Actually, I thought about it and maybe that sounded a little corny, but Tsukimaru (sounds niceerrrrr,) & Taiyomaru I like the ring to this. Idk the name Setsuna is also super unisex, so I wanted to used that one too, bu then it's hard to get sunrise Setsuna out of my head. Lmk your thoughts on the name...hmm I might still change Taiyo's...I do like Tsukimaru..I think -maru is a masculine ending I believe

Yeah I really like Setsuna as a name too, though if you're making it a distinctly different character there might be some confusion there?

And yup "maru" is almost exclusively used for male names, most of the time. To be honest, personally, names with "maru" in it just feels a little weird to me because in modern contexts it's never used unless you're talking about the name of boats 😅😅 my grandparents have shared this common theory with me before too that people named their kids with that in the past because it was an 'ugly' name (it apparently comes from omaru which is a toilet lol) and an ugly name would repel demons from attacking or cursing them? Also if I'm not wrong olden days samurai changed their names as they grow and maru was used only when they were young.

Idk I know many fans' oc kids have a maru in it because, you know, Sesshoumaru has a maru in his name, but I'd encourage you to do more research before finalising on them :)

I just found this picture online (if you know the creator, please let me know!)

And it kind of inspired me to make a new blog also named by the title: A new reality. But I’m asking you guys if any of you know that there is already a blog about this to make sure I won’t get blamed as copying (Though, this image really is inspiring me a lot).

One more thing. Should I make this? I’m not sure as I already have two asks blogs (Though, no asks rn). I don’t really want to pressure myself a lot. And the story to this blog really didn’t form in my head as much yet.

A demon Lord fell in love with a human and together they raised a family. She became sick and died, and the Demon Lord removed himself to the skies in mourning. It missed the main components that he was a dog demon, and that she had died of old age, not of illness. Their children weren’t mentioned by name, nor the many adventures they went on. 

Fools, he told himself as he watched a young couple holding hands, throwing in new coins. There are no happy endings. There is heartache and pain, love and passion. The two always flow together.

         He touched the tree that held so many memories as if it were an old friend. He remembered their first moments, when he had taken her virginity underneath the tree. There were days he could still feel her shaking in his hands, and the sigh of her breath on his neck. He walked away, towards his clinic to begin another long day of treating the hopeless. 

Sota, Kagome’s brother was right. There were components in his blood that could treat and resist diseases, specifically Leukemia and Cancer. Sota would be a little boy, eight or nine years old. Kagome likely had just finished their battle against Naraku, and was banished to this side of the Well for the next three years until she would make her return at eighteen. Someone else had tried to warn her, to prevent what would come, to spare Rin the heartache she would go through. That’s why Sesshomaru had to find her. He knew that Goshinboku existed in this time. He watched through the ages as Kaede’s village changed from a forest with rivers, to the city of Tokyo.

Then one day a little girl and her family showed up at his clinic in the early 1990’s. He almost lost his lunch when the smell and sense of spiritual power came into his office. It was Kagome, her mother, father, and Sota when he was a baby. Kagome’s father was sick. He had Stage Four Leukemia. He was too far gone for Sesshomaru to save him with his blood. The raging fever that Rin suffered from was dangerous in the severely ill. His main goal was to get them healthy enough to use the mixture of his blood to save them. She would have liked that he dedicated his life eventually, to saving humans. It was impossible to continue the line of thought that he hated them, when he had loved one so deeply, when Harutoga and Tsukimaru took human spouses and before he knew it he was knee deep in mostly human grand-children and great-grandchildren.

         He sighed, hands in his pockets as he opened the door. It would be a long day with board members who wanted to shut him down.

My POV: Sunflower

Hiya to those who have decided to follow this side blog dedicated for fanfic. Thank you for your support! Now this piece of fiction is completely based off my musings one day after playing too many Ikemen Sengoku routes, both main and events. 

And it got me thinking.....If Nobunaga was saved by MC (currently renamed as Mai Mizusaki in the manga; do check it out) and Kenshin’s life was prolonged due to Sasuke crashing in, who on earth saved the Tiger of Kai?

This is my story and my OC involvement in the whole thing....

At Kasugayama courtyard

“Are you sure you want to come along, Aoi-chan?”

“Yes, Sasuke-kun. And don’t you worry about me. I’ve been surviving the Sengoku period a lot longer than you had.”

“......Don’t remind me… it took me close to a decade to narrow down and find out which timeline the wormhole sent you.”

“...I’m sorry, Sasuke-kun. But you are still pretty excited to end up in your favourite part of Japanese history.”

The young ninja pushes his glasses, giving a little cough as he tries to hide his excitement. Aoi Tsukimaru, his childhood friend and adopted sister gives him a smirking look before setting into what he calls ‘the strategist mode’.

“I’m just happy that the three gentlemen didn’t thought of stopping me, especially Kenshin-niisama. His treatment of my role as the Uesugi Princess way too seriously despite the name only status. But just in case my plan succeed, I’ve already left instructions on the daily routines of the castle to the maids and vassals in charge...”

Sasuke still didn’t like the idea she had in mind but he choose to shove it to the back of his head and continue to banter with her.

“I wouldn’t know that, given your tendency to boss everyone in the castle. That has not changed much the last time we spent time together….oh, look. Here comes Yukimura with our rides.” 

Aoi looks over her shoulder as she spots the three men she has mentioned. Yukimura Sanada, a vassal of Shingen Takeda is on top of his steed, his crimson attire reflecting the setting sun, casting a reddish aura around the young man. The other older guys, each riding their stallions of onyx and white.

“Aoi-chan, my sweet little sister. Are you sure there’s no other way to convince you to stay back in Kasugayama Castle?”

"Nope."

She looks at the former lord of Kai, before looking at the Dragon of Echigo, Kenshin Uesugi, the supposing current lord of the Uesugi Clan. Both men’s existences, according to history books, are supposed to have ceased. But intervention in the form of Aoi and Sasuke, has prolonged their lifespans and everyone present knows that the two warlords are living on borrowed time. This time, they have received news of their enemy, Nobunaga Oda, currently residing in Honno-ji. If Aoi’s hypothesis and Sasuke’s calculation are correct, there will be a wormhole later tonight and it will bring the final player into this alternate history.
