We really as a society need to just fucking get over it and have the men and women wrestle each other. There can obviously be separate divisions and titles but thinking of how much potential for great storylines is being wasted physically hurts me. How great would mixed tag titles be (obviously we need women’s titles first)? For the first one they could have a big tournament and have all the couples compete and have the finals be on Valentines Day or some shit, it would be adorable. Who wouldn’t want to see Toni Storm and Juice Robinson team together? Or Britt Baker and Adam Cole, Anna Jay and Jack Perry, Penelope Ford and Kip Sabian, etc. I know I would.

Or they could have a blind eliminator tournament like they just did for the men, and pair up men and women who otherwise never would have spoken to each other. You never know, they could very well strike gold like they did with the MJF/Adam Cole pairing. I think they would.

Not to mention the great singles matches we could have, the feuds they could be put in. Plus you have someone like Kris Statlander who’s with the Best Friends and has such great chemistry with them but can never be part of the feuds they’re in if the other group doesn’t have a female member, and they can’t ever help her out in her feuds, it’s just dumb as fuck.

I think it could also help with the sub-par booking of the women’s division, too. They would get more time to shine. Obviously we need more matches with just women, but I would love more than anything to see those women kick the asses of some of those men. Those matches and storylines could be epic.

Anyway, sorry if that was messy or slightly incoherent I’m just really passionate about this particular issue and just heard that Rey Fenix wouldn’t be able to go to Wembley, prompting me to practically scream “so just let Stat join them for fucks sake!”

Edit: I wasn’t really clear in the post originally but I meant this this as strictly about AEW! I am aware that intergender wrestling does exist and has been done, I just meant that it should become the norm for the big companies (i.e. AEW. I don’t follow WWE so I can’t speak on what they’re doing over there. Someone that watches it regularly can speak on what they’re doing in this regard).

Be All Elite, Not Just CM Punk

Professional wrestling is bigger than any one person. AEW is more than CM Punk. I am glad I became a fan from the beginning because I get to see people like Kenny Omega, Britt Baker, The Bucks, The Acclaimed, Willow Nightingale, Orange Cassidy, MJF, Skye Blue, and many more wrestle and perform weekly. I am here for all of All Elite Wrestling. It's hard to believe people say they are out after just one person who by his own fault finds himself on the outside looking in.

Sure, Tony Khan has made his share of mistakes. I have to believe he tried his best to keep Punk until he couldn't do that any longer. Other people in the biz have made their mistakes Vince McMahon, Jim Crockett, and every other promoter who has had the vision and resources to start a wrestling company.

Tonight there is a PPV in Chicago where hard-working men and women will put on their gear and provide a great show and will tell stories in a squared circle. Isn't that the essence of what pro wrestling is?

My picks for who MJF’s temporary replacement best friend should be while Adam is recovering, because he should absolutely get one, ranging from realistic to just dreams of mine:

Britt - Max misses Adam and is desperate for any connection to him. Insanely, he and Britt have never really talked. He seeks her out and asks if she wants to hang out. They immediately hit it off. When Adam comes back they’re best friends and is maybe a little bit jealous of Britt

Max Caster (+Bowens & Billy) - we need to bring this dynamic onto the show. We just do. They’re too good together not to. Also I really want to see MJF reluctantly scissor the three of them

Paul Wight - I mean, I don’t think I even have to explain this one

Best Friends - Max is sad about not having his best friend around, and has been sulking for weeks. The four (or five-six depending on if they hear my prayers and Hook joins, and if Danhausen comes back) of the Best Friends show up to try to take him in. At first he’s mean to them and doesn’t want to give them the time of day, but they eventually win him over. I love the idea of this dynamic so much, plus he’d have a big group to have his back against BCG

Even just Kris Statlander on her own because I would love to see them together so much

Willow Nightingale - honestly just because I know she would make him smile and I love that. Max deserves to smile and have fun

Hikaru Shida - I honestly think she works and has chemistry with everyone. I’d like to see them together, even just for a very brief time

The point is, MJF needs another friend and I think this babyface run he’s having is such a good opportunity to give him really great interactions with other faces before he has to go back to being a prick again.
