Yes, I'll admit it, I was a terrible mormon. Put up a fight to go to church and seminary sometimes, hated youth, never read my scriptures and lied throughout seminary only to graduate. I lied to my bishop every time I was in his office, I never paid my tithing, I broke my fast because I hated fasting, I swore a LOT, I've never wanted to go on a mission.

That did not prevent me from feeling devastated when I found out the truth. I was broken for a while. I hated it, I was in denial for a long time. I kinda did want to leave, but I didn't want to face the idea that it wasn't true, and the fact that it isn't true was so heart wrenching.
