn't due to the ambiguous disorder! He's so silly and so beautiful, and he was my first favourite all because of Lena. Which is funny because your old all time ansta favourite then was Hajime, wasn't it? Yaoi, friendship, and ambiguous stuff below;

Uuu... I'm not anti polyrabits, it is not the devil to me, they can kiss if they want it is cute! It is I think about it! But I like rabits in general way more as it is, finding worth in it not being romantic when it comes to the themes at play and their dynamic. It's just way more compelling to me that way, the power of platonic love and friendship Saving You is so important that it almost feels a bit reductive, they can all love each other very much without it having to be romantic at all. If they look up to Nito and have puppy crushes it's kind of sweet... and mitsuhaji is cute. But I think they're really special & love is at the core of it all regardless, so it doesn't need to be made romantic. I so often think about how Nito was supposed to save them but they ended up saving him...

TOMOHAJI IS SO IMPORTANT AND SO INTERESTING TO ME THEY'RE SO CRAZY 🫠😵‍💫 I think they're the most romantic out of the rabits pairs to me although I love them as just friends too because THE THINGS THEY HAVE GOING ON AND HOW THEY TALK ABOUT EACH OTHER... GOT DAMN! It is very personal. Their long-lasting friendship, and how Hajime gets about it at times... BAH. It's kind of crazy. Tomohaji lookback scout? 🥹 ... "He's only been getting cuter lately, to the point where my heart would skip a beat at times... I think everyone would also fall in love with Hajime the moment they chat with him...♪" enough oh my gah. I like when hajime forced him to drink tea that was funny. Sometimes it feels like Tomopyon is blithely unaware of Hajime’s feelings... sad. But they're so special to me.

Outside of rabit x rabit... Mitsusorakasa got me CRUNK they're so CUTE and SPECIAL and it's funny how they are all honestly overlooked members of the units they're in ahaha and not quite taken seriously and it's sad, but they are just so sweet and should hold hands and have cuddle piles 😵‍💫😵‍💫 oh my gaw. Tomohokke is also so crazy everyone knows that you cannot take them anywhere. When Mitsuru was like "Didn’t you really like that Hokuto-senpai person? I guess it’s natural that you’d have some complicated feelings about this~?" & "Geez, he’s going to slip away because you’re dawdling you know! If you like him, you gotta let him know!" 😭😭😭 MITSURU!!!! TELLING TOMOPYON THAT HE'S FUMBLING THE BAG. I... Really care for Maguro and Mitsuru. I think about Maguro a lot. 🥹...

Teaclub. I love teaclub. AGH! It's so important to Ritsu & Eichi and Hajime plays such an important role and I feel almost bad for him, all alone in yumenosaki, teaclub-less & made to cope with the Eichi cut-out. 🥹😭 Ibahaji... I love how Ibara treats him as an equal... I love Ibanyan and Jimenyan (LENA MENTIONED!) I love bogie time I love how they still call themselves this to this day and what a positive impact it'll have on Ibara and perhaps even both of them, yuri or not, it's awesome they mean so much to me I will cry and die if no one's got me bogie time and ibahaji got me even though other parts of bogie time are so cute and funny too. I love Hajime and his friends so much! SUBAHAJI AND THEIR MOVIE DATE AND HOW HAJIME BLUSHED...? The talk about marriage?! They're crazy, although I'm not too invested in them romantically to the point I always think about them, but it's like, omg!!!! These guys never stop being yaoi!!! I think his friendships with Tsukachan and how Tsukachan would sometimes get jelly about him & Anzu is so silly and I love that card they have together my favorite cameos are Hajime cameos, and how cute and funny he and Midori are in biblio, bah...! I haven't invested too much time in hajitori but they're so cute together? Little pink and blue angels?! Mitsuru and Mama make me crazy sometimes. Track and field club!!!! I LOVE TEAM GOD ALSO I think nagisa sora and mitsuru should all be friends

Obviously theatre club when your circle small but all yall crazy. Wataru shouldve gotten a job to be quite honest. Just kidding because I love him. Their dynamic is so so funny

I love branco as a shuffle unit so much that I have pondered poly branco. I love that they are friends. I think Sora and Hajime deepening their bonds could be very valuable. Aichan is special to me as you may know, and the way Hajime compares Aichan to Tomoya due to their idol fan ways and spends time with him and calls himself Aichan's number one fan and asks him to never give up... 🥹 all of the branco interpersonal relationships are special to me!

I think it is really, really funny that Hajime loves Eichi and every other member of rabits would be happier if he died.

Shunazu makes me turn into the joker and I will forever be sick about it, from dragonfruit all the way to how Nito is still traumatized in certain ways that make my heart feel squeezed at, Mika's misplaced, complicated feelings towards Nito and all of the madness to do with Shu and Nito and how he was his muse and he still IS 😭 oh he still is! Nito just wants him to be happy... I see shmk fans erase Shu's past a lot. It is so important and shouldn't be, I feel, it only adds more value to valkyrie as it does to Nito I feel though I've complained about this before. So very nuanced... I've said much about ex valkyrie especially when it's about Mika's feelings about Nito I could speak about that specifically forever but I won't allow myself to right now it's just something diabolical to me. When Nito noticed Shu looked tired and asked if something was wrong and if he would help him, and also, Shu's feelings towards rabits... wah. People tend to forget human comedy is a rabits story too. The influence his time in valkyrie had over Nito's early unit leader behaviours and his projection onto the babits I think I will be sick. I would like to see them, especially shunazu, reconnect... I don't like how exvalk fans treat Nito at times & how they tend to reduce his character and only focus on when he was a shell of himself instead of celebrating how comfortable he is in his own skin now and how he can even be brutal at times, not that I dont love to focus on exvalk Nito, but there's something about how Nito-only nonrabits fans talk about him. You know? Shnz makes me smile still in spite of everything.

He was so funny during that livestream shumugi hosted and Nito was in the chat like "repentance" sure is an interesting theme ♪ and Shu shut his gay mouth and refused to make a comment. Imagine your ex pulling that move..!!! But seriously, they are so very fascinating and evil to me. The type of relationship that tears me from the inside out because both Shu and Nito make me sick.

A controversial romantic pair, I don't always like 1y×3y but tsumuhaji makes me crazy, I'm sorry, I have so many headcanons for them and everything. Even platonically, I think it's delightful! But uuu boyfriends. Tsumugi smells lavenders and thinks of him...

On your season 8 comments, wdym about the cupid scene with the paired versus not paired couples?

So, firstly. I'm sorry my commentary turned into me skipping through season 8 and rambling like a wildman.

(It will happen again.)

What I meant when I talked about that scene, is that we see Dean's TV scene, it’s narratively solitary. Then, it's followed by the happy couple's TV scene showing them paired up. (I'll zoom in on it below.)

I'd seen the symbolism of Cupid discussed before, and even the arrows in Dean's trunk, but I hadn't seen the mated TV Dwight-Rod scene pointed out in comparison to Dean's "empty, incomplete" TV scene.

Soooo…. I thought it could be fun!

Dean drinks and looks surly. Then, he gets visually "shot" by Love. Cas enters.

DEAN SCENE: Aim. Fire. Boom. Straight at Dean, who looks to Cas as he enters the room. It's not that Dean was "hit" by Cupid and is being controlled by Heaven...it's symbolic of the situation. It's Dean's own free will.

He loves Cas. He clung to him in Purgatory and tried to tell him in the Crypt.

DEAN: "Anything? You've been gone long enough." CAS: "No. Anything here?"

Cas tells Dean he might die. They stare at one another, regretful but choosing to hold onto their respective duties and familial obligations. (It's how they tick. They know this about each other. They like this about each other, just as much as it frustrates them.)

When Dean asks Cas if he's sure about leaving, Cas gives him a sad, watery little smile. Dean was hopeful, but now he's trying to accept their fate to be apart. "So this is it?" Dean says, then pivots to an E.T. joke in the midst of his emotional pain.

DWIGHT & ROD CUPID SCENE:

I tried to zoom in, but it's still hard -> On the TV scene, we get this on the screen, a red-shirted "Rod" image and the tan-shirted "Dwight" image.

This is what Dean's TV scene lacks, symbolizing that Dean feels alone--that he and Cas are not on the same page about their Big Feelings.

The Cupid enters. When Dwight asks where the usual deliveryman Ed is, she says, "Flu. I'm Gail." (Dean has been telling everything that Sam has the flu, btw, to explain away the Hell Trial symptoms. While Ed is away, Gail strikes. And while Sam is away..."Joy" strikes.) Rod ("island of reeds, phallic symbol;" also, his hat has blue wings "American Natural Freight & Transport") and Dwight ("white, smile, laughter;" giver of beer and safe harbor) are both enamored by the weapon on TV.

The TV scene is in a forested area, not unlike the wooded nightmare of Purgatory, where Dean realized his commitment to Cas and extended his hand. He told Cas that he wanted him to "come home." Cas and Dean have the same issue with suicidality/worthlessness /duty, but narratively, they're trying to escape together. (That's a comrade theme in SPN; trying to heal over that looming feeling of suicidality.)

Below the TV is a small oval frame of a twin waterfall/bluff, meeting and overflowing. It's reminiscent of the cliff near where Cas let go of Dean's hand, in Purgatory.

Anyway, Rod and Dwight have a traditionally masculine interest in common here, like how Dean and Cas are both warriors, and they like that about each other. The screen shows the two men, walking side by side in camaraderie, and then it changes to a firing bow. The music emphasizes that, not only do they fall in love, but they like each other first. As friends. Weird quirks n' all.

[GAIL places a hand each man’s shoulders and smiles.] GAIL: I'll be seeing you both. [GAIL smiles and gathers her clip board and begins to leave.] Thanks for the help. DWIGHT: No problem. [GAIL leaves the bar and DEAN stares at the scene confused thinking GAIL was going to be the person DWIGHT was to have a match with. DWIGHT and ROD stare at the hunter on TV as he displays the use of his bow.] BOTH MEN [at the same time]: Damn, that's sweet. [After the men say the same thing at the same time, they stare into each other’s eyes and music plays.] ♪ Oh, it's so nice to be with you ♪ I love all the things you say and do ♪ DWIGHT: How about the next one's on me? ♪ And it's so nice to hear you say ♪ you're gonna please me in every way ♪

CAS CUPID SCENE:

Castiel's cupid scene is darker. This is the bookend mate to Dean's scene, the bow is now aimed at Cas, who stands in close proximity to Dean, on the precipice of decision. An open palm is extended to Cas, representing love freely given...and forgiveness.

Dean forgave him for taking the souls, something that led to Bobby's death, and for breaking Sam's wall. Dean looked for him, then told him, "Hang on!" and clung to his hand in Purgatory. In the crypt, Dean said he loved needed him.

Now, Cas cuts off the bow, just like how he threw off Dean's hand in Purgatory. Cas rejects love. And Supernatural is about love...and love. Tremendous familial love and fidelity...and this. We see his blade come up in response to being symbolically "hit" by romantic love. It's ominous.

(Perhaps, he doesn't know how to respond? He's been a soldier for bajillions of years.)

The next scene shows his rejection, as Cas walks with the cut-off heart of the Nephilim in place of his kitchen stores, and Dean's hand is out of shot (he's on the phone).

But visually, Dean's hand is "cut off," just like Cupid's was. Season 8 is all about Cas rejecting love due to the heavy weight of shame and guilt. He may not recognize it, or he may not feel deserving. To deserve it, he has to do penance, and he has to "fix" things first. It's a fatal mistake.

Cas holds a bag containing bloody, innocent human-angel remains, and the cut-off hand of human love.
