Okay so maybe rewatching Thor for the Loki content was a bad idea because wow the ending of Loki really does parallel the ending of that movie, the way Jane searches for Thor with her scientific equipment because that's how she found him in the first place, the way Mobius waits for Loki at his own spot on the timeline because he knows that's where Loki would choose to be, the way both brothers know their loves still have hope for them and they smile
I have so many thoughts about their childhood... The things they'd find, the mysteries to unravel, the adventures to be had! Two little princes with a giant palace to explore!
You ever think about how that moment in Thor 1 when Thor and Loki were kids in the Vault and how that was an identity shaping memory for Loki and for Odin and Thor it was freaking Tuesday
i wish they delved more into just like… the lives of the common people of asgard. like how did they feel that one of their princes died, but a year later came back and was now being charged for attempting to take over midgard and killing 80 people? or the fact that jotunheim and asgard were fighting again after so many years of peace? what about the death of frigga, who was their queen? imagine being asgardian and witnessing all of those events in the span of only three years.
if they had anything similar to social media, i just know it would’ve been crazy
the way that when odin says, “of your title” and his voice reverberates is kinda funny.
what isn’t funny, however, is that when odin says “you are unworthy…” and then you see loki. the saddest, most distraught person i’ve ever seen.
edit: i am not trying to forget Thor. I’m not trying to make a whole analysis. This scene addition was supposed to show what little bits I find funny. (I stated that above.)
