Okay hear me out
There is always one thing about Buck and Eddie that always gets to me.
Season 2, episode 18- Buck has just been blown up and has a whole ass truck on top of his leg. Remember this? Of course you do, how could we forget.
Now obviously this is very distressing for the team, Chimney goes into full-blown interim captain Han mode, trying to get back up while Bobby is attempting to help but also feeling hella useless and guilty.
Hen is being the badass paramedic she is and is assessing Buck while Eddie is obviously supervising because he is stepping in for where Chimney would usually be.
OKAY NOW THIS IS THE THING
My friend of almost a year needs a firetruck lifting off of their leg, I am going to be all hands on deck getting that truck off them. Like, you bet your ass I'd be there smack in the middle of the action channelling my inner Hulk to get them out and to safety. You get me?
But, where is Eddie while the citizens of LA are helping lift this truck... He is on the floor, holding Buck's hand. Now I know what you're going to say,
"Hen needed help dragging buck out when they lifted the truck."
Sure okay, I can get behind that, but you're telling me that during this entire thing, Eddie, Buck's platonic friend of less than one year, only has one thing on his mind and that is to hold Buck's hand?
Nah.
There were some underlying feelings there I stg and I will die on this hill.
Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

the thing about twitter, not that anyone asked, is that it’s so angry over there. no i mean it like. there are so many transphobes in general and so much misogynoir everywhere and the not-so-occasional leftist who says something terrible one day out of nowhere and there’s just so much to fight back against always, whether it’s a personal attack on someone or just casual garbage being spread around and stirring things up. i cannot stress enough that every single day there’s some new asshole cunt that everyone is making their own posts about in some way so even if you’re tired as fuck your timeline is still riddled with reminders about that. and within your circle everything that happens will affect the tone of the subsequent days. every single thing is important as fuck there. the question isn’t ‘is all this talking getting anything done?’ the question is ‘can i make someone in my community feel safer and stronger by saying something?’ and that is important. it can feel good to be angry along with people and to defend what is good and right and to wield your love fiercely but knowing that that has to happen every day kind of feels bad. i can’t imagine how truly draining it is for people who get enough bullshit and harassment in their lives already. (that’s why my position is that social media Is part of real life.) and i’m v glad to have like stood in solidarity with people and found people who are good at fighting back and found a sense of community and learned things. the effect that my mutuals and others that i follow on twitter have had on my politics and my sense of purpose in the world cannot be overstated. my point is twitter is the worst place on earth. and there is some appeal in staying there.

I feel so bad for jamietartt. what if you were made in the lab that creates bisexual people who get mad bitches and then while on the way to sucking and fucking island you fell off the transport truck and got taken in by Ted Lasso’s Feel Good Lesson Teaching Institute where they don’t even let you check grindr ONCE. it makes me sick. Ted lasso taught me that the real villain is Ted lasso for keeping a smooth talking limp wrist twunk like jamietartt single when he was born to cruise literally designed to slut it up

Hear me out: Neighbor! Simon who’s livid when he finds out reader was sold a faulty item (something pretty pricey), and they’re too nice to actually go back to the shop and ask for a replacement/refund
Thank you for listening to my Ted Talk
He is the "they asked for no pickles" boyfriend. I know this. You know this.
But like. Imagine if he finds out you were sold, like, a faulty mattress. There's bumps, lumps, and overall it's just. Not comfortable. You tell him it's no use going through all the trouble of taking it back, and even if it was, you'd be out a mattress until you could get a replacement.
But uh. Yeah. Simon isn't having that. Good thing he's got a pickup truck, time to spare, and a "give no fucks" attitude.
So he manages to convince you to load up the mattress and go with him to exchange it. (And if they won't exchange it and it takes a bit for you to get a new mattress? Well, good thing he's got a perfectly good one at his place you can share for the time being).
Except when you go in, they refuse. They're adamant they see no issue with it, so they're not gonna give you any sort of refund or opportunity to switch it out for a better one.
Or at least, they weren't going to. Until Simon slowly walks up, full black clothing and balaclava on, and puts his hands on the table in front of the now-sweating salesman.
"Not gonna ask ya twice, mate," he says. "Give 'em the money back."
They don't refuse a second time.

Wrapped Around Your Fingers
Pairing: Joe Burrow x Reader
Warnings: 18+ / Smut
Description: This fic has us traveling back to the off-season last year, to Teddy K's 2023 Memorial Day pool party. Joe had the longer hair, a nice tan (for him 😋), and he was wearing that unbuttoned short-sleeve shirt that had us going feral. See pic below (I cropped/enhanced it, but it's still kinda crap.)
Time/Place: Late May 2023 (Memorial Day week-end) / Cincinnati, Ohio
A/N: This was written for a request I received asking for something smutty featuring Joe's hands (established relationship vibe). I decided on a oneshot where Joe & Reader are engaged & living together in a LTR.
Inspo: (you can't see his hands here, but we know they're hot AF)
Edit: Added two more inspo pics -- top right is in his truck, bottom is in his Porsche (ignore the hoodie for this fic).

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Fingertips puttin' on a show Got me now and I can't say no Wanna be with you all alone Take me home, take me home
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
You hop out of the car as soon as Joe parks in Ted's driveway, smiling at the group of guys (Joe's teammates) who come out to help y'all carry in the goodies you brought for the party; you greet the other WAGS as you enter the kitchen, shaking your head as the guys immediately run off to the backyard to jump in the pool and act up, leaving y'all to get the cocktails and snacks ready.
~ ~ ~
Thirty minutes later, you're sprawled on a lounge chair poolside, your eyes going wide behind your sunglasses when you feel a big, wet hand on your thigh.
"Need another drink?" Joe purrs, leaning down far enough to nestle his lips against your ear.
"Ummm, no thanks," you grin, nodding at your mostly-full margarita. "I've barely started on this one."
"Well, hurry up," he teases. "I know what tequila does to you."
You stick your tongue out at him as he takes two steps back before spinning around and diving in the pool, a dirty smirk adorning his full lips as he surfaces and slings his wet hair out of his face, his long fingers pushing the dirty-blonde locks back as he gives you a loaded look.
~ ~ ~
Forty minutes later, you ease off of your lounge chair and head toward Joe, glancing down to make sure your boobs are still fully contained in the teal bikini top you're wearing as you approach the table where he's playing cards with a few of the guys; you lick your lips as you take in his short-sleeve shirt, unbuttoned and splayed open in a way that showcases his chiseled torso.
His gaze settles on you as you walk toward him; his eyes are unreadable as they're hidden behind his Cartier shades, but his lips curl up in a way that let's you know he's enjoying the view. "Hey babe," he greets you.
"Hey," you echo, walking to stand behind him for a few heartbeats as he shuffles and deals, his long, agile fingers expertly handling the cards in a way that makes your toes curl. "You need anything?" you ask as you grip his shoulder, your voice a little more breathless than you intended.
"I'm good," he replies, "but why don't you sit and watch a few hands," he continues, wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you down on his lap. "Okay," you murmur, smiling at the other guys seated at the table before returning your attention to Joe's hands and forearms as he smoothly manipulates the cards, his summer tan creating a nice contrast that sets off his blonde arm hair. You squirm a little as a naughty thought hits you, biting your lip when his thick thigh flexes under your butt in a way that seems totally intentional.
You watch him win four hands in a row before planting a kiss on his cheek and standing up, throwing him a look over your shoulder as you walk back to your lounge chair.
~ ~ ~
A little while later, as you're sitting on your lounge chair talking with the other WAGS, you hear a loud yell; you quickly look up to see the guys running around in the grassy yard behind the pool, tossing a football around while playfully shoving each other. While you watch, Joe hollers something at Ja'Marr who takes off running, easily sprinting away from his defender then looking back at the perfect time to catch a pass from Joe.
You smile when Joe immediately looks in your direction to see if you saw the absolute dime he just dropped; it was a perfect spiral, spanning the entire width of the very large backyard before hitting Ja'Marr in stride as he sprinted into the 'end zone'.
"That was a dime!" you holler, clapping your hands a few times before giving Joe a thumbs up. He takes a quick bow, a huge smile on his face as Ja'Marr runs up and hands the ball back to him, bouncing with energy as Joe leans close to call his next route.
You watch the guys play for about twenty minutes before rolling onto your stomach, your breath catching in your throat a few minutes later when you feel Joe's hand on your bare back.
"Let me rub some sunscreen on you," he offers, his voice teasing your senses as he grabs the bottle of coconut-scented sunscreen sitting on the pool deck beside your chair, squirting a dollop in his hand before slowly massaging it into your heated skin.
You grip the edge of your lounge chair and enjoy the feel of his strong hands on your back and legs, your pulse pounding at the noise he makes low in his throat when you spread your legs a little as he dips his fingertips just under the elastic of your bikini bottom, both of you knowing exactly what would happen if y'all were alone.
~ ~ ~
Later that night -- just after sunset -- you take the last bite of your second taco followed by the last sip of your second margarita, smiling at Joe as he digs a tortilla chip into a fat mound of guacamole before offering it to you, his eyes on your mouth as you open wide for him.
"Sooo good," you moan after you chew and swallow, grinning when he holds your empty marg glass up and gives it a shake. "One more?" he asks. "I'm already tipsy," you admit, opening your mouth as he offers you another guac-loaded chip with his free hand. "Half a glass?" he asks. "You're not driving," he continues.
You slowly chew and swallow the tasty bite in your mouth, studying his face for a sec before responding. "Half a glass," you agree, giggling when he hops up to go get your cocktail.
He comes back a few minutes later, handing you the partially-filled glass as he sits beside you. "There's a line of thunderstorms headed this way, so we'll need to leave a little earlier than we planned," he states, watching your lips as you take a hearty gulp of your cocktail.
"Oh darn," you faux pout, grinning when he leans forward and presses his lips against your ear. "Can't wait to get you alone," he murmurs, squeezing your thigh before leaning back and giving you a look you feel in your core. "If you keep looking at me like that," you whisper, "we're gonna be leaving in about thirty seconds."
"Hey Joe?" Ted hollers, breaking the porny spell; Joe turns his head to see what's up, grinning when Ted waves him over to help cut the watermelons. "Be right there," Joe hollers, giving you a sheepish look before dropping a quick kiss on your lips. "This won't take long," he mutters, rushing off as you take another sip of your tangy drink.
You finish your drink before following him, slowly walking up to the table they're cutting watermelons on.
Watching your man cut a damn watermelon shouldn't feel like foreplay, but here we are, you think to yourself, taking a slice as Joe hands it to you, your eyes following a rivulet of pink juice as it runs down the long length of his middle finger.
"Thanks," you whisper, taking a bite and chewing slowly as you watch him finish cutting the wedges before grabbing his own slice, biting into it while making eye contact with you.
Oh, this if def foreplay, you think to yourself, holding eye contact with him as he devours the sweet, pink flesh, his sinful lips curling up in a dirty grin as the juice drips down his chin.
~ ~ ~
After helping with clean up and telling everyone good-bye, y'all get in the Porsche and pull out of the driveway, hoping to make it home before the storm hits.
"Did you have a good time?" Joe asks, throwing you a smile just before he turns onto the highway, quickly picking up speed as the first few raindrops hit the windshield.
"I had a great time," you sigh, turning your head to look at him, your eyes lingering on his profile for a bit before focusing on his left hand gripping the steering wheel; you squirm in your leather seat as the streetlights slide by in intermittent flashes, highlighting the prominent veins and tendons as they snake down his sinewy forearm into his hand.
"What are you thinking?" he asks, flicking the windshield wipers on as the rain picks up.
"Something I've thought a million times before," you answer.
"Tell me."
"I've told you a million times before."
"Tell me again," he urges.
"You have ridiculously sexy hands," you murmur. "I mean, you have ridiculously sexy everything, but especially your hands. I've been perving on them all day."
"I know," he admits, flashing you a quick grin as he reaches over and wraps his right hand around your thigh, giving a light squeeze before continuing. "You've told me you're turned on by watching me shuffle and deal cards, so I made sure to give you a show today."
"You're a shameless tease," you pout playfully, watching his hand as it inches up your thigh.
"It's not teasing if I'm gonna deliver the goods," he purrs, the cocky smirk on his face quickly replaced by a look of concern as y'all crest a hill and start down the other side. "What the hell?" he grumbles, the tone of his voice making you quickly turn your head to look at the road, eyes going wide at the sight of traffic stopped completely and the flashing lights of several emergency vehicles.
"Looks like a bad wreck," you mutter, grabbing your phone to check a traffic app as Joe slows down and finally stops the car, the rain coming down even harder as you read the latest alert. "It's a jackknifed big rig," you sigh. "It's blocking both lanes, but they expect to have it cleared in ten or fifteen minutes. Good news is there aren't any injuries."
"Just some dumbass driving too fast on slick roads," Joe grumps, taking a deep breath and checking his rearview mirror as another car comes to a stop behind y'all. "This fucking sucks," he groans, taking his left hand off the steering wheel to rake his fingers through his hair in agitation.
"It's okay," you soothe. "We just need to have a little patience."
"Fuck patience," he scoffs, making eye contact with you while slipping his right hand under the hem of your dress (a stretchy, pull-on strapless teal minidress you're wearing as a cover-up). "We've got at least ten minutes to have some fun before traffic starts moving again," he continues, grinding his fingertips against your clit through the slinky fabric of your bikini bottom, his tongue slowly sliding along his plump bottom lip as you instinctively arch your hips up into his touch. "Take these off," he orders, tugging on the elastic waistband as your eyes go wide in surprise.
"Maybe we should wait 'til we get home," you mutter. "What if someone sees what we're doing?"
"We can barely see the brake lights of the car in front of us, much less actually see into the car. There's no way anyone can see us any better."
You turn your head to look out the windshield, confirming that you can't see much due to the darkness and the heavy rain pouring down. "Okay," you whisper, quickly kicking off your flip-flops before sliding your bikini bottom off, your core clenching in anticipation at the sensual promise in his request.
As soon as you lean back in your seat, his hand is under your skirt, his fingers teasing your slick folds as you spread your thighs to accommodate him. "So wet for me," he groans, dipping a finger just inside to gather moisture before sliding back up to play with your clit, rubbing lazy circles while you squirm against his hand. "I've been wet for you all day," you admit, your voice sounding breathless and needy, your pulse pounding as he adds a little more pressure to your aching nub.
After a few minutes, his talented fingers have you close to climax, with his hot gaze and dirty talk helping push you toward the edge; as you squeeze your eyes closed and lean into the feel of your impending orgasm, his voice breaks through your pleasure-fogged brain.
"Shit … traffic's moving," he grits out, taking his foot off the brake and rolling forward, slowly at first then picking up speed. You press your thighs together, squeezing his hand between them and wanting to yell at the frustration of being so close to bliss and then having it snatched away.
"Relax," he soothes, left hand gripping the steering wheel and his eyes firmly on the rain-slick highway and the traffic in front of him. "Spread your legs for me," he urges.
"Is this dangerous?" you whisper, spreading your legs as he continues to tease your clit with his fingertips, massaging you with just enough pressure to make you scoot lower in your seat and tilt your hips up, your body silently begging for more.
He flicks a quick glance at you before returning his attention to the road. "No, it's not dangerous," he states. "The rain is slacking off and traffic is thinning out," he continues, his deep voice sending a shiver down your spine as he slides his fingers lower, teasing your entrance for several heartbeats before sliding inside.
You bite your bottom lip and grab his forearm with both hands, digging your fingers into his warm skin as you lift your right leg and prop your bare foot against the dash, both of you groaning when the new angle allows his long fingers to slide deeper inside you. "Don't stop," you beg, looking down to watch him finger you while he grinds the heel of his hand against your clit, his forearm muscles flexing and rippling as he continues to pleasure you.
A minute later, your climax hits so hard your entire body shakes as you squeeze your eyes closed, your back bowing away from the seat as the waves of pleasure roll through you, his fingers continuing to stroke you through the orgasm as you whimper his name.
You eventually flutter your eyes open and realize he's exited the main highway, and the car is now at a complete stop at the end of the exit ramp. You turn your head and lock eyes with him, your breath catching in your throat at the look on his face as he pulls his fingers out of you and slowly lifts them toward his lips, the glow from the streetlights illuminating the sheen of your arousal on his long fingers; he gives you a wink as he slides them in his mouth, licking and sucking them in a way that's got you ready to jump naked and straddle him.
"You need to hurry up and get us home," you whisper, squirming in your seat as he gives a quick nod and looks both ways before easing out into the sparse traffic on the road leading to your neighborhood.
You take a few deep breaths to calm your hammering pulse, your gaze flicking between his sexy profile and his hand gripping the steering wheel. Fuck it, you think, reaching over to palm his erection through his swim trunks. I can't wait another second to touch him.
He inhales sharply as you run your thumb the length of his hard shaft several times. "You a little impatient?" he asks, his grin cocky and his voice husky with arousal.
"More than a little," you admit, removing your seatbelt as he finally turns onto the street y'all live on; you lean across the center console, dropping a kiss on his neck before giving it a lick, the salty taste of his sweat making you more lightheaded than the tequila you drank earlier. "I'm a little tipsy, too," you purr, licking him again, your pulse reacting when you feel him swallow hard.
"I know," he states. "Can you do me a favor?" he continues.
"Yeah."
"Get naked for me."
"Right now?"
"Yeah. Right now."
"Yes, sir," you breathe, dropping back into your seat as he makes the turn into your driveway; you shimmy out of your cover-up and bikini top just as he pulls into the garage and throws the car in park. He glances over his shoulder, making sure the automatic garage door fully closes before stripping his shirt off and tossing it on top of your discarded clothes.
"I smell like sweat and coconuts," you giggle, giving your armpit a sniff as he shoves his swim trunks down to mid-thigh, freeing his erection.
"You're about to smell like sex," he growls, patting his thick thighs before reaching for you, helping you crawl across the center console to straddle his lap; you watch as he grips his cock and lines it up with your entrance, your hands clutching his shoulders as you impale yourself on him, whimpers spilling from your lips at the delicious stretch as you slowly take every inch of him to the hilt.
"You feel so fucking good," he groans, letting his head fall back against the headrest, a hiss escaping his pretty lips when you hit a Kegel on him. "You got me red-lining already, baby," he rasps. "Don't push it."
You give him a naughty grin just as the garage light cuts off, plunging y'all into darkness. "Shit, hold on a sec," he grumbles, leaning forward and hitting a button that turns the light back on before cupping his hands over your breasts, sliding his thumbs back and forth over your hard nipples several times before gently pinching and tugging them in a way that sends a rush of liquid heat into your core.
You start riding him as he continues to tease your nipples, managing a few good thrusts before the alcohol and dopamine in your system let you know it's a bad idea. "Damn, this might be a bad position," you whisper. "I'm a little dizzy and my legs are super shaky from that mind-blowing orgasm you gave me."
"Let me help," he offers, wrapping both hands around your hips, his strong fingers digging into your flesh as he lifts you up and down, doing most of the work for you as you lean forward and nestle your lips against his neck.
"You're so strong," you purr, rubbing your hands over his muscular arms and smiling as he tightens his grip, bouncing you even harder on his cock when you dig your fingernails into his broad shoulders and latch your lips onto his neck, sucking hard enough to leave a love bite.
The small interior of the car creates an intimate cocoon where every sound is amplified, especially the sound of heavy breathing and the lush sound of him pounding into your wet heat, your bodies slapping together on every thrust.
"I'm close," you eventually whine, gasping when he tilts your hips forward, changing the angle to hit your sweet spot as he bucks up into each thrust, his grunts sending sizzles of heat down your spine as you slide a hand into his hair and give it a tug.
A few more thrusts and your climax hits so hard it literally takes your breath away, the pleasure overriding everything else as your walls contract hard around his thrusting cock until he explodes inside you, both of you groaning at the sensation as your core continues to pulsate around him, milking him dry.
Several minutes elapse before he speaks up. "That was crazy hot," he pants, his hands rubbing up and down the length of your trembling thighs for a bit before coming to rest on your plump butt.
"Cr … crazy hot," you finally manage, leaning back to meet his gaze, both of you chuckling at how fucked out you look. "I don't think I can walk," you admit. "My legs feel like jelly."
"You don't need to walk," he soothes, opening his car door and gently helping you out, holding onto your waist as he steps out beside you and hitches his swim trunks up with his free hand. He pushes the car door closed before picking you up bridal-style, giving you a grin as he walks toward the entry door. "I think I'll ask Ted to host another pool party before the season starts," he states.
You giggle at the look on his face. "You had a good time, huh?"
"Hell yeah, and we're not done yet," he purrs, easily holding you with one arm while dropping a hand down to open the entry door before flicking the garage light off. You give his bare shoulder a playful bite as he steps into the house, a swarm of butterflies taking flight in your stomach as he graces you with a filthy wink before kicking the door closed and striding for the stairs.

step bro jschlatt?
YES OMG my first request! Thank you so much, anon!18+ (Or what ever your legal adult age is below the cut!)Disclaimer: I am a pathetic virgin so this probs won't be good. (I'm figuring you'd wanted smut...) so sorry if i mistook that.
When your mom first introduced you to Jeremy and his son, you were polite, of course. This guy made your mom happy, and you weren't going to do anything to ruin that, God knows your dad made her upset enough before he did you all a favor and left. That's not to say that it was easy, considering how obnoxious Schlatt was.
Schlatt made it painfully obvious he wanted to be anywhere but at that dinner. The entire time, he was fixated on his phone, not paying attention to anything being said, or the glares his dad kept shooting him, and undressing every waitress that passed by with his eyes. What a dick. He was even so full of himself to not go by his first name.
A few months down the road after Jeremy proposed, you and Schlatt were forced to spend more time with each other, being the maid of honor and best man. Venue tours, tastings, wedding details to be discussed in your new family chat, Schlatt of course only chiming in when he was forced.
Walking down the aisle next to Schlatt was the closest you two had ever been, stiffly linking your arm with his, cheesy picture day smiles stapled to your lips, pretending like you didn't hate each other.
As the years went on, you relationship with Schlatt changed. You still didn't like each other, but he talked more at family dinners and didn't seem like he wanted to off himself anytime you had to go somewhere together.
The downside of Schlatt getting more comfortable in the new family dynamic was now you argued like brother and sister.
You were watching a movie by yourself one day, lounging on the couch in the living room when Schlatt walked in, stood in your way for a minute, and then when you asked him to move, proceeded to halfway sit on you.
"Schlatt get off of me!"
"I'm not on you."
"Yes you are asshole, now get off." You told him, shoving and kicking him off you.
"Kids, please you're 16 and 17 years old. You don't need to argue like this all the time anymore." Jeremy shouted from the kitchen.
"But Dad he started it!" you cried. Schlatt just scoffed.
"I did not, the little princess is taking up the entire couch."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Am not."
"Are too."
"Y/N, Jonathan, so help me I hear one more word from either of you you're both grounded." your mom cut in.
Glaring at Schlatt you sat up so your feet weren't taking up so much space as Schlatt moved to the other end of the couch.
"You guys will have the house to yourselves tomorrow, your mom and I are going out of town to visit a friend, and we won't be back until Saturday night." Jeremy informed.
"Fine."
"Alright."
Answering disinterestedly, you and Schlatt kept watching the movie.
After school the next day, you waited for Schlatt at his truck. It'd been a long day, and you were getting a headache; you just wanted to go home and sleep.
"Alright Ted, I'll see you later. Yeah, 7:00 sounds great, see you then." You heard Schlatt speak into his phone, finally walking up.
"You going out tonight?" You asked, hopeful that you'd have the house to yourself for a nice, quiet night.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you? No, Ted and Charlie are coming over." Schlatt answered, dropping into the drivers seat next to you and starting the car.
"Do they have to come over tonight? I was kind of just wanting a quiet night, go to bed early." You knew how loud and annoying Schlatt could get with his friends.
"It's not my fault you're fucking lame, princess. The world doesn't revolve around you." He answers, looking over his shoulder to back out, hand on the back of your head rest.
"Fine, Schlatt." You rested your head on the window, not in any mood to argue.
After getting home you dumped your bag on the kitchen table before heading to the medicine cabinet searching for ibuprofen.
Popping a few you headed upstairs to your room.
"I'm heading to bed early. Please try to be quiet with the guys tonight." you practically begged.
"You feeling okay?" Schlatt asked, seeing you take the medicine.
"I'm fine, just a headache. Goodnight."
You passed out pretty quickly, waking up a few hours later, your stomach growling.
Hearing the strangely quiet house you walked downstairs to find something to eat, seeing Schlatt sitting on the couch by himself, scrolling through his phone with some show playing in the background.
Noticing the time, you figured that his friends would be here by now.
"Where are Ted and Charlie?" you asked, voice rough from sleep, startling Schlatt.
"I told them I changed my mind." Schlatt said plainly. You wondered if it had anything to do with your headache.
"Too bad." you said, rubbing your eyes.
"I ordered a pizza, there's some left if you're hungry." Schlatt called, looking over his shoulder at you.
"Oh. Thank you." you whispered, seeing the pizza box sitting on the counter.
Walking over and opening the cardboard lid you saw your favorite toppings. Schlatt was always sure to make fun of your tastes in pizza whenever you had it as a family, so you were surprised. Nevertheless, you took a slice, quickly eating it before you took another piece and walked into the family room, sitting by Schlatt on the couch.
"What are you watching?"
"Hm? Oh. I'm not sure, haven't really been paying attention.
"Mmm."
You sat in a strange silence. Not the usual comfortable 'We're-not-firends-but-we're-forced-to-be-around-each-other-so-we'll-deal-with-it' kind. This was...awkward.
"So-- how are you feeling, princess?"
Schlatt must have noticed it too.
"Oh, um. Better. Thanks."
"Good."
Back to silence.
"Schlatt?"
"Hmm?"
"What made you change your mind about tonight?"
Your step-brother was quiet for a moment.
"I figured you'd wanted you sleep. You seemed quiet on the ride home and then you took the medicine-- I just thought it'd be best if it was just us tonight."
"Thank you, Schlatt. That was --sweet --of you."
This was different. This was the nicest you had ever been to each other.
"You're welcome, (y/n)."
Another heavy silence.
"This is weird right?" You asked.
"Oh, so fucking. I'm glad you caught that too."
Smiling you reach over and steal the remote off the couch arm next to him.
"What the hell do you think you're doing with that?" Schlatt moved to take it back.
"I wanna watch a movie and you're not even paying attention to the TV right now."
"Was too."
"Was not."
"Brat."
"Asshole."
Schlatt smiled towards to you. This was normal. This was how it was supposed to be.
"Fine, just don't put anything stupid on."
"I would never do such a thing. Alexa play Twilight Breaking Dawn." you say, looking straight into his eyes and trying not to laugh.
‐----------------
"Shut the fuck up it was all fake?"
"A vision of the future, yes."
"Unbelievable. This series actually puts in a good scene and that's what they do with it? Take it all back?"
You and Schlatt had been making fun of the movie the entire time, it was the most fun you'd ever had with him. You actually had close to the same humor and were getting along pretty well.
Calming down from you laughing fit you let out a big sigh as you lean your head back.
"Why don't you think we've ever gotten along?" You ask, turning to face him.
"What do you mean?" He asks, leaning back into the couch.
"You've always seemed like you hated me or something. Like I was this big inconvenience that came into your life."
"I never hated you, princess. I don't know, I think it might have just been hard, you know? Mom had been gone for what seemed like 10 minutes and all of a sudden Dad is dating this woman and I have a new step-sister. It kinda seemed like he'd forgotten her and our family."
"I've never thought about that."
You knew that Schlatt's mom hadn't been gone long before Jeremy was out on the dating scene again, only a few months really, but you didn't think about the fact that Schlatt actually loved his mom, had a good relationship with her. It wasn't like you, who hadn't cared about your other biological parent.
"I'm sorry, Schlatt." You said, putting your hand on his shoulder and squeezing.
"I'm sorry I made you feel that way all this time, Princess."
Schlatt looks over at you, and you can tell he's the most sincere you've ever heard him speak. And in that moment, you realized how bright his eyes were when he was happy, more of an amber instead of the chocolate brown you'd originally thought. His slight smile, the scar on his strong chin you'd learned he'd gotten from playing baseball when he was little. So many little things you were too busy hating him to notice before. And then, you noticed how close you were sitting, bodies turned towards each other, his arm across the back of the couch behind you. You didn't have time to register any of it before you noticed his lips on yours.
The kiss was warm, gave you chills, firm, soft, hungry, caring, everything it could be all at once. And wrong. But god, it felt so right. Your eyes fluttered shut --
And then it ended. Schlatt pulled away, and scooted as far back from you as he possibly could.
"(y/n) I am so sorry. I kind of just got caught up in the moment, and you were sitting there and you had that sweet look on your face that you always have, and your hair looked so good, and your lips looked so soft and -- God i'm so stupid. I'm so so sorry--"
"Schlatt--"
"I know, it shouldn't have happened. It just felt right in the moment and I--"
"Would you shut the hell up? I'm not mad."
"You're not?"
"Listen, yeah the situation isn't exactly ideal. But it's not like you're actually my brother."
Schlatt scooted the tiniest bit closer to you. You could see the little hamster wheel in his head spinning, calculating every little move he did.
You decided to test the waters and scooted closer to him.
His hand inches closer until it's resting on your thigh, but once it is he can't keep them off you. You're pulled into him, one hand in your hair, the other pulling your leg over his before sliding it up your back. His lips are fighting hard for dominance over yours, and just for good measure his tongue decided to come out to play too.
"Schlatt-" you whisper a moan. Pulling away to catch your breath, your head leans back and Schlatt moved to suck on your neck. Catching his lips in a kiss you mumble out a soft admonition.
"No hickeys."
"Wanna mark you up baby." Schlatt growls out.
"But what would mom and dad say?" You weren't necessarily the most popular with guys at school and you'd never brought a guy over.
Groaning Schlatt moves away from your neck.
"I know you're right, but, fuck Princess." He looks all over your flushed face, before racing his eyes over the rest of your body, his once shining amber eyes dark, pupils blown wide with lust.
Smiling you press your lips against his again, craving something you'd gone so long without.
You can feel Schlatt smile as his hands trail down your back before sneaking past your shirt, tickling the small of your back.
It wasn't enough for you. Reaching down you pull your shirt over your head and hear a repressed moan from the man sitting beneath you.
"You're perfect." Schlatt breathes before leaning in and kissing your bare chest, thanks to your decision to forego a bra during your nap.
Tangling your fingers in his thick chocolate curls you tug, trying to assert the slightest bit of dominance.
Schlatts fingers dug hard into your hips, holding you tight to his lap, making sure you could feel what you were doing to him between your thighs.
Rocking slightly seeking for any kind of friction, you're almost immediately pushed on your back, lying with Schlatt hovering over you. His body was so warm...so hard against yours....
"Gotta be careful, Princess," Schlatt pulled you from your thoughts. Leaning down to brush his lips against yours, he mumbles a quiet "or I won't be able to stop myself from fucking you right here."
This was it, there was no coming back from what had been said. Both of you knew that, and something told you neither of you cared in the slightest.
"Then don't." You leaned up, pressing your lips fully against his, trying to show him how much you needed him.
Schlatt returned the kiss with the same if not more enthusiasm, before lifting himself slightly to take his shirt off. He didn't outwardly show it, but Schlatt was built like a mountain, strong and broad, and no one had ever looked so good to you.
Leaning back down to kiss you, you place your hands on his mutton chops, slightly scratching his cheeks with your nails as his hands travel from your neck down your chest, stopping to slightly tease your hardening nipples, drawing a whine from you.
"Aww, does my baby like that?" Schlatt moves to your neck again leaving hot open mouthed kisses.
"Mmhmm," you babble, your pleasure making your brain foggy. You can feel Schlatt chuckle against your throat.
Giving one of your nipples another quick flick, Schlatts longer fingers tickle down your stomach, stopping to run along the waist band of your leggings, which you'd decided were too hot to wear any longer
"Please take them off, Schlatt."
"Please what, Princess?"
"P-Please, Daddy."
"Good Girl" Schlatt purred into your ear before sitting up to slide your leggings down your legs.
Schlatt watched with wide eyes, taking in every inch of revealed skin.
"God, baby. These legs are going to be the death of me."
"Oh. Shame, I thought maybe it'd be drowning between them." You whispered.
And then immediately cringed.
Schlatt barked out a laugh. "That was the lamest thing you've ever said, and you've said a lot."
"Fuck you."
"Oh, no, Princess. I think you've got that confused." Schlatt leaned back in once your leggings were off and captured you lips with his, letting his tongue explore every inch of your mouth.
God was he a good kisser. You were already nearly out of breath and moaning into his mouth. Your fingernails were digging into his back, holding on for dear life, too out of it to even think that you might be hurting him.
But as good as this was, you knew you needed more. Needed him, all of him on top of you, inside you, under you. Wrapping your legs around his waist, you tried your best to push his sweatpants down.
Schlatt took your hint and pushed his sweats and boxers down, letting his dick spring out, harder than anything you'd ever seen and perfectly curved.
His kisses became desparate before moving to your neck, sucking hickeys before you could stop him as he ripped your damp thong off.
Breaking the kiss you look down in surprise. "Schlatt!"
"Shut up i'll buy you a new one I promise." He barely spit out before kissing you again.
Letting his tip kiss against you your back arched from the stimulation you'd been craving.
"Good baby girl. You like that, huh? Like feeling Daddy's cock? God it's barely touching you, you little slut."
All you could do was nod, who the fuck knows what he was saying to you.
Kneeling, Schlatt looked down, watching him push further into you.
"Schlatt-"
"Shh. It's okay honey. I know, I know it feels so good, doesn't it? Now open that gorgeous little mouth for me."
Letting you mouth fall open Schlatt pushed in two of his fingers, making you gag.
"Oh, are they too much for you, sweetie? Are my fingers too thick for you? Jesus Christ how are you ever going to take my cock? Come on, baby, you need your practice. Suck on your Daddy's fingers."
Taking a deep breath you shut your eyes, doing your best to focus on sucking on his fingers, pressing your tongue against them.
"That's it, angel."
Once he had you preoccupied he trailed his other hand across your thigh. "I'm going to push all the way in now, Angeltits. It's going to hurt, but I'll go fast I promise."
Nodding against his fingers, Schlatt pulls them from your mouth, now covered in your saliva and placing both of his hands against your hips before pushing the rest of his length in.
Throwing your head back you gasped, hot tears falling from your eyes and a sharp stinging taking over.
Schlatt immediately leaned down, hands coming up to hold yours against the bed on either side of your head, kissing your tear streaked cheeks before whispering reassurances against your lips
"Shh. I know baby, I know. Just hold on, it's going to feel so much better, I promise. I'm gonna take care of you honey. That's my girl. So good for me, aren't you Princess? Just hold on to me baby."
"It's so much, Daddy."
"I know. Don't worry that's all you'll have to take until your ready, yeah? M'right here my love."
Hearing the sweet words fall from his lips another round of tears form in your eyes for an entirely different reason. Wrapping your arms around his neck you pull him close to you, chests pressed against chests, wanting him as close as possible to you.
After a while and the paid had faded you started to feel how full you were and how nice it felt. It was like a piece you never realized was missing was put back in place and you were whole.
Kissing Schlatt's cheek you nod, silently asking him to keep going.
"Yeah?"
"Mm. Slowly?"
"Of course, baby. Anything you want."
Schlatt slowly starts to move back and forth, inch by inch, letting you get used to the feeling. He knew this was your first time, and he was going to make sure that it was the greatest experience for you.
And what an experience you were having. You didn't even know something could make you feel as good as you felt right now. Even when you would try to take care of yourself, it was nothing compared to this. The feeling was making you arch your back, crane your neck, grip the cushion beneath you, doing anything you could to just--let out this feeling.
"Shit-" You let out.
"Feeling okay, sweet cheeks?" Schlatt smirked out.
A moan chased away whatever you were about to say as he hit a spot inside you. A spot that had your toes curling.
"I'll take that as a yes."
Once Schlatt reached a steady pace of moving in and out of you, his hand moved between your legs, gently brushing against you.
"So wet, baby."
He continued his ministrations and hip movements, going faster and faster and each thrust he seemed to press his hips harder against you, like he was trying to break through a brick wall that would let his dick claim more of you.
You had no clue how much time had passed, but it was enough that you were both covered in a thin sheen of sweat, and you could feel it running down your forehead and down your neck. Your hair was curling around the edges, and you felt sticky. Looking up at Schlatt took your breath away, no longer seeing your step brother but an Adonis above you, his thick hair damp and pressed against his forehead, his eyes closed in pleasure and mouth hung open as if in silent prayer.
You began to feel a burning between your legs, that delicious pressure building and buliding in your tummy.
"Sch-Schlatt."
Schlatt could only nod quickly, falling to stick his face in your neck, breathing in your scent and panting hard against you.
"Come on, baby. Let go. I"m right here, right there with you."
A few more thrusts had you seeing a bright lights and your ears ringing as you sank your teeth into Schlatt's shoulder. You could feel Schlatt groan and felt his warm cum spill inside of you in thick spurts.
Lounging in the afterglow, both of you panting, Schlatt leaned his neck up to place a long, slow kiss against your lips.
"You did so good for me, Princess. I'm so proud."
Giving Schlatt a sweet smile you kissed him again, your eyes growing heavy with exhaustion.
Slowly sliding out of you to avoid any more stimulation, Schlatt leaned down to pull up his boxers, kicking off his sweats and heading to the guest bathroom and bringing back a warm damp washcloth.
"Here we go, baby. Come on, lets get you cleaned up."
Gently wiping your thighs clean, Schlatt took care of you, making as much of the sticky feeling as he could go away.
Putting the washcloth on the coffee table, he helped you pull on his sweats and letting his shirt fall over your head, picking you up and letting you wrap around him like a koala before heading to the stairs to his room.
Looking over his shoulder you see the mess the two of you had made, washcloth on the coffee table, your clothes strewn about, cushions all over the place and the large wet spot where you'd been laying.
"The couch-" you mumbled tiredly.
Schlatt turned to see what you were talking about before giving you a sweet smile and kissing your temple.
"It's okay sweetheart. We can clean up tomorrow before our parents get home. But right now we have to go to bed, okay?"
Nuzzling into his neck you place soft kisses in agreement and let your eyes fall shut.
You were already half asleep when Schlatt lied you down and pulled the blanket over both of you before pulling you in to his chest and letting you turn to rest your head on his chest, letting his quick heartbeat and fingers softly grazing down your arm lull you to sleep.
"Love you, Princess." You heard him whisper before you fell asleep, thinking about your step brother.

hi rikki!!!! some thoughts rattling around in my brain at 1:19 am:
fratboy!tedschlatt over winter break????
they’d make a groupchat with the three of you in it because how could they stay without talking to you for two weeks? ted would get you something sentimental and nice like jewelry and schlatt would get you three matching hoodies (he’d also send you one of his hoodies that smelled like him, labeled “don’t tell ted”, knowing the three of you made a bet about who could simp the least). but imagine the CHAOS when you send them a picture of you wearing the new hoodie and jewelry on christmas day.
you: *sent a picture*
schlatt: damn doll, show me what’s under that sweatshirt
ted: schlatt shut up, it’s my turn today
schlatt: you shut the fuck up, she’s my christmas present
ted: YOU shut the fuck up, i have her today
schlatt: no the fuck you dont???
you: why am i here again??
them not being able to help themselves when you surprise them at the frat house wearing their christmas presents.
AHHH i <3 tedschlatt
yours truly,
- 🤭 anon
ANNA YOUR BRAIN
sending a selfie saying “thank you for my beautiful gifts my boys. i love you both so so much <3” and them going crazy, especially schlatt who is a horndog at all times
them fighting over you and you sit there laughing at everything, until you get an idea. you knew both of them stayed at the frat house this past holiday season so it wasn’t empty so you made the drive up to the college and were very happy to see that ted’s truck was missing from the parking lot. you ran into the house using the spare key they left with you and sat down under the tree
the boys came back with target and old navy bags, they’d bought junk snacks and matching pajamas for the three of you. schlatt dropped one of the bags and saw you scrolling your phone under the tree. “ted, you see her too right?” “jay you’re crazy there’s no way sh-” he stopped short when he saw you in the hoodie schlatt bought for you all and the necklace with their birthstones on it, “hi babies!”
they fought over who got to hug you first before you stood up and hugged them both at the same time. “lost the bet, i missed my boys too much.” you smiled up at them. ted kissed your forehead while schlatt went for your cheek
the three of you changed into your matching pajamas and hoodies and cuddled up on ted’s bed watching christmas movies. “best present ever doll.” “absolutely love.”

All my favorite moments in blue beetle: a very long and silly list because this is my new fav movie ever (latinos on top fr)
The fact that the entire movie is low key a representation of how lost people can feel after they finish college and don't know what to do with their life.
How celebrated it is that Jaime is a first gen college student
As much as I loved him being from el paso, I love that he now gets his own city that it still deeply rooted in latino culture
How despite the fact that everything is going bad for the family, Jaime still tries to keep moral up and be positive
Jaime stands up for Jenny without thinking
How his persistence is what ends him landing up with the scarab, and subsequently keeping it out of victorias hands
Am I allowed to say his entire family? The scene where they're all pushing him to open to the box was so funny. Their dynamic felt so real, and it makes even more sense because apparently any time they were bickering it was improv.
How well the movie handled micro-aggressions against latinos. Like the receptionist didn't even attempt Jaime name, and how Victoria would never get her scientist's name right. They are subtle, but very real problems.
Maybe this was just me, but from the trailers I thought Jenny and Jaime already new each other, but I liked that they just met. It made their story more interesting.
The body horror route they decided to take with the suit was so cool.
The suit in general. I missed practical suits so much, and it just looked so amazing.
Another thing, that has already been talked about a lot but idc, is that I still am so in love that his family knows from the get go. Of course it wasn't really his choice, but I love how there is never any big secret, and they are constantly in the picture.
I know the Khaji-Da doesn't have as much personality compared to the comics, but the whole sequence where Jaime first gets the suit was so funny.
Notoriously in the comics the beetles were sent out to worlds to be the harbingers for their creator species to invade said world. I loved the small detail in the intro of the blue beetle crashing into the green beetle and then having a flash of electricity. I wonder if that was to hint at a malfunction, since the Khaji-Da never goes to evil with Jaime.
I love Rudy's truck. It's stupid but that's why it's so good.
The whole family debrief was was funnier than it should've been, and the beetle on Jaime spine looked wicked as well.
I thought it was interesting how much of a presence Ted Kord had on the movie, mainly because. of Jenny, but it was still there.
Every. Single. Latino. Reference. I could barely keep up there were so many good ones omg, the details were amazing.
For Jenny being an original character I thought she was done very well
I love how Rudy was useful and basically got them into kord industries.
I love the way we only see Jaime eyes in the suit. It's a different approach to what we've seen with masked heroes so far and I love it
How much they talked about the first two blue beetles, I thought adding that context made it better
They made it very evident how lonely Jenny feels, and I think her small emotional moments really paid off in the end.
I love how Jaime was so openly affectionate with both Rudy and his father, it's something uncommon with men in latino cultures and I loved seeing it.
The entire sequence where Jaime's house was being raided was so uncomfortable. And it was in moments like this were I thought Soto did a great job of weaving real world problems latinos face within a superhero movie.
The moment when Jaime's father had a heart attack, and Jaime was being dragged away, and his sister was screaming was just so heartbreaking and powerful. All of them were hurting so much.
I loved how active his family was, and how all of them immediately went to go rescue him.
Side note: the bug ship looked so cool and goofy and I loved it so much
How Jose was actually very curious about Jaime's connection to the beetle, but Victoria didn't care
The whole dream scene with Jaime and his father. I thought it perfectly mirrored their conversation from the beginning of the movie, and I thought it was incredibly moving. Not to mention I loved the detail of Jaime wearing the last outfit he saw his father in.
I loved that Jaime saved himself, but that his family greatly aided him. I thought it was a great metaphor for the fact that you can do things on your own, but having support can really make the difference
I thought it was so funny that Jaime absolutely refused to kill, and his family members did it was a smile on their face lmaoo.
I know it's cheesy, but I always love it in superhero movies when the main character finally accepts their destiny and it was a very cool moment for Jaime too. But I will say I think they did it with an interesting approach. For most superhero movies the big moment is the superhero finally deciding to go out of their way and fight the big bad, but in this movie he just finally fights what's right in front of him.
How once Jaime accepted himself as the Blue Beetle, Khaji-Da started speaking to him in spanish and adopted his ideologies, further proving their relationship is a two way street.
I loved that Khaji-Da stopped Jaime from killing Carapax, because he was justifiable angry, but he would've regretted it at some point
The low key plot twist of the locket Carapax had not being his wife and child, but being him and his mother. That was genius tbh.
I loved that Jaime had the iconic 2000s superhero half masked fight. This movie felt so 2000's but in the best way possible.
How the entire final act was circling back to the point of loving his family making him weak, but throughout everything we've seen, it's clearly the opposite.
I liked how once Jaime bonded with Khaji his mask would come on and off on command.
How Jaime started wearing his father's necklace in the ending :(
I loved the entire score so much, the synth wave vibe they decided to take was fantastic. I also love how iconic and recognizable they made blue beetle's main theme. Like the bum bum bummm that kept showing up was so good.
I really loved how they aged Jaime up to 22 as a newly college grad. I feel like superheros are always either 16 or 40 and there's never any in between, so it was nice to see.
And for my last point to a very long list: I loved that in the end Carapax helped Jaime and Jenny. Because the real villain was Victoria making them fight each other, and in my opinion that was such a powerful metaphor for latinos and any pocs

Brothers Best Friend (Jschlatt)
prologue, part one, part two, part three
The night air was cool as [Y/N] sat in the passenger seat of Tristan's car, the dim glow of streetlights casting soft shadows on their surroundings. Tristan's car was sleek, the kind that garnered second glances from passersby, and it seemed to reflect his personality perfectly—smooth, confident, and undeniably attractive.
The evening sky had darkened considerably, and the comforting hum of the engine provided a stark contrast to the awkwardness she had left behind at the diner.
"Thanks for picking me up, Tristan," [Y/N] said with a warm smile, genuinely appreciative of his gesture. "I didn't want to interrupt Ted's post-game celebration."
Tristan chuckled, shifting gears smoothly as he pulled away from the curb. "No problem at all. To be honest, it was a good excuse to bail on my study group. They were starting to drive me insane."
[Y/N] raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "Oh, really? What happened?"
Tristan let out an exasperated sigh, his frustration evident. "There's this girl in my group, Jessica. She's smart and all, but she just gets so damn emotional about everything. It's like she can't handle any kind of criticism."
As he spoke, a condescending tone crept into his voice, and [Y/N] felt a twinge of discomfort. She didn't like the idea of someone belittling their study group partner, especially if it was over something as trivial as emotions.
"I see," she replied cautiously, not wanting to dive into that topic any further. "Well, sometimes people just have different ways of handling things."
Tristan scoffed, clearly not satisfied with that response. "Yeah, but we're supposed to be a team, you know? We're all trying to graduate here."
Wanting to change the subject and alleviate the tension in the car, [Y/N] decided to steer the conversation in a different direction. "So, how have you been otherwise? Anything new going on?"
Tristan's mood seemed to lighten as he shifted gears again, taking the conversation away from the subject of Jessica. "Well, you know how it is. Classes are a drag, but I've been keeping busy with work and stuff. Nothing too exciting, though."
As the miles rolled by, [Y/N] tried to keep the conversation light, asking about his plans for the weekend and any upcoming events.
Back in the diner's parking lot, Ted and Schlatt had lingered behind as the rest of the baseball team dispersed. Ted's curiosity about Schlatt's behavior earlier in the evening gnawed at him, and he couldn't let it go.
"Schlatt, what was that all about with my sister?" Ted asked, his tone a mix of concern and confusion as they leaned against Schlatt's truck.
Schlatt's eyes remained fixed on the ground, his hands shoved deep into his pockets. He seemed unwilling or unable to meet Ted's gaze as he responded, "What are you talking about, Ted?"
Ted wasn't buying it. He knew Schlatt well enough to recognize when something was bothering him. "You know what I'm talking about. You were acting all weird, making comments about her photography and whatnot. What's going on?"
Schlatt sighed, his breath forming a visible puff in the cool night air. He glanced up briefly, his expression guarded. "I don't know what you're talking about, man. She's your sister, not my problem."
Ted wasn't satisfied with the evasive answer. He prodded further, frustration seeping into his voice. "Schlatt, come on. You've known [Y/N] for ages. You're like family to us. You can't just act like that."
Schlatt's shoulders tensed, and he finally met Ted's gaze, his eyes flashing with a hint of irritation. "Look, Ted, I don't know what your deal is, but I'm not here to babysit your sister. She's a junior, for God's sake. She can handle herself."
Ted's frustration only grew. He didn't like the way Schlatt was deflecting and avoiding the conversation. "Schlatt, it's not about babysitting. You know how protective I am of her. If something's bothering you, you should just say it."
Schlatt sighed again, his irritation giving way to resignation. He knew Ted well enough to recognize that his friend wouldn't let this go easily. "Fine, Ted. I don't have a problem with her. Can we just drop it?"
Ted wasn't entirely satisfied with Schlatt's response, but he could tell that pushing further wouldn't lead to a productive conversation. He relented, though not without a lingering sense of unease.
"Alright, Schlatt," Ted conceded, his voice softer now. "But if something's bothering you, you know you can talk to me about it, right?"
Schlatt nodded, his gaze dropping once more. "Yeah, yeah, I know, Ted."
With the conversation left hanging, the two friends climbed into Schlatt's truck, each lost in their own thoughts. Schlatt couldn't help but wonder why he had reacted so strongly to [Y/N]'s presence earlier, and Ted couldn't shake the feeling that there was something his best friend wasn't telling him.

I think that the local Santa Carla residents actually liked the lost boys. I say this as a person who works in a family owned bake shop in a seasonal town. If there were a group of boys who clearly were vampires, I'd tell them all about the worst or creepy customers. I'd give them the gossip about Joe, the creepy man who stalked a 14 year old boy. Or I'd tell them about a customer that pulled out a gun. And on the flip side, I'd tell them about my favorite customers who I wished the best for. I'd literally have a list for them every week of people who I wouldn't care if they were eaten and people who should be spared. I wouldn't be afraid to walk to my truck at night in a parking lot because if someone attacked me I'd give a description to the vamps and let them have fun.
I feel like they very well had something similar in Santa Carla. The surf Nazis sucked- let's be real. But it wasn't until the whole gang stole from a small, family owned shop on the boardwalk that the Lost Boys finally killed them. Everyone seemed to know vampires were around anyway, so why not have a symbiotic relationship with them? The guard on the boardwalk had a little more background in the book that was a bit problematic. No wonder David killed him. I seriously doubt all the missing people posters were from just the lost boys.
Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

Pretty when I cry - Ted x GN!reader
Tumblr media
summary: comforting ted after a rough day
warnings: poor boy cries ;(

word count: 527
Ted had been gone for around a month. It was lonely in your guy's shared bed, but you knew he wanted to do this. Long story short, he was visiting every single Margaritaville in the US and Canada.
You didn’t know why, but you weren’t against it. It was an interesting idea.
Today was meant to be the time he got back, and based on how he was when he called you earlier, he didn’t sound too upbeat. He sounded absolutely jaded, plus mentioned how he simply wanted to hold you.
The second you heard his truck pull into the driveway you were out of the bed, rushing to meet him by the door or outside.
He didn’t even exit the front seat by the time you were on the porch, his gaze finding you and smiling softly to himself. He waved to you before finally getting out, a tired groan leaving his lips as he slowly made his way towards you.
Your arms wrapped around him in an instant, a wide smile on your lips as you buried your head into his chest. “I missed you so much.” You looked up at him, noticing his tired expression and somewhat teary eyes.
“Hey, what’s wrong?” You spoke softly, watching as he held you tighter and buried his face in your shoulder. “Just really missed you.” He sighed lightly, before standing up straight and gesturing for you to go inside while he grabbed his things.
It was heartbreaking to see him in this state, but you listened to his words, making your way to the couch and patiently waited for him.
Sure enough, his head soon found its way in your lap, allowing you to play with his hair. He took off his glasses and handed them up to you, to which you placed them on the end table.
“You wanna talk about it?” Your words were quiet, your fingers combing through his hair softly. “I just missed you. And your hugs.. kisses.. voice.” He sighed and buried his head into your thigh, and of course you felt light tears on your skin.
You frowned lightly, tapping his shoulder to silently tell him to sit up, to which he did. You gently grabbed his face, noticing how even with teary red and puffy eyes, he was the most handsome boy you had ever seen.
“You still look pretty as ever.” You smiled slightly at him, watching as his expression softened and he shook his head. “No, I don’t.” He sighed and leaned forward, trying to catch your lips in a kiss.
“Hey, no, no. Not until you admit.” You placed a finger against his lips, watching as he smiled widely and rolled his eyes. “Fine. I look pretty when I cry.” Of course his tone was sarcastic, but you gave in and kissed him for a second.
“Good, you’re learning.” You wrapped your arms around his shoulders, giving him a warm hug. His arms found their way around your waist, burying his head into your shoulder and smiled to himself.
“I love you.” He whispered into your ear, before kissing your cheek softly. “I love you too, Ted.”

Down With a Headache
Modern AU!Jay Schlatt x Fem!Reader
(You and Schlatt are best friend and go to school together but when he finds out you have a headache everything changes)
Fluff.
Warning - A/N: This was heavily rushed, the editing I mean, so I'm so sorry if it doesn't seems as good but this one is just a filler for the time being, Physical Touch.
Word Count: 1.9k
Last period ended about 90 seconds ago and this dumb headache still won’t go away. You had plans to hang out with friends later but with this thing pounding like a jackhammer who knows if you’ll be able to stand up when you get home. You step out onto the sidewalk ready to take the longest and most painful walk of your life when a truck pulls up next to you rolling down their window, “Weird of you to walk without your headphones on, huh?” Of course it was your best friend, Jay. “Yeah Jay, sometimes a girl needs to think, you should try it sometime.” “Which one being a girl or thinking? He grinned and came to a complete stop on the side of the road. You turned to look at him, “Really.” you rubbed your forehead. “Ok, I’m sorry.” He raised his hands up in surrender. “What’s up?” You painfully look up to the sky and back at him with a big sign, “Is it ok if you drive me home?” A serious look came across his face at your request. You’ve only asked him once to drive you home and it was only because it was late at night, reasonable, but in broad daylight and 60 degree weather was a little crazy in his opinion. He parks the car and walks over to you. “Hey,” He tried to catch your gaze but it was too far to keep a hold of, he puts his hands on your shoulder and squeezes them. “What’s wrong, doll?” You couldn’t stand it when he called you that but it’s not because you hated it but because you loved it, you give in and look up at him. His brown eyes felt as if they were searching your soul for the answer you weren’t giving him. “Jay, I’m fine, can you take me home or not?” He frowned at your response but not wanting you to wait any longer, he agreed.
He pulls into your driveway. You notice that your mom’s car isn’t there, “Well that’s just great…” He looks at you and puts the truck in park “What?” You open the door and step out, “Thanks, tell the others I won’t be able to make it tonight.” He raises an eyebrow and opens his side door, “What do you mean, you aren’t coming?” He notices that you weren’t slowing down so he gets out of the truck to catch you, gently grabbing your hand. “I know you like being stubborn and all but why won’t you tell me what's wrong, you were quiet the whole ride here and you didn’t sing a single song on the radio. I mean, I don’t know about you but that doesn't sound like the girl I know, hm?” You look down at your interlocked fingers, blushing, you take a big breath, “Alright, fine. Jay, I have a headache and it’s been pounding for most of the day. All I want to do right now is lay in bed with some hot tea and a movie playing in the background, is that too much to ask?” Feeling embarrassed you glance at Jay’s hand, still holding yours. “I…didn’t want you to worry.” A smile tugs at his lip, “Doll, I worry about you already, but…” He slowly moves his free hand to cup your face, “...But this time is different.” He closes his eyes as he brought the hand holding yours to his lips planting a kiss on your warm palm. You didn’t flinch, you didn't pull back, you simply let it happen. You admire his gesture with a smile, you bring both hands up to his face, running your thumbs along his cheeks but with the headache still not gone you struggle to keep a smile on your face. You lean your head against his chest, snuggling into his body. “I’m sorry, you probably want to go inside?” He says looking back at your front door. You nod against his chest.
Just as you both were heading to the door you hear a car horn blare from the street, you and Jay turn to see who it was. “What are you two love birds doin’ here and not at the spot we talked about?” Ted, you thought. You look at Jay,“I’m guessing you didn’t tell them I wasn’t coming?” you mumble. Jay looks down at you with a chuckle, “You mean we?” Your eyes widened, “What-” He turns to the street and shouts towards Ted, “Um, yeah Ted, we’re not going to be able to make it tonight. I’ll text you later.” Ted was going to say something but Jay pushes you through the door before he can get anything out.
You saw Ted’s car drive down the street from your window, “That was a little rude of you to cut him off like that.” He rolls his eyes, taking your hand and leading you to your bedroom. “I was nice enough to let him talk, doll.” He opens your bedroom door and lets you sit on your bed. Flustered, you hesitate to speak, “You’re not thinking what I’m thinking right?” you say as you raise your eyebrow. He leans towards you with his hands on your bed, “Get your head outta the gutter, miss, you’re going to rest.” he smirks and walks over to your closet. You stand up to help him, “Just because you’ve been here before doesn’t mean-” But as you speak the headache pounds a little harder than normal making you wince at the feeling. “That’s why I walked over here alone.” He grabs your waist making you grab his shoulders, slowly, he guides you back to the bed. He mutters, “Stay here.” You take one look at him and know he’s being serious, you raise your hands in surrender. He walks back over to the closet and pulls out a hoodie and shorts for you. He hands them to you, “I’ll be waiting outside.” He went to walk out but you held his hand. You stood up slowly, not wanting to wake the beast inside your head, “Thank you, Jay.” you say softly, almost weak. He scans your features then cups your face with his hands, “I’ll help you in any way, shape, or form, ok?” You give him a small nod, running your fingers along his forearm, “Ok.” He takes one last look at you then places a kiss on your forehead. As if the pain had slipped away with the kiss, you felt a lot better, you watch him as he walks out of the room, closing the door behind.
The both of you were sitting on the couch with chai tea and a movie playing in the background. You didn’t think he would have remembered your request but when you walked downstairs to the living room, he had snacks ready for the both of you and water heating up in the kitchen. You didn’t want to watch anything that would make you cry too hard, laugh too loud, or smile too big, so your options were very limited. “That’s impossible. Can you pick one?” He said with his head leaned back onto the couch and his arm around your shoulder. You happily said no to him. He glanced at you then back at the tv. A ring came from his side of the couch, “Ah shit…” It was Ted, he forgot to text him and now Ted was calling him. You look at him, “Take it, he’ll ask a bunch of questions if you don’t.” He signs and says sorry under his breath as he gets up. He doesn’t walk far to take the call, a few feet behind the couch was good. “Hey Ted, sorry I totally forgot to text you when we got inside,” He hesitates to say the next line, “I was busy.” You could hear Ted from the couch when he spoke, “What were you doing to be too busy to text me at least four words?! Oh no sorry let me rephrase that, who were you doing!” You laugh but Schlatt doesn’t, he walks to the kitchen.
Jay’s tone got low, “Dude, stop, just stop. I’m taking care of her, she looked like she was in physical pain with this headache that she has.” Ted cocks his head and squints his eyes, “Oh yeah, you definitely couldn’t have done it if she had a headache.” Jay palms his face, “Jeez, Ted, can you not think about sex for like two seconds!” Jay leans onto the counter with his elbows. “I’m just saying, headaches are really bad and I would never want one while doing it.” Ted shrugs his shoulders but Jay is not relaxed at all, he rubs his forehead with his fingers. “TED!” He said it a little louder than expected but he was trying his best to keep his cool. Ted breathes in, “Ok, ok. I was messing around. I know you really like this girl, I’m sorry.” Ted was about to say something else but holds his tongue. Jay clicks his tongue, “Thank you,” he pauses to look over at you, “And I’m sorry again for not being able to make it tonight.” Ted starts his car up, “No worries dude, go take care of your girl and then go take care of her some more afterwards.” Ted didn’t mean to wink but he did and Jay knew. “God, Ted. Whatever- thank you, bye.” He hangs up on Ted before he could get another word in.
Walking back to the living room, he notices you grab the remote and start looking through the movies. “Find one yet?” Trying to sound peppy but failing quite miserably. You look at him funny because of his tone, “Ted giving you a hard time?” He scoffs and sits down next to you putting his arm around you again, “Would you call it a hard time or him just being himself?” You let out a single laugh and went back to scrolling through the tv, “I guess it would be him being himself.”
You found one of your favorite movies to watch and made sure it checked off all the boxes for tonight. “This is one of my favorite movies so you better like it.” He looks down at you, “Or what?” You glance up at him actually thinking of a good response, “Or I’ll make you sit in the other chair.” He gasps so loud you almost thought he was drowning, “Then I guess I should like the movie?” You turn your whole body towards him trying your best to seem taller than him at the moment, “Yeah, I guess you should.” You look down at him, placing a hand on his neck, moving his hoodie further away from it. You glide your thumb across his jawline, making him gulp at your touch, it being so cold and so hot at the same time. Pressing a hand against your waist, he eyes your lips for a long second, wetting his lips before going back to your eyes, “May I?” he asks quietly. You nod, letting him go first. His soft lips finding their way to yours, bringing a rush of heat to your cheeks. You run your hand through his hair as you kiss him back, beginning a passionate kiss between the two of you.

___
Y/n pulled away from Schlatt, running out onto the porch and looking around for any sign of Ted.
"Leave him, he's gonna die anyway." Schlatt said from his place in the livingroom.
"You'd love that wouldn't you? You've always been jealous of him, even when nothing was going on. Always so fuckin jealous, I should've seen it before..."
Schlatt turned to you, anger in his eyes.
"Seen what before? That I was the killer? That I was the one who killed Kristen?"
Y/n began backing up, nearly tripping on the door mat. She turned and ran outside and around the house, nearly screaming when she bumped into a large figure.
Y/n was grabbed by the shoulders and slammed into the side of the house, and a hand covered her mouth.
"Mph!" She attempted to speaking, pulling the hand away. "Ted!"
Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him into a hug, "Are you okay? He stabbed you, I-I thought you were dead."
"I'm alright, the knife didn't get me where it's too serious."
"We need to call the police, where did Charlie go?"
Ted winced in pain, "He ran to the neighbors."
"Alright, we'll go there."
___
3 yrs later
"Hey, Y/n." Ted said, walking up to the counter of the coffee shop. She's been working there for a few months since her, Ted, and Charlie had moved.
"Hey, Teddy. How are you doing?" She asked.
"I'm alright, I asked out this really cute girl..."
"Lemme guess, she said she'll go out with you?"
"Nope, turns out she was over thirty and married with four kids."
Y/n slapped her hand over her face, shaking her head. "Are you kidding? You couldn't tell?"
"No, she's one of those women who developed late."
"Oh lovely, what was your reaction when she said she was over thirty?"
"I spit my mountain dew all over her...on accident of course."
Y/n giggled, leaning against the counter and waiting for another customer.
"When are you off?" He asked.
"45 minutes, wanna hangout at one of the tables till I'm done here?"
"Yeah...Y/n..."
"Yeah?"
"When you are done, imma need to talk something serious with you...okay?"
"Y-yeah...of course."
When Y/n's shift was over, she ast across from Ted in a booth. The look on his face concerned her.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"I got a call from a pal back home, apparently he caught sight of a guy that looked like Schlatt."
"Are you kidding? J probably fled the country after what happened."
Ted gave her a serious look, "Y/n this could get bad. My pal said the guy had the back of his truck packed like he was gonna go for a long trip."
"So? Why is he spying on some poor dude?"
"Y/n it was a black 2016 Ford F-150. Which is the same truck Schlatt has wanted since it came out."
Y/n felt a shiver roll down her spine, "What are you trying to say?"
"I'm saying this guy might be Schlatt, and if it is he might be coming here."
"How the hell would he know where we are?" She asked. "We didn't tell anyone that we were coming here."
Ted looked down at his hands, he wanted to say something and she could see it.
"Who did you tell?" She asked.
"Dennis Michelin."
"You told Dickhead Dennis!? You tell that man to keep a secret from someone and they're the first person he runs his mouth too!"
"I know! I was drunk! It was a mistake!"
"Yeah Teddy! A mistake that's probably gonna cost us our lives."
___
Y/n was walking back to her apartment, the night was cold and quiet. The street was dimly lit by a few blinking street lights. She walked through the grass next to her building and when her feet it the gravel of the parking lot, she immediately stopped.
There in front was a truck she had never seen before, it was a black Ford F-150. Y/n couldn't tell if it was a 2016 or not without opening the driver side door, but it's not like she was gonna break it some poor sobs truck just to see the year.
She went up to the buildings door, typing in the code and slipping inside. Y/n made her way up the steps and took out her key, hesitating to turn it once it was in the lock.
"This is just stupid." She whispered, "He doesn't know where you are."
With that Y/n took a deep breath and pushed her door open. Her apartment was quite, the lights were off. The moon cascading a blue tint through the livingroom and kitchen.
Y/n set down her purse and slowly made her way down the hall, she opened her bedroom door and stepped inside. Nothing had changed from when she left this morning, she took off her coat and set it on the bed.
Y/n held her breath and stayed silent, waiting for any sign of movement in her home. There was nothing but the ticking of the clock and the beat of her racing heart.
She sighed, going back down the hallway and into the kitchen. Y/n opened the fridge, about to grab the bottle of wine when a figure sitting in the chair in front of the window caught her eye.
Y/n spun around and went to grab a knife from the block when the figure spoke.
"I wouldn't do that, Y/n/n." The sound of a pistol being cocked caught her attention. "Be a good girl, and take your hand away from the knife...slowly."
She could hear it was J, is accent was stronger and his voice was deeper.
"J?" She asked.
"Yeah, princess. It's me."
As she turned back to him, he stood. J was bigger than the last time she saw him. His face was still shaded from the light being behind him, but she could see the gun being pointed at her.
"You gonna kill me?"
"Why would I do that?" His tone was calm, it made the butterflies return to her stomach. A feeling she hasn't felt for three years. "Hmm? Why would I kill you when I can just take you with me?"
"W-what?"
"I love you, Y/n. When I couldn't find you after you ran from me it hurt, and I was scared for you...I knew I messed up...I shouldn't have let you run."
"You say you love me...but you're pointing a gun at me."
Schlatt took a shaky breath, but didn't lower his weapon.
"Come here."
She stayed where she was, "No."
"Are you afraid of me?"
Y/n shook her head.
"Then come here."
She slowly took a step forward, waiting to see when would happen. All she could hear was his shaking breaths and that same clock.
Y/n finally got close enough to where their shoes were almost touching. He lowered the gun and set it on the table behind him.
His hand came up and closed around her throat, it wasn't tight enough to choke her but Schlatt could definitely feel her pulse.
"You are scared." He said, resting his forehead against hers.
"You're bigger."
Schlatt chuckled, placing his hand on her hip and pulling her closer. He leaned down and planted kisses against her neck.
"I've missed your scent." He whispered. "Your touch."
He slid his hands under her shirt, making her gasp. Schlatt was so warm and gentle, it was hard for her to see him as the person who killed their friends.
"Let me feel you, baby." His breath of hot on her neck. "let me take care of you."
"J-....n-no....we can't."
"Shh, I know you want it."
Y/n looked up at him, only this time she could see his face. He had chops and his hair was longer and pulled back with a head band.
She felt heat pool between her legs just at the sight of him.
"Ohh." He whispered, "She likes what she sees."
Without warning Y/n took him by the sides of his face and pulled him into a searing kiss. He picked her up and walked them into her bedroom, laying Y/n down on her soft mattress.
Schlatt began unbuttoning her shirt, planted kisses down her body.
Memories played in her head of Schlatt before that night three years ago. They were so close, she had always wanted to feel his body against hers and his voice as he whispers sweet praises in her ear.
Schlatt gripped her wrists and held her down, attacking her sweet spot and pressing his knee between her legs.
"I'm gonna take you with me, sweetheart. You won't ever have to run again."
