My TOG reread.

So, I just finished CoM and just started HoF.

Here's my unpopular opinions:

Nehemia was an AWFUL friend. She was manipulative and only befriended Aelin because of who she was. She does not deserve Aelin's mourning.

Chaol deserves less hate. I love Chaol. I always have, and I still do. I get where he's coming from. He's only human.

Aelin deserved that punch in the face from Rowan. Like damn.

Kaltain deserved better.

415 pages, published August 2, 2012 - 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Even upon rereading this book I was always excited and intrigued at what would happen next - and that's normally not me on a reread. Overall it went over the expectations I had going in for a second time - now on to Crown Of Midnight...this one I know is gonna hurt. Wyrd help me, please.

So I'm rereading Crown of Midnight and Aedion isn't in this book. But I'm wondering what he is doing.

Does he know the king has a champion?

Does he know it's Celaena? Is he kind of a fangirl for her? I mean he is a fangirl for the Cadre.

What would have happened is the king ordered Celaena to kill Aedion. Aelin: "you have to fake your dead or i have to kill you" Adion: *surprised pikachu face*

Is Aedion plotting to kill the kings champion. Or thinking of a way to convert her to his side.

So much potential for a good fic. Not that i'm going to write it, but I would verry much like to read it. So to AO3 I go.

@pitterpatterpot since you are my favorite when it comes to Aedion fic's have you by any chance written something like this? Or read a fic like this?

Underrated Rowan moments in Queen of Shadows:

-Rowan watching aelin getting ready to play the piano and when she’s hesitating, he gives her a chance to back out. She doesn’t, and instead of saying anything, he gives her a nod, a silent order to begin. Because he knows that’s what she needs. Not words of encouragement or a pat on the back, just this unyielding belief that she’s going to do it.

-Rowan picking up Evangeline when she breaks into the warehouse. Aelin was hesitating to give her a hug but Rowan just scoops her up and she buries her face in his chest (which is gloriously naked, I wish I was her). Dad material

-Rowan literally trying to set Aelin on the toilet when she couldn’t walk.
