I really wasn’t excited for Viera when they first came out, mostly because of their stupid bullshit gender politics.  Then I thought of a concept for one who grew up in the Wood with a boy whom she had a gigantic crush on.  Then he had to leave their village because that’s what boy Viera are supposed to do, and she didn’t want to lose her one true love, so she set out to track him down.  But then she got distracted when she discovered that the world has So. Many. Boys. Boys with horns, boys with tails, wide stubby boys, skinny pointy boys, big boys, tiny boys, medium boys AND WHY DIDN’T ANYONE TELL HER ALL BOYS WERE THIS GORGEOUS?!?

...Then I realized that I’d essentially thought up the FFXIV version of Tina Belcher so I decided to lean into it.

“I’ve seen enough romantic comedies to know you’re probably gonna fall for me.”

My “serious” alts have been historically ill-fated, so we’ll see how far I can get with a joke one. Sure she’ll get her heart broken if she ever gets to the end of HW, but the MSQ has plenty of other butts boys in store for her.

...Also her name is Veena Belcher.

Uh-oh, Veena Belcher earned me a couple of new followers.  S-sorry guys… I hate to have to tell you that 90% of this blog is actually about this man;
