I know we're all focused on the Juno Steel season finale right now, but may I take a moment to make a case for a live show of Mega-Ultrabots of Cyberjustice?

1: It would be 100% Joshua, Noah, and Kate content, which I live for.

2: I love the dynamics between Juno, Nureyev, and Rita in this episode. It honestly sustains me and this might be my favorite season three episode because of it, right up there with Man in Glass.

3: How would they do the robots, you ask? Puppets. Two cute little robot hand puppets and then Juno's big dumb robot puppet.

4: Marge Dunn.

5: The little attempted robo-kiss between Juno and Nureyev where Nureyev is small enough to fit in Juno's hand. I need it to be fully realized and visualized for me please and thank you.

6: Lastly, this could work either remotely or on stage.

Man in Glass is the obvious live show choice. Give me robot puppets instead.

(but also please give me a Man in Glass live show, I need Joshua in a fancy dress, Noah delivering angst, and always more Nova)

thinking a bit about this iconic line from mega ultrabots of cyberjustice pt 2

and first and foremost, of course, trans rights, but I've also been thinking about it in the context of junoverse's whole name/identity theme. I think one of rita's defining character traits is how quick on the uptake and not fussy she is. she's always been completely herself, and she can sometimes approach things with an overly simplistic worldview, but she is not set in her ways. she changes direction in life and takes in new information like a champ, and this line shows how that applies to her view of identity. why would she ever think she knows another person better than they know themself? it's not hard, people are who they say they are.

Does anyone have any idea what this is referring to??? As far as I can tell this is referring to an old grudge Juno has against Dark Matters from before the show, but I’m… not sure what that would be about exactly?? Maybe I’m just reading into this too much and this is more of a general grudge against corrupt cops from Juno’s time at the HCPD, but it feels more directed at Dark Matters itself. Am I forgetting something? Has this been addressed yet?

Enough of us noticed that Nureyev seemed particularly stressed during the Mega-Ultrabots of Cyberjustice (looked the title up because I never get it right) even before the mystery call that a LOT of fic (my own included) focus on the broken leg, Nureyev feeling trapped or incapable. That's all still valid but...

Shapeshifting robot. Something that could look like Juno but wasn't Juno. Did Nureyev wake up? Did he know something was wrong? Was Rita the next the person to say his name, making him sure he was truly in the real world?

start w something smaller or that wouldnt be pretty much guaranteed to get thousands of responses (ie shipping polls esp ones with extremely popular ships or dynamics), perhaps something you're familiar with so u don't have to realize at the semi finals that there's beef between the cutie twinkle fanbase and the ultrarobot2000 fanbase and also the the voice for the mc of cutie twinkle scammed 500 grandmas and the ultrabot ship you added is racist as fuck and also you accidentally used stolen fanart for one and entirely the wrong character in the other

and set up a spreadsheet to keep track of the submissions

i kinda wish theyd done a bit more with the jupeter dynamic in man in glass like the one where nureyevs really hurt and handles that hurt in his weird repressed frustrated way by being a total asshole like obviously i think the s3 jupeter dynamic is adorable and wonderful and sweet like everyone else and i see how they couldnt really do a big jupeter arc in the season thats meant to be fleshing out Other Non Juno Characters plus it would be harder to keep the reveal in mega-ultrabots of cyberjustice under wraps . but also it was SO fucking interesting and gave such an interesting lens to nureyev as a character NOT TO MENTION could be fucking hysterical at times . like i know it wouldnt work out but like ...... i would NOT object to another episode exploring how nureyev Deconstructs those feelings of resentment that hes built up to keep himself from being vulnerable and hurt and melancholy because it was really interesting and i think showed a less perfect side of nureyev that we really hadnt seen up until that point and seeing how he comes to terms with that would be REALLY cool . or at least see the conversation him and juno have together
