there was a sense of excitement as she sits cross-cross on the floor . copper waves cascading down her back , the rays of sun illuminating the strands . behind her, ana eagerly gathers strands of hair, fingers tingling with anticipation at the prospect of creating something beautiful. the sensation is soothing, like the gentle stroke of a feather against her scalp .

as the braid takes shape, connie feels a mix of excitement , childish ? maybe , but she’d embrace it all the same . the rhythmic motion of ana’s fingers weaving strands together creating a sense of unity, each twist and turn drawing them closer together in friendship .

once the braid nears completion, connie feels a sense of pride welling up inside her. this simple act of braiding has become a symbol of trust and connection . ana taps her shoulder and lets her know that she’s done . standing up she stares in the mirror , a radiant smile spreading across her face , illuminating those big green eyes of hers . she sees not just a braid, but a reflection of the friendship and love that binds her to her friends, her girls …woven together like the strands of her hair in a tapestry of joy and shared experiences .

Snake in the chicken coop looking for eggs and the chickens freaked out, which freaked out the horses, which in turn is what actually alerted me and my dad to the problem.
