Ground type chungus monsters. Tarricade were found traditionally in arid plains and wastelands however today are more likely to be found around the outskirts of cities and isolated towns. They cause a number of issues as they tear up road surfaces to eat and are notoriously difficult to move on. Baobasaur use their mighty girth to store copious quantities of water and can survive prolonged droughts for years if they are suitably prepared. Our neighbors are having a tree cut down. It is preventing me from getting much work done, because I want to watch.

Sheila, on the other hand, made plans to go see Jack and Ali’s new puppy. She is missing out on this. Men climbing trees, hanging by ropes, wielding chainsaws. It’s like having the circus in our back yard!

Sadly, the tree guys didn’t bounce into a big net, bring an elephant to move the big logs, or have some cotton candy for me. They probably didn’t even hear my shouted suggestions for those things over the sounds of the barking Aussies and those Stihl chainsaws.

bingewatching youtube videos from mostly us americans and canadians about dutch road and city design with my jaw on the floor. oh dear god. oh dear GOD there's a lot of stuff i take for granted

#i went into this being like. it would really suck not to have bike lanes! i would hate having to drive a car to get places!#and then i watched all of this footage showing direct comparisons of roads in different countries and different cities #and uh. hmmmmm.#currently i think i'm at. ARE there people in north america who HAVEN'T been hit by a car??? ARE YOU OKAY #i know the answer to that last bit is no. i know you already wish it were different. i'm not trying to tell you Did You Know-#i'm just saying that uh. i think i thought i knew!! and now i think i mostly really didn't!!#(if a car hits a person you blame the person for WALKING THERE? cars hit BUILDINGS ALL THE TIME??? and this is NORMAL???)#and also. i wish safe walkable bikable cities upon all of you. and also public transit and trees. many many trees right in the city center #(and smart traffic lights and speed bumps and continuous sidewalks and sane zoning regulations and no potholes and-)#*

im literally only on day 2 of me trying to do better this year but I can definitely confirm: if you feel sad/out of sorts/general malaise and despair, PUT YOUR PHONE DOWN. go outside and touch some grass. walk through your neighborhood (or run, if you want an extra endorphin boost). be reminded of the world you are immediately a part of and the places you can see whenever you want. do it for like 45 minutes and then come back and read a book. idk it might fix you!!!!

#this is based solely on me having a good day for 1.5 days #and limiting my screen time #I love the blonde woman but reading/knitting/exercising/TALKING TO YOUR LOVED ONES #is so much better for my mental health tbh #note to self #also it’s okay if you don’t live somewhere glamorous #I walk by a limo rental company and a traffic light and my street is full of potholes!#but then I get to some trees and everything feels nice
