I feel like out of the Hook siblings, CJ is the only one who will go on to be a pirate.

Hear me out.

Harriet seems to be the mom. She carries the weight of the world on her shoulders. She took the role of caring for her siblings, and looking after the dock and pirate children. And from how it sounds, she doesn't have a large crew or anything like that. Her brother is in the large crew. Out of the three, Harriet is the one who will likely really settle down. Maybe she'll live on a houseboat, or right by the sea, but stability and quiet would be good for her.

Harry will follow Uma to the ends of the earth. Where Uma goes, he goes. But as of D3, it seems like Uma is going to be helping with the VK's. I can't see her abandoning them, instead she'd help create a good world for them. Sure, they can be in Auradon, but will all of them really leave the Isle? Or will they work to make a better place, while also finding homes and shelter for there kids? But since Uma likely isn't going to travel the seas, Harry won't either. (He'll still claim he's a pirate, he was raised one after all and that will never change. He just isn't out living the full pirate life)

But then you have CJ. CJ craves adventure. She craves the sea, the journey of finding treasure. She seems more interested in the searching for the treasure then finding it, to be honest. But in some ways, she reminds me of one Elizabeth Swann. If any of the Hooks decide to brush off good (to an extent, they aren't evil), and go the full pirate route, it's going to be CJ. This doesn't mean she won't visit, she pretends she doesn't like her siblings, but we know she loves them. She'll drop by unexpectedly, say hi to them and maybe visit Freddie, and leave before anyone else in Auradon knows.

But this is just my take on the Hooks and the life of a pirate, I'd love to hear others takes!

CJ Hook- the not so Jolly Roger

Heads up: I am still not a doctor, the research I do is minimal and I embellish for dramatic effect. If you know more about what I’m writing about than I do, just suspend your disbelief a little bit

CJ, the baby of the Hook family…not very supervised. CJ was often described as a “wild child” by her sister and a “damn loon on par with the boy” by her father, which really meant she wasn’t one for thinking more so doing and then worrying later…which often bit her in the ass later on

Food was scarce on the Isle, or at least sort of edible food was. CJ’s siblings often went hungry to make sure she stayed fed growing up, Harry saying he’d just go eat with Uma and Harriet saying she wasn’t hungry anyway. Granted, the food CJ was eating wasn’t that great of quality, stale bread with the mold scraped off, rotten eggs and vegetables, whatever fish Harry managed to fish up if they were lucky, safe to say the girl grew up with a strong stomach, which she’d sometimes use to her advantage

Maybe it was her yearning for adventure, maybe it was whatever parts of her brother’s insanity rubbed off on her, but CJ liked to play a little game with other residents of the Isle. You could give her the most rancid piece of food you could find (which wasn’t hard, it’s the Isle of the lost) and if she could keep it down, you owed her five dollars, and she always kept it down…when people were looking

Once eyes were off her, the day often turned into CJ going to the farthest corner of the Jolly Roger to throw up whatever she had put in her body, usually while one of her siblings (Harriet, usually, Harry if she was lucky, at least he wouldn’t scold her for playing this little game) she’d always say she’s fine and that it wasn’t a big deal, though her shaking body and slightly sickly pale skin would tell a different story. And yet, she would rinse and repeat this process every couple of days, for no other reason than she could

When CJ managed to sneak onto Auradon, she got a taste of Auradon food, usually small pastries that Freddie would steal for her…holy crap were they good! The lack of mold or overall decay was definitely nice, the food actually having a taste other than unholy was also welcomed, but uh…who would’ve thought that Auradon food would have a very similar effect on the young pirate as Isle food…but worse

She’d spend hours curled on the floor trying not to throw up on the floor, the food may have tasted amazing but it would always come back up. Freddie would take note of her friend’s shaking and overall sickly appearance, she looked worse than she did on the Isle, but, of course CJ would insist she’s fine and that it would pass, but on the inside…she just wanted her siblings. Harriet may have scolded her for her stupid game, but she’d always help her breathe through the sickness and give her a little praise for bringing in some money, and Harry would always hold her until the shaking stopped. But in Auradon…she didn’t have her siblings…she missed them

Eventually, CJ was caught and got tossed back onto the Isle of the lost, surprisingly, her siblings embraced her (in private- no affection in public) and told her how much they missed her…she did…kinda leave without warning

“We thought you were taken! Or dead! I swear to the gods if you do something that stupid again…”

Harriet scolded as she squeezed her little sister

“I was so ready to kill someone. At least leave a note next time”

Harry said under his breath as he kissed the top of CJ’s head

Harriet and Harry did take note of CJ’s sicker appearance, it perplexed them, she was in Auradon, how did she get worse? The two decided to keep it to themselves and look after their baby sister in quiet ways- they didn’t want to make her feel worse. They’d continue to give her the good pieces of their food, Harriet started dragging CJ along with her to keep her from eating street garbage while Harry started bringing whatever leftovers he could swipe from Ursula’s fish and chips home for both his sisters, though as usual, Harriet gave her portion to CJ saying she wasn’t hungry

Descendants Headcanons/Wickedverse Guide

Some of these aren't so much "headcanons" as things I'm using in my post-canon universe, named the Wickedverse. Me and my sister share this universe, so she has a lot of influence with some of these. Will get updated as I add/change ideas.

Lore

Centuries before Auradon was formed, there was a great war between the kingdoms. After years of fighting, they made an agreement on territory and everyone closed their borders. This lead to kingdoms/cities to develop at different rates, due to different resources. Many years later, all the fairytales/stories happen over the course of seven years or so. Then, Auradon is formed.

The formation of Auradon (and the Isle) created the Age of Goodness (AOG). Upon it's creation, was year 1.

Since Descendants takes place twenty years after the AOG, it is year twenty

The first Isle book takes place in the July before Descendants. Descendants occurs in September-October (as Ben's birthday is in October), and Wicked World happens in November. The second and third Isle books take place in January of year 21. Since D2 takes place six months after D1 it occurs in March of 21. The fourth Isle book takes place in May of 22. D3, taking place after the older have graduated, occurs in June of year 22.

Some other Disney properties are included that aren't specifically mention in canon: Frozen, Frozen II, Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (TV series), Encanto, Big Hero 6, Raya, and definitely more.

Mal and Ben's wedding is on the 13th of April, almost a year after D3.

Sometime after D3, the Isle of the Lost is renamed the Isle of the Found.

Family

Uma and Freddie are twin sisters, having been separated after Dr. Facilier and Ursula broke up. Freddie and Uma were unaware of this, and found out in the events of Never Knew I Lost You (coming soon).

In addition, Celia has a different mother, an OC named Lauren.

This is also why Facilier seemed to dislike Freddie (though, her abuse portrayed in the Wickedverse is probably worse than it is in canon), as he dislikes her mother. Whereas he favored Celia, since he likes her mother. Also why Ursula didn't care much about Uma, having become despondent after losing her partner and daughter.

King Philip has three sisters, Brigitte, Bianca, and Marya, taken from the book A Twisted Tale: Once Upon a Dream by Liz Braswell. Bianca is Ariana's mother and Marya has a daughter named Naomi.

Lumiere is married to Fairy Godmother, and is Jane's father.

Evie and Dizzy have the same father, Hans, making them half-sisters.

Doug's mother, named Clarita in this universe, is from Encanto. Agustin is her maternal uncle, making him Doug's great uncle.

Jay's mother was a woman from Agrabah named Lulu. She dealt in some shady business, thus why she was sent to the Isle. She died from an illness when Jay was five.

The sea witches mentioned in the first Isle book are Morgana's daughter, and Uma's cousins, instead of sisters.

Hadie's mother is an OC named Lian Teng. She is the sister of one of the Huns that survived the avalanche. He was all she had, so she followed him to the Isle. She worked in Hades's Souvlaki and her and Hades had a brief relationship a while after his break up with Maleficent. Hadie is three years younger than Mal.

Harriet, Harry, and CJ's mother is a woman named Red Jessica from Jake and the Neverland Pirates TV series. However, she is only the same character; her role and relationship with Hook is different in the Wickedverse than the cartoon.

Carlos's father is Bruno Madrigal from Encanto (inspired by @silverloreley 's headcanon and discussions). Bruno had a bad vision about Cruella and went to warn her about it. They had an unexpected connection, and one thing led to another.

Melody (from the Little Mermaid sequel) and Zephyr (from the Hunchback of Notre Dame sequel) are married and have a (currently unamed) child.

Friendships

Prior to the events of Wicked World, and possibly D1, Jordan and Ally become best friends after Jordan helps Ally out of a bad relationship.

Jane and Freddie become best friends during the events of Wicked World.

Likewise, Uma and Audrey become best friends sometime after the events of Descendants 3.

Because of the discovery of Uma and Freddie being twins, they start spending time together. To not leave Jane and Audrey out, the four of them hang out together often, forming a friend group similar to the Core Four.

A few months before the Bal wedding, Lonnie and CJ meet and become best friends.

Characters

As a reason for why Carlos was not at Mal and Ben's wedding (and why the rest of the Core Four were sad about it), he develops COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) and goes into a coma a couple weeks before the wedding. He wakes up a few weeks afterwards.

Some last name headcanons:

Dwarf last names are from gems and the Seven Dwarves' last name is Lazuli, from lapis lazuli. This makes Doug's full name Doug Lazuli.

Maleficent and Mal's last name is Dragonheart, making Mal's full name Maleficent "Mal" Bertha Dragonheart.

Ben's last name is Leroi, meaning "the king" in French (taken from @hitchell-mope)

Evie's last name is Grimhilde, mostly taken from the fandom.

Jane's last name is Faery, and Fairy Godmother's real name is Joan.

Audrey gives up her birthright to rule Auroria, deciding that isn't the path for her. Naomi will rule Auroria instead. (Which was also what they were planning to do when they thought Audrey would be queen of Auradon).

Uma becomes leader of the Isle after D3, with Harry, Gil, and her crew acting as her advisors/council/soldiers.

OCs

Varian and Cassandra (from the Tangles series) are married and have two kids, Caelan and Valeria.

Anna and Kristoff are married and two sons, Alaric and Kade.

Raya has a son named River.

Maleficent has a younger brother named Kaveh, who comes to Auradon a few years after D3 to help stop a new threat. He previously lived in the Moorlands, the ancestral home of dark fairies and Maleficent's homeland.

Ally has a (currently unnamed) older brother.

Snow White and Prince Florian have a (currently unnamed) child.

Scar (who was turned into a human before being put on the Isle) has a daughter named Safiya.

Mirabel is married to a man named Rico and they have two kids, Anabel and Matteo. Others from Encanto also have kids, but most are currently unnamed.

Uma Triskelion

Ancestry: Triton

She's Ursula's daughter who is in fact related to Triton.

Tritons are basically Sea elfs. They have traditionally be loners and secluded. Perferring to stick to their own communities or the sea in general rather than adventuring out into the surface world. Of course this no longer applies to Ursula as she was forced out of said community and into the surface world where she had to raise her daughter.

Class: Storm Sorcerer

In a similar sense to Mal, she has inherent magic coming from her mother. While you could make a case for warlock based on the shell necklace, the use of tentacles in D2 and D3 feels closer to inherited magic.

Unfortunately with Storm sorcery, it relies more on wind and lightning rather than water. I searched and searched for something to better fit her water abilities but alas I couldn't find any.

Main Ability Score: Charisma

We see time and time again Uma effect on people whether it be her passion about VKs or the trust other port rats have in the chip shoppe being a safe enough place to store their weapons off of them.

Skill Proficiencys: History, Survival, Insight, and Intimidation

Survival is kinda a given in dealing with VKs especially the more leader types, but we also have proof in the fact that she survived on her own for several months to even years during the time skip of D2 to D3.

Insight and Intimidation go hand in hand with Uma being basically the only leader on the port with an actual will to live (cough The Hooks cough. And Sammy doesn't count on him being a Smee and a statistical anomaly due to Hook exposure.)

I firmly believe that Ursula may not have been a good mother but by God was she not going to let her daughter not know the ways of the world. She at very least would be very educated in sea politics.

Background: Fisher

Uma wouldn't be a pirate growing up. Not with Ursula's and the rest of the Tritons family history. She would have grown up knowing the sea and benefiting off of it but her decision to become a pirate is mire based on Isle politics. How does one survive without become brutal on the Isle afterall?

Feats: Inspiring Leader, Shadow Touched, Weapon Master

One would have to try very hard to argue that Uma is not an inspiring leader

Ok so, my personal belief is that Uma is also Dr. Facilier's kid. I switch back and forth on making her and Freddie twins or Freddie being a slightly younger but still full blooded sister. (It all depends on how old I want CJ.) Thus Shadow Touched.

Weapon Master allows Uma to get a Scimitar. Also firmly believe that Uma would want to know as many weapons as possible to keep up with the Hooks. So double win.

Weapons: Scimitar and Dagger

Fun Fact: A Scimitar is what Uma used in D2, like if you look at It's Going Down that is the Swords that Harry and Uma have.

A dagger is both useful for dramatic effect and for throwing when someone annoys you.

Armor: Mage Armor

While I believe that Uma would use a form of leather armor, leather can be extremely encumbering when moving in and out of water, thus Mage Armor.

Story:

Backstory: Zachary, also known as Zach, is the son of Jack Sparrow, his mother sadly died in childbirth so Jack doesn’t know who’s going to take care of his son knowing that if he take his son with him will be dangerous, so he ask his old friend Belle and his husband Adam also know as the Beast, to take care of his son while going out on adventure, he, of course, will visit once in a while. As he grows up at the age 7 he develop his superpower from his mother side of the family, his father Jack told him about his mother and her family about their powers and how they are not magic and involves more on the genetic side of the family. When he was at the age of 10, he has been excel on his P.E. class including his fencing thanks to both of his speed and agility, he even able to beat the adult even their strongest one, when Adam, Belle, and the current captain of the royal guard learn this, they decided that Zach not only will be the next captain of the royal guard, he will also be Ben personal bodyguard, and Zach has been training since then and became the vice-captain of the royal guard. Years went by as Zach attend Auradon Prep School and became the captain of the fencing team for R.O.A.R. When weeks before Ben coronation, Ben and Zach are having a conversation about the VK’s at the Isle, Ben thinks that the villian kids deserve a second chance and Zach agrees with him and made a list of villains kids that he was able to made during his stays on the Isle for a day. When Ben look at the list of vks he decided chose Jay the son of Jafar, Carlos the son of Cruella DeVil, Evie the daughter of the Evil Queen, and Mal the daughter of Maleficent. When Ben already pick his chosen vks, he wants Zach to chose a vks as well since he is his brother figure and his best friend, who always by his side and protect him, so Zach look at the list and see a certain name that he’s interesting “Harry Hook” if Zach remember he is the son of Captain James Hook interested on this pirate vk he pick him as his chosen, as well, from what he learns during his time at the Isle all of the chosen vks are in the gang so it would be a good idea for having someone they know and comfortable. Things went the same with Harry who joins them in Auradon, when they tried to steal the magic wand one of the items that Zach stole the moonstone necklace started to glow as if it’s responding to someone, and that someone is Harry Hook, who is part werewolf thanks to his mother, who is not only a former Alpha in her pack but also Zach auntie which means that Harry is his long-lost cousin. When the Core Five failed the attempts to steal the wand, the event went the same when FG suggest that Jay and Carlos to spent their energies on tourney while Harry spent his on the fencing team as well on the dancing club seeing that Harry likes to dance from time to time, after tourneys is done it was time for fencing practice, which Harry is pretty excited about it. Before practice started Zach made an announcement that since he is going to be officially become the captain of the royal guards during Ben coronations that means the position of the vice-captain is open, so he decided that the day after the tournament for the tourney are over there will be challenges for the fencing team so who could be the next vice-captain. The event is still the same in the canon when Mal asked Ben if they could be in the front seat on coronation but can’t ‘cause only him, Audrey, his parents, and the next captain and vice-captain of the royal guards, so when the Core Five learns this Mal decided to create a love potion to make Ben fell in love with her and have Harry to train for the challenges knowing that Mal has faith on Harry to win the spot. The rest is still the same after the tournaments, and now is the challenges the position of for the next vice-captain, in the end, Harry was able to won thanks to his werewolf ability without him knowing that he’s using it, but during that time is whene the necklace glow brightly at Harry when he using his power, of course, Zach notice this but decide to kept this to himself for now and will tell Harry his heritage after the celebration, so for now, he joins with the others and congratulate his cousin for winning. During Ben and Mal dating, Zach invite Harry on dance practice on his favorite place to dance where no one could hear or sees them. After having a little fun on their dance battle, Zach told Harry about his power and heritage, and gives him the moonstone necklace, as the necklace reacts to him and suddenly he feels all of his senses are in a whole different levels, and his canine teeth grew longer and sharper, proving that Harry is a werewolf. When Harry came back to his dorm and tell his fellow vk friends about this they couldn’t believe this and thought that his power could be useful when they’re going to steal the wand even though his full power could only work on the full moon his enchanted sense and strength could still be useful. The rest of the event are still the same in the canon in Descendants 1, as well in Descendants 2 & 3, well, except that in the final battle against Uma and Audrey that Harry joins the fight with Mal with his werewolf form, and after Descendants 2, Zach found Uma during his stroll on the beach when she see her and even though after what she did, he thought about her action and he understand her why she did it because not only her and the Wharf Rats but the entire kids on the isle wants to be free from the well as well, including the villains that wants to redeem for their actions and wants the second chances as well, so he decide to helps her hiding from the people of Auradon and secretly gives her food that he was able to steal from the kitchen and the cafeteria without everyone notice and during their with each other develop a feeling and fell in love after Descendants 3.

Current Life: He and Harry continue their life in Auradon as captain and vice-captain of the royal guards, and Zach help Harry his new found werewolf packs that he discover after the events of Audrey, and learn that werewolf are not the only monster, there is also zombies, alien, vampire, and etc, and like the children of Isle they want to help all the monsters to live peacefully not just in Auradon but the entire kingdoms as well.

I hope you all like my Descendants oc, in this Au Harry is in Mal’s gang instead with Uma because I really love Harry!! And not only that he is also part werewolf thanks to his mother side the only reason he wasn’t able to transform because of the barrier and he needs a moonstone necklace (like the one in ZOMBIES), as for who replacing Harry as Uma’s First Mate will be David Jones the son of Davy Jones.

This is gotta be the longest story that I write, I hope you all like the story ‘cause again, I suck at making a plot, so I let you guys tried to imagining it.

The Isle of the Lost is Neverland: the damned children of Neverland

"Lost" and "damned" have exactly one (1) letter difference in my language which makes the title infinitely cooler so take that into consideration, please.

Anyway.

The lost and damned children of Neverland.

Harriet Hook is Neverland, or its shadow. She is reflection of what it should be: You can see it in the way she has taken to babysitting the Isle kids, in the way she protects the little bits of childhood and innocence they have left.

The oldest daughter of Captain James Hook is at her very core Neverland.

And for her, it means cold anger, flaming glares and hands tinted red, leaving traces everywhere she touches, on cheeks of the little ones she attempts to comfort. She doesn't care what happens to her, not really. She is Neverland, and Neverland is dead.

Calista Jane Hook is the youngest child: when she was born, Neverland has already twisted so much it is not recognizable anymore. CJ is Isle of the Lost. She wants treasures and adventures and revenge and cares very little for the consequences.

She laughs in the face of danger, and she laughs because there is nothing else left to do. She can't be sad if she smiles, can she? And the sound itself is a proof of her existence.

She is cruel, but so is the world around her. She is mad, but so is her family.

She decides to set the world ablaze, to shine light at its mistakes carefully tucked into the shadows, and no one will stop her. She is destruction and chaos, she is what is left of dreams of childhood.

She is nightmare.

Harry Hook is neither Neverland nor the Isle of the Lost and at the same time, he is both of them, always teared apart, always catched in the middle of the change. He is left stumbling in the confusing twists of fate, where everything is real and fake at once.

He grasps at everything solid in his life and he refuses to let go. (Harriet. His hook. Uma.)

They're still lost, still boys, enough has been said about them.

And if Harriet is Neverland's shadow, they are it's afterlight. You know, when you look into the light for too long and then close your eyes? You see this bright spot on your eyelids, and even if the light has gone away since, its afterlight remains. That's them.

The Lost Boys still run through the Isle of the Lost through Neverland, just as they always did, and they just want to play.

“What are you doing up?” Uma looks up from her dinner to see Harry slide onto the bench next to her. “I could have brought you something.”

“Got bored of staying in my room” Harry says before he takes a spoonful of the stew, sighing in content as the warmth travels down his throat.

“How are you feeling?” she asks him, thinking back to when she’d last seen him walking back off to bed.

The night before he’d mentioned having a sore throat in passing but it was clear that he hadn’t thought much of it. When he’d come up to the deck that morning, he seemed a little off but had set to work nonetheless. It wasn’t until Uma asked him over to see how progress was going that he’d admitted that it was slow since he couldn’t concentrate, and had reluctantly asked for the day off. She hadn’t hesitated in agreeing, seeing how run down he was beginning to look and knowing that it pained him just to ask. Him not even meeting her eyes.

“Better. Think I just needed more sleep.”

“Not surprised. Your job’s really tiring” Uma admits. She was used to long hours at the Chip Shop, but not so much the physically taxing work like Harry did around the ship. A full day of moving about the Isle gathering resources, checking the functioning of the ship, and not to mention constant questions from crewmates which left her mentally drained, ended with tired lines under her eyes and her posture slumped over the table. “I’m sorry if I overworked you.”

“Nah” Harry dismisses and Uma can’t help but notice his voice sounding a little rough. “Would have picked it up from CJ the other week.”

“That’ll teach you for going home when you have a perfectly good ship to stay on.”

“Not my fault dad did another disappearing act and left her all alone.”

“Yeah, I know” Uma says. “Was just messing with you.”

“How’re the new recruits?” Harry changes the subject.

“They’re alright I think, settled in quite nicely” she tells him, looking over at them mingling with the rest of the crew. “Didn’t get round to restringing that sail, though.”

“I’ll do it tomorrow” Harry volunteers.

“You gonna feel up to working?”

“Mhmm” Harry nods his head adamantly. “Today was just an off day.”

“Fair enough. You don’t take days off often.”

“Cause they’re boring. I hate doing nothing.”

“I know you do. But you needed the rest” she says. “Just let me know if you don’t feel up to it.”

“Nah, I’ll be fine, it’s an easy job” Harry assures her before he eats some more. “I do it better than you anyway.”

“Shut up” Uma hits him on the arm. “You’ve only had years more practice than I have.”

Harry chuckles a little before they turn into a few coughs that he covers behind his fist. Uma narrows her eyes at him, but he carries on eating like nothing happened, so she leaves it alone.

“Found out one of the new recruits – can’t remember their name - has a brother in Harriet’s crew” Uma tells him, looking over at a small group of them.

“That’s Serena” Harry says following her gaze. “Her dad is in my dad’s crew as well.”

Uma furrows her brow, turning back to the table. “That’s kind of weird to be honest.”

“Is it?” Harry questions. “Makes sense to me.”

Uma flicks him a quick look like he’s lost his mind before taking another spoonful of her dinner.

“If you think about it, her dad’s in my dad’s crew which means that Harriet would have grown up bossing her brother around, so it’s no wonder he joined her crew” Harry points out. “And Serena would have joined ours because who wants to be a in crew with their sibling?”

“Well, I wouldn’t know, but I’ll take your word for it” Uma admits. “What would be really freaky is if they have another sibling who’d join up with CJ, if she ever wanted to hang out with anyone.”

Harry smiles, “don’t worry about that, it’s only the two of them.”

Gradually the mess hall empties, crew members leaving their tables to carry out their rounds or finish the last of their chores, before having some much earned down time. Eventually Harry and Uma are left sitting alone at their table.

“Do you think we should go on another adventure?” Uma breaks the silence that had fallen on the room.

“Where’s this coming from?” Harry asks somewhat surprised, though he’s not opposed to the idea.

“I don’t know” Uma admits, “I just want to get off this rock for a bit.”

Harry hums in agreement, letting Uma continue.

“The ship’s back in sailing condition and there are other islands under the barrier. Just think it would be fun to take the crew somewhere. Let them use the sailing knowledge” – Uma stops talking when Harry holds up a finger to stop her.

“One sec” he says heavily, leaning forward over the table. He sniffs before pressing his wrist under his nose, resting his elbow on the table. “Ih’dtschhh, Ih’ktsdchh… Heh’ddtschhu...Uh’dchewhh” his shoulders hunch as he sneezes.

He groans and sniffles thickly. Keeping his nose pressed against his wrist, his other hand reaches into his pocket to pull out a handkerchief. Replacing his wrist with the handkerchief, he blows his nose the tips of his ears going red in embarrassment. While he sorts himself out Uma reaches the backs of her fingers to his forehead, feeling for fever. She sighs in relief, thankful to find none.

“You’re going back to bed” she says as she withdraws her hand.

“Can I not sneeze a few times?” Harry’s voice still slightly congested and he sniffles again.

“No” she dismisses. “I’m tired and you still sound miserable.”

Harry groans again, but follows her lead as she gets up from the bench and leads the way to her quarters.

“Where would you want to go?” Harry asks Uma as they step into her room.

“Don’t know, don’t care. I’d be happy to go to a sandbank for a bit” she tells him as she lifts the covers off her bed, inviting him in first.

“Even the Isle of the Doomed?” Harry brings up as he settles down on the mattress, Uma following after him.

“Apart from the Isle of the Doomed” she quickly corrects. “We all know how badly that went last time.”

“We got the pieces of the necklace, didn’t we?” Harry points out, his arms slinking around Uma’s waist.

“And almost died in the process” Uma dismisses, pulling her blankets up over both of them before taking hold of Harry’s hands.

“Death is just an adventure isn’t it?”

“Death is the final adventure. I’d rather have more of them first” Uma tells him.

“Then where would you like to go?”

“I don’t know” Uma groans, “I’m too tired to think.”

“The sandbank it is then. When” – Harry’s voice cuts off and Uma feels his chest expand against her back. The warmth of his lips presses into her shoulder as he muffles a few coughs behind them.

‘’m sorry” he moans and sniffles next to her ear.

Uma feels a rush of temptation that she’s in such close proximity to him when he’s at his most vulnerable, but she pushes it back. “You’re good, Harry” she says squeezing his hands. It’s not his fault she’s holding them captive.

oh boy, what a question. and it’s the kind of question that has been causing me grief since i set up this blog. hook, in general, has a very negative opinion on children. he simply doesn’t like them. especially boys, after all his trouble with boys, it’s easy to see why. on the other hand, as a pirate it’s easy to be superstitious when it comes to girls too. women aren’t meant to be brought on board a pirate ship. so while, in theory, he prefers his daughters over his son he’s also of the opinion that their place isn’t on the ship but on the shore.

this leads to some interesting problems. because harry has been nothing but a thorn in his side. he had been genuinely excited once at the prospect of having someone to train and raise in his image, raise to be a captain etcetera etcetera.

except, point one, he hates male children. and point two, harry is hardly the ideal. for hook there are a few important aspects he’d want in his children. a quick wit, a classical education, a propensity for the family trade, obedience and good form. and harry doesn’t seem to have any concept of the latter two (and depending on headcanons, often not the education aspect either, though i would say hook is the kind of person to push his children to learning, as someone who attended one of the most prestigious colleges in england).

despite hook’s anger issues and his inclination towards violence he does like to focus on having good form, he’s a classic gentleman and he holds himself as such and he holds his children to the same standards. harry’s lack of good form and unwillingness to listen to hook in all things makes him an unsuitable heir. add to that his relationship with uma and you have a recipe for hook in a bad mood. harry chooses to follow around someone smaller than him, someone who, by all accounts, is significantly weaker. but the kicker is that harry is choosing to follow anyone around at all. sidekicks are useless is a lesson he has long since drummed into his children. you can’t count on anyone but yourself. and then harry goes and contents himself with being first mate on a ship run by a woman who isn’t even of a pirate lineage and it’s pretty much an affront.

adding to this the canon of harry having been working for hook in his shop and stealing from the register, hook has essentially disowned harry. he doesn’t care for him, probably never will. to add insult to injury harry looks like hook himself, his eyes and hair a constant reminder of a youthful james hook. and he carries his father’s anger issues with him too. harry reminds hook far too much of himself to be comfortable with. and it’s all the bad bits, with none of the good. if hook sees himself as having any redeemable features, he can find none of them in harry.

on the opposite end of the spectrum, harriet is perfect at pretty much all of the things he wants in a child. she’s strong willed, self sufficient, a born leader. she seems to understand the concept of good form and- at least while she’s young- of behaving in hook’s presence. on top of this, she’s spent her entire life doing him the fantastic service of keeping his other children out of his line of sight unless he wants to see them.

harriet would be the perfect heir, if not for the one small issue of having been born a girl. and as previously mentioned, sailors and pirates have an antiquated view of women even stepping on board a ship, never mind captaining one. so harriet is somewhat relegated even in hook’s mind to the role of ‘primary caregiver’ and not much else. he sees her talent for leading, for swordsmanship, for piracy and there is some part of him that is proud of what she’s accomplished because it’s what he’d want for his children. for them to have their own ships and crew. for them to have a life of their own, worthy of the name of hook.

so while he doesn’t particularly like any of his children on a normal day, harriet is probably the favourite growing up, at least until she starts being confident enough to talk back. to throw his life back in his face. to stand up for her siblings. and while he’s still relatively pleased with the ferocity of her anger, he doesn’t want it turned on him. i wouldn’t go so far as to say he loves her, but he does internally acknowledge that her actions can bring something other than shame to the hook name where his other two children are failing miserably.

calista jane, being the youngest, is something of a sore subject. he didn’t really raise her, harriet did most of that. canonically, though, he shared with her stories of his exploits and tales of adventure. and she wants that too. which would be admirable as a goal, but once again he is lumbered with a child who doesn’t fit into his idea of what a good heir should be. cj is loud, she’s confident, she deliberately causes a ruckus wherever she goes and always leaves some kind of mess in her wake. she barely seems to care for anyone or anything but herself and her wants, and though it’s clear she got that from her father there’s something about her that strikes him as being closer to his worst enemy than she is to him.

she’s brash, mischievous, self-centred, adventurous and loves to swing around in the rigging as if she could fly. she’s a leader who won’t take no for an answer, who always places herself in charge no matter what. and when hook sees her acting like this, it’s as if the very ghost of pan has come back to haunt him. she’s the worst parts of his history following him even onto the isle of the lost- and he cannot escape her. she might outwardly want to be more like her father, but he already knows what she is, who she is. this keeps him on edge around her, more than anything.

hook does not hate his children, though they reflect parts of him and his past that he does not care to be reminded of. he doesn’t like them either. they are a constant reminder of his own weaknesses, his own frail humanity, and the constant passage of time outside of neverland. but they are still his children. they represent his name, his legacy- and he will do anything he can to protect that legacy. from stringing up people who hurt them to trying to bring them back in line when they’re out of it. hook will always want what’s best for himself, and in some instances that means aligning himself with his children. he remains forever trapped between wishing they had stayed at an age where they didn’t argue with him, and wishing they’d grow faster so that he no longer has to see them anymore.

when things are good he is capable of being good. he will teach them how to play piano, he will read passages of literature, show them how to use a sword or tie a knot. he is capable of it. but when things are bad, when he looks at them and sees nothing but the demons of his past coming back to haunt him, then is capable of true anger and blinding hatred- not aimed at them, but at himself. he just cannot see the difference. this is where they experience violence by his hand (or hook) and heated words. and the longer he spends trapped on the isle, the deeper he spirals into his own head and the more his children appear like haunting demons instead of human beings he helped create and shape. the closer he gets to hating them for existing.

I actually looked for many options, but none satisfied me. First, I wanted someone close in age to Sierra McClain (perfect for Ginny Gothel). And I wanted someone strong. Not just a tough girl. But visibly strong and beautiful (thanks to @pigtailsandwrestlingboots for the information):

So, I wanted someone with a strong back and shoulders, with really sharp features. Someone who makes you feel safe. Because Harriet is someone you want to follow. If you fall in love with her it's for being this incredible leader capable of defeating a crocodile with her own hands. Harriet is beautiful, of course. But her strength is her most remarkable characteristic. You seriously want her to corner you against the wall. Or to kiss you in the rain like it's the end of the world. So, I ended using Halsey hehe

About HC:

Harriet is aware of the love she has for other people. This is why she forces herself to be so strong. She hides her love behind protection.

Harriet is one of the first descendants of the island.

She is the protector of her family. Being on the island was very hard for Captain Hook, who had dedicated his life to capturing Peter Pan and before that to sailing. It doesn't do anyone any good to have their life purpose taken away. But Peter Pan tormented Captain Hook too much for too many years and Pan broke him. And Harriet knows that her father is a time bomb. He has good days and there are usually many. But on bad days few people can handle him. Captain Hook can be really dangerous. Harriet grew up fast to protect her siblings and give them a purpose, a distraction.

She knows that everything depends on the reputation. So Harriet knows how to control her expressions perfectly.

Harriet is an introvert. She's not antisocial. But she prefers to avoid crowds. Harriet is mentally exhausted when she is with many people. But hardly anyone knows that.

Harriet is a swordmaster. A professional duelist. And she is very good at throwing knives.

For a long time, Harriet was worried about Harry's future. She believed that he would not survive for many years. Her brother was always reckless. CJ is impulsive and daring, but Harry was another level. The worst part was watching the other kids his age follow Harry on every dangerous adventure. But fortunately, Uma came into their lives. And Harriet didn't have to worry anymore.

"They're under Harriet protection" & "They're Harriet's ally" are the equivalent of VIP cards at the port.

Usually, her relationships last for a short time because Harriet quickly realizes that she cannot trust her feelings to her partner.

Being Harriet's tail was the way some descendants lived their childhood. The way most people remember that time is by following Harriet on the Jolly Roger listening to her give orders. And Harriet presenting them with some nickname taken from some animal.

CJ's self-centeredness is partially her fault. Harriet used to tell her sister how amazing, beautiful, and wonderful she was. Harriet wanted her sister to never doubt herself. But Harriet overstepped. But she's not sorry for it.

She has killed people. Harriet knows what a bad hit can mean. Harriet knows how fragile the human body is. What a push and a bad fall mean. Harriet knows how in the heat of the moment a "die" can be the final sentence. You don't have to think about it. Death just happens.

She has a platonic crush on Uma. Nothing sexual. But it is more than admiration. If at some point Harriet had feelings for Uma, that died the second she noticed that Harry was hopeless. But only Harriet can tell Uma "lady of the sea". That is her nickname and no one else can use it. Not even her brother.

Harriet doesn't know, but the way she moves when she's in a fight is incredibly attractive. There is something very dominant in her. She was that effect in the people. You want to be destroyed by her. Also, when Harriet participates in sword duels, it's as if she is a hurricane. She takes your breath away.

Harriet is so used to taking care of her siblings, that she unconsciously does the same with the rest of the descendants of the port.

Harriet doesn't like blind devotion. She likes others to fight her. People with character are her favorite.

Part of the port's fishing is always for Uma. Especially since Harriet knows that Uma feeds people who can't pay.

Very few people understand her sense of humor. People usually take her very seriously. But you can tell that she's joking because of the little smile in her lips.

Freddie Facilier is like her younger sister. Maybe Freddie can't control CJ like Uma controls Harry, but Freddie definitely makes CJ happy. And it's so rare on the island to hear people laugh and play in addition to planning and fighting.

Harriet likes art. She enjoys a good book and shows. She is one of the few people who has heard Freddie sing. Harriet enjoys listening to Harry when he plays the piano and Uma plays the violin. She really loves paintings.

Harriet had half of the Jolly Roger's crew being read the tarot by Freddie so she can practice.

She has a collection of goblets and chalices.

When Mal and Mad Maddy pranked Uma with the rotten shrimp, Harriet denied them access to the port.

When she found out that each of her siblings kidnapped Ben, Harriet found it the funniest thing in the world. Now, she wants to kidnap Ben. So every Hook sibling has done it once.

Harriet is afraid of going crazy. And she believes that her self-destructive thoughts are a sign of insanity. But in reality, it's all the demand and hard work that she imposes on herself.

She loves spicy food.

Harriet is very proud of her siblings.

She suffers from insomnia. Ginny Gothel usually makes her a special infusion to help her sleep.

Harriet needs to protect her crew, her siblings, her family. All of them. But Harriet feels that she isn't doing enough. That she could do more. That she could be better in protecting her siblings. They shouldn't have to risk so much. Is she failing them? Is she not being strong enough?

Harriet is a lesbian and has had many girlfriends. She's not polyamorous. And she is quite jealous. Non-controlling. But do you remember her self-destructive thoughts? They can suffocate her in her relationships.

She needs to be so in control of the entire situation that even her emotions need to wait. When Harriet is angry, she relaxes by training and fighting. She doesn't stop until her legs collapse, her knuckles are bleeding, and she has trouble breathing. Harriet doesn't allow herself to express her feelings freely. Everything must be in controlled environments.

Harriet likes crocodiles because they don't have mercy.

In love: Harriet needs someone that can silent her thoughts and make her feel safe. In her dominant ways and in her broken self. Harriet needs someone who trusts her and also can stop her.

She doesn't like sweets.

Hook and Pan

Harry Hook x Reader

(Y/N) Pan is the daughter of the boy that wanted to never grow up, Peter Pan. In the end, despite all of his efforts to remain a kid forever he ended up being a father. But the idea of such a big responsibility scared him so he left (Y/N) after she was born. But the young (H/C) haired girl visited Neverland in her dreams. Her father would tell her stories about the fairies, mermaids that lived in Neverland and about the gruesome pirate that was his enemy, Captain Hook.

Now, (Y/N) was no longer a little girl. Pan grew up (ironically) and made friends at Auradon.

When four villain kids came to the school she didn't heistate to meet and befriend them. After all she saw them as people she could share her shenanigans with. (Y/N) tried to show her prankster, childish, adventurous self to others but telling Audrey her plans of pranking some students got her suspended for a few days. The VKs laughed at (Y/N)s crazy ideas and suggestions and got along with her swimmingly.

While (Y/N) got along with Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay, she didn't join in their trips to the Isle. Unfortunately, while it did seem like a fun adventure she decided to watch from afar to see how it was going to turn out.

Now, she wasn't shy or scared. (Y/N) knew how to put up a fight and how to run away in dangerous places full of obstacles. She didn't fear anyone on the island but she didn't find it necessary to join them. It wasn't her problem and she saw it as something they had to settle themselves.

After the barrier has been broken down, any villain kid that wanted it had a chance to a normal life at Auradon. A ton of VKs wanted that so Ben organized them in 4 person groups. Each group had assigned an Auradon Kid to show them around. (Y/N) being an enthusiastic girl was selected to be one of the guides.

'I wonder who I got~' she thought waiting for the limo door to open. Ben told her he choose them specially for her.

First, a beautiful girl with blue hair that she recognized as Uma, came out. (Y/N) didn't do any research, not needed since all Auradon kids knew who she was at this point. She was surprised Uma wasn't assigned to Mal seeing as the two were friends.

After Uma, the son of Gaston followed. Gil wasn't as known but since (Y/N) has spent time with Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos she heard all about how they teamed up with Uma and her squad. Gil looked enthusiastic, even if he'd already been here.

The last persons to get out were the infamous Harry Hook, a quite gorgeous guy with the most piratey attire you've seen, and seemingly his sister CJ, since the two looked alike, who he was bickering with. These were the kids of her fathers enemy but the moment she saw them, a big grin made its way on her face. (Y/N)s mind was full of ideas warying from befriending them to making their lives miserable through pranks to just being aquantiences with them.

"Welcome to Auradon! The name's (Y/N) Pan and I will be your guide. No need for introductions since I figured out who y'all are~" (Y/N) announced with a smirk and shook their hands.

Uma raised an eyebrow but shook her hand, Gil smiled and said his "Nice to meet you!!", CJ shook her hand with heistation and Harry. . . Harry just returned the smirk.

"So ye know who my father is las?" He asked.

"Yep, and you know who mine is" (Y/N) flashed a grin. "Now onto the tour-"

The tour itself was supposed to be filled with information about the history of the castle but (Y/N) decided to just show them around while making sarcastic remarks and stupid puns that seemed entertaining enough. She got giggles, laughs and smiles from the four. Harry being himself shamelessly flirted to get an embarrassed or flustered reaction out of (Y/N) but what he got back was (Y/N) aCtually playing along and sometimes even responding with her own dumb pick up line, making other crack up at Hooks pink face (he didn't really expect her playin along--)

"Alright, if y'all have got any more questions, feel free to ask me" (Y/N) said at the end.

A couple of sures and nods. While everyone left to their dorms, she felt her arm getting grabbed. Next thing she knew, she was pinned to a wall by Harry.

"hEy calm your thirsty ass and ask me on a date first. I know you want me but I'm not THAT iresistibble" (Y/N) jocked while winking.

And there she goes again, making him a flustered mess. He quickly composed himself

"Pfft yer quite somethin. Can we hang out some time?" Harry asked with a smirk. While he just met her and she was supposedly his enemy he just felt the urge to befriend her.

"Sure thing fishy"

*two months later*

"So you flirt with everyone just to intimidate them? Ugh man I was so hopeful I could be able to see some boy on boy action. Seeing the way you act around Ben I could've sworn you were gay-" (Y/N) rambled, trying to tease/annoy her best friend and crush.

"I ain't gay, give it up lassie" Harry responded looking straight into (Y/N)s (E/C) eyes. "I am pansexual though" he smirked.

"*exaggerated gasp* i knEW YOu were into me!!" (Y/N) smirked.

"I'm not denyin' that" Harry responded jockingly.

For the first time, (Y/N) was seen with a blush that she quickly dismissed and blamed on the sun.

"(Y/N) wer' in a dorm room" Harry said with an amused tone.

"Wait hol' up I meant the heat, not the sun-"

"It's autumn lassie"

"Yeah but it's still warm"

"Whateva' lost girl, I'll let ya have this one. Thou' you look adorable when you're blushin'"

While all of the flirting between them was always jockingly, Harry couldn't help but feel as if there was something more than that. (Y/N) complimented him, helped him when he felt down, stayed with him late at night making dumb jokes and puns,

They shared secrets and used each other as support when things got bad, and yes, friends do that.

But friends don't get lost into each others eyes, don't hold each others hands when they're alone, friends don't hug for whole minutes and friends don't constantly flirt with each other, even if it's jockingly.

Harrys train of thoughts was interrupted by something soft against his lips. He felt his whole face get warmer . . .

Because his was face being covered by a pillow.

"Dude you ok? You kinda spaced out-" (Y/N) began saying.

"I'm fine, don' worry love"

Love. That nickname. Even though (Y/N) didn't show it, it made her feel very flustered but she kept that under her joker facade. The names Harry called her, the way he treated her. . Maybe he saw her as more than a friend too.

For the character thing: Jane! I really need to do more stuff with/for her, but I think she’s adorable!

She IS adorable!!

OTP for them: I don’t really have one, but I guess her and CJ with our personal head-canon stuff. We need to talk about them more!!

BROTP for them: Carlos, I guess? I don’t ship them romantically, but they’re probably good friends otherwise.

Other ships: Her and Ben are cute, and the way the manga portrays their interactions makes me appreciate the potential gayness of her and Mal.

What kind of fic I’d write about them: I’m not really sure. Pirate adventure with CJ?

A favorite canon moment: The part with her spraying Ben with the enchanted lake water was pretty funny!!

I have a couple of Descendants fics that I’ve written/am currently writing if any of you want to check them out. Note: I am not claiming that they’re good, they just exist. Also, they’re all on a site called Quotev which I don’t hear people talk about very often but if enough people are interested, I might put them on AO3/fanfic.net too.

And I think they all include musical numbers and all of the canon ships (Bal, Devie, Janlos, and Huma which is canon don’t fight me) which I know is a very dividing thing in the fandom but I did it anyways.

First up is Poison to the Core, which was written to a sequel to the original Descendants that takes place two years after the first movie. The events of D2 and D3 didn’t happen in this, since I wrote it about a month after D1 was released. It revolves around the next five VKs chosen to come to Auradon: Jaime, the daughter of Captain Hook, Sally, the daughter of Ursula, Hart, the son of the Queen of Hearts, Haddie, the daughter of Hades, and Gavin, the son of Gaston (the names are horrible leave me alone) and they go on a similar journey to goodness as the core four. Jaime is the main character, and lived in Neverland with her mother and father for 11 years up until her mom got pregnant with her younger sister, then after complications with the birth, her mom died and the rest of them got sent to the Isle. Jaime learns some interesting things about her heritage and how everything is not what it seems, and there’s also a love plot because this is Descendants and daughter of Hook vs daughter of Peter Pan conflict because it’s Descendants and there pretty much has to be. There’s a sequel to Poison to the Core called Good is the New Bad where a lot more VKs are invited over to Auradon Prep and mayhem ensues as they plot to bring down Auradon. The main antagonists are all of Hans and Anastasia’s kids (because Lady Tremaine wanted her daughter to snag a prince). There’s also a Jaime having a mental breakdown, Elsa’s daughter figure skating, and a battle of the bands subplot. I recently started The Right Side of Wrong, which I refer to as Hook Kids in my head because guess what, Jaime got another story due to the fact that I love her. This takes place concurrently with the events of Descendants 2, with Jaime as the younger sister of Harriet, Harry, and CJ. She’s the leader of a crew that includes her four friends from Poison to the Core, but this time they’re related to Uma, Gil, and Mal. This one is finally not about Jaime, but still takes place in Descendants 2. The daughter of Lumiere and Plumette is Ben’s best friend since childhood and advisor with all of his royal responsibilities. She follows Ben, Evie, Jay, and Carlos to get Mal to return to Auradon. When Ben is kidnapped, she goes undercover as a VK to get intel they can use to get him back safely, and maybe she falls for Gil in the process. It also goes a lot into Gil’s backstory and the Uma vs Mal rivalry which were two things that were really fun for me to explore. This might be my favorite thing I’ve written so far? Another self indulgent fanfic I’ve started with a kinda cheesy premise is Beauty and the Thief (feel free to cringe). Ben’s twin sister Rosaline is older than him by a few minutes, and set to take the throne of the United States of Auradon in a few months. For her first proclamation, she invites over four teenagers from the Isle of the Lost, but this time, Jafar is the most powerful villain, not Maleficent. Because let’s be real, a grand vizier, sorcerer, and all powerful genie with political ambitions is likely more powerful than a woman who cursed a baby because she didn’t get invited to the party. Fight me on it (but not literally I’m both emotionally and physically fragile). Rosaline is dating Chad at the start of the fic, and he’s an even bigger jerk than he was in the movies and I love hating him in this. There’s also other original characters that are the kids of Cinderella and Prince Charming, Snow White and Florian, Aladdin and Jasmine, and Roger and Anita, and a girls’ night truth or dare scene that honestly I might just post on here because Lonnie dare’s are *chef’s kiss*. Finally, there’s a book of what was supposed to be a series of oneshots with Descendants ships/characters with plots inspired by songs off of Taylor Swift’s album Lover but so far it’s just Huma inspired by Cornelia Street. It’s also 20 pages long. Oops? It takes place post D3 with them trying to navigate this new stage in their relationship/actually admitting that they have feelings for each other in the midst of trying to find their footing in Auradon. Gil also makes many appearances after returning from adventures with Jay (and he might become dog dad Gil who knows) and honestly I’m really happy with how this turned out, and I’m eventually going to write more with the other 17 songs on the album but that hasn’t happened yet. HARRY HOOK of ISLE OF THE LOST

( HE ) is new to ( STORYBROOKE ) and is the child of ( CAPTAIN HOOK / MILAH ). ( HE ) is forever stuck at ( 19 ) years of age and is said to look like ( THOMAS DOHERTY ) . ( HE ) is ( POWERLESS ), but ( ARROGANT, COMPULSIVE, RUTHLESS ). However, ( HE ) is ( LOYAL, DETERMINED, ADVENTUROUS ).

BIOGRAPHY

Being the middle of child would make anyone crazy, and perhaps that’s exactly why Harry is the way he is. Born to Captain Hook and Milah on the Isle of the Lost, he was probably the one person who didn’t get nearly enough attention. The only boy in his family, most expected him to have his father’s love, but that wasn’t entirely true. Truth be told, Harriet and CJ have always been the two most loved and as much as Harry would like to admit he’s fine with it, there’s a part of him that wishes things had been… different.

Not much is known about his childhood, other than the fact things were harder on him. His father wanted him to captain his own crew. Captain Hook taught him, trained him, and pressured him into doing everything bad and somehow Harry still managed to slip up. When Hook decided his son was a lost cause, his attention turned to his oldest child, Harriet. Harry may have been his initial pick, but Harriet had the determination to make things work in her favor.

Soon after that, CJ was born. Putting Harry in a position he never wanted in the first place. Whoever told you middle child syndrome wasn’t a thing, clearly has never been the middle child. His new baby sister got the attention from his mother and after a while, Harry’s personality shifted from a happy child to something more dark in nature. After a while, he faced a minor obsession with making his father proud -- even going as far as stealing one of his hooks -- which he holds as often as he can. When questioned about his hook, Harry has given some bizarre answers, one of them being if my hand could be bitten off by a crocodile, too, it would be for the best. He may not have ever been made a captain, but he did become the first mate of Um’a ship.

When Mal was sent to Auradon, Harry grew angry and resentful, but mostly because UMA felt that way. Making friends with Ursula’s daughter came at a dark time in his life and he’d never replace her. In a way, Harry feels like he met her at an important time in his life where both of them felt misplaced by those they wanted to impress. Harry, with his father. Uma, with her mother. Meeting GIL happened to be the next best part of his life. Eventually, the three of them went on to be known as the SEA THREE, with Uma taking over Mal’s spot the moment she got picked to go to Auradon for their villain rehabilitation program.

As time progressed, Harry distanced himself further from his siblings and his parents. By the time the barrier came down for good, Harry had already tasted the power of being good and he couldn’t say he was too much of a fan. He’s only known how to be evil and that’s exactly what he preferred to be as long as it meant having Gil and Uma at his side.

When Hades’ spell fell across Auradon, he didn’t fight the fog that followed. He has no idea where the hell he is now, but it has to be better than Boreadon. Now in a place unknown to him, he does blame MAL and BEN for not having protecting them like they claimed they would.

CONNECTIONS

THE SEA THREE: UMA, GIL, HARRY. On the ISLE OF THE LOST, they were known as the Sea Three. Harry’s loyalty knows no limits when it comes to Uma and Gil. They’re his best friends and they have been through a lot together. This new world is something else they’ll get through together.

MILAH: Unknown to most, MILAH has always been connected to an alternate universe. For Harry, he only knows her as his mother, but she’s always been much more. The mother to BAELFIRE and the former wife of THE DARK ONE, Milah was killed, resurrected, and forced to spend the rest of her life on the ISLE OF THE LOST due to her past. She just happened to fall in love and have three children with the man she never got her happy ending with in the other world. Milah has always been there for Harry, though she’s always treated him a little different. Harry doesn’t know her connection to the STORYBROOKE characters, and hell, part of him probably wouldn’t even care.

KILLIAN JONES: This man looks just like his father, but rumor has it -- they’re not even connected. Harry isn’t entirely sure how that’s possible, but he can admit one thing. He’s got his eye on him. Harry saw him arrive on a pirate ship, but it’s not the ship he’s familiar with, either. It’s different. A different color. A different structure. Everything is so... different.

THE CORE FOUR: MAL. CARLOS. JAY. EVIE. For Harry, being stuck in this town is all their fault in his eyes. He’s always held some sort of resentment towards MAL because she got to leave the Isle first. Sure, they may have made up temporarily -- but all good things come to an end. He doesn’t trust them. Mal and Ben were supposed to protect them and clearly, they haven’t done a good job.

SKILLS

FENCING: Born a pirate, Harry is a skilled sword fighter. He has been using swords since before he could walk, which gives him an advantage in most fights.

SAILING: He has a vast knowledge of navigation, probably stemming from his father's lessons. Although he is not a Captain, he seems to have more knowledge about a ship than Uma.

INTIMIDATION: Since he has no magical abilities, Harry has found other ways of being intimidating. On the ISLE OF THE LOST, he was Uma’s muscle. If someone owed a debt to Uma, Harry was sent to retrieve it.
