Buck: So I've made a mistake today. Maddie: You can sound a bit more concerned. Buck: The mistake is not important. The important thing is I am legally married now. Maddie, flabbergasted: Buck! Buck, grinning: Don't worry. Eddie made the mistake with me. Eddie, shrugs: I say it was more like a happy accident.

OK, walk with me here:
So Buck and Eddie get married the night of the bachelor party as a joke but then the next morning they both have zero memory of it.
Jump to the season finale!
Buck and/or Eddie has to do something mundane but legally related (similar to how madney found out about their “tax fraud”) separately. They are confused the whole episode on why whatever they’re trying to do isn’t working and THEN at the very end of the episode one of them checks their mail and there’s a certified letter and they open it and it’s their marriage license and you just get an “oh shit” look and then fade to black.
DO YOU SEE THE VISION?

What if we get married this week?
| A/N: I got this idea after watching the F1 video of the drivers being asked which one would get married in Vegas, and I haven’t been able to get it out of my head since.
- this story is set a few years ago, around 2020-2021 for reference.
• please let me know if you’d like a part 2!
✨ Daniel Ricciardo x Reader ✨
———————————————————————————
The bustling lights of the Las Vegas strip painted the backdrop to your spontaneous adventure with Daniel. Two days into your vacation, the city that never sleeps had lived up to its reputation, offering a continuous flow of excitement and celebration. As fatigue finally caught up with both of you, an unspoken consensus settled in after a hearty dinner: a quiet night in the hotel.
On this fateful Monday evening, post-room service, and amidst the glow of the TV, you and Daniel lounged on the bed. American reality TV played in the background as you, the first to get ready for bed, watched Daniel draw a bath. In the dimly lit room, you found yourself scrolling through TikTok, stumbling upon a video of a Vegas elopement. Intrigued, you quietly opened Safari, embarking on a journey to understand the ins and outs of these impromptu ceremonies.
Over a year had passed since Daniel’s heartfelt proposal during the challenging times of the pandemic. The absence of wedding plans had invited a barrage of inquiries about the impending nuptials. Responses like “it’s coming along” had become your default, but the truth was, the overwhelming thought of planning a wedding had left you at a standstill. All that truly mattered was the commitment you and Daniel shared.
As you dived into research, a TikTok-induced black hole unfolded, showcasing the seemingly convenient and easy process of Vegas weddings. The pieces seemed to align perfectly: your friends were due to arrive the next day, potentially turning this spontaneous decision into a shared celebration. However, a barrage of questions flooded your mind—how would your family react? Were these weddings even real? What if Daniel didn’t share your excitement?
He was all about spontaneous moments, but maybe this was pushing it. You’ve waited over a year to since the engagement, so why couldn’t you wait another year? So many thoughts flooded your mind. How would your family react? are these weddings even real? What is Daniel doesn’t want to?
Your thoughts were interrupted by Daniel coming out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist, “babe, have you seen my shorts?” He questioned as you laid there frozen. He startled you, but not because of his abrupt entrance. Your eyes scanned his body slowly. There were beads of water dripping from his hair down to his toned abs, you couldn’t help but bite your lip. The unintentional show momentarily captivated you, reaffirming your desire to marry him. Next thing you knew his face was an inch from yours, and he sported the biggest smirk. He reached down toward the floor on your side of the bed and picked something up, “found them” he smiled and placed a quick kiss on your lips.
“Must’ve forgot them there when we left for dinner,” he winked at you causing you to snap out of your trance. You watched as Daniel quickly put his shorts on and dropped the towel off back in the bathroom. Your throat felt dry as you went back to brainstorming ideas of how to tell Daniel you wanted to elope. “Can you grab me a water bottle please?” you requested, seizing the opportunity to regain composure. Heart pounding, you contemplated how to bring up the topic of elopement. As Daniel fetched the water, nerves tightened their grip.
With both of you now in bed, an air of quiet contemplation hung between you. “Are you sleepy?” you asked, eyes fixed on the TV. “No, not really,” Daniel replied, wrapping an arm around you. The hushed ambiance created an opening for the unexpected.
“I wanted to ask you something,” Daniel began, adjusting himself to sit up, eyes locked with yours. A chuckle escaped you, familiar with the unpredictability of his inquiries. “I have a crazy idea, but you have to hear me out, okay?” he pleaded, capturing your attention. “Oh jeez,” you chuckled, this could mean anything coming from him. He looked at you with a serious expression as he searches your eyes for any sense of hesitance. He paused for a moment before continuing.
“What if we get married this week?” The words hung in the air, sending shockwaves through your thoughts.
Staring at him in disbelief, you waited for an explanation. “I know you want a nice, big wedding—and so do I. But what if we do, like, a Vegas wedding, you know, like in the movies? Just me and you. I think it’ll be fun,” he rambled, attempting to gauge your reaction. “Okay maybe not,” he back tracked at your lack of communication back to him. “No, no, no,” caught off guard, you kneeled in front of him, revealing your phone screen with the Vegas wedding research. “I was just looking at that,” you exclaimed, excitement bubbling within.
In a moment of synchronicity, you both realized the alignment of your thoughts. “I want to get married in Vegas, let’s get married tomorrow” you jumped up in bed. Laughter and joy filled the room as Daniel, equally exhilarated, pulled you onto him, both of you reveling in the spontaneity of the decision. This happens a lot between you two, where you’ll be thinking the same thing simultaneously. It was one of the reasons why you two worked so well together.
“You’re serious right?” He steadied you with his hands on your biceps. “I’m so serious,” you affirmed, wrapping your arms around his neck. Daniel, still in disbelief, sought reassurance in your eyes before sealing the decision with a kiss. You jumped up and he pulled you onto him as you wrapped his legs around his waist. The biggest rush of happiness and adrenaline came over both of you as you jumped in bed like children. He spun you around with the biggest smile on his face before he stumbled back and steadied himself on the wall. Both of you bursted out laughing before taking a seat back on the bed.
“I can’t believe it,” he was shocked, “we’ve done it again” he laughed at the fact that you guys were thinking the same thing once again. “We always do,” you smiled back at him.
Daniel paused for a second, “wait-“ he spoke up looked at you, “when were you looking that up?” he questioned as he picked up your phone to look at the website once more. “While you had a bath. I saw a TikTok about it and I fell down a rabbit hole,” you explained sheepishly. He looked at you in awe before placing another kiss on your lips, which caught you off guard. “How soon can we do it?” he inquired, the rush of happiness and adrenaline palpable. “I think as early as tomorrow,” you responded, pulling out your phone once more.
“But everyone arrives tomorrow,” Daniel interjected, hesitating before realizing the perfect twist. “How funny would it be if everyone came in and we surprised them with our wedding?” you both chuckled at the prospect. “I don’t know if they expect any less from us, if I’m being honest,” Daniel joked.
“Look it up to see when we can do it” he motioned to the phone in your hand.
You both huddled together, scrolling through the marriage page, searching for the soonest available slot. Daniel suggested a picturesque chapel he had seen during your earlier explorations of the city. The excitement grew as you found an opening for a wedding ceremony the next day. With wide smiles, you booked the slot and exchanged glances, realizing the spontaneity of the decision. The anticipation of surprising your friends with a Vegas wedding added an extra layer of thrill. As you closed the browser, you looked at each other, the reality sinking in that you were about to embark on a spontaneous adventure of a lifetime.
Daniel grinned, his eyes sparkling with excitement, “We’re really doing this, aren’t we?”
The night unfolded in a whirlwind of planning. You both brainstormed ideas, figuring out the details of your unexpected ceremony. From finding a suitable outfit to deciding on the perfect location in Vegas, the two of you were immersed in the excitement of the impending nuptials.

tender - maxiel, obvs <3
The hand Daniel places on his cheek is tender. "Let's do it," he says. "Let's get married."
Max laughs. Daniel can't be serious.
"No, Maxy, I mean it. We're here in Vegas! We should just do it! If you want to have a big party later we can but I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I know it. You know it. Maybe everyone else should too."
"Okay," Max says, quiet at first and then louder. "Okay, let's do it."
"Yes!" Daniel exclaims and punches the air. "I already looked at a wedding chapel and they take walk ins. Let me just text Blake. He can be our witness."
Daniel half walks, half jogs to the other side of the hotel and types into his phone. He waits a minute and then looks up. "He says he'll meet us there."
And just like that, two hours and thirty-seven minutes later, at 1:15 in the morning, Max is standing at an alter, Daniel slipping a cheap ring that came on special with the wedding ceremony package on his finger while Daniel recites the vows fed to him by an Elvis impersonator. He doesn't think there could ever be a moment more chaotically Daniel or more perfect in his life. When Elvis pronounces them husband and husband, Daniel dips him as they kiss, cheesy and perfect. Max hopes Blake got a good picture.

what happens in vegas - b. bradshaw
Tumblr media
pairing: bradley x girlfriend!reader, bradley x wife!reader summary: bradley and reader get drunkenly married in vegas then wake up the next morning hungover and try to piece together their night tw: referenced drinking/being drunk, hangovers, throwing up, the entire wedding flashback needs a warning becasue my writing skills really plumeted at that point (my apologies)
As you felt yourself drift awake you felt the familiar warmth of your boyfriend Bradley behind you and the slightly foreign feelings of a terrible hangover.
Your head was pounding, the sun streaming in through the open curtains was blinding, and you were pretty sure you were gonna throw up within the next 30 seconds.
You threw Bradley's arm off you as you practically jumped out of bed and sprinted to the bathroom. You made it to the bathroom and in front of the toilet just in time.
Sitting on the floor to catch your breath, something caught your eye. Something shiny, and small, and on your left ring finger. And oh my god had you and Bradley really gotten married last night?
Upon this realization, you attempted to piece together the fuzzy events of last night.
You remembered the first bar and the handful of shots and beers you had all had there. By the time last call happened, you were definetly drunk and only yourself, bradley, phoenix, hangman, and coyote remained out.
The group had moved on to another bar and this is where it really got fuzzy. You knew there had been more alcohol and that coyote had left with a girl at some point. You just barely remembered walking into the chapel with Phoenix and Hangman and the Elvis impersonator that officiated the ceremony. Holy Shit. You really did drunkenly marry Bradley in Las Vegas.
As you were finishing up brushing your teeth you felt Bradley wrap his arms around your waist and press and chaste kiss to you shoulder. "Good Morning" you muttered as you turned your head slightly to kiss him on the cheek.
"Morning, sweetheart" Bradley said as he peppered more kisses on your shoulder and up your neck. "Or should i say Mrs. Bradshaw"
Turning in your husbands(?) hold to wrap your arms around his neck. "So we did get married last night"
"I'm pretty sure, if the rings and marriage certificate on the dresser are anything to go off." Bradly said as he pulled your hand down from around his neck to run his fingers over your ring.
You hummed softly in response as Bradley led you both back to bed after you both took some Advil.
You both laid in bed silently for awhile just wrapped up in each other until Bradley Spoken again. "Do you regret it?" he mumbled as he spun your ring around you finger.
You cupped his face in your hands and pulled his face up slightly so he was looking at you as you spoke. " No, just wish i remembered it is all."
"Thank god. It's not exactly how i planned on making you my wife, but i was going to marry you anyway." Bradley admitted as he continued to toy with your ring.
"Yeah?" You asked as a soft smile broke out across you features.
"Yeah" Bradley affirmed before bringing you had up to place a kiss against you knuckles.
"What even happened last night anyway, i remember the two bars but most everything after that is pretty fuzzy."
Tumblr media
*last night*
You were drunk. Very, very drunk. Majority of you body weight was against Bradley as you both drunkenly stubbled your way down the street. Phoenix and Hangman were behind you somewhere, also thoroughly drunk. You and everyone else had been to two bars before this and you were feeling all the alcohol you had consumed.
Through you blurred vision you could see one of the wedding chapels that did weddings officiated by Elvis. Without really thinking about it you stopped walking in front of the chapel and looked towards your boyfriend, "We should get married" you managed to slur out.
"What" clearly caught off guard, Bradly stumbled slightly before what you said registered in his drunken mind. "Let's do it" He said after a few minutes and the four of you were s in the chapel to get married by Elvis with hangman and phoenix as you witnesses.
Phoenix was giggling and cheering while taking photos the whole ceremony, as Hangman stood beside her with an arm around her shoulders as he made fun of how sappy and in love you and Bradley were even when drunk.
At some point both you and Bradley has started crying throughout the ceremony. You repeated the vows the impersonator said, before slipping the cheap ring provided by the chapel on Bradley's finger. Bradley did the same before you heard the "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may now kiss the bride." Then Bradley was pressing his lips firmly to yours as he cupped you cheeks.
*End of flashback*
Tumblr media
"God getting married in Vegas is such a cliche" You groaned out as you rolled into Bradley's chest.
"I'm pretty sure it was your idea honey so i'm not sure you can complain" Bradley said with a chuckle. "I don't remember much but i definitely remember you stopping in front of the chapel and saying "Let's get Married." that only causes you to groan again and burrow further into his chest.
"I hate you sometimes" you said feigning annoyance
"Your the one that decided to marry me darling" Bradley replied as he lightly tickled your side.
"Well i want a divorce" You managed to squeak out between laughs.
With a dramatic gasp Bradley demanded that you, "Take that back right now honey!" as he amped up his tickling.
Between your laughter you managed a breathy "Okay! Okay! I don't want a divorce!"
You and Bradley shared lazy kisses as you both caught your breath. "I love you" you softly muttered against Bradley's lips.
"I love you, more sweetheart" Bradley muttered in response before pressing a long but soft kiss against your lips. After a moment of silence Bradley spoke again, "What if we had a real wedding ceremony, I know last night was real and official but what if we had one with everyone we care about present and i can put a. real ring i picked out on you finger" he said softly, almost like he was nervous.
"That'd be nice, We can get Mav and Penny to help us with it when we get home." You said softly in Response as you and Bradley looked at each other with so much love.
"Yeah?" Bradley Questioned, a soft smile breaking out on his face.
You responded with a simple "Yeah" before you kissed him again.
"I love you Mrs. Bradshaw, so much" Bradley said after you both were quiet for a couple minutes, just soaking in the moment.
"I love you too, Lieutenant Bradshaw, so much."
a/n: this is the longest fic i've written so far and i absolutely adore it (well except that flashback i'm not really sure what happened there)

Chewis and vegas wedding
Oh anon, you are making me SO happy with this ask!! Forget about the 5-paragraph, I got overboard with this one but it was worth it XD
Enjoy ;)
*****
Whoever decided to make Las Vegas the third to last race is an idiot and should be fired. It is so irresponsible. It's Vegas, the worst can happen.
Sure, there is no better place to celebrate a championship win, and Lewis just so happens to snatch the title that night. He doesn’t win the race, Charles does. He comes second, and it’s enough, it’s great, even, because his boyfriend is happy and celebrating, and so is he. The Vegas atmosphere is quick to get to them.
Daniel is the one in charge of organising the party, after, something big with all the drivers and all the teams because it’s Vegas and rivalry doesn’t matter in the city of Sins. Getting drunk and high and laid is probably everyone’s priority right now. Even Alonso doesn’t look too bumped to have lost the championship to Lewis.
There’s no time for debrief, Lewis barely has any time to hop back to his trailer – he shares it with Charles, has been for the beginning of the season – and change his clothes. He still has champagne in his hair, and he doesn’t care.
The party is insane. You can count on Daniel to organise something amazing.
Lewis is handed a glass, two, he shakes hands, gets a hug from Toto, two from Bono, and even one from Angela who came just to watch the race. He doesn’t see Charles for the first two hours or so. He’s drunk and horny and sad when he finds him because, hey, he just won his 8th title and he can’t celebrate it with the love of his life?
He hates it.
So, when he spots Charles, he has very little inhibition even if he's not that drunk, and has no remorse rudely pulling him out of the conversation he was having with some sponsors and dragging him to the dancefloor.
“L-Lewis!” he yelps, and it’s so cute Lewis wants to kiss him. Something tells him he shouldn’t, but he can’t remember what. He’s a bit of a mess, alright, but Charles sure doesn’t seem to mind, when Lewis finally kisses him.
He hears a few gasps around them. Ah. Right. People. People who didn't know.
Charles doesn’t seem to mind. He’s still kissing Lewis passionately, letting out little moans. When they pull apart, Lewis just feels overwhelmed with love. Charles looks beautiful, his hair is a mess, and his lips are wet, and Lewis wants to-
“Marry me,” he blurts out, and finds out that he means it. Charles widens his eyes, smiles-
“Yes, yes, I want to,” he cries out, and Lewis feels too many things to name them.
“Fuck, I don’t even have a ring,” he curses, and Charles pulls something from his pocket. A little box.
“I do,” he says shyly. “I had planned to ask you but you were quicker in this one… as always.”
“My god, I love you,” Lewis sighs in happiness. “Let’s get married now.”
“Now?”
“It’s Vegas, baby!” he smiles, he can't stop smiling.
“Oh, hell with it, why not!”
Daniel somehow saw the whole thing and is absolutely delighted with the idea of organising a wedding right now. Everyone in the paddock is probably too drunk to realise it’s something serious. They’re all just happy to have an excuse to get even more wasted.
Valtteri and Angela agree to be Lewis’ best man, and Pierre cries when Charles asks him to be his.
It’s only after the wedding, after exchanging vows and rings, after hours of dancing and a few more of fucking, that Lewis realises what happened.
He was married.
“God, Mom is going to kill me,” he groans. Charles is wrapped around him, head on his chest.
“Don’t worry, Maman won’t let me live if we don’t get married again with the family. We’ll have time to organise something this winter,” his boyfrie- his husband says with a yawn.
Lewis is exhausted, but he’s got a stupid grin on his face just thinking about the word.
Nevermind, whoever decided to put Las Vegas at the end of the calendar deserves a raise.

Hello
I don't know if it's already been done before or not but here's my prompt.
Buck and Eddie get drunk in Vegas and got married. When they sobered up, they agreed that it was a mistake and decide to get an annulment.
Eddie is the one to take care of that but instead of doing it, he goes to his lawyer and names Buck as Chris legal guardian in case he dies, and even decide to prepare documents to let Buck adopts Chris because he is a fool desperately in love with his best friend.
Buck doesn't know about it until someday he receives something in the mail that tells him that he's married.
Eddie finally told him what he's done and they decide that it was a good thing. When they annunce to the 118 that they're still married (they were all invited to the wedding in Vegas) no one is surprised.
:)
