"...so, in conclusion. Fuck you."

Diavolo blinked, turned to Barbatos, and then Sora, before coming back to Nagisa.

"Well... That was certainly informative." He reasoned after several seconds, idly crossing his arms as he smiled at the much, much, younger human boy.

Nagisa just kept glaring at him, and Sora kept trying to break free from Lucifer's iron like grip which seemed to only tighten upon her brothers closing statement, and Barbatos kept trying to smile despite being filled with seething rage.

Diavolo, though?

Diavolo was amused.

"Your reasoning was sound, well sourced, and given a rather personal touch-" He's cut off by a click of the tongue.

"You killed my sister, I doubt there would be anything less than a bit of a personal touch after such an incident," Nagisa bit out, voice still distinctly angry.

Somewhere from behind the council room doors, there was the distinct sound of a body hitting the floor, and several squawks of surprise, terror, and indignant complaint.

However, the present parties just remain in their stand off, (even if Lucifer does spare a moment to glare at the doors leading into the student council room, his grip once more tightening around Sora), oblivious.

"...so, have you ever considered attending school with demons?"

The Ubuyashiki family, by virtue of my overactive imagination, has come to the point that, due to reasons, no longer has contact with the maternal side of their family.

(By comparison, paternal wise, Mio and Yuzuru were dropped off at the Ubuyashiki's house around the same time Diavolo realized Lilith had human descendants still around, and subsequently crashed the twins fourteenth birthday.

It was also around this time, that in a completely unrelated manner, Arthur and Rupert got the shit beat out of them for hiring a Hell-Born Witch without informing Eirny or Bridget. Said witch might have been an overachieving Urisha Matthews, but I digress.

Schematics, yeah?)

Now, this has nothing do with a childhood incident, and everything more to do with Kunugi Akemi being legally dead on paper, and Ubuyashiki Ushio still receiving birthday presents from cousin Mizuki with incredibly cryptic notes.

Anyway.

Branching from this, there's a damn good reason Kunugi Akemi is dead.

First and foremost, Grandma Izumi and Granpa Sorahiko definently already have their favorites amongst Ushio's brood, and they're barely aware they exist.

(For the record, it's Sora and Minato, who fufill their idea of gender roles in a traditional household quite well.

...they do think Nagisa is absolutely delightful, however.)

Moving on, the Kunugi household, as whole, even today, isn't really a place for children to grow up in. Aiko and Sosuke have definitely taken after their parents in the raising children department, Himiko pretends that she's perfectly independent, 2hen she's not, and, again, on paper, Akemi's dead, cousin Mizuki, with his kids, Kiyomizu, Mikado, and Makoto, are a completely different batch of crazy...

(All of the Kunugi and Ubuyashiki family are named after anime/game characters, yes, hush, points to those who guess.)

So, yeah, this might come to a head at some point, mostly due to a mix-up between Ubuyashiki Sora and Kunugi Sora, Aiko's youngest daughter, involving milk, vegetables, wayward twin siblings, and projectile vomit.

(It's an event, to say the least.)

[The Kunugi family, for the record, is caught up in its own supernatural bullshit, which Kunugi Sora is absolutely not here for, and would enjoy the opportunity to return to the Yanagi household not smelling like an indoor pools rejected cousin.]

{Matsuri, Seimei, and Sakuya love her, they do, but the girl really needs to look into seeing if she has any luck based curses on her.}

(And no, Kunugi Sora does not live her with family. At least, not physically, on paper she does, but she's been bunking with the Yanagi family for so long that Matsuri is hard pressed to remember a time when she wasn't there, and the girl has nearly a full decade over Seimei.

It doesn't help that Kunugi just... sort of signed herself up for the same school as Seimei for half a dozen years. She has her parents signatures down to an art form at this point.)

[There's an extra futon that's so well used, Seimei has recently had to start scrounging money to buy a new one.]

Diavolo - Tormenter (ALL of the Ubuyashiki siblings has some beef with Diavolo. Sora's is more playful once everything is resolved, her siblings? Not so much.)

Barbatos - The Collaborator (However, Sora is the only one who has a rap sheet with Barbatos. It's more comical than anything though.)

Luke - New Little Brother (Didn't even think. The moment the boy gave her his number, this was the name already in the name bar. She was possessed by a higher being. It was meant to be. He got adorably huffy for several hours.)

Simeon - Christopher Peugeot (He's not living it down, plus she likes to see Leviathan absolutely freak the fuck out everytime he catches sight of the name.)

Solomon - The Sorcerer (Solomon set it himself, she can't change it. Period. It amuses him.)

Diana Hambleton - Witchy Apprentice (Set by Solomon alongside his own contact information. Diana gets twitchy whenever it's brought up, mostly because Solomon is set as 'Beloved Mentor' in her contacts. She hates him.)

Spade Hambleton - Time Traveling Cat Husband (Again, Solomon set the contact name. She can't change it, Mammon's convinced she has a thing for him because of the 'Cat Husband' moniker. Sora doesn't even have the Goddamn context for three fourths of his name.)

Eirny Hambleton - Emergency Contact??? (Diana's supposed half-sister, married to a vampire named Bridget, and is apparently a Hunter. Honestly, Sora has no fucking clue. The woman has only called to tell her that she was the one responsible for looking over her siblings, which she appreciates, but there was a lot of screaming involving 'Useless Hotel Managers', 'Tea Parties', and 'Goddamnit Rupert!' in the background.)

Bridget - Teacup Lady (All Sora knows about this woman is that Satan owes her half a dozen favors over a priceless tea set, and that she might be the vampire Eirny's married to.)

Marchosias - Sias (Marchosias's general preference when it comes to nicknames.)

Phenex - Bane Of My Existence (The brother's all have Phenex listed as some sort of expletive, alongside Mephistopheles, Sora's... Nice enough to just be slightly insulting.)

Mio - Cuzzo (This is in english, Mio set it, Sora is eternally confused as to why, it's not a word. She doesn't understand it's use.)

Yuzuru - Bargain Buddy (A store once owed them two hundred dollars.)

Rukia - Ruki (Besides thinking it a bit boyish, Rukia's actually okay with this.)

Iwata Mamoru - Secret Mother (Childhood friend, bit of a mother hen, which... is kind of justified considering the fact that he saw Sora nearly die the first time they met as kids. Utterly confused by the entire demon situation. Is a year older then her and Reiji. One of the potential guys Sora is probably dating whenever any of her other siblings end up in the Devildom. And yes. Sora still gets caught up in otome shenanigans, demons or no.)

Yamasaki Kishiko - Reiji's Fling (She gets pissed off whenever this name is brought up. Reiji's current girlfriend. Two years older than her and Reiji.)

Kasamatsu Jun - Bitch Baby (He pissed her off shortly before she got booted to the Devildom. The other childhood friend, and one of the other potential guys Sora is probably dating when she isn't involved with the Devildom.)

Akiyama Takeshi - Mamoru's Guy??? (Demonology expert, involved with the same organization Allegra and Luka are apart of. Met Mamoru at a coffee shop by 'accident', knows Solomon. Somehow. He owes Diana several thousand Grim, only in her phone in the timelines where she or Mio weren't the ones sent to the Devildom.)

Igarashi Shiori - Quiet Neighbor (One of the Ubuyashiki's next door neighbors, incredibly quiet and reserved. One of the people Sora might be dating in the alternate timelines.)

Igarashi Nanami - Loud Neighbor (One of the Ubuyashiki's next door neighbors, is the younger sister of Shiori and incredibly outgoing.)

Allegra Berlusconi - Girl With A Gun (Held her at gunpoint before giving her her contact information, a normally very cheerful, and somewhat naive, beyond that though. Has fierce conviction, and kind of squeezes Luke half to death when the first meet. Grew up with Luka Bianchi. An exorcist.)

Luka Bianchi - Exorcist (The young man in charge of Sora's neighborhood church, is only in her phone during the timelines where one of her siblings is the one in the Devildom. Is actually an exorcist from an organization, and is officially ordained. He and Allegra are noted to be romantically involved.)

Ubuyashiki Takeru - Father (The Ubuyashiki siblings father, a small time business man. He sports black hair and grey eyes.)

Ubuyashiki Ushio - Mother (The Ubuyashiki siblings mother. A red head with a fiery personality to match, and has dark purple eyes. An actress of some fame.)

Urisha 'Uri' Matthews - Cockroach (Personally set, an inside joke apparently. The nineteen year old half-human daughter of Dantalion, and heavily favors her mother in pretty much everything but hair color, and a supposed wannabe 'recruit' of Solomon's. Mostly a self-taught witch. Was almost the second exchange student before Diavolo found that Lilith still had living descendants. Trying to float under the radar until Luka calls in a favor in all timelines and she gets dragged into the story during season three. Has four pacts with preexisting demons, those being of Sitri, Gremory, Oriax, and Marchosias.)

This is of no importance to anyone but myself, but I have officially decided that my personal rendition of Lilith has navy-blue hair and wide red eyes reminiscent of a legitimate demon, the latter of which, she shares with Sora, albeit, Reiji's the one she actually resembles the most, and Sora's eyes are the wrong shade to begin with.

Lilith's look like freshly spilt blood, Sora's are more reminiscent of roses, (or so the sappy poems might claim).

I have no idea why I'm announcing this, but here.

Also, the Ubuyashiki siblings now have a cousin named Shibata Mio, who, for better or worse, is now apart of my line up of poor fucks who got drop kicked to hell.

(Also, yes, I did name my both my MC's after characters who oppose demons. Deal with it.)

[By comparison, Mio is named for the cherry blossom, signifying the brevity of human life in comparison to the brothers, and Sora is named for the fact that she comes from a place the brothers can never truly belong anymore.

In universe, Mio is named for the flower, Sora is named for her paternal grandfather Sorahiko.]

[Reiji is named for the fact that, in universe, he's the first born son, and for his maternal grandfather.

Nagisa is named for the place his parents met.

Ryuunosuke is... Well, the story changed every time with their parents, personally, due to 'Uncle Ryuu' the siblings think they just lost a bet. Mio knows they lost a bet.

Rukia is named for the flower.

Asuka is just... Asuka. They actually just picked her name.

Yachiko is named because she's their last child, and she's lucky to have survived her birth.

Ubuyashiki Sora, age fifteen, at dinner with her siblings. Two years before her events of the Obey Me! game proper.

Nagisa took her picture for a family tree project in the middle of eating because he was dead set on capturing each of his family members in their 'Natural Habitat', the little shit.

A year later, shortly after Nagisa came out, she was included in a slideshow he made during Pride with the tagline 'Disaster Demi'.

Sora's still not entirely sure if she should be pissed off or fondly exasperated because of it.

Anyway, the main Kunugi family, at it's most simple, consists of five children, two parents, two maternal grandparents, and one unmarried maternal uncle.

In order of birth, the children are as follows, Ichiru, Toshirou, Misato, Chiasa, and Sorahiko.

Kisuke is older than his wife Aiko by little more than four and a half years. Uncle Satoru is only twenty-three at the start of everything, and the grandparents, Kunugi Sorahiko and Kunugi Izumi are exactly a decade apart in age, with Izumi being the older out of the pair.

Kunugi Kisuke, it should be noted, married into the family, (and his 'maiden' name is actually Kobashigawa, and both his parents are there own pieces of work, also, one of his brothers is dead, alongside his wife, and he desperately wishes he had taken in niece when presented with the opportunity, mostly because, one, it would improve his relationship with Aiko by leaps and bounds do to the fact that the woman was in love with said brother and his best friend, secondly, it would mean that Toshirou, Misato, Chiasa, and Sora likely wouldn't exist).

The married aunts and Uncle's are as follows.

Kunugi Akemi, after faking her death and becoming Ryuzaki Ushio, married Ubuyashiki Takeru, thus becoming Ubuyashiki Ushio, and, at the end of everything, has nine children.

Her eldest are the twins Reiji and Sora, followed by Nagisa two years later, followed by Minato another three years after that, then Rukia another three years later, and then Asuka five years after Rukia's birth, at the end we have the triplets, Yasuo, Yaeko, and Yachiko, who were born six years after Asuka's birth.

Out of the twins, Reiji is older by two and a half days, due to complications concerning Ushio's and Sora's individual health.

Reiji was born on May 19th, and Sora May 22nd.

The triplets were born in the order of Yachiko, Yasuo, and Yaeko, with their being two hours between Yachiko and Yasuo, and fifteen minutes between Yasuo and Yaeko.

Aunt Akemi was the second eldest after Sosuke, with Aiko being the third born, Himiko the fourth, and Satoru the fifth.

[Satoru, for the record, lives up to his namesake, mostly by ways of fucking with his family, as, unfortunately, his charges are ten and under here, and he would sooner knife you than entertain the idea of traumatizing small children for the sake of a 'lesson'.]

Kunugi Sosuke has a wife, (who he's actually fond of, le gasp), and a single daughter named Chiharu. Who he keeps far, far, far away from the shitshow that is their family on a good day, beyond that, he's the only Kunugi sibling produced by Sorahiko and Izumi to be taken to court over something.

(It was an assault charge, but for all his apathy concerning Aiko, he doesn't regret beating the ever loving shit out of Edogawa Ryusei.

Never.)

After him is Aunt Himiko, who is married to a pediatrician from China, and has three children, and has, successfully, been able to keep all three of them away from her shitshow of a family. She has two sons and a daughter, but naming them would defeat the point if keeping them away from the family. So dah!

Cousin Mizuki is the son of Sorahiko's younger brother Katsuyuki, and is a divorced man, and the main caregiver of three children, mostly because his wife is an absolute mess of a woman on a good day.

In order of birth, they are Makoto, Mikado, and Kiyomizu.

He's a bit eccentric, but he's probably the best father out of everyone present, (Sosuke is too emotionally distant from his daughter to really count).

They have another cousin named Ishikawa Chou, who is the daughter of Sorahiko's older sister Jakushitsu, and is probably the nost adjusted out of everyone here. She's has an incredibly close relationship with all her children, is a relatively good person, and tries her best.

It's really, really, really not her fault all her kids are so fucked up, (and neither is it Kenta's), it's just fates way of cursing the Kunugi line with incredibly complicated filial relationships.

(Because yeah, the only person who has an even remotely positive relationship with Sosuke is Aiko, and that's because she wasn't actively raised by him.)

In order of birth, her children are, Katsuki, Yubari, Hyosuke, Mamoru, and Yuu.

On Aiko and Kisuke's side of the mess, Kisuke's family situation is... just as bad.

His parents most certainly had their own favorites, and they had increasingly fucked up ways to show it, as their favorites, Kazuhiko and Suzuki, were constantly subjected to emotional abuse, and verbally torn apart at any and every opportunity, with Kazuhiko finally snapping and trying to leave with his wife, daughter, and Aiko.

[And, yes, Aiko did bring along Ichiru, for those wondering.]

(And while Kisuke may hate his wife with a burning passion, and barely tolerate his children, nowadays he doesn't blame her from wanting to get away from it all.

He really, really, really doesn't.

But the fact that she refused to so much as inform him of anything was probably what killed any chance of love between them in the first place.)

{Kisuke doesn't really hate his children as much as he says he does, he has his problems with them, yes, but sheer unadulterated hate is pushing it.

More than anything, he hopes none of them ever turn out like him and Aiko.}

Unfortunately, there was an accident, ending in Kazuhiko, and his wife Sanae, dying. Their daughter an orphan, and released into the hands of Hinata and Asahi.

(Mikazuki is a wonderful take on a child never having a stable home life, like, ever, the longest she's ever lived in a single place was the year or so she spent in Suzuki's care as an infant, and, now that she's twenty-two, the two solid years she's shared a studio-apartment with her spouse Nishikinomiya Kouya.)
