Never say no to Ankhmara - by Toonvasion

Commission by Toonvasion Zeydaan wanted to have a simple, and normal day- only to be caught in an elaborate gag from Ankhmara. Slapping on a cuff that originally changed her onto them as a 'recurring gag'- Zeydaan would be anxious of the slow transformation that would be to follow over the next few weeks. Only for Ankhmara to help dispel those fears by informing them they'd become her perfect clone by the end of the night. It's very hard for a toon to not get their way- despite Zeydaan trying to barricade them out with their emerging toony powers- but Ankhmara's been at this for longer and knows the rules of this kinda comedy. She would also throw every method of toonification she could, spreading goop, biting and hypnosis. No overkill like toony overkill! She would happily show her new sister the ropes. Time to get all of those mirror gags out of their systems.

A relic from the distant past, this Undead Digimon recently emerged from the sandy depths of a buried temple. It used to live as a priestess of the now extinct AncientSphixmon. Free from its master, it has now become a goddess in its own right. It carries a lush, malevolent existence. It has a special sword made from its own blood that it uses to completely drain its enemies ("Vampire Blade"). It can also use the golden cobra on its arm to fire powerful lasers ("Uraeus Ray"), a technique similar to AncientSphinxmon's "Dark Blast".

Suggested pre-evolved forms: Bastemon, Meicrackmon Vicious Mode, Mummymon (jogressed with Doumon)

Maid Fishy was cleaning the dust in her employer’s living room when suddenly the old television turned on. A cartoon show played, with its volume unbelievably loud that it annoyed the soft-spoken maid. “UNDERSEA TALES! Join us in fun, briny adventures with Merlina the Mermaid, Carl the Crab and....YOU!” 

Fishy stopped in her tracks. “Yes, you, that maid with the featherduster with those fish-looking lips!” Fishy laughed it off and reached her hand to turn off the switch. Instead, a cartoon hand reached out of the TV and squeezed her cheeks, pinching her lips into a pout. “Come now, the show’s about to start!” 

Fishy could feel her body turning rubbery as her skin, hair and clothes increased their color saturation to a cartoonish shade. “What’s happening tO meEee~?” her voice’s pitch increased as her legs merged into a fishtail. “If anything? Let’s make those lips fishier!” The cartoon hand ran along Fishy’s bust, all the way down to her waist, transforming her into an hourglass mermaid figure. She fell forward through the TV screen as if it was a thin bubble layer and found herself  surrounded by endless blue water. “I...I can breathe?” “You’re Fishy, the Mer-Maid! Breathing is nothing compared to the chores waiting for you in the Sea King’s Palace!” She tried to protest, but only bubbles came out between her ruby red fish lips.

The living room became quieter as the old TV showed Fishy being pulled away from the screen, being led on by a disembodied gloved hand. She looked back to the sight of a shrinking screen showing a living room. It shrank and shrank until it disappeared into the blue sea...

Another collab with @toonvasion , a cartoon hand turns me into a fishgirl. Costume was from the anime Blend S.

A bunch of artists who have helped me make it through the year. There are many others including Hazard100, TheArtGazer, Toonvasion, mr-sage, and so many others. It made me cry to make this, but thats just my own almost new year melancholy probably talking....

Decided to work on a rather big project, a little something for myself again. As we can see here, it's the Toon Fox version of my Scientist OC, Zero Confidence the Evolutionary scientist. She's kinda gotten herself tooned, and has since then, been studying everything she can about Toon physics, or lack there of. All while enjoying the experience, and maybe keeping her wits about her from doing anything too silly or zany while in her toonish predicament. And it's good to look lovely while in the shape as well. I always thought the bit snoots on toons were quite cute. This piece took me about 6 days to work on. 4 Days for all the sculpting and fixing, and about 2 days on the painting. Really happy to have gotten this one done. 

Sculpture was inspired by an artist that I drew. That, @toonvasion redrew, that I digital colored after. Which was inspired by a Toon TF he did for me as an art trade, for a coin that I painted for him. Fun bit of history on this lovely form. Ha ha! =D

Following up the Skullgirls Animation video from the other day, this is a really good video on the animation of Cuphead.  I’ve seen some of you try to imitate the “inkblot” or “rubber hose” style of toons in some of your works, with various success*, so this examination of the whats and whys of early animation might help you or just serve as something of a style guide.

*Except for Toonvasion who is just amazing
