Moments from "The Chosen" that live rent free in my head:
• Season two: John the Baptist excitingly screaming "yeah!" when Jesus cast a demon from Caleb.
• Season two: "The Son of Man- that's Me, btw."
• Season two: Simon P and Andrew's argument ("My little brother whom I love very much?")
• Season two: Phillip's introduction was the best.
• Season three: BIG AND LITTLE JAMES HUGGED ON THEIR 2 BY 2 MISSION AND BIG JAMES HAD TO PICK LIL' JAMES UP BECAUSE HE'S SO SMALL.
• Season three: Angry Phillip.
• Season three: When the man broke into Andrew's flat. ("Knock next time!")
• Season three: When Simon P told Nathaniel and Z to be quite.
• Season three: The Sons of Thunder being jealous of each other because of Thomas.
• Season two/three: Thomas asked Ramah to marry him???
• Season one: "I'm not exactly jumping of out my sandals because Creepy John pointed at someone!"
• Season one: When Andrew got that huge coat for Jesus ("I think I could fit all of you in here with Me.")
• Season two/three: Jesus telling John (and Little James I'm pretty sure?) that He loved them.
• Seasons two and three: Jesus calling His disciples by their nicknames.
• Season two: Simon P introducing the others to Simon Z ("That's Nathaniel, he says what first comes to his mind, so don't be offended.")
• Season two: The Son's of Thunder and the Son's of Jonah competing to see who goes fishing. (Sore loser Andrew lol)

truly i don't understand why we refer to Thomas as "Doubting Thomas" in such an unkind way. doubt is so important to having a healthy relationship with your faith. and the fact that Thomas doubted gave him the blessing of touching the wounds of Christ

Matthew 5:3-12a (NIV): Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven.

THE DESCRIPTION OF SAINT THOMAS Feast Day: July 3
"Let us also go, that we may die with him." -John 11:16
The apostle Thomas, the patron of architects and builders, was a Galilean of humble birth. He had an ardent love for our Lord, and was willing to die for him. But after the crucifixion, he separated from the other apostles, and did not believe the report that Jesus was risen. For this, he merited the title of 'Doubting Thomas'.
A week later, Jesus appeared again, and told him to put his finger into his wounds, and to believe. At this, Thomas answered: 'My Lord and my God!'
And Jesus concluded: 'You have come to believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.'
Thomas was the only witness of the Assumption of Mary into heaven. The other apostles were miraculously transported to Jerusalem to witness her death. Thomas was left in India, but after her first burial, he was transported to her tomb, where he witnessed her bodily assumption into heaven, from which she dropped her girdle. In an inversion of the story of Thomas' doubts, the other apostles are skeptical of Thomas' story until they see the empty tomb and the girdle. Thomas' receipt of the girdle is commonly depicted in medieval and pre-Council of Trent Renaissance art.
Tradition says that after Pentecost, Thomas was captured and sold as a slave to Gondophares, the king of India. Having heard of his mastery in architecture, the king ordered Thomas to build for him a magnificent palace. In his absence, Thomas distributed to the poor all the money he had received for the construction. On his return, Gondophares asked for the new palace, but Thomas answered: 'You cannot see it now, but only when you have left this world.'
Gondophares was about to flay him alive, when his brother reported that he had seen in a vision the palace that Thomas had prepared for him in heaven. The king liberated Thomas, and was baptized together with many of his people. Afterwards, Thomas went all over India evangelizing, until he got into trouble with King Mazday for converting his wife. Eventually, he was led to the top of the hill (now called St. Thomas Mount) and killed in Chola Kingdom (present-day Mylapore, Tamil Nadu, India).

Bringing Coal to the Choir
The story of the first attempts by Portuguese conquistadors to Catholicize the Saint Thomas Christians of southern India in the early 16th century. Basically it's a bunch of Christian Indians confused as to what the hell the Portuguese are talking about.
