Hey guys and happy Wednesday! In this blog, I'm going to be giving you three tips and tricks I have learned while being at UGA. These might not be helpful to everyone, but I hope it helps someone.
If you are walking from North Campus (ie: the main library) to go to Terry, Tate, or MLC, there's a shortcut. If you are coming from North Campus, you will walk down the million dollar stairs and cross the street. There will be an entrance into MLC a few feet away. You will walk into MLC and find that you are on the second floor, so if you want to study in MLC, you are already there. If you want to go to Tate, Terry, or Bolton, you will go down to the first floor stairs and you will walk out using the front doors. I learned this trick after a full year of walking all the way around MLC to get to my business classes. This is really helpful in the winter or even on days when it's raining or really sunny.
2. If you are ever looking for events to attend, MLC has boards near each of their elevators on every floor that's full of flyers from different clubs and events. One of my favorite clubs is Articulate Athenians (I'm the president of the club, haha).
3. Don't rely on the buses if you are running late. They are almost never on time and sometimes the bus app isn't working correctly. If you have to get on a bus, make sure you have more than enough time to get the where you need to!

In a game filled with standout performances by Georgia players, it was the unexpected heroics of defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse that stole the spotlight With star tight end Brock Bowers sidelined due to injury, the Bulldogs showcased their depth and versatility as mutliple players stepped up to make pivotal catches. However, it was Stackhouse's fourth-quarter interception that proved to be one of the most memorable moments of the game against Missouri.
With Georgia leading 27-21 in the fourth quarter, Stackhouse made an incredible interception near midfield, interceptiong a pass from Missouri's Brady Cook.  The 5-foot-3, 32--pound senior lineman couldn't believe his luck as he secured possession of the ball. His unexpected play came at a crucial moment in the game and helped solidify Georgia's victory.
Despite missing Bowers, who remains their leading receiver this season, Georgia demonstrated their offensive depth throughout the game. Quarterback Carson Beck had plenty of reliable targets to choose from as seven different Bulldogs caught passes against Missouri. Ladd McConkey continued him impressive form with seven catches for 85 yards while Dominic Lovett contributed four receptions for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Other players also made significant contributions in Bowwers' absence. Rara Thomas showcased his skills with three catches for 33 yards after transferring from Mississippi State this season. Tight end Oscar Delp continued to make an impact in both blocking and receiving roles with three catches for 33 yards and a touchdown.
Running back Daijun Edwards not only excelled on the ground but also proved himself as a reliable receiving option out of the backfield. He added two catches for 28 yards during Saturday's game, including a 23 yards during Saturday's game, including a 23 yard reception where he showcased his agility and gained most of his yards after the catch.
While interceptions are not common for defensive lineman, Stackhouse's game-changing play will be remembered as one of the highlights of the season. The senior lineman expressed his joy and described it as a dream come true, considering it was his first interception ever in his football career.
Georgia's victory against Missouri showcased their depth and resilience as various players stepped up to fill the void left by injured star Brock Bowers. Nazir Stackhouse's unexpected interception added an exciting twist to an already thrilling game. With multiple receiving options making crucial catches, Georgia proved that they have a talented roster capable of making big plays when needed most.

"The Last Walk"
The latest in my digital self-portraits and landscape series’. It depicts me walking in my doctoral regalia in the day of commencement. The walk (and plants/building in the background) was a familiar and wheelchair accessible route from the nearest parking garage to my office/classroom building.
