IDK if someone already asked this, but in your personal HCs, what are Shōto & Izuku's love languages for each other?

Izuku realised pretty quickly which language affected Shoto the most: words of affirmation. Granted, it was his words that ignited his partner's fire all those years ago; that was his first clue.

And lucky for Shoto, Izuku was a great talker, who would happily wax poetry about how amazing he was at every given opportunity.

I think, initially, Shoto's primary form of showing his affection was gift-giving. After all, he had unlimited access to the bank of Endeavour, and Izuku deserved to be spoiled.

However, as their relationship grew, Shoto realised just how much Izuku loved physical touch... so much more than any limited-edition All Might figurine he'd gifted him. At first, that made him nervous - Shoto wasn't very good at the whole "touchy-feely" thing and he still got uncomfortable whenever it was brought up.

It was frustrating, because he enjoyed touching Izuku; cuddling him; kissing him. It was just the build-up - he couldn't initiate physical contact himself.

He just had a lot of baggage to deal with, and while Izuku never pushed him, his own brain certainly made him feel guilty about not being a "good boyfriend".

It took a while, but luckily, he had a very patient partner, and as he worked through his deeper trauma in therapy, he allowed himself to become more tactile. Now, he loves wrapping Izuku in a hug when words aren't enough; he doesn't feel compelled to ask before leaning in for a kiss.

And there's no better motivation than seeing Izuku's flushed cheeks under the attention.
