The Horned King v Turbo/King Candy
Propaganda:
The Horned King:
"He's an undead skeleton raising an army of undead skeletons AND he has a terrible temper. He's terrifying in every scene he's in!"
This movie bombed because it was scary. Because even Disney couldn't lighten this villain up.
Turbo/King Candy:
"He's not the first twist villain, but he is THE twist villain - carefully built up with references throughout the film, referred to in hushed, almost superstitious tones, and then revealed as a manipulative madman glossing himself over with a thin candy-shell of care and concern. And all this is BEFORE he tries to bludgeon a child on a speeding go-kart and BEFORE he morphs into the nightmare Candybug still intent on killing Ralph and this one child and happy to see yet another world destroyed so long as he gets his way and is preserved himself! He's scary and HUGELY entertain, and deserves to be King here too!"

Danny Murillo (Hollywood Undead)
DANNY
It was always stressful preparing for a tour, especially one that took us away from friends and family for months. y/n was my best friend, having introduced me to my wife years ago, but they were going through a tough breakup and I’d been there every step of the way helping them rebuild their life here in LA.
I wanted to do something nice for y/n before leaving, and after scrolling through old and somewhat cringy photos from our childhood I decided on the perfect friendship date. We were going bowling, both being competitive and never failing to laugh at each other.
y/n meets me at the bowling alley and we head inside to get our shoes and lane.
‘I can’t remember the last time I went bowling Danny,’ y/n says nervously, tying their shoes.
‘Well, we are here to have fun. I hate leaving you to go on tour,’ I reply.
y/n smiles at me, their smile able to light up a room which made it hard to believe someone could be so cruel to them, ‘you have to tour Danny I’m not that selfish. But I can beat you before you go.’
I gasp, ‘Where did the nerves go?’
y/n smirks, ‘Meet you on the lane Danny boy.’
Y/N
It was safe to say you weren’t very good at bowling having not done it in years. Danny was beating you and loving every second of it, especially when you kept getting gutter balls he was practically rolling around on the floor laughing.
When Danny went to get the two of you drinks, you find the device children use and pull it over to your lane, hoping to hit some pins before Danny came back and caught you.
You line up the device and let your ball roll down, praying to whoever was listening to get you some points on the board, ‘pretty please with a cherry on top,’ you mutter to yourself.
The ball manages to hit five pins and you jump up and down giggling like a madman at your success.
‘I thought we couldn’t use that because we’re not kids y/n,’ Danny says jokingly from behind you.
You stop jumping and squeal seeing the blonde behind you holding his phone up and wearing a shit-eating grin, reality dawning on you that he’d probably filmed the whole thing and could use it as blackmail against you in the future.
‘Danny, consider this an exception,’ you say with a pout.
Danny lowers the phone and nods, ‘As long as you’re happy you can keep using it y/n. I missed this old y/n.’
You walk forwards and hug your best friend, ‘So did I Danny, thank you for helping me find them again.’
Danny hugs you back before motioning towards the device, ‘Do you think maybe I could try it out?’
You release him from the hug and step aside, ‘Have at it lion, as long as I can film you.’
Danny rolls his eyes and agrees to your terms. So you happily record him trying and failing to hit any pins, oh you were so sending this to the guys later. This was the most fun you’d had in a long time and you were thrilled to do it with Danny.
