For some reason, the tour bus that was supposed to take us to Ha Long Bay was taking a long time to arrive. We also had to walk from our place to another pick-up point. I did this drawing of the corner shop while waiting but the bus arrived before I finished it. Had to fill in the details later in the bus. On the third and final day of our stay in Hanoi, we opted for a half day tour of the city. This time we were happy that our tourguide was punctual and we were first to be on the bus. But not for the other tourists who were part of the group. Some came in late, some were not in the pick-up point and one cancelled without notice! I’ve always wanted to join a sketch walk with the Urban Sketchers Manila. Fortunately, the October Sketchwalk was held at Legaspi Village on Saturday. Since I was in the area, it will be a missed opportunity if I didn’t join them. I made three ink drawings (from a balcony, in Washington Sycip park and in Legaspi Active Park).
