The Elain stans who hate the Valkyries do so because they're jealous that the Valkyrie storyline was given to Nesta and not Elain.

I can't hold their jealousy against them, though. I'd be jealous too if I weren't a Valkyrie stan. I mean, I wish I could be one of the badass warriors, who became the first females to win the Blood Rite, but alas all I can do is cheer them on.
