Episode 4: A Christmas Miracle and a bunch of other holiday drama

Summary: Christmas miracles can make even the impossible, possible. Like Yuzuha wanting to forgive Taiju for throwing a chair at her or Shinichiro getting a girlfriend.

A cool breeze kisses Takeomi's face as he sits outside the bench.

The cigarette hangs in between his fingers, tapping the wooden bench lightly while he holds his phone in his hand loosely. Tears gather at the corner of his eyes, his throat clogged up with multiple lumps as he reads over the message again.

'we've been dating for months'

Takeomi's heart lurches in his chest as he mulls over the words. On one hand, he's happy that Shinichiro won't whine about not getting a date for christmas or sulking while the rest of them are having fun. Shinichiro does deserve to be happy, despite his lack of game, Takeomi knows that deep down, he's proud of his friend.

But why did it have to be you?

He should have seen it coming anyways. You always gravitated towards Shinichiro, smiling whenever he was around and always humoring him. You two were always spending a lot of time together lately, although none of them would guess you two were dating.

He sighs, tossing the cigarette on the ground, stepping on it to put it out. "Another lonely Christmas, with heart break as a bonus, lovely." He mutters to himself, getting up from the bench. A sad smile makes it's way to his lips as he tucks his phone in his pockets before trudging along the cold and lonely streets of Tokyo alone.

"At least I don't have to hear Shin cry about being alone this year"
