Golden Fleece

#my art #cotl #cotl lamb #blood #it was really fun to ponder this one #cause in the game sprite the body on the fleece has the scale-like texture but the hem is sharp like the standard fleece #i felt a 2 tiered piece would work nicely to show both of these contrasting elements #the sprite always makes me think of gold scale mail but i wanted to avoid it looking explicitly like armor #since the fleece gives you stacking atk damage in exchange of taking 2x damage when hit #although tbqh gold armor would be fucking pointless anyways. gold is a very soft metal. which may have been the point but w/e #instead i wanted the shapes to be more reminiscent of wool since like. yknow. the golden fleece #and i wanted it to speak of luxury and power but be rather impractical for movement or protection #i just wanted to do an axe for funsies and by wonderful coincidence remembered the godly axe was gold :] #anyways this pose is brought to you by my stupid ass who spun too hard with my upper body when swinging a bat and felt cool for 1 second #before totally unbalancing myself and falling #the instant after this image lambo eats shit. rest in peace

A man who was split into two separate beings as a child

Another man and a mysterious AI who share one body as two separate consciousnesses

A strange creature who has two different voices who claims to work at the island

An angel who is also a devil

A, now since broken, wall that separated the players into two groups

And of course all of the players either being native speakers of one of two languages: English or Spanish

As well as the two mysterious torches Quackity and Foolish found awhile back...

... Idrk what to make of it all so far, just felt like pointing out the instances i noticed!

It may sound silly, but..

Am I the only one, who noticed some similarities between Nimona and Agatha Prenderghast?

Both are the little girls, who were labelled as a monster/witch by society due to their abilities: Nimona shape-shifts and Agatha could talk to the spirits (Yeah, I know, Nimona isn’t actually a girl..she’s Nimona, but still).

2. There was only one person in their lives, who treated them with kindness and compassion (For Nimona it was Gloreth..before her betrayal😭 // Aggie’s mother).

3. Their vengeful attitude towards humanity for how they were treated.

4. Despite being small, their backstory scenes left a huge impact on the viewers..

5. Same energy😥

6. Their “monster forms”…They look nefarious on the outside, but filled with pain and sorrow on the inside..

7. They both got a happy ending🥹✨

i gotta say it was pretty fucking funny of bk moon to mash together the names of his protagonists and name a goddamn bridge after it. like. sure okay this is a fine and normal thing to do with the name of two guys who have a normal interest in the other and whose relationship is in no way shape or form absolutely integral to the entire story with their devotion to each other being a major motivation for the plot to move forward. like. i'm sure no one will read anything into that little piece of worldbuilding :)
