im so SO excited for all the "new" (only gaining a lot of traction now) ccs that are gonna pop up from ratsmp esp from audiences like tubbo and sniff's, i watched aismey and bill and bear all the way back from bearsmp and i've seen how the mix of famous streamers and microcelebrities and fairly unpopular creators who really just need a big break really benefits everyone and creates a more diverse mc cc scene is incredible. im just happy to see where this is gonna go

Here is my theory: so a lot of the people I know used to believe that BearSMP was canon to the DreamSMP and Tubbo had somehow been turned into a god by XD. And then that all went out the window when Aimsey joined. But what if………….Aimsey is the second time traveler. She used time magic to figure out why Tubbo was so sad whenever he heard a music disk, or something. That’s my theory

I also didn’t like the cricket crew streams. The first one was mainly bc I felt bad for tubbo who was trying to do a stream that went so off the rails (mainly bc of bill and Ranboo). But I got reallyyyy strange vibes from the others as well. It just felt weird and clickish imho

I feel like the c!tubbo/aimsey thing can rly only make sense through a bit of head cannoning(which I don’t mind that’s how I make a lot of the dsmp make sense/fun for me) like maybe canon deaths have more to do with the one dying than the way they died and c!aimsey being from the bearsmp where death is different, maybe the conviction that they were going to die made it canon while the other members early deaths weren’t. I also firmly believe that tubbo never actually meant to kill aimsey, and that he wanted to get hit once and vanish so he’d scare them. But then they refused, then tubbo’s punch had knock back and it all lead to their death. I also like to interpret tubbo jumping off after them as an instinctive attempt to reach them because at heart he’s not a villain no matter what he says (absolutely my own hc tho I just think it’s neat :D

But it is frustrating because it’s roleplay with unfixed rules so we as an audience have to find connections that don’t add up for continuity(which as said, doesn’t rly bother me at all but I can easily see how it matters to ppl)

I can definitely see the idea of him trying to get hit and disappear just to scare them, that seems a lot more in-character to me than the death, and yeah I definitely think the lack of any clarification of what a canon death actually is/means/how that sort of thing is determined can make it kind of hard to dissect lore sometimes lol
