Their Truth (pt 2)
Or at least the next few minutes of it.
3:59 photos of Little Harry and Diana followed by Little Meghan and Doria. (NB No Charles or Thomas yet)
4:05 lots of cameras flashing at Young Harry, who doesn't seem at all disturbed.
4:09 lots of cameras flashing at Old Harry walking in the sparkly rain with well-used pro Old Meghan, followed by a bunch of what look like B&W photobooth pics of them - as a couple - pretending to be teenagers and doing prehistoric teenage stuff like pulling smoochy faces in a shopping mall in the 1970s.
4:15 lots of private H&M shots of Archie-tossing and going for bike rides - which H did with his mum, dad and brother when he was little (Google is your friend) but has apparently forgotten because we're supposed to think this is H's new freedom, even though - surprise, surprise - the UK Media has confined their "intrusion" to carefully controlled pics of William, Catherine and their kids happily playing on the beach in rockpools with their grandad.
4:24 gods, their intertwining Monteshitto palm trees... sorry, think I might have typed that wrong, darned autocorrect!
4:30, screen is blank; programme paused, going for a wee-wee.
Here's an interesting one so listen up carefully! 5:20-ish, the Happy Couple are shown VT footage of Meghan being interviewed in 2015, in front of something that looks like it says "Comftidioemts" [sic] which I can't be sure of because I'm vision-impaired. I'm not suggesting that this is some kind of ageist, anti-blind person thing, but it looks to me like a logo for a rural dental practice: "Comfidents - the most comfortable teeth you'll ever wear." But here's the weird thing - the interviewer asks her, Prince William or Prince Harry? Meghan giggles, shrugs and says, I don't know? Harry? Remember, this is the actress who swears she doesn't know the Royal Family and didn't know Harry before the blind date, even though her best friend's mom says she was obsessed with Diana. And then when VT Meghan suggests "Harry?", the Netflix now-husband Harry giggles as if he's delighted he's got one up on his brother. It's really weird, creepy-outy stuff. considering William and Catherine were married in 2011, had Prince George in 2013 and were expecting Princess Charlotte at this point.
"Meghan, who do you fancy most even though you haven't actually met either of them? Harry, or Catherine's husband?"
It's no good, it's evening and I'm cracking open the gin. Still got 52 minutes of torture ahead of me. Trust me, I'll get through this for you. Eventually.

BIOGRAPHY.
Harlow was the miracle Maxwell and Lucille Hanlon had always hoped for and more. In love since the tender age of 20, their educational ventures were their lives' sole focus for many years. They finished their studies, began to work as attorneys and earn a good living for themselves. It wasn't until Lucille and Maxwell neared their 30's, a time at which they'd been married for almost five years, that they began to wonder, if a child might not be just the blessing they needed to perfect their life as a family. Though luck wasn't on their side. Years of fruitless hoping and trying to conceive a child went by and weighed heavy on their minds. Especially Lucille's. The endless string of disappointments and visits to multiple doctors offices, wore her down. Just a few weeks after Maxwell had first proposed the idea of an adoption to his wife, their biggest wish was granted and nine months later, their first and only daughter, Harlow, was born.
All the memories of her childhood were doused in bright sunlight.
There was not a single thing the little girl had to miss. Raised in Emerald Mist, there was not a single care in the world for the Hanlons, especially their daughter. Showered in love and adoration by her parents and extended family, the girl got her every wish granted. Only the best was just about good enough for their daughter. Maxwell and Lucille were so lovestruck by their little girl, with eyes bright as a summer sky and hair like liquid gold, they barely realized just how much they pampered her. Harlow grew up to be exceptionally bright. She was a curious child, inquisitive and bold and unafraid. She had never learned the limitations of healthy boundaries or the importance of the word 'No'. How could she? After all, she was a girl who got everything her heart desired.
Harlow had always been a smart kid. Always on top of the class, without having to put too much effort into her studies. The pride her parents took in their daughters intelligence and grades, her name on the dean's list, justified the excessive shopping sprees their daughter engaged in, in her teenage years. Harlow lived her life for the moment, didn't have any long-term goals, like her parents, which lead the young girl, on the threshold of being a woman, to dismiss the opportunity of going to university, to build a life for herself. Instead, Harlow continued to live in her parents lavish house in Emerald Mist, continued to spend their money on clothes and makeup and parties.
At one such outing, an innocent game of Truth or Dare resulted in the disappearance of her classmate, who has not been found to this very day, the search ongoing for a decade.
Her outgoing and excessive lifestyle lead Harlow to know a lot of people, though you could hardly call them her friends. The idea of what made a friendship was foreign to the girl, as she's never known of the importance of loyalty and empathy. Harlow had never had to learn the important lessons in life, never had to tighten her grip around reality. What it means to work for your money. How important the loyalty of a real, profound friendship truly is.
It was a slow process. A slow build up, to Maxwell and Lucille realizing, that their daughter, now on her way of nearing her mid-twenties, did not seem to plan on getting her life together any time soon. Talks were held and it didn't take much more than a handful of fights with her parents, until the young woman found an aim in life, something to work towards. Moving to LA at age 25, Harlow began her studies in fashion design, excelling at each class and graduating soon enough at top of her class.
As a new opportunity presented itself, the chance to work at a new fashion store as an assistant manager, Harlow seized it, moving back to her hometown mere four years after her departure to California. Living in a downtown apartment, Harlow is still proven to be oblivious and negligent toward any and every inconvenience, lavishing in her lifestyle of glamor, although not quite as much as it once has been, still not used to receiving "No" for an answer. Though she now is more responsible than in her early teenage years, Harlow can't shake the importance of other peoples' approval, wants to be adored and mistakes every smile for kindness. On bad days, it means much more than things that truly matter.

Enhance Your Home's Energy Efficiency with Window Replacement in Charleston, SC: A Guide from Powell Roofing
Introduction to Energy-Efficient Window Replacement
As a homeowner in Charleston, SC, you know how important it is to maintain a comfortable and energy-efficient home. One area that often gets overlooked is the windows. That's why investing in energy-efficient window replacement is crucial. In this guide, brought to you by Powell Roofing, a reputable Window Replacement in Charleston SC, we will explore the benefits of energy-efficient windows, how to understand the energy efficiency rating system, factors to consider when choosing windows, and how to find a reputable window replacement company.
Tumblr media
The Benefits of Energy-Efficient Windows
Upgrading to energy-efficient windows offers a multitude of benefits. Firstly, these windows provide better insulation, reducing heat transfer between the inside and outside of your home. This means that during hot summers, your home will stay cooler without relying heavily on air conditioning. Similarly, during chilly winters, energy-efficient windows will keep the cold air out and the warm air inside, reducing the need for excessive heating.
Secondly, energy-efficient windows can significantly lower your energy bills. By minimizing heat loss or gain, these windows reduce the workload on your heating and cooling systems, resulting in lower energy consumption. Over time, the savings can be substantial, making energy-efficient windows a wise investment.
Additionally, energy-efficient windows contribute to a more comfortable living environment. With their ability to minimize drafts and reduce outside noise, you can enjoy a quieter and more peaceful home. Furthermore, these windows often feature advanced glazing technology, which helps filter harmful UV rays, protecting your furniture, flooring, and artwork from fading.
Understanding the Energy Efficiency Rating System
To make an informed decision when selecting energy-efficient windows, it's crucial to understand the energy efficiency rating system. The most common rating system is the U-factor, which measures the window's ability to resist heat transfer. A lower U-factor indicates better insulation properties. Another important rating to consider is the Solar Heat Gain Coefficient (SHGC), which measures how much heat from the sun is transmitted through the window. A lower SHGC is desirable in hot climates like Charleston, SC.
Window manufacturers also provide information about Visible Transmittance (VT), which measures the amount of visible light that can pass through the window. A higher VT means more natural light and a brighter interior. Lastly, the Air Leakage (AL) rating indicates the amount of air that can pass through the window. A lower AL rating signifies less air leakage and better energy efficiency.
Factors to Consider When Choosing Energy-Efficient Windows
When selecting energy-efficient windows for your home, several factors should be taken into consideration. Firstly, the window frame material plays a significant role in overall energy efficiency. Common options include vinyl, wood, aluminum, and fiberglass. Each material has its pros and cons, such as durability, maintenance requirements, and insulation properties. It's important to choose a frame material that suits your needs and complements the aesthetics of your home.
Next, consider the glazing options available for energy-efficient windows. Double-pane or triple-pane windows provide better insulation compared to single-pane windows. Additionally, low-emissivity (low-E) coatings can further enhance energy efficiency by reflecting heat into the room. Gas fills, such as argon or krypton, between the window panes can also improve insulation properties.
Lastly, don't forget to consider the style and design of the windows. Energy-efficient windows come in various styles, including double-hung, casement, awning, and sliding windows. Choose a style that matches your home's architecture and personal preferences. Consult with a reputable window replacement company, like Powell Roofing, to explore all the options available and receive expert advice tailored to your specific needs.
Conclusion
Investing in energy-efficient Window Replacement in Charleston, SC. Not only do these windows improve insulation, reduce energy consumption and lower utility bills, but they also contribute to a more comfortable and peaceful living environment. Understanding the energy efficiency rating system and considering factors such as frame material, glazing options, and window style is essential when choosing the right windows for your home.
To ensure a successful window replacement project, it is crucial to find a reputable window replacement company like Powell Roofing. ALRIGHT I'm about to McFreaking Lose It so let me ramble
Yknow that 2D larryboy cartoon from 2002-2003? Why the fuck are some characters clearly knockoffs of main VT characters?
Herbert and Wallie were clearly written to be Jimmy and Jerry, but were changed? Officer Olaf is definitely Scooter. And I'm pretty sure Vicky is supposed to be Petunia.
But other main series characters get to stay like Bob, Archie/Alfred, and Junior. I honestly can't figure out why that is? I thought it was issues with voice actors but Mike Nawrocki and Phil Vischer are still cast in the 2D cartoon so what gives? Vischer was also executive producer.
My 2nd theory was that the show was produced during the legal gray area days and that could be true since the show was canceled when Big Idea filed for bankruptcy.
I dunno man lol

Hi there! I really liked the Tech Whisperer story you wrote from a few years back! I know it's old, but could you give me a tl;dr of it though? That story was really wordy, so I'd like a version that's not as much of a mouthful as it was, not saying you should delete it like with Dead to Me and Larryboy and the Unfortunate Reminder, speaking of which, what happened to them? I'm planning on doing a fnf mod based on it someday with a normal route and a "dark" route. - Signed, an Archie fangirl! :)
Funny that, I *did* think about deleting that story several times due to a handful of reasons actually. If there's something I agree with you, it's that it's a long story to sit through lol. I'll probably orphan it on AO3 in a year or two because of how melodramatic it is (and a bunch of other bad memories), don't be surprised.
Okay, so basically, and I am trying to summarise this as simple as possible:
LarryBoy is chasing some criminals one night (it's the scallion trio), one of them uses a special tear gas on LB, causing him to temporarily lose his vision since he has no eye protection. While blinded, he's aided by an unknown person who turns out to be Alfred. The two eventually become good friends. We find out Alfred came to Bumblyburg with his college friend, Montgomery (a persimmon) and that they run around as "Hero Correctors" because the "superheroes" in their hometown were corrupt, and they were sick and tired of it. Montgomery is the Batsman with a cricket (the sport) theme, and Alfred had the Tech Whisperer for his ability to hack, modify, and control anything run on technology. Ever since Alfred and Larry became friends, Montgomery had a mixed view of it and to see how good of a superhero LarryBoy is, so he tests him by robbing a bank and having Alfred do his Tech Whisperer abilities to get in and out of said bank. Because Alfred was getting close to Larry, he couldn't help but alert Larry which pissed off Montgomery...a lot. You see, Montgomery wanted to rob the bank to pay off some goons who helped him and Alfred escape their home country after said "deadly accident" I mentioned earlier. Alfred ruined their chance, Montgomery gets vengeance by beating him with his cricket bat and kicks him out of their shared house. When Alfred meets up with Larry the following day, Alfreds tells him he was in an accident and doesn't have a place to stay, so Larry offers his pad. Things go smoothly for a while with Larry getting to be LarryBoy without Alfred finding out about his superhero ego; however, after a surprise confrontation with Montgomery (as Batsman), LarryBoy is a little beaten up but manages to get back to his mansion...only to be caught taking off his mask by Alfred.
I might be going a little off with exact details, but, hey, it's been a while.
Larry and Alfred are still good friends, and Alfred even offers to help LarryBoy with better equipment etc, but (there's always a "but") around Christmas, Montgomery blackmails Alfred to work for him one last time or else he'll tell Larry what Alfred did back in their home country. Alfred has to leave without telling Larry where he's going. Larry, of course, is dismayed by his disappearance but soon his worry will go away when a threat by Batsman to rob another bank and ruin the Bumblyburg Christmas tree lighting event. LarryBoy hurries to the bank where he almost gets crushed by the banks gates, but he's able to hold onto the ceiling, catch Batsman who then spills the beans about Alfred. Alfred caused the death of a corrupt superhero by crushing them with rising gates within a local bank. In order to hide their tracks of the accident instead of facing consequences, Montgomery contacts some unknown goons to fly them out of there...unfortunately they have to pay them back within a certain amount of time or else they'll squeal. Larry offers to pay them off, Montgomery tells Larry where Alfred is, the two have an emotional reunion on the bank rooftop, and that's it. Montgomery moves away, Alfed becomes Larry's butler and companion.
That's about it. 💃
While I'm honored you want to make an FnF mod of Tech Whisperer, I can't help but feel thrown off by the idea for a second and I can't help but worry about being harassed by people for making a legit VT story, but if that's what you want to do, go for it!

I've read some of Dani's VT teens AU stories and I wanna bring up something that I'm scared to but here: I have a feeling that Scallion 1 bullies Archie the most and wants Lovey as his gf is because he doesn't want anyone to know he's pansexual and has a crush on Archie He's really self conscious about his sexuality that he doesn't want to come out to anyone else, not even to his friends and parents (they're probably strict) Little did he know that Archie's just like him (bisexual) Sorry ;-;
Hey?  Hey anon?  I love this.  I do not have the proper vernacular to articulate exactly how much I love this.Just the potential in this…. GUH. Wow it’s amazing!I will say that I don’t like bully/bullied ships, because…intentionally hurting somebody that you like, is, well, kind of abusive!  (I used to like them when I was young, rip)  But exploring it, unpacking it, Seth fixing his attitude and then fixing his relationships with both Archie AND Lovey.. that’s what I like.I can’t reveal too much about what we’re doing with Seth’s parents, but that family needs a lot of help.I do know that it’d take a long time to build up any sort of trust between Archie and Seth after all the mean stuff he’s done to Archie in our scripts. lul
And if you ever want to come off anon, I don’t bite! God bless!

So since (as far as we know) most of the VT characters don't have official birth dates ;; That being said the reason I'm doing a special picture of Archie on the 13th is because that's my fanon birthday for him :B

Hewwo!!!
First post!!
Okay, so, lemme introduce myself.  [The following text will likely be copied and pasted into my about page later.]
Hi! My name’s Lucy!
I’m female, and I’m a total dork!
My birthday is August 23rd.
I’m christian, but I’m not incredibly religious.
I support any and all LGBT folks.  In fact, I support all folks, period!
I live in the US, but I can’t go into much detail.  No creepers allowed!
I’m generally very positive most of the time.  I find joy and happiness in making others joyful and happy!  I can also be kinda weird sometimes. [not like WEIRD-weird, just...  random.]
I distinctly remember loving Veggietales since I was a toddler!  I think I got a VHS of it from my old church as a kid, but it’s long gone by now.
My top 5 favorite Veggietales characters [in order] are Archie, Bob, Larry, Junior and Mr. Lunt.
My favorite Silly Song is definitely The Biscuit of Zazzamarandabo!  Poor Archie just wants to see his biscuit, haha.
As for my favorite VT episode?  DEFINITELY The League of Incredible Vegetables!  That and all of the LarryBoy episodes.  Though, if we’re talking about normal Veggietales and not the LarryBoy universe, my favorite episode is probably either The Star of Christmas or Rack, Shack and Benny.
When it comes to the stuff you’ll find on this blog, all of it will likely be Veggietales related [unless it’s a mod post and specifically states otherwise].  I’ll probably reblog a lot of stuff and post a TON of screenshots, among other things.  Might post art here every now and then, too, as well as VT related text posts [theories, reviews, unpopular opinions, random thoughts, etc.].
If you read this whole post down to here, thank you for your time!!!  If you just skipped to the bottom because you were too lazy to read it, to that I say HOW DARE-
Nah just kidding, it’s okay if you just skim over this post.  Just wanna introduce myself.  Okay, enough rambling!  This post is getting long!!!  See you guys later! [if anyone read this, that is.]

MAGNOLIA MIDSUMMER CLASSIC
SOUTH WOODSTOCK, VT 3:22 PM
Unlike Archie, who'd been whining about the heat all day, and Dot, who'd been a little more subtle about it but couldn't hide her pinkened cheeks and glossy skin, Agatha didn't mind the warmth...
With the air still and somewhat humid, the sky pouring sunshine upon the land; her skin was open and waiting, ready to drink it. The heat, she thought, was like snow, and silence, and night, the way it accentuated the strangeness of normal things. She glanced down at the heavy heads of the camellia blossoms as she passed, blooming sleepily in the shade. Crickets sang tired songs from the ringside, hidden in the summer grasses. Poquelin swished his tail; a wiry sound, scraping the air, while his hooves in the sand were a hollow noise, and an even rhythm.
Thump, thump, thump.
They halted in front of the judge. Saluted. Agatha, in her peripheral vision, could see the air shimmering. The image of the forest and mountains, aqueous with ninety-degree haze.
The bell sounded.
Agatha turned her eyes to the first fence and had Poquelin pick up a canter, her thoughts of the heat and its strange effect on things melted away in an instant.
----------------------------------------
In the haze of show entries, somebody always ends up getting rushed and thus earning themselves the label of most lacklustre entry.
... This time, it was Agatha & Poquelin’s turn. Cx
(I know, I’m awful; you don’t need to tell me)
