ok my two cents: i like them an alright amount, the bald head doesn't bother me so much really, but there are some criticisms

- they could've been a modern; nothing about their design pushes boundaries enough to warrant being an ancient. personally, i'm thoroughly sick of all breeds having wings. what i really wanted from an earth ancient was a big chunky spikey creature with no wings at all

- we have once again been cursed with the snub-nosed face. stop that

- there are a handful of genes that feel like they belong on this breed but they're not: pymorph, boulder/myrid, chryso/malachite, no glimmer again, where are shardflank and scorpion, veined, idk just feels like missed opportunities. i will hope for an expansion at some point (and that like um all of their prim/sec combos are ported to moderns thank you very much)

- with the delay in the lore why not just delay the entire breed? as others have said, we really don't need new breeds every three to four months. it's overwhelming. take your time. every other update doesn't need to be massive. and i can appreciate that we had years of no breeds at all, but this isn't how to make up for that

idk guys, i simply don't get excited for ancients anymore because they never do Enough with the freedom of design they're allowed to have. i will continue to beg for fire ancients that have the same vents as flamecaller where the fire is the secondary, for earth ancients with big spines and plates that are the secondary, for overgrown nature ancients with flora as the secondary. please be weirder with them thank you

DEJ & Pride Planning

June is sneaking up on me. 👀 It's historically a very busy month for me! I am planning on running Draw Everything June again. DEJ a drawing challenge where I post a new pose every M-F and artists complete a sketch of all the poses. This will be my 9th year doing it! Last year I had a prize pack of poses for everyone who finished it. I will probably do something similar this year so I hope you can look forward to it.

-- June is also when I do my fundraising for queer orgs to celebrate Pride. 🏳️‍⚧️♥🏳️‍🌈

This year I plan to fundraise for three groups again: The Trevor Project, Transgender Emergency Fund Massachusetts, and The Theater Offensive. I was thinking this year I might revive some expired packs, put them together into a big discounted Pride Pack II and use the sales from that for the donation. What I'd like to know is which past packs would you be the most interested in seeing? I was going to keep them queer themed (like the polyamory pack?) but I could revive any expired pack. It's fundraising so the more people interested, the better! You can see a history of all the themed packs since 2015 in my Master Post on Patreon. Please lmk which ones you'd like to see make a comeback for Pride! 🌟

lmao tumblr letting their users choose whether or not they want their likes to be public but then pulling a twitter 2.0 and showing your likes on your followers’ dashboards and specially saying who liked the posts in their new update, without the users’ consent or a way to turn it off, is actually pretty insane.

like how many times to we — the users — have to tell them we don’t want tumblr to be like any other social media platforms and that tumblr’s being different than twitter, instagram, tiktok is actually what makes us stay on this silly little site.

respectfully @staff you’re driving your users away. stop trying to “fix” things that are good and don’t need to be fixed. we want tumblr to be tumblr. we don’t want the site to be twitter or instagram 2.0

edit: so at first I was under the impression that you could turn off the “posts liked by blogs you follow” in your dashboard preferences, but couldn’t control how your own likes showed up on the dashboards of your followers, after I saw several posts claiming that this was the case. — however, now I think I might be wrong and it thankfully does look like as long as you have your likes set to private, they will stay private and will not be showing up on your followers’ dashboards. apologize for any misunderstanding this may have caused.

* from my understanding now, you can choose not to see other people’s likes by going to your dashboard preferences in the settings and turning off the “posts liked by blogs you follow” option, and if you have your own likes set to private, they won’t be showing up on your followers’ dashboards.

The situation worsens at the besieged Palestine Red Crescent ambulance dispatch center discussed here. PRCS reports that contact with the staff of the facility has been severed due to the IOF sabotage of telecommunications. However, other witnesses report a disturbing turn of events.

The IOF has now fully raided the ambulance dispatch center. They arrested all members of the medical and rescue teams, and have taken them to an undisclosed location. Within the center are still trapped many women and children, as IOF continue besieging the facility.
