“Dad,” he said after the door he'd knocked on was opened.

There was a long, resigned sigh before he was answered. “Kid,” Aizawa said. “What do you want now?”

Would everyone (especially 1A) eventually find out that Katsuki and Victoire is the same person. Like Todoroki is thisssss close 👌 to figuring it out already. And how would they react? Mineta and Denki gonna have a mental breakdown right then and there no doubt.

Yep. They would. Todoroki would have a "I told you so" moment as the class resident conspiracist. Mineta and Denki's world have been turned upside down, chewed by a dog, tossed into a blender, and then flushed down the toilet. The rest of the boys aren't doing better. The girls would be shocked but eventually let out a huge scream of excitement and glee probably. Aizawa needs vodka. Midoriya...well, we all know that a heart break was inevitable.

What was fucked up is me being into the “dabi is a todoroki” conspiracists and then getting hyperfixated on dream before they confirmed it in the manga 😭😭 I remember scrolling twitter seeing a hit tweet on my fyp and getting up so quickly reading it was confirmed and read the chapter immediately 💔 but now i cant get into bnha again like that

helppp there ain't nothing to hyperfixate about in the dream fandom anyways we can all be free. i like that it was a well set up plot with hints and that when fans guessed it, it wasn't changed last minute.

One of the worlds most famous hiking trials is on the Izu peninsula(Kawazu Seven Waterfalls)

One of the it’s so well known is that it’s loved by both hiking enthusiasts and classic literature nerds alike

That’s because its the setting to first Japanese Nobel prize winner Yasunari Kawabata’s short story “The Izu Dancer”

The Izu Dancer is about a young upper class man going hiking on vacation from university to escape his feelings of loneliness and discontentment with life

While traveling his develops crush/friendship with the dancer/drummer and daughter of a family traveling entertainers. These social outcasts teach this well to do young man how to accept himself and be more open with others

When it’s time for him to go back to school he and the dancer promise each other they will meet again but when he leaves he realize how impossible that dream is

I think Hori knows this story well because

A. It won a Nobel prize so a fuck ton of people know, even more so in Japan(obviously)

B. The seven waterfalls is only a few hours away from where Hori himself went to university

C. A social outcast teaching a boy who has it all to be a better person sounds real familiar 👀 (that could only describe like a million stories lol)

And it’s so fitting that Deku’s nod would clear as day while Kacchan’s takes time and thought to discover 💞

sure, you've heard of conspiracy theorist todoroki, but what about conspiracy theorist hitoshi? not like, current-day mainstream nutjob conspiracist shinsou, but he'll dig into the deepest most obscure conspiracy about the most unnotable historical figure from like 200 bc.

hitoshi is a really good singer. he rarely sings but it is a blessing to the ears when he does. he's got that voice like a bottle of raw honey.

hitoshi owns a massive amount of tea. he has an entire quarter of his pantry just dedicated to different kinds of tea.

hitoshi is very good at reading body language. he can tell when someone's hiding something, feeling uncomfortable, et cetera.

hitoshi owns a few potted plants and is incredibly proactive in taking care of and keeping them healthy.

I just noticed something, and I don’t know how relevant it is, but I’m just gonna leave it here:

Shouto and Dabi dress the same way. Or very similarly, at the very least: a white V-neck tee with a darker shirt/jacket that only covers 3/4 of his arms over it, a white belt, and black pants.

Which is, you know, irrelevant, if you don’t take into account that it’s a deliberate choice on Horikoshi’s part about their character designs.

I’m pretty sure this is the only scene in which Shouto wears a dark shirt over his tee (he usually wears lighter colors:

like these) but maybe that’s also deliberate. The only time his design looks a lot closer to Dabi’s own look,

it’s when Shouto first visits his mother at the hospital. That is, when he addresses the loose ends of his past for the first time.

Still, this might just be another thing that adds up to their mutual foiling, but the part of me who is a Todoroki!Dabi conspiracist thought I should put this on the table :’D
