5/27/23 - Catching Up! Double Chapter Upload: Ch. 56 & 57 Out Now! Vol. 11 Done; Next is Vol. 1!

Hello again, everyone!

First off, I would like to apologize for the lateness! Without getting too much into it, I’ve just been working a lot lately and I’ve been too exhausted during the times that I would normally work on scanlation that I’ve been passing out more likely than not. (It’s about a 85% chance that I instantly pass out after eating. And, let’s just say that these past three weeks, I’ve been making very unlucky rolls...) Unfortunately, that’s the way things are and I don’t foresee them changing anytime soon. Nonetheless, I will still carry on through regardless, so I thank you all for your understanding as we carry back through Volume 1 again and then onto the last two remaining Volumes...

As catch-up for my delays, I’ve decided to try and stay on schedule and post the chapter due two weeks ago and the chapter due for this two-week schedule. They should both be available on Mangadex right now! Please read them and tell me what you think!

For the future, I would just like to re-iterate that I’m still deciding on going back and making my own version of Volume 1. With that, I will be trying to edit the mistakes and up the quality of my entire scanlation thus far before beginning on Volume 11 and 12. This is a very selfish decision, but I believe it the best before moving onto the finale.

Speaking on the translation parts, I haven’t been able to finish translating the end of Volume 11 nor even completing the translations for Volume 1. Now that Volume 10 is completed, these will be what I will immediately do next. However, based on my current situations, I would expect some delays. I apologize.

And, I think that’s it for now! I thank everyone for sticking around with me and my scanlation and for enjoying this series alongside with me! As always, I am always looking to improve myself, my scanlation, and how I run this account, so, please, if you have any tips or criticism, please do not hesitate to send them my way! Сегодня только первое, а я уже посмотрела один из тайтлов...

Что ж, это было лампово. Сюжета как такового нет. Есть завязка, она красной нитью проходит через все повествование, а в конце к ней ненадолго возвращаются, но основное наполнение сериала - забавные, милые или светлые моменты повседневности персонажей, которых с каждой серией становится все больше. Изображение детей здесь обычное для аниме - просто кавайные чибики (но не такие уродливые, как в Реборне, больше на Hanamaru Youchien похоже, он, кстати, мог быть на месте этого тайтла, но я решила заценить что-то новое). Никто из детей не вызывал особого раздражения, наоборот, кто-то обязательно понравится (Котаро, конечно). Есть моменты, где поплакать, где посмеяться. Где-то тупо сидишь с приклеенной улыбкой, потому что милота и ламповость зашкаливает. Самый накал драмы пришелся на первые эпизоды, далее страстей гораздо меньше, хотя трогательные моменты есть на протяжении всех 12 серий. Не очень понравилас�� вторая половина предпоследней серии, точнее ее посыл. Если смотреть в общем, сериал не привносит ничего нового - все типажи и тропы на сто раз изучены, но это не мешает просмотру, как говорится - главное не "что", а "как". Мой вывод - если не хватает чего-то светлого в жизни, можно глянуть и станет чуточку теплее. Такие тайтлы для того и созданы, мне кажется. Вообще, я бы сравнила его с Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari, только у второго больше самобытности. Котик в коллекцию котиков -

Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari (Poco's Udon World)

ღ Taking a break from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo, Souta Tawara returns to his hometown in Kagawa. Though his parents are no longer around, his former home and family-owned udon restaurant reminds him of the times his family was still together. Reminiscing about his childhood, Souta enters the udon restaurant and discovers a grimy young boy sleeping.

ღ At first, Souta thinks nothing of the chance encounter and provides the boy with food and clothing. However, to his surprise, the boy suddenly sprouts a furry pair of ears and a tail! Souta soon learns that the nameless boy is actually the rumored shapeshifting tanuki that has been inhabiting Kagawa for many years. Thinking that the boy has been living a lonely life, he decides to take him in and name him Poko.

ღ Udon no Kuni no Kiniro Kemari follows the heartwarming relationship between Souta and Poko, and through the time they spend together, Souta recalls his own past, the place he left behind for the city, and the relationship he had with his father.
