Mamoru was about to propose before Galaxia took him 😭 He clearly had a whole plan AGHHH

The first thing he did when he and Usagi were alone after returning to her was propose. And based on this Usagi made him say it a lot 🤣

I'm so very normal about them I swear. They love each other so damn much I can't stand it.

Usagi and Mamoru are THE most romantic couple in fiction.

They're destined lovers who just happen to be the prince and princess of two different planets. Their devotion to each other is unshakable. They defend their planet as one soul. They rule their kingdom together for over 900 years. I swear no other couple compares.

When I go to Instagram, pinterest etc and read comment sections on Sailor Moon posts about Mamoru and Usagi. It's very telling who grew up with the 90s anime and who didn't read the manga. Because those people always say

"Isn't she 14?" (While watching a video of Mamousa wedding"

"Their relationship was always weird. She was 14 while he was in college"

Lemme clear something up:

Its very ambiguous when exactly Usagi and Mamoru get married. But neither are minors when they do.

I believe that some time passed before their wedding. I mean just look,

These pages are directly after The senshi are sent back to their old lives by Guardian Cosmos. I personally don't think this is the very next morning after the Galaxy Couldron incident. The two spent a night together, and Mamoru proposed. But the previous events aren't mentioned.

The next pages are the Mamousa wedding. Clearly a good amount of time had to have passed. I choose to believe that Mamoru did still go to America for his studies and Usagi has since graduated from High School. They would need time for all the wedding preparations anyway. And look!

Usagi is wearing the crown of Neo Queen Serenity. And the environment is kinda regal don't you think? Remember this page?

I think that Mamoru and Usagi have already been crowned Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion. Especially with this page in mind.

Its safe to assume that Small Lady/Chibiusa has been conceived by this point. And since Serenity gives birth to her daughter around the same age as her ascension to the throne, she must be 22 at the time of her wedding.

And if Naoko Takeuchi has cleared this up herself in an interview or otherwise, please feel free to correct me! Link the source even! But for now this is just my point of view and the conclusion to the manga as I understand it.

I really wish the anime didn't make their relationship so confusing that people who do not read the manga or watch Crystal get the wrong idea. Its a completely different cannon so it doesn't apply to the crystal/manga one. And I'm not saying everyone MUST read the Sailor Moon manga and everyone MUST watch crystal. Just that it's a shame those who haven't aren't aware of the dynamics between Usagi and Mamoru in the main canon.
