GIVE US HOWZER? ANYTHING? PLEASE?
Tumblr media
PROMISED      ;     captain howzer / reader
summary: and that was the moment hera realized you and the captain are definitely more than co-workers.
pairing: captain howzer / twi'lek!reader
a/n: this is most hera-centric but god i love her. here's some tender howzer content because we all know he loves strong women. referenced this ryl dictionary for some little bits and pieces! also, this beautiful gif is by @e-zra, from this gifset of howzer.
Moments of peace were rare nowadays.
Hera Syndulla seemed to see to it that they were even rarer.
"Hera..."
Your uttered complaint does little to satiate the young girl — that, you suppose, is Chem's side of her soul. Though her mother, Eleni, held a dash of mischief in her own heart, you'd come to realize that most of Hera's quirks were born from her father's influence.
She was headstrong; and when she wanted something, she got it.
Like now, when she's dragging you from the celebratory dinner, excusing you both. It wasn't as if you had any stake in staying. After all, Howzer had excused himself from the meal before it even began. Something about a debrief.
All the time to celebrate when the war is won, General.
Hera's hand is tight around your own as she drags you away from your more... political duties — and you're almost thankful.
Almost.
"Where are we going, lia’ry," the fond Ryl nickname for the girl rolls off your tongue as your lekku swat in irritation, "You're going to rip my arm off—"
"You have to show me," she babbles, out of breath as she drags you down the newly reclaimed corridors of the palace, "You promised—"
"Not during dinner—"
Hera suddenly stops dead in her tracks; a look of pure irritation sweeps across her face as she prods you in the stomach. Her own lekku have gone rigid, lips pulled into a pout.
"You've been gone for weeks, Alema!" she nearly shouts, looking as if she's about to be five again and stomp her feet.
You tsk, bending down. "Hera, you know I had no choice."
You didn't — no, you'd been by Chem's side for the last cycle, pushing back the occupation with success that has granted you this stay in the Southern Province. The palace, once home to the region's ruling family, is settled on lake — here, south of the Capital's border, the dust isn't so prevalent. It's not as dry. It's... well, it's beautiful.
"But, you promised."
"Promised what, exactly?"
You'd know that voice anywhere.
Your eyes lift from Hera's face, falling on the Captain and his gaggle of troopers meandering down the corridor. In the moonlight, Howzer looks... happy. Calm. Not so rigid, not so formal.
A rare sight.
It's like your whole world stops — just long enough that Howzer can offer a smile that makes the corners of his eyes wrinkle, and you're left staring at up him with parted-lips.
Moons protect me.
You try to will your lekku to relax. You can't help that the ends swat in interest. Hera watches, with dawning intrigue, as you try to hide the language behind your posture, and ignore the delicate tinkering sound the jewelry adorning them creates. Your dress pools against the cool clay tiles as you remain at Hera's level.
The young girl squints at you.
"Captain," you nod in soft greeting, "We were just talking about—"
"—About how alema," the word means protector in your tongue. It's a titled earned as Eleni's lady-in-waiting, and by being Chem's second-in-command, "Has refused to show me her marksmanship—"
Your jaw falls open. "I have not refused—"
Your ay’kou, your brothers in arms, behind Howzer are sporting grins. Doom and Fog watch the exchange with genuine curiosity. When you lean around Hera, giving the boys a pleading look, you're met with little snickers.
They're quick to bid their Captain a goodnight and head down the corridor past you and Hera towards their makeshift bunks.
"Hera," comes Howzer's gentle nudge, "Aren't you supposed to be attending your father's dinner?"
"We both are—"
"Senator Taa slurps when he eats," comes the sudden sharp commentary from the girl as she pokes you once more, "You said it yourself—"
Howzer muffles a laugh into a cough as you slap a hand over Hera's mouth. You give her a stern look, whispering I said no such thing in your native tongue. Hera is fast to laugh — no doubt amused at how the Captain seems to hang off your reaction.
It wasn't often he saw you like this... no, they were used to the guerrilla fighter, the tactician, the dead-eye shot. Never had you ever anticipated him seeing you here, playing big sister to the General's daughter. Though you've known this role for a long time, the war has been preoccupying your time.
You're beautiful.
It's not a new revelation; no, Howzer has thought it from the moment he met you. But, now in the calm of peace, you look... good. Not so battered by war. Softer. Like a woman he could marry someday when it's all said and done.
"I think someone is getting a bit bold," you say as you stand, "Dragging me from my meal—"
"You hate bantha!"
"It's an expensive import!" you hiss back, waving your hands to shoo Hera, but it does little to dissuade her as she laughs. You can't help how your face splits in two at the sight of her smile. You reach, thumb smoothing over her headband in a sisterly manner.
You catch Howzer smiling again.
"Bantha steaks, then?" comes his amused rumble, "I'm jealous."
"Yes, well, I was going to come and find you, Captain — offer up some..."
This time Hera sees the interested swat of your lekku in full. She can sense that... oh. You two are speaking like there's a joke there. Like there's something else beneath the surface of this exchange.
Then, she catches the tips of your tattooed lekku curl at the sound of his laugh. It's an enamored expression between Twi's. A language Hera has seen between her parents many times...
Oh.
OH?
Hera blinks.
Father never said anything about alema and Howzer.
...Does Father even know about alema and Howzer?
Does mother?!
The girl blinks rapidly between the two of you, too preoccupied with a soft look to notice.
Forget target practice.
This is much more interesting.

The Case of the Animal Onesies Part Two
Part two to the mini series. I hope you all enjoy it and I love all the responses I’m getting.
Word Count: 400
Characters: Obi-wan, Anakin, Crosshair, Dogma, Hardcase, Rex and Cody
Enjoy and go give catawampuscorner some love.
***
Obi-wan groaned. “I’m going to do something awful to you that will make you cry.”
“Aw, Master. But you look so cute.” Anakin beamed from under his cat-eared hood.
“How many of these did you order Anakin?” Obi-wan demanded.
“As many as I could. And… I charged them to Mace’s account. Look! Howzer is a platypus. Oh! And I got Monnk a shark. Bly, I got a duck onesie.” Anakin held up outfit after outfit. “Boil and Waxer wanted to be similar so I got them a moth and butterfly.”
“Anakin,” Obi-wan growled. “I refuse to be part of this any longer.”
“Come on Master. It’s just for a few more days. Look, I’ll let you chose whatever you want to wear.” Anakin held up a possum outfit. “Isn’t this cute? It even has a tail to match.”
“Mine!” Crosshair came running by. He grabbed the onesie from Anakin and climbed up a bookshelf. He perched on the top holding the possum onesie to his chest. He stuck his tongue out at Anakin.
Anakin pouted. “Come on Cross. Obi was going to wear that.”
A loud cry broke out from the group of babies near the coloring area. Dogma, dressed in a brown spotted dog onesie was dragging another by the tail.
Obi-wan hurried over. Walking in a onesie was very difficult and he almost fell twice. “What seems to be the issue?”
“He’s coloring on Tup. We’re not supposed to color on people. It’s against the rules.” Dogma pulled Hardcase over to the corner.
Obi-wan stifled a grin. Okay. Maybe they were cute in these little onesies. Dogma was certainly adorable as he enforced the rule.
“It was a tattoo.” Hardcase stuck his tongue out at Dogma.
“Did Tup ask for a tattoo?” Obi-wan rubbed his hand across his chin to hide a grin at Hardcase’s petulance.
“No.” Hardcase scowled.
“Tup’s crying.” Rex came up to him. His little bunny outfit was so charming. Rex shoved a thumb in his mouth. “Help.” He spoke around his finger.
Obi-wan frowned. What was happening to the men? Were they acting more like children the longer they were like this?
“Obi?” Cody walked up to him, dragging a toy by a string. “Read?”
“I will in a minute, Dear one. I have to talk to Tup first.” Obi-wan headed over to Tup. He couldn’t shake the feeling that something was really wrong.

captain howzer: dressed in his dusty clone trooper uniform, expressing compassion for his friend and his family, showing general signs that his inhibitor chip isn’t really in full effect, that he can still tell right from wrong and that he really doesn’t want to do what he’s doing for the empire…

Paring: Captain Howzer (tbb) x fem reader
Chapter 7
I heard a firm knock on the door, I glanced over to check the time, it was almost 800. I walked over to the door and opened it, still a little nervous.
Admiral Rampart. He looked down at me and I felt his eyes wandering over every part of my body, unlike when Howzer had done it, it made me feel uncomfortable…I nervously shifted in my heels.
„I made an excellent choice“ Rampart stated with an arrogant smirk, pleased with the dress he chose for me to wear. He held out his arm for me and waited for me to take it. I didn’t want to and I didn’t needed help with walking…
„Oh, there really is no need for that, I can walk in those, Sir.“ I stuttered nervously and tried to sound as nice as possible. I added a „thank you“, that came out more as a whisper.
Rampart’s smile faded and his expression darkened a little, before he turned and walked ahead. I followed him nervously. We walked down a corridor and used a lift, that would lead us to the upper levels, where the dinner would take place. The silence got even more uncomfortable when we stood in the lift and waited for the door to open again. I felt the lift stopping and I let out a relived sigh, but before the door opened, I felt Rampart placing his hand on my lower back.
I swallowed the surprised gasp, that almost escaped my lips.
„Stay close and don’t say anything, just when I tell you to. Don’t forget you are my guest“ he said in a low threatening tone into my ear and the door slid open. I was still a little in shock because of his threat, so he pushed me into the large room, his hand never leaving my back. He greeted some of the other guests approaching and welcoming us. Rampart had switched to his professional and „friendlier“ persona.
I nodded at the other guests and forced a smile. Rampart didn’t care to introduce me to anyone, but right now, I was glad he didn’t.
Relaxing music was playing in the background, making me feel a little bit more relaxed. He was leading me through the crowd and I looked at all the different guests, many of them coming from different places from all over the galaxy. The lighting was dimmed and comforting, like the overall vibe the rooms were giving. They looked even a bit more luxurious, then in the other parts of the palace I had seen. Rampart lead me into another room as he was talking to some Twilek man.
This was probably the dining room. A very long table was in the middle of it and it was covered with all kinds of food already. I tried my best to appear professional and hide my excitement about the food.
„Oh, Admiral Rampart!“ I heard a deep voice say with enthusiasm from behind us. We turned around and Rampart smiled at the big blue Twilek man.
„Orn Free Taa!“ Rampart answered the man with not quite the same enthusiasm, but tried his best to look happy to see him. Rampart opened his mouth to say something, but Orn Free interrupted him.
„And who is this?“ The Twilek asked looking at me, I shifted nervously when his eyes wandered down my body. Rampart must have noticed cause he possessively wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer to him.
„She is my guest for tonight.“ He answered shortly and faked a smile. Rampart clearly wanted to talk about something else, but the Twilek didn’t even look at him and just continued asking.
„Is she your assistant or something?“ He paused and leaned closer to Rampart. „Cause I couldn’t focus on any tasks with that little thing walking around.“ Orn Free Taa said and laughed at his own comment. I didn’t even wait for Rampart’s reaction, before I took a step towards the Twilek.
„I am a stormtrooper in Captain Howzer’s battalion and if I may introduce myself, I am TK-777“ I said in a fake polite voice. Taa seemed to be a little shocked about me talking, so he just chuckled and turned away, mumbling something about the dinner being almost ready under his breath.
Suddenly I felt a firm grip on my arm dragging me towards Rampart. He whispered into my ear, and it was obvious that he was angry.
„What did I tell you about speaking without my permission?“
„I-I am sorry, Sir“ I stuttered scared. „it won’t happen again“
„You better make sure of it.“ Rampart said and returned his hand to my lower back again. „Now come. The dinner should start any minute now.“ We walked over towards the table, but before we sat down Rampart got greeted by another guest. I ignored him and my eyes couldn’t help but wander over the food.
„Figured you’d be here“ I heard a very familiar voice behind me, causing a shiver to run down my spine as I noticed how close he was.
„Howzer?“ I stuttered a little confused when I turned around. „Ehm. I meant captain…sorry sir“ I quickly corrected myself and looked into his eyes. He smiled at me and I found myself drowning in his eyes immediately.
„Not to worry“ he said softly and looked down on me. But not like the others had done it, in their almost animalistic ways…Howzer eyes were filled with admiration… „You look…breathtaking…“
I blushed at his comment and smiled. „You too“ I replied, even though he was wearing his typical armor, he always looked beautiful. My words caused him to chuckle and he nervously scratched the back of his head. „It’s just my armor…“
„I am not talking about the armor…“ I replied without thinking and almost regretting saying it, but the look he was giving me in response made me shiver and I felt my middle heating up. Howzer opened his mouth to say something, but suddenly Rampart interrupted us with a cough to get our attention. Howzer immediately straightened his posture and looked at the admiral with a serious expression. Rampart looked between us before he spoke.
„Let's sit down, shall we?“ He replied and nodded towards Howzer, who took a step back, away from the table. I looked at Rampart in confusion.
„Isn’t he having dinner with us?“ I asked.
Rampart shock his head and chuckled. „No, dear. The Twilek’s don’t really welcome clones…they remind them of the war.“ He explained and I blinked my eyes in disbelieve.
„From what I heard the clones are a big reason why Ryloth got free in the first place…“ I said to Rampart in a low voice. „Shouldn't they be thankful?“ I added and felt anger rising in me. I never understood the people disrespecting clones, but especially, if they had put their lives in danger and the many people they saved wouldn’t even show gratitude.
Even though I had lowered my voice, for only Rampart to hear, Howzer must have noticed something was bothering me and stepped closer to hear what I was saying.
„Don't worry about me, Seven“ Howzer said to ease up the situation and I noticed that Rampart grew more and more impatient with me.
„It shouldn’t be like that…he should be a guest at this dinner, not me.“ I stated and Rampart took a threatening step closer towards me, but this time I didn’t flinch. I knew I would regret it and wanted to continue talking, but suddenly Rampart grabbed my arm. This time his grip was so tight that it hurt, but I still didn’t show any sign of fear, which visibly left him surprised.
„Admiral-“ Howzer immediately wanted to step in, but Rampart stopped him with his other hand. And even though Rampart’s cold expression faced Howzer, he looked back just as serious as the admiral. „Let her go“ Howzer said in a low voice almost making it sound like a threat.
I didn’t want to get Howzer into any trouble so I placed my hand around Rampart’s wrist, not very strong, I just to get his attention back to me, before he could lash out on Howzer.
„I am sorry, Admiral. I just can’t help speaking up, when something doesn’t seem right.“
Rampart just stared at me for a while and then released his grip around my arm and nodded slowly.
„You better leave your thoughts to yourself.“ Rampart said and turned towards the table, where some of the guest started to take their seats. „One day, your pretty face won’t help you anymore…“ he said in a lower voice towards me, before he took his seat on the long table. Was this a threat?
Howzer had heard what the admiral had said to me and gently placed his hand on my shoulder to comfort me. „I am here. But he has a point, most people here wouldn’t agree with you and they don’t like to be told, they’re wrong.“ He said and smiled at me, before he pulled a chair back for me to sit on. I played along and during dinner I often found myself glancing over my shoulder. Only to find Howzer already looking at me, causing shivers to run over my body.
A nice couple was sitting next to us, they weren’t like the other politicians… they were really nice and friendly. As Rampart was talking to the blue twilek again, I felt a light tap on my shoulder.
„Hey, I love your dress“ the twilek woman next to me said with a smile, when I turned around to her. „Thank you, I love yours too“ I replied.
„I’m Eleni Syndulla and this is my husband Cham“ she introduced herself and pointed at the twilek man next to her. He was talking to another guest but gave me a quick smile, when he heard his name.
„My name is Seven“ I replied, causing her to look at me with confusion.
„Like the number?“ She asked curiously and I just nodded. „You have a last name…family name?“
I had feared this question would come sooner than later. The truth is, I did not remember my name or my family’s name…or pretty much anything else, than the voice of my parents screaming my name. The number I got as soon as I joined the imperial academy was my only name now.
I couldn’t help but nervously glance over at Howzer, unsure of how to respond. Eleni seemed like a really nice woman and I didn’t want to overshare with my tragic backstory…
To my relief she noticed that I was getting uncomfortable and accepted my silence on her question. „Nice to meet you Seven.“

✨Bad Batch E11 Spoilers✨
AAAAAAHHHHHHHH OMG OMG OMG OMG
Ok let's get into it y'all...welcome to my brain while watching E11
- OMG RYLOTH NOW???
-CROSS!
-SYNDULLAS!!!!!!!!!!! WHERE IS MOM???? IS CHOP WITH HER???
-Clone without helmet?  Clone I don't know? What???? We haven't seen a reg without their helmet as far as I can remember...Why do I get the feeling this guy's chip isn't 100%? Why else would they show us his face/give him some personality. Wait that's the other thing! Mans still has his armor painted and everything unlike all the other regs (not counting the Coruscant guard). Plus based on his pauldron I'm guessing he's an ARC trooper and they were more independent and creative thinkers than most of the regs........oh no Mr. Cowboy Hat Man is gonna kill him isn't he :(
- CHOPPER!!!!!! MY FAVORITE WAR CRIMINAL!!!!
- BABY HERA BABY HERA BABY HERA!!!! MOM YOU ARE SO SMALL RN AWWW I LOVE YOU
- My god there are no words to describe how happy I am to see Hera
- Ohhhhh his name is Howzer! Have we seen him before? I don't think so...I didn't forget a clone did I?!?!?!?!?!?!
-Not gonna report it? Yeah his chip isn't fully working is it. He seems nice pls don't murder him Dave. I know you will, but like don't.
- I get what Cham is saying, but like Gobi sounds more like Cham than Cham does
- AGH CROSS YOU'RE BALD! AGH CROSS I CAN SEE YOUR CRISPY BRAINS! SIR! LIKE THERE IS A LITERAL ✨C H U N K✨ MISSING FROM YOUR SKULL!
-WAIT A SECOND!!!!!!!!! HIS BRAINS BE BURNT ON THE CHIP SIDE!!! DOES THAT MEAN??? SOON??? (if someone has an extra clown wig and red nose hand it over i have a feeling imma need it)
- I seriously don't think there has ever been a moment when I was even remotely ok with Orn Free Taa
- Hera's mom is an absolute QUEEN! I love her already...oh no I'm getting attached I can't do that oh no stop it I can't deal with more sad
- BABY HERA FLY SHIP! Look at her go!!! Yay Mom!!!
-OMG IS HERA GONNA MEET OMEGA???
-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH HERA AND OMEGA ARE BESTIES!!!
-Awwwww Tech's been teaching Omega about the ship! Wait does that mean he has someone who will sit and listen to him because he just wants to share his knowledge??? AWWWWW THAT'S SO SOFT I LOVE IT!!!!! I really wish they would have shown us that. Like yeah there have been some short Tech teaching Omega moments, but nothing substantial. Seriously if they showed us Tech getting all happy and excited that someone actually wanted to learn from him I think I would simply pass away from pure joy. I just want some character development and happiness for my love is that too much to ask for?
- Hera talking about flying is so cute! Omg and Omega being so proud of her room!!!
-Lol like 0.5 sec into hearing that Omega and the Bois™ get shot at regularly, Hera's like "Are you in trouble? I will adopt you right now" (and then Omega pulled the Uno Reverse card on her and was like "sis we are literally the ones bringing you weapons"). Glad to know Hera has always been the mom friend.
-"Did you know flying is about a feeling?" "wHaT fEeLiNg?" My dear Tech, I adore your vocal inflections so much......oh stars.....I'm freaking out over crumbs......my apologies
- CROSS SWEETIE PLEASE STOP SHOOTING AT PEOPLE! SPECIFICALLY CHILDREN! BRO I KNOW YA CAN'T HELP IT BUT EEK MAN!
- Ok kind of a weird statement, but am I the only one that used to get really excited when a LAAT would show up? I used to be all like "My BOYS! 🥰" and now it's more of "My BOYS! 😥". Ya know what I mean? My poor clones...I miss them.
- Oh yeah I'm 100% calling it, Howzer's chip isn't doing the thing.
- Hera's mom could run me over with a blurrg and you know what that's on me. I got in her way. I'm so sorry.
- DAMN CROSS RIGHT TO THE NOGGIN JEEZ!
- Aww Howzer really cares about Hera and her parents. This is gonna hurt like a bitch isn't it 😒
FINAL THOUGHTS
- Idk what I was expecting from this episode, but it certainly wasn’t seeing Ryloth this soon.
- MOM!!! Agh I love Hera so much
-Howzer’s pretty. Good for him.
- So like for our clown outfits, is there color scheme or dress code or something? Because I'm really hoping that seeing Cross' ✨melted marbles✨ on the right side of his head means the chip got damaged and it's gonna stop working soon...right?
- I know both of them were only around the batch for a few minutes, but do you think Kanan and Hera ever had a moment were they were telling stories about their past and somehow connected the dots that they both knew them kinda? Idk probably not but it's fun to think about.
-So here's the thing (to finally wrap up my rambling), they were soooo close to Cross. Like I know the batch is going to have to go back to bring them more weapons, but they were sooooo close. I get it that they wouldn't have known he was there and it was interesting to see what is going on in the galaxy outside of the squad, especially with Ryloth's history of being constantly under occupation and seeing how they are dealing with the shift from the Republic to the Empire, but I need them to TALK ABOUT HIM! Like let's at least start there. Where's the energy from E3 about not leaving Cross behind? I know that getting him back is going to be really hard, really complicated, and really dangerous and that's why they haven't got him back yet, but at least try to come up with a plan. Start there boys. Please. I love you all so much. I really do. But could you just TALK TO EACH OTHER BECAUSE I KNOW IT'S BOTHERING YOU INSIDE BUT YA NEED TO BRING THOSE FEELINGS TO THE OUTSIDE!!! Ok thanks xxx
Yeah I think that's all I got for today's episode. Good night? Good morning? Whatever y'all know what I mean 😘

The marriage alphabet for Hendrickson? Hopefully that’s not too much, thanks!
Tumblr media
I’m having a lot of fun with these alphabets HEEHEEHEE!
A-About, what about you made them want to marry you?
Your forgiving and nurturing nature. You are just like a druid in the way that you respect nature and he loves that about you.
B-Baby, would they want kids with you as soon as possible?
Yes. Hendrickson basically helped to raise Griamore, Gilthunder, and Howzer, so he will want kids as soon as possible.
C-Celebration, how would they celebrate your anniversaries?
Hendrickson is a hopeless romantic. He would make you dinner and make sure that everyone else stays away so that he can make you feel just as loved as you make him feel.
D-Divorce, how would they handle if you wanted a divorce? What caused it?
His self loathing is what caused it. This absolutely destroys him. He wants nothing more than to be worthy of you and to him he has failed and there was no saving it.
E-Earnest, are they serious about your marriage? Or can they be a little immature about it?
Hendrickson takes your relationship very serious. He is never immature about it because he takes this as serious as his job as a Holy Knight.
F- Favorite, what was your favorite things before and after you got married to each other?
Favorite thing before and after you got married is Hendy’s inability to resist Honey. You have to hide it to keep him out of the honey jar, but if this man gets a whiff of it you have no hope to keep it secret. Sometimes you even buy some just so that you can watch him get sticky from the mess he makes.
G-Giving, do they spoil you?
Hendrickson is sure to spoil you. Flowers, poems, dresses, surprise date nights. You name it. He spoils you rotten and often times you pitty the other women around you whose husband’s don’t treat them with the same respect and reverence.
H-Honeymoon, what did you two do for your honeymoon?
Hendrickson is first and foremost a druid. Even though he was cast out he is still a druid of nature. A honeymoon in the forest with a cliff outlook to the sea was something you never thought you would want to do, but being pulled by the waves on the cliff face would put you to sleep in an instant, that is, after you two had your fun.
I-Invest, how much do they contribute to your marriage?
Hendrickson put everything into your marriage. He still does. You, not expecting this at first, were shocked. Though once the shock wore off you put equal amount of effort into your marriage. The only time he doesn’t put in effort is when he is training your children to be holy knights. You can understand though. This is what will keep them safe.
J-Jealous, do they still get jealous even though you’re completely theirs?
Yes. Hendrickson is very much the jealous type. Part of this stems from. His fear that you will realize that the things that he has done cannot be atoned for and he will always be the monster he thinks he is.
K-Kiss, how often would you two kiss? Do you still have that spark?
Hendrickson is big on formality. He will not kiss you in public. He does love to kiss you when you are home though. Good morning kisses are a must. Goodnight kisses are never missed. Kisses are also always given to you in tandem with thank yous.
L-Live, where would you two settle down at?
You live in Lioness, though you both would like to move to live in the same forest that you had your honeymoon in.
M-Make, do they still make your heart flutter after years of marriage?
The one thing that makes your heart flutter is his soft kisses on the back of your hand. He is such a gentleman that it makes your heart skip a beat every single time.
N-Never, what is something they would never do?
He would never raise his voice to you. Even when you have your days, and that one time that you screamed at him that he didn’t love you the way he said he did while you were pregnant with your first child, he never and will never raise his voice at you.
O-Opportunity, do you two still get the opportunity to be intimate with one another?
Drefus is always there to lend a hand, just as Hendrickson was there to lend a hand to him. Uncle Drefus will always take the kids so that you two can have some alone time. If it isn’t Drefus it’s Meliodas who will let you guys get in some alone time. Though you are pretty sure he is racking up some debt so that he will have that time later on.
P-Pet names, what pet names do you two give each other?
You always call him Darling, and Hendy always calls you My Heart. You find it adorable and you will never stop.
Q-Quiet, do you two keep quiet about your marriage? Or do you always brag about one another?
No, you always brag about each other. You know he brags about you to the guys and equally you find yourself bragging to all of your female friends about how wonderful of a husband he is.
R-Romance, how do you two keep your romance alive?
With how spoiled you are and how much you both put into your marriage there is no short supply of romance in your marriage. Late night walks in Lioness, star gazing, and the trips to town festivals.
S-Selfie, would they take multiple pictures of you? Would they save them on their phone?
If he had a phone, yes he would. He does love to have portraits made, especially of you two and his whole family.
T-Teenagers, do you still act like teens when you’re older?
No. You might act silly every once and a while, but you don’t act like teenagers.
U-Unrelenting, what hasn’t stopped since you two got married?
He is always the one to make breakfast every morning. Normally you are a late riser, or at least later than he is. So you find that you are served breakfast every morning.
V-Valentine’s Day, what plans do you two make?
It’s always a surprise for you. Sometimes you two spend it alone and others you spend it on a short vacation from the Holy Knights.
W-Wedding, what was your wedding like?
Small, with only Hendrickson’s close friends and yours. You find that you liked the small wedding and that even though it was small his vows to you were the most amazing words that you will never forget.
X-X-Ray, can you two see through each other? Can you see when you’re lying or not?
Hendrickson can always tell when you are upset, but lying? You don’t normally lie to each other. The only thing you lie about is when you two have surprises for each other and you two have gotten so good at it, it is like second nature. You can keep these secrets from each other easy as pie.
Y-Yearly Tradition, what do you two do every year for your wedding anniversary?
Being a druid Hendy is big on traditions. You find that he always serves you breakfast in bed, You’ll god out to spend the day together and follow everything up by going out to dinner before you two go to the castle baths before some fun time.
Z-Zesty, Give me your own zesty letters!
Good morning My Heart,
Breakfast is on the table, I’m sorry I had to leave so early for a training mission with the younger Holy Knights Apprentices but duty is duty. I have put the laundry out to dry since it is going to be a nice  out. Why don:t you take your free time to finish that book you were enjoying?
The balcony is lit perfectly at noon and you have been desperately trying to find time to finish it. The only thing I ask of you is for you to tell me how it finished when I return.
I’ll cherish you forever,
Hendrickson

Ten Years On [1]
Fandom: Nanatsu no Taizai/Seven Deadly Sins Characters: Escanor, Merlin  Warning: Major character death, Angst Rating: T  Part: 1 of 3
My first entry of three for @escalin-week Escalin Weekend 2020. Part 2 and 3 will be published this weekend.
⋆﹥━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━﹤⋆
Ten years on, Liones is healed from the Second Holy War. The kingdom is thriving as it welcomes its new king and queen, the losses mourned but not forgotten, the people finding new hope and life in the peace that has settled over all of Britannia. Even Camelot, to the south, is rebuilding and renewing itself, Edinburgh now open and cleaned of death, the Fairy King’s Forest thriving with magic.
Escanor lives a very ordinary life, and for that he is glad. His days had never been ordinary: rather extraordinary, in fact, but he is a simple man who wants simple things and this new life, his third or fourth depending on one’s count, suits him just fine. He has an ordinary wife and an ordinary job and their ordinary home sits in an ordinary town. They are booksellers now, with their own store and everything, paid for by the pensions Meliodas had insisted to give to them for being Holy Knights one or two lifetimes ago.
It had been Merlin’s idea to buy a printing press, and now they publish writings as well. It was a way for her to push him to publish his poems, but she claimed it as selfish so she could put her own work into books. Soon they were well-known publishers of fine fiction and nonfiction, giving them an ordinary but comfortable life in their not-too-big not-too-small town where they raise their daughter.
This life is the easiest so far, his favorite, more so than prince or monster or bartender or knight. It is fitting, he assumes, considering this life was the most painful to create. He had stood on the battlefield, dying, giving his last words to Merlin. She was his sun and his moon, his stars, and he had to tell her, she had to know before he was gone from the world that she was loved. It was all he ever wanted, to love her, to look at her and see that she knew she was loved.
But Merlin had other ideas. It had pained him for quite a while to know she had given up Infinity to save him; after all, what is Merlin without magic? But she waves him away when he opines on the loss she must suffer to this day, telling him that she too always wanted ordinary. They gave up extraordinary together, on that day when she took the power of the gods and used it to sew muscle and skin and bone and breathe into his organs, making him whole.
Whole, and human. Both of them, completely ordinary humans.
They did what humans do: they married. Perhaps the day was just like any other, the ceremony the same, the dress and the cake and the hugs from their friends. Perhaps that night was the same, when they joined the way humans had done since the dawn of time. Perhaps their life is the same, mending socks and buying bread and arguing over whose turn it is to shut the windows. It is an ordinary life, but in its simplicity is something more, more than Escanor could have ever dreamed.
Perhaps there is nothing more ordinary than finding a baby in your arms nine months later. Escanor had cringed a bit at the bright orange hair and brown eyes, having hoped beyond hope that their child would be the image of Merlin; but she had been so pleased, and the moment the baby was laid in his arms he was shocked at the way it stirred something so wonderfully ordinary inside him as love. He had written his best-selling book that very night, hours upon hours of poetry describing the joys of the ordinary.
They had named her Avalon, and the three lived their lives in happiness. Fatherhood was a surprising talent of Escanor’s; he had retained some of the height and strength of the day yet the gentleness of the night, thanks to Merlin’s cleverness with magic. He was the perfect combination of both, a blend of prince and knight and friend. And like any other ordinary human, he thought that it would never end.
Human lives are fragile. Human lives are finite. Unlike the goddesses and demons and fairies and giants who enjoy years unimagined on the earth, whose powers work constantly by soaking up the energy of Briannia and healing all wounds great and small, humans work differently. Their strength is in their mortality, Merlin had told him once; for knowing it all could be gone makes them work harder, care more, invest all. Humans have inherited the earth because they are the only ones who could lose it. Escanor had chuckled at that, only partly understanding, because humans are mortal yet they win over the gods? It was extraordinary.
Today is not ordinary at all. It starts out the same: Escanor rises from the bed, alone, as Merlin often is up with the sun to write or check on an experiment or fill any orders before opening the shop. He washes his face and teeth before checking the kitchen, finding the bread he had left to warm on a little shelf over the hearth and the tea things laid out, his ritual every night so Merlin will have them waiting and ready in the morning.
He stares for a long time at the bread that has grown a bit crusty and the spoon that sits perfectly untouched next to the cup. He does not know how many minutes go by until he shakes himself, deciding to let the little tableau stay for now.
Escanor moves back into the bedroom, his feet quiet on the floor, and begins to dress. Usually he wears a pair of brown breeches and a comfortable linen shirt and a vest over all. Merlin teases him for his plain sense of style, but he reminds her if she wanted to be married to a man who could wear the latest fashions then she ought to have made him a bit shorter and less broad when she rebuilt his body. Of course, Merlin would not change an inch on him, so they leave the bold fashion choices to her.
Today is not ordinary. Today he wears black. Today he does not put on a vest, but a coat, and he does not fumble for the reading glasses he needs now that he is human. Today he must wear a hat.
The shop will not open today, so Escanor sits on his chair, looking out the window. He had spent many days and nights just like this with Avalon in his arms, ignoring Merlin’s warnings he would spoil the child if he did not let the baby sleep. But Escanor didn’t mind, thinking he would carry her forever if needed.
Where is Avalon now? He frowns for a moment, but remembers she is with Elaine. Yes, Ban and Elaine have the girl, staying with them at the Boar Hat. Ban is the proprietor there now, and even though he would not ordinarily approve of a girl of ten staying at a tavern, it is for the best, for now.
He watches the morning slowly unfold, wondering why the world is so quiet today. Do they know? Perhaps it’s his hearing, and he thinks he ought to see the doctor to check. He is getting on in years, after all.
A knock on the door breaks him from his thoughts. To his surprise, the Grand Master steps inside, but then Escanor remembers. It is a huge honor to be escorted by the Great Holy Knight, and as Howzer’s face turns to him with a sad kindness, Escanor remembers many things.
“Sir Escanor. I am so very sorry.” He strides forward, surety looking well on him. Escanor stands quickly as Howzer takes his hand. “This is a loss unbearable.”
“It’s fine,” he answers.
“Are you ready to go?”
Escanor nods. He lets the knight lead him out, thinking that Howzer will want to take care of him. They ride in the carriage in silence, until it becomes too heavy and Howzer begins to talk of things he remembers, the war they had shared. He is speaking of Istar when they arrive.
“Thank you,” Escanor says.
Howzer nods. “The others are waiting.”
Afterwards, it’s not so bad. Escanor sits at a table in the Great Hall and looks at his teacup. It is not unlike the one back at the house, the one untouched. Only this one has a fine mist rising from inside, and he watches it swirl with some curiosity.
The chair next to him moves and he looks over to see Ban folding himself into it. “You all right?” he asks.
There is a bit of whisky on his breath. Escanor nods. “I suppose I ought to—”
“You ought to do nothing but sit right there,” Ban interrupts. “You don’t do a thing until you’re ready, you hear?”
Escanor nods. “Good,” Ban continues. “I was sent over here to see if you’re hungry, but of course that’s nonsense. So let’s just pretend we are talking to keep the others off our backs, all right? Otherwise you’ll have Elaine and Elizabeth and Diane on top of you, and that’s a punishment you don’t need right now.”
“Of course,” Escanor replies.
Ban nods. He pours himself some tea, and Escanor spies the flask he pulls from his coat. A generous portion goes into the cup before he tops off Escanor’s as well. “There we are. That will help the bite.”
“Thank you.”
Ban drains his cup, but Escanor’s remains untouched. “It’s difficult, isn’t it?” he asks. Escanor glances over as Ban stares downwards. “Being human again, I mean. You and I, we were supposed to live forever. Merlin too, even though whether she was human or not to begin with I never really understood, if I’m being honest.”
It is startling to hear her name, but even more startling is Ban’s honesty. “Yes, it’s strange,” he agrees, not sure what to say.
“Our choices have been made long ago, and I would not take my power back for an instant, because it saved Elaine.” He watches as Ban pours another cup of tea, spiking it again generously before taking a sip. “You must remember that, Escanor. I would never, ever take that power back, even though it made me human. I would give up that immortality a hundred times a hundred to save Elaine.”
The words are registering, but they feel too distant to understand. “I’ll remember,” he says.
“Good.” Ban looks at him now. “We’ll keep Avalon for a while. She and Lancelot get along well, and it’s good for her to be around people. Elaine needs something to do anyway, seeing how the boy can’t stand to be mothered anymore.” He tilts his head a bit. “That all right with you?”
“Yes, yes it’s fine. Good. Avalon… she needs to be around people.”
Ban nods. He pushes to his feet and pats him on the shoulder. “That should keep the vultures at bay a while longer. Sit and stare at your tea, and let Howzer take you home. I’ll send him in a half hour.”
Escanor nods again, thinking in thirty minutes’ time, he’ll need to go home. He’ll go home and retrieve the bread and wash the cup and sweep the kitchen floor in case there are crumbs. He’ll remove his coat and store it away again, and then review the manuscripts waiting on the desk that he has neglected the past week. He will have an ordinary evening at home.

Headcanons for each of the sins + Elizabeth and Elaine at the Kiane wedding?
sure!! I’m just going to do it in one block because I feel like it’d be better that way and I can add other characters!
-King made all the tuxedos, and he wanted to make the dresses but Diane said no because of the tradition of not seeing the bride in her dress and she’d have to try it on for him.
-King really wanted Helbram to be his best man, but Helbram obviously isn’t here anymore. He ends up having both Meliodas and Ban as his best ‘men’
-Diane wanted Elizabeth, Elaine and Merlin to be bridesmaids but Merlin turned it down and Gowther really wanted to wear the sparkly dress so Diane let him (he’s like her son now, after all).
-King also persuaded her to let Gerheade be a bridesmaid.
-Diane was walked down the isle by Matrona.
-The ring barer was Hawk
-people who shed a tear: Escanor, Gowther, Matrona, Oslow (somehow??) and Ban (he threatens to kill anyone who brings it up) (+Diane)
-people who full on cried: Elaine, Elizabeth & Gerheade (+King)
-Meliodas just stays completely neutral with a smile. At the end he slaps King on the back like “You’re a man now,”
-Only a few people were invited to the ceremony, but the after party? Like every single holy knight showed up. It was wild.
-King and Diane wanted it to be peaceful but they decided, it’s not a Seven Deadly Sins style wedding if it’s not chaotic.
-Diane is probably at her normal size during the actual marriage, but at the after party Merlin shrinks her and her dress so she can enjoy the party with everyone.
-they received tons of presents. It was really cute, actually.
-Elizabeth catches the bouquet, and Ban catches the garter. Two upcoming weddings, it seems.
-Ban gets drunk and gives a speech while standing on a table. It’s like “This man... not only has he grown wings... he’s grown balls... Diane... Tell me how big it is tomorrow ok?...” he tries to tap a spoon on a glass but ends up throwing the whole thing to get everyone’s attention. King is very embarrassed. Elaine has to get him to stop.
-Their first dance goes perfectly. I can imagine King being really scared of stepping on her foot or something but it all works out in the end.
-Meliodas is really happy for them! He hopes he and Elizabeth can be like that one day!
-Ban is also really proud of King, and when he’s drunk he tells him all about it, but when he’s sober he threatens to punch him in the throat
-Gowther is really glad that he was able to see this with the ability to feel happiness. He could feel the love radiating from the two and he kept thinking “what would I be thinking about this if I was still emotionless?”
-Gowther congratulates them and apologises for getting in the way that one time but he’s shushed by Diane for ‘bringing up the past during a day where she only wants to look at her future with King’
-Merlin was mostly intrigued by the wedding. It was a human-style wedding, but it was between a Giant and a Fairy. She wondered if their clans had any wedding traditions.
-Escanor was weeping throughout the whole evening. He was writing down poetry ideas because the whole event was straight inspiration but he was too busy shaking and crying because he was so happy.
-Ban makes the cake and all the snacks.
-King invites Howzer just to laugh in his face.
-The colour scheme was probably light blue. Diane’s bouquet is made up of blue hydrangeas!!!
-they probably get married during springtime because they both love nature. Maybe they get married in the sacred tree?
-everyone is really happy and the sins are still drinking and celebrating at 6am the next day.
Have a lovely day 💛

Seven deadly gems part 6
Meliodas fakes a smile around everyone now. He acts happy all the time. He’s just giggling and joking like always. Heck he is even laughing with Elizabeth’s dad all the time.
Yet, at night, when everyone is happilyplanning howethers wedding or sleeping, wellhe locks himself in his room and sobs. He just sits there sobbing as memories flood back to him. Not even ones about Elizabeth’s. Yet, the pain her rejection caused is having him remember Walmart every bad thing about his past. He doesn’t even know why but he refuses to let anyone knows. Especially Elizabeth. She doesn’t need to feel guilty about rejecting him because it’s a normal part of life.
When Gowther’s wedding roles around everyone is excited. They dress up in nice cute outfits with a bit of a warm under coat since it’s gonna be snowing today plus the wedding is outside towards the end of fall. Elizabeth’s dad Is sitying with Nadja’s dad and a few others they know. They’re all sitting on logs outside. Plus there’s also also Lillie’s in flower pots around the light Eren carpet leading to the arch they’re to be married under. The arch is covered in green and red ribbon. Plus there’s also a few flowers (which are covering the arch as well) makinthe arch pop out. Especially since every flower there are Lillie’s which surpingly Gowther’s pick. Gowther’s groomsmen are Ban, Meliodas and King.
Gowther seems calm about everything honestly. Everyone else is more stressed then He is. That is until the music starts and Nadja isn’t walking down the isle. A few minutes pass and she still isn’t there. Only then does he panic. Yet, soon she comes being basically carried by her parents seeing as her legs felt weak.
Yet, her legs are hardly seen under her huge puffy dress. There’s so much fluff that o looks like she’s a huge marshmallow. Her veil is dragging behind her since it’s so long but, it’s connected to a crown. It looks like she’s a princess of sorts.
Gowther breaks down in a smile looking at his women. Nadja soon is standing her legs shaking holding his hands with a big smile. Gowther offers to have someone grab her a chair but she refuses. She stands though the entire wedding holding his hand. Yet, one of her old friends is holding her up through a lot of the ceremony.
Elizabeth sobs over the romance as the preacher spoke. During the thing Gowther and Nadja looked into each other’s eyes. Everyone thought it was sweet. Especially at the end of the wedding when they were to kiss. Gowther never took his eyes off of her and just kissed him tighter.
The entire after party is outside to with speaker in a car. And there was a few tables around to sit at. Plus there was a cake which had a light green piece of ribbon covering the cake. There was lilies everywhere and on the top was a tiny little Gowther and Nadja.
Nadja loved the cake. Gowther thought it was cute
The music starts playing in a speaker in the back of Margrets car. Margret is dancing with Gil and it looks pretty good. As for Gowther, he’s almost always dancing with Nadja. After all she used to take dance and all she ever wanted to do was dance at her wedding. Diane shape shifts to a norma size and is dancing with king a lot. Veronica is dancing with Howzer.
Meliodas walks over asking Elizabeth to dance. Elizabeth just sits there before denying his request. She knew if they danced they would fuse and well...her father would assume he’s lost her and he just couldn’t handle losing a daughter or anybody. And he was already losing Margret once she makes enough money to get out. And Veronica is going to a university in the spring. It will just be her and him. And if she randomly turned into a bigger person with someone else, he would think she somehow left him. She just can’t do it anymore. It just wasn’t fair to him.
Meliodas jus stayed happy nodding. Yet, he found it a bit harder to breath when he saw Nadja’s mom was giving him a pity look. He sat down and found it harder and harder to breath as everyone was looked over atleast once. His hands shook and heclosed his eyes world spinning when Ban went to check on him.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah, Yeah I-“ just as he opens his eyes he sees it and screams. Ban looks up and sees it too.
It’s a homeworld scout ship.
Every gem starts getting all humans into their cars. Gowther hide Nadja in her parents car as the ship lands on the dance floor crushing a few rocks and a table. Elizabeth however runs out of her father’s carto find her sister. Yet, just as she leaves her sisters are in the car. Then all the humans are off as the ship’s entrance opens. Slowly out steps a jasper and a blue agate.
“My clarity, such a pitiful sight to see how the earth has ended up isn’t it Hendrickson?”
“I do agree Dreyfus...Dreyfus Who are those other gems?” The agate asks pointing at the sins. Dreyfus, the jasper, slowly head off the ship taking step after step. As he does each gem summons their weapons. Diane switches aback to her normal size.
“My word such a large off coloured gem....I’ve only ever seen one in era one before we left the earth. Yet, is it possible that these gems could be the seven deadly gems? The ones that worked for Rose Quartz?” Hendrickson asks looking st Diane.
Meliodas yells that they are. Plus some dramaticness by adding that they are going to beat them senseless and shatter them if they do not leave now. Hendrickson and Dreyfus just laugh before digging out the same light form disturber Jasper uses in the episode Jail break.
They charge at the gems. Meliodas dodged but King doesn’t. He ends up getting poofed and having his pshycical form carved into tiny pieces. Diane swarmed before kicking at the gems who attacked. Hendrickson dodges and starts climbing uphee body like a bug. She starts trying to swat him off.
Meanwhile Meliodas and Ban are fighting Dreyfus who is trying to use the weapon to poof them. Each gem is just an inch away with their attacks from lifting each other. Yet,they’re keep refusing to touch each other.
Elizabeth meanwhile is hiding behind a tree in a panic. She soon looks over and sees to her shock there’s a third gem. One she’s never seen before. All sshe can make out is that they are purple. And the gem is trying to get Kings gem.
She races out of her hiding spot and grabs king’s gem. Just as she does Jericho, a amethyst glares dangers at her before summoning her weapon and going after Elizabeth.
In the end Elizabeth climbs up a tree and grabs a stick. She starts to try and fend Jericho off with a stick as she tries to climb the tree. Surprisingly works well. Jericho falls down on the ground, impairing herself through an latge rock. Yet she refuses to poof.
As for the two other gems, wellthey abadoned her.
The seven deadly gems find her and Meliodas gets his words ready to be ran through her. She freezes up before speaking up.
“No, no wait you can’t poof me. I’m the only one who knows about the-“And with that Meliodas runs herthrough with a sword, impailing her making her poof.
She’s bubbled and sent home. The gems head home while Elizabeth is just wondering one thing. Surpsingky just one. Which is,
What did that gems know that she wasn’t telling them?

The Eighth Avenue Express (Part 2)
Fanfic by Jacklynnfrost for Smutember 2019. It’s Tuesday, here is the next part of the Train Fic. Again, shout out to my friends for being spectacular.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Elizabeth fumes at her desk. Her pencil taps over and over on the ring stains of the faux wood, which has bubbled and warped from her uninsulated cups of water. Diane volunteered to do the coffee run this morning, casually. Deep down she knows the sweet girl was just trying to give her a break but Elizabeth could not restrain the glare she so heartily delivered.
She had sums to finalize and calls to make but the entire hour that Diane is gone she gets nothing done. She snaps at the delivery boy when he asks for a signature and although she has the decency to flush and apologize, the act weighs on her with her other worries. The young woman restarts her old habit of biting her nails and does not stop until the brown-haired beauty of a fellow intern returns with the two stacks of coffees.
When Diane steps back into their cramped, shared office Elizabeth spins in her chair. “How’d it go?” She inquires and the pretty girl, taller than Elizabeth, straightens to be even taller as if a bit alarmed by the question. Diane squirms, her sparkling eyes meet Elizabeth’s blue ones with ill-concealed guilt. Her friend is not a good liar, cannot hide even minor infractions and Elizabeth’s shoulders sag before turning back to her computer with stinging eyes.
Maybe her beautiful stranger molests all the girls in the subway. Diane hadn’t answered, the other two interns don’t even remove their headphones as they clack away at their keyboards but Elizabeth notes her lack of response. She muses over it for the rest of the day and the next morning. While getting ready for work, she decides to wear another skirt with a wrap shirt held together with one knot at her hip for easy access. When she arrives at work and retakes her seats, arranging her purse and things she balks at Diane as she enters.
She wore a loose skirt today too.
Elizabeth’s heart clenches, her eyes dropping downcast as she decides she won’t be playing with her stranger any more if she’s one of many. He is the exception to the rule for her but if he is a serial groper, with thousands of women under his belt, she doesn’t want to partake. Another shock comes when the pleated skirt that just walked in finds the edge of her desk and Diane sighs as she leans in a partial sit against it.
“Can I talk to you?” She asks, shy and extremely low. “I was wondering if I can take the coffee runs?” Elizabeth’s weary eyes rise to find Diane’s sheepish expression, her lips tipped down in a frown. “There’s this man I met and-”
“Just take him.” Elizabeth resigns, pinkening and partially scowling. “I mean them, the trips to Twigo’s,” she amends with a sigh and softer tone. Diane giggles, girly, her face transforming to model level stunning in her joy when she’s always been beautiful. Elizabeth can see at that moment why anyone would single Diane out in a crowd.
The days wear on and Elizabeth’s ire fades as her logic finds holes in her self-doubts. The subway is packed, what are the chances those two found one another? Her critical thinking skills only improve as Diane’s clothing choices each day give her pause. A floral pants suit is only accessible if you unbutton and drop the entire thing. It’s absolutely adorable on her but not something one would wear for easy public access.
Three days pass before Elizabeth approaches Diane’s desk before the coffee run and she waits for her to finish her call while pushing back her cuticles. Diane’s decorations around her area are all chibi, with adorable little stickers and posters in her corner of their office wall. If only Griamore and Howzer, the other two interns, were half this interesting. “Hey Elizabeth, what’s up?” She cheerily says as the light on her phone console dies and she lowers her headset. Elizabeth takes a deep breath, not ready to begin even with the brief waiting time she had.
“I’m sorry I was so grouchy the other day.” The silver-haired woman starts, fiddling with those same pale locks as her blue eyes flash to Diane’s. Her friend waves the apology away with a gentle, relaxed expression. “You see, there is this man I met getting the coffee and... I thought maybe when you said you met a man too, I guess, I got a little insecure.”
“Woah!” Diane starts, hands raising up. “You think anyone would even notice me if you are in their lives? I don’t think so.” The surety in Diane’s voice is so solid Elizabeth’s mouth pops open with a smack.
“Are you kidding! You are a model- only way better!” Elizabeth retorts, dismissing the idea of being anywhere near the level of beauty that Diane is. “Your personality is like sunshine emboldened!” This makes Diane giggle, her hand covering her lips as her other waves her words away in the air again.
“Well, if you are in pursuit too, then we can alternate coffee runs.” Diane looks down at herself, her dress giving her curves an extra emphasis and Elizabeth laughs. “As long as you aren’t after Harlequin too?” For a moment the two stare as Elizabeth’s eyes widen, her hand coming up to scratch at her head in confused embarrassment and Diane releases a sigh of relief. “Phew! You don’t even know who my man is! You can do tomorrow’s run, that way I can tell him today- maybe have an excuse to swap numbers, ya know?”
The two part ways soon after as their boss returns from lunch and they act busier with her head popping in with narrowed eyes. Tomorrow then, now all Elizabeth has to hope for is that her stranger keeps going to work early... and that his name isn’t Harlequin.
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Her dress is low cut, she took her undershirt off to shove in her purse before she left her building and the airy material flows around her thighs loosely. She swears to herself that she will make sure he isn’t a criminal groper before exploring this any further but her outfit decision makes her exasperated at herself. ‘Have some decency, Elizabeth!’ She scolds to herself internally but that same thrill from her core travels up her spine as the screeching of the subway fills the underground waystation.
She’s ridden the subway so many times and has never had these urges. Elizabeth considers that the man is the main reason for her overreactions. Impatiently, she dips around the others waiting and when the doors open to their car she’s gnawing at the bit as people rush out. At the first opportunity, she wiggles inside and all but bounds to the center pole, skipping the open seats on the way. Her heart drops and a tiny pout forms as her steps slow in disappointment. ‘I wouldn’t keep showing up if I were him, either.’ She thinks, assessing how wishy-washy she had been and how she told him a day then didn’t show up. If she had been him, Elizabeth would have assumed she was being blown off.
Out of habit she grips the pole, her eyes dropping to the tips of her shoes and she nibbles at her bottom lip wondering if she will forget about him. Elizabeth has a sinking feeling she won’t be able to, that she will always wonder. A hand grabs for her free one and instinctively she pulls her wrist to her chest, turning to the hooded figure in polite wariness.
“Oh!” She exhales, her protective stance eases and the hand she pulled away finds his, still extended toward her. “I thought... I’m sorry.” Elizabeth whispers, finding every excuse that comes to mind silly but his fingers interlace with hers and he steps toward the train car’s corner. There are two open seats beside the wall and he guides her to take the one in the corner where it’s more shielded. He sits beside her but angling so his shoulders block her from most of the other passengers. He’s closing her in and she looks him over.
He’s handsome and in a dark hoodie that’s looped over his chaotic hair with loose sweatpants. A plastic bag leaves his grip to rest behind him on his seat and her purse joins the grocery bag. Her beautiful stranger smirks, eyeing over her ample cleavage and over her loose dress cinched with a ribbon around her waist. “You wore this for me.” He notes and she doesn’t have to confirm as her face gives him the answer. Her pink flush even spreads across the creamy skin of her breasts that his eyes can’t seem to look from.
His right leg steps wide to overtake hers, currently crossed at her ankles. The doors hiss closed and her thumb rubs across his knuckles remembering with warmth pooling in her tummy that he worked her over with this hand. She flips his palm up on her bare thigh as her dress rides up, her other hand playing over the calluses of his palm and fingertips. Elizabeth can tell he has worked them hard in his life. With a little smirk, she reaches and finds the zipper of his hoodie over his chest, pulling it down for the two halves to separate. The back of her fingers feel over the contours of his torso until she reaches the end of his hoodie.
With a small tug, she opens the side of it wide to block anyone's view and she releases his palm as her other hand unashamedly dips into the loose band of his sweatpants. “And you wore this for me.” Elizabeth smiles tenderly as he adjusts his seat to give her better access to stroke him. He’s hot in her hand, as hard as she remembers him being last time and she leans to give him a better view down her shirt with his hoodie giving them a small wall to block them in.
He chuckles, his palm leaves her thigh, her stroking firm as his fingertips trace the swelling outline of her breasts. Her breathing turns harsher as her blue eyes find his questioning green ones. Her smile gives him all the permission he needs, his hand dives down her dress, disheveling the fabric. He groans, long and low at the first brush of his skin over her taut nipple. In her grip his cock throbs. She smirks, knowing instantly he is a boob man and she is glad for it as she has plenty of pillowy flesh for him.
“I wish you could taste them,” Elizabeth whispers hotly, dipping forward for a longer stroke over his hardness, her grip on his hoodie tightening. “I wish I could taste you.” She breathes, her lips finding his eyebrow. His arm loops out of his hoodie, leaving his sleeve empty and dangling as he opens the top of her dress to free her ample chest. This makes her hike up the hoodie wall as she doesn’t want anyone else to see.
He gasps, his lips parting for his tongue to wet them. “I wish that too.” He throatily replies. His hips move in miniscule thrusts to help her rhythm from the limited range she had with how they are sitting. With a flush, she raises her leg and she wiggles closer, pausing in her strokes to slip it to the other side of his hip with a twist of her body to face him. Her other leg loops up over his thigh and he stops his fondling by righting her dress enough to help her, lifting her waist. She shifts forward, almost straddling him but she stops when her core hits the head of his hard dick, his leg stretches under her until it rests under her thigh against the back of their seats.
She restarts her pumping of his dick to meet her tandem core rotations, the softness of her fabric-covered mons pressing into his cock has him gasping. His nose dips under her chin, his lips leave a trail of kisses and hot tingles as his palms find her chest once more. “Have I told you yet how perfect you are.” He mutters against her flesh, her spine lengthening to press his dick to just the right spot. Jolts of clenching excitement spread from their contact and it causes Elizabeth to lose some of her senses. Her strokes become frantic, her foot curves around his back to help push him against her and any outsider that looks over will know they are fooling around. The extent is of it indiscernible.
“Fuck, Elizabeth.” He mutters, losing his own will in the frenzy as his head dips, his tongue lapping at her flesh and reaching across her collar bone. She gasps almost silently, her breathy noise spurring him on and she tastes like heaven, her sounds are a symphony of pleasure to him. The barest hints of her skin on his drive him to the farthest extremes of his feelings and he cannot find a single comparison that comes remotely close. She’s experiencing a similar reaction, her brain is flooding with endorphins as she believes she will break apart with this desperate building inside of her.
Her face buries into his hair to hide, her chest heaving as her hips and hand do the work. She hasn’t dry-humped anyone since sophomore year and she knows it wasn’t like this in the slightest. She wants him to cum, to taste his seed from her fingers as he did with her orgasm last time. Elizabeth has been thinking about it near incessantly. His hot breath on her neck drives her wild and she wishes they were alone, behind closed doors as there are so many things she wants to do to him.
She’s juicy, her core is dripping and with the dress, it would be so easy to push aside her panties and pull him free to rub them bare together. “I want you,” Elizabeth whispers. “I want you throbbing inside me, to taste you on the tip of my tongue and to ride you until I can’t feel my legs.” It’s true, but the man thinks it’s dirty talk and does not take her seriously. Instead, he presses harder against her core, casing a soft mewling sound to escape her. He rises, his lips capturing hers with a demanding, forceful entrance into her soft, giving mouth. His chest gives a low rumble and his throat groaning is the only hint she has that he’s about to cum before he’s spurting in his pants against her.
She swallows his sounds as he breathes them into her, her own orgasm sparking from the feel of him coming apart. Elizabeth doesn’t ease her rhythm, she wants to prolong his pleasure but as her own wave of bliss hits her, she drowns in it, losing function of her limbs as she’s reduced to sagging, unresponsive twitching muscles. He holds her up as her head falls to his shoulder and at the last second, he catches his hoodie before it cascades and gives their subway car neighbors a view of what they were really up to. His other arm curves around her back and for a moment as they catch their breaths, he holds her adoringly.
He flinches as her fingers in his pants fondle over him. He is sensitive, and, although he usually needs a few moments to rebound, her little motion has him hardening again. He inhales her, mouth parting to take in more of her scent as he knows he’s lost his mind. That thought becomes fact as she leans away, shyly showing him his own seed on her fingertips before she smears his orgasm on her lower lip and her bubblegum pink tongue pokes out for a taste. Elizabeth licks it clean, watching her stranger become mystified, pupils blowing wide until only a thin band of green circles it.
In his shock, she detangles herself from him, tapping her shoes to the floor and righting her dress to sit between his legs which are still embracing her. Elizabeth flushes, prettily in his opinion, and folds her hands in her lap. They were quicker today as the train car is still going strong. Reality returns to her first, her teeth nipping at the skin of her bottom lip as she side-eyes him. “Your name isn’t... Harlequin, is it?” She puzzles softly.
Confusion colors his face and her shoulders sag in relief. “No.” He breathes his answer, the hoodie fabric drops as he shoves his arm through the sleeve hole once more. “It’s nice to know you’ve been curious about me though?” He winces his words, his tone making it a question. She shifts, expecting him to detangle from his assumedly uncomfortable position, but rather than right his leg from behind her he leans in, his arms tentatively wrap around her waist as if asking permission. “I was starting to worry you weren’t interested in me outside of here.”
Elizabeth looks down to her hands in her lap, the wet spot on his sweats a clear outline that makes her smirk to herself. She is interested but the only topic of conversation she really wants to have circles around her own needs of reassurance. He’s warm and Elizabeth finds herself leaning just slightly for her shoulder to rest on his, still facing her. She feels strange touching him in this way, but his arms around her are comforting. ‘You’ll stroke him off in front of all these people but you can’t show him any affection or interest?’ She scolds herself into wiggling down to lay her head in the nook of his neck. Elizabeth brushes the tip of her nose along his Adam’s apple and with her ear on his shoulder she can hear the soft rumbling in his throat from the motion. Her heart races from their embrace.
He moves the sides of his hoodie to wrap her up and the two stay snuggled up until, not a moment later, the train car starts to slow. She pulls away, her eyes soft and resigned as she faces him with a teeny pout. His rough fingers brush her hair behind her ear and he smiles to her as if she’s important to him. “When will I see you again?” He ponders aloud, sounding every bit as vulnerable as he feels.
“I alternate days now, so I think next week, Monday?” She isn’t sure and it sounds like it as it squeaks past her trembling lips. He notices. His eyes follow the subtle dip in her bottom lip before they part, a rush of breath escaping her and this time, he closes the gap between them to steal a delicate kiss. Her beautiful stranger is bashful as he pulls away, releasing her to reach and pick up the stuffed grocery bag. She gathers her own bag as the tingles on her lips spread, her heart keeping pace as if trying to beat the subway to their stop.
“Are you a criminal?” She blurts, alarmed at herself for her delivery and her mortification only grows as his eyebrow quirks. “I mean...” Elizabeth vague gestures around the train car and then to herself. If anything his eyebrow simply raises up another centimeter, a smirk spreading slowly over his face.
“Like... if I’ve groped a thousand perfect breasts?” He answers, eyes sparkling as they drop to peek down her dress once more. Some of the humor on his face fades, his tongue poking out to wet his lips. Then he continues, looking up at her under his lashes, “Or if I’ve stolen a thousand girls’ panties?” Again, her face burns and she guesses correctly that he’s trying to make her react this way.
“You’re joking,” Elizabeth whispers, unsure but hopeful from his tone that he’s simply toying with her. “Of course.” He breathes, his joy fades with the slowing of the subway and vanishes completely when it rocks to a stop. She stands and he follows right after her, wincing as he stretches out his leg and rezips his hoodie to hide the cum stain on the front of his pants. Her eyes dash to the door as the light changes but flash back to him as he holds out the plastic bag. “I got you something.” He quietly directs, nudging his head to the offering when she doesn’t take it.
Slowly, she accepts it, her fingers grazing over his with a lingering touch. His eyelids drop to half-mast at the contact. Elizabeth has a hard time stepping away but the second's tick by so quickly. “I have to go.” She whispers. His nod is slow, silently accepting whatever she’ll allow him to have of her. Their time is stretching thin and in the last seconds they have together, she weaves her free hand through his hair to feel the locks slip through her fingers like silk.
As is their usual, she exits the train car at the last second and turns on the platform to stare at him through the curved window. He waves and a little smile tugs at her lips as she wiggles her fingers back. The train car pulls away, his resigned expression engraved in her mind as she makes her way to Twigo’s. In line she opens his gift, the bag crinkling in her gip. Bright red greets her and she puzzles over it until she pulls it free and it unfolds before her. In a confused blink, she stares at the coat. It reminds her of Carmen Sandiago’s outfit only longer and a laugh burst forth followed instantly by a heavy flush that matches the color of her new coat.
The possibilities are endless with a coat like this.

Celebration
For June 24th, I wrote a little one-shot.  Pairing: Jericho/Female OC Tag Warnings: No triggering content to tag.
Celebrations were in full swing now that Hendrickson had been defeated and the citizens of Liones could return to rebuilding their city. There were parties and fireworks going off at night, where many citizens could be found at the Boar’s Hat drinking the rest of the night away. Amata was found there sometimes, along with Howzer and Gilthunder. On other nights, she could be found roaming the streets of Liones where construction was heavy. During the day, however, Amata was found with Jericho, who has been despondent since the day of the battle when all the New Generation Holy Knights had transformed into demons. Jericho was not in the mood to celebrate at all. As the sun began to set and paint the sky tinges of red and yellow, Amata was returning to the castle when she spotted the shadowy silhouette of Jericho on the training grounds, dressed in her armor and swinging away with her sword.
Amata began to greet with the long-winded title she usually referred to Jericho with. “Holy Knight Apprentice-”
“It’s just Jericho now,” came the sullen interruption.
The young woman is drenched in sweat, evidence that she’s been training for the duration of the day. Amata frowns at the thought.
“Has Guila been training with you?”
Jericho huffs, full lips pulling sideways as she decides to take a break. “No.”
“You shouldn’t be training alone. You won’t improve that way.”
Before Jericho can argue, Amata is walking in the direction of the barracks and waves her hand over her head. Jericho stands there in confusion, watching the Holy Knight depart and disappear, only to return after several long minutes dressed in her own silver plated armor, massive sword strapped to her back.
Jericho frowns. “W-What are you doing, Lady Amata?”
“You want to improve, correct?” Amata asks rhetorically. “I will help you with that.”
The former Holy Knight frowned even more, watches as Amata draws her massive blade. “You don’t-”
But instinct takes over when Amata suddenly attacks without warning. Jericho raises her own weapon in protection to deflect the swing just in time. She can feel her knees begin to buckle from the sheer weight and force of the weapon, and with the last bit of strength she jumps back and watches as the blade lodges itself into the soil where she just stood. Amata, an enigma to Jericho since the very first day they met, was smiling calmly, although it never reaches her eyes entirely. Something false, plastered on so much it must feel only natural to her.
Jericho can feel her blood pumping because Amata won’t go easy on her, has never gone easy on her. And so each attack and movement feels like an actual battle. The sun has almost completely disappeared beneath the horizon by now, and both woman have to squint to see better. Her weapon isn’t as large as Amata’s, and so she can dexterously lunge at her opponent to land a blow. Amata narrows her eyes in an attempt to see better but doesn’t react fast enough. All she can do is dodge to the side a second too late. The blade slices her cheek open and begins to ooze blood immediately.
Amata swears in frustration at her own clumsiness. “I concede! Your speed is unmatchable, Lady Jericho.”
“Oh, please,” Jericho responds dismissively. “You don’t need to mock me.”
The other woman straightens, her brows knitting together. “I’m not.”
“You…You really mean that?”
“I wouldn’t have said it if I didn’t mean every word of it.”
Just then, the sky illuminates with a brilliant display of fireworks. Various colors light up the nighttime sky, and they both stop what they’re doing to watch the light show begin above their heads.
“Lady Amata, you’re bleeding.”
She blinks at the reminder and raises her free hand to her cheek, and when she pulls her hand away her blood coats her fingertips.
“So I am.” Comes her dull response. But then Amata smiles again, that smile that doesn’t really meet her eyes.
The flashing lights above casts shadows across their faces, morphing Amata’s expression into something gentler that causes Jericho’s face to slowly heat up and her heart to race. She realizes that she’s been staring for longer then is normal and looks away.
“The celebrations tonight are only beginning,” Amata begins slowly, gaze fixated on the starry sky. Her expression is pensive, the outline of her face almost glowing because of the fireworks. Jericho finds herself smiling, but quickly hides it when Amata looks in her direction, “I would be delighted if you’d accompany me to the Boar’s Hat for a round of drinks. My treat." Her smile is wide this time, genuine, the corners of her eyes crinkling with delight.
Jericho's face heats up at the invitation. But the smile was contagious, and her expression mirrored Amata's eventually, head bobbing a little in agreement.
"Sure."

So I just finished the entire Nanatsu no Taizai anime. Final thoughts:
Dreyfus, Hawk, and Veronica have absolutely no business being alive whatsoever. However, given that I’m a One Piece fan, I have no right to complain about that. But I will reserve the right to complain about Hawk. Don’t get me wrong, I adore him (he’s one of my favourite characters) and there were actual tears in my eyes when he “died”, but given that everyone else that died because of that death snow thing or whatever stayed dead, it doesn’t make any sense at all. They broke the rules of their universe, and what makes it especially annoying is that they didn’t have any decency to at least explain why? Even a half-assed reason would’ve been enough for me. And Hawk suddenly getting tiny for no reason? What?
The whole wand-waving thing with Elizabeth and her supposedly fantastic magical healing powers was such an ass-pull, and was the one thing I disliked about the finale. Everything else was absolutely amazing.
Ban being ready to kill Meliodas (whom he fought alongside for years) in order to bring back Elaine (whom he knew for exactly 7 days), and Meliodas admitting that he’d do the same for Liz definitely disillusioned me about the both of them. I still love them a lot, but not with the same intensity as before.
Gowther is my child, my fav, and I love him and would die for him. He’s adorable, and the whole cross-dressing thing is hilarious XD
Merlin is absolutely gorgeous and if she propositioned me I wouldn’t say no tbh.
Gil, Howzer, and Griamore are all too precious for words and I would die for them.
I ship Gil x Margaret so hard and I literally screamed when it became canon! GIL WILL BE A FANTASTIC KING I WILL FIGHT YOU ON THIS.
Diane and King is my otp and I honestly cried when it was revealed that Diane regained her memories of the times she spent with King when she was younger.
Diane is my precious daughter and I would cut a bitch for her.
Helbram is easily the character I feel the worst for. His story completely tore my heart to shreds and I’m glad he can finally rest in peace.
I adore Elizabeth to the ends of the Earth, as I’ve been saying since the very beginning, but I’m not gonna lie, I was really really hoping that she wouldn’t come along with them on their new adventure. Because if I’m being honest with you guys, I just don’t think she has enough substance to be a main character. She’s adorable and she cares for her people...but there’s nothing more to her. I mean, she’s basically just there to be Meliodas’ cheerleader. Like, for example, I’ve mentioned before that she reminds me a lot of the princesses from One Piece (Vivi, Rebecca, and Shirahoshi). And she has a lot of the same values as them definitely, and the same courage. But the difference between her and them is that they can at least fight and protect themselves. Hell, Rebecca was a freaking gladiator that won countless fights, and Vivi went undercover in a bounty hunter organization and became one of the most powerful people in the entire organization. Elizabeth, on the other hand, doesn’t have any fighting skills whatsoever, and yet she still insists on running into battle and constantly having to be saved because she can’t do shit.
Meliodas’ “perversion” honestly seems really really out of place to me. It just...doesn’t fit in with the rest of his character? Like, when it comes to other anime perverts (Sanji, Master Roshi, Mineta, Dr Shamal) it makes sense with their character, you know? But with Meliodas, his acts of perversion always come out of nowhere and just feel very awkward and forced. As if they made him that way to appeal to the teenage boys whom the series is most probably marketed towards. You could take that one trait away, and he wouldn’t be any different as a character.
Meliodas and Elizabeth don’t have any chemistry whatsoever and even though I can see that it’s probably heading that way, I’m still hoping they don’t become a canon couple.
We still haven’t seen the seventh sin, and I am so upset!! I want to meet them!
Hawk’s mother is awesome and I love her and I wish she had her own personality instead of just being a convenient plot device to move Meliodas’ tavern around.
The supposed crushes Guila and Jericho have on Gowther and Ban respectively are stupid and are only the writers’ way of trying to ignore the obvious romantic tension between Jericho and Guila. Just let them be soft, sweet, happy girlfriends together.
Arthur Pendragon reminds me of Hinata Shouyou and I love him lots and I really really want to see more of him.
It’s been implied several times that Gowther isn’t human. I’m interested to learn more about that.
In conclusion: It doesn’t rank as high as my favs (OP, BNHA, KHR, HQ), but it was still thoroughly enjoyable and I really love the characters and the world they inherit. The different kinds of magic the characters have are really cool (especially Gil’s lightning and Ban’s “snatch”).
I’ve been told that the manga is a lot better than the anime, and I’m looking forward to reading that and seeing how it differs!

I’m a lil bit tipsy but
The seven deadly sins + others on Christmas
-meliodas insists on cooking the dinner but he gets banned from the kitchen
-lots of mistletoe scenarios. All of the couples are under the mistletoe, some kissing and others doing inappropriate things. Gowther has to kiss Escanor because Merlin teleports alway
-probably gifts the most awful things - you know how Meliodas gifted Gilthunder that bug corpse in the holiday chapter? It’s like that except nobody else wants a bug corpse. He puts in absolutely no effort and expects everyone to do the same
-Merlin somehow gets everyone iPhones? Like how did she get these? Who does she know?
-Elizabeth is sweet and thoughtful (and rich) so she buys everyone what she thinks they’d want
-Ban steals everyone’s things and then gifts them back. Tries to steal Gowther’s glasses but gets shot
-Escanor and Elaine team up (as much as Ban hates it) and Elaine makes some sweet handmade cards dressed in ribbons and buttons and Escanor writes little poems to everyone inside.
-Gowther probably read about Christmas in a book but a REALLY old one so he gives everyone oranges thinking it’s what he’s supposed to do
-King makes ugly jumpers. It’s great for like the first two Christmases, but then it’s like “oh boy a jumper. thanks”
-Diane forgets to get anyone anything and does the pigtail thing. She buys chocolates and shares them though.
-Merlin doesn’t turn up for the main dinner, but teleports in as soon as desert even TOUCHES the dinner
-Arthur turns up and gives everyone candy canes
-Jericho isn’t invited but she turns up anyway because she feels like it
-Guila wishes she could get more for Zeal on Christmas, but most of her Holy Knight wages go on bills and food for him so she has to scrape together whatever she can to get him toys. The sins invite her for dinner to take some of the stress away. A queen.
-Gilthunder, Howzer and Griamore go carol singing with Hendrickson. They drag along Dreyfus even though he INSISTS he doesn’t want to come.
-Gilthunder and Griamore are invited to have dinner with the Liones royals. Howzer isn’t invited and has dinner with his family
-Howzer absolutely stands underneath mistletoe and waits for someone to kiss him
-(I love Howzer so much)
-there’s a wild party at the boar hat where everyone gets absolutely wasted but guess what? Same thing next week for new year
-Gowther dresses as sexy Santa. They let him do it
I’m all out of ideas for now but if you have any ideas feel free to add 💛💛💛
