“Lewis was to my certain knowledge the only driver who bothered to come down to the W Series paddock,” Kravitz said on the Sky Sports F1 podcast.
“He went down. He did. I asked him on Friday what he felt still needed to be done and he was looking at companies coming in. I don’t think W Series fell short by tens of millions of pounds.
I don't want Sebastian Vettel to do Extreme E now that he's retiring ... I want him to put his money where his mouth is and help W Series ... become their sponsor, their spokesperson, their race director, whatever
I don't want Nico ✨girldad✨ Rosberg on german TV putting his money in more or less innovative pitches, I want him to pitch W Series, help the series, make it big, make it profitable, make it successful
I want Lewis Hamilton to help them too, even if it's just by slapping his name on stuff
I want Jaime Chadwick to get a testing session in a F1 car since she has the points for it now
I want Alpine to ACTUALLY put Abbi Pulling in their Academy and Aston Martin to put Jessica Hawkins in theirs
I want RBR to be forced to take on a female driver in their academy
I want all these men that like to talk about how much they wouldn't mind a female driver or a LGBT driver to admit that it's easy to talk but hard to act
I don't care if W Series goes back to partnering DTM (I actually think it might be a better fit right now) (though I want it FE cause it makes more sense) I just want it to succeed
I am so sick and tired of how fucking naive it all is and how it feels like the FIA / F1 has bottled W Series on purpose and how nothing seems to change
wrote possibly the last bit of newspaper coverage the W Series will get, about how its demise far too closely followed the reticence people have about women's careers in motorsport - please give it a click cus having numbers on stuff about women's sport matters a huge amount to future coverage, even if you don't like me
Every week, we talk about which drivers are pay drivers, but what we haven't discussed is which drivers are personality hires. Like can your fave drive or are they just really attractive? Can your fave drive or are they just a funny little guy (gender-neutral). Can your fave drive or are do they just have immaculate vibes?
Lewis, once on the path of the Jedi and now in the midst of the Galactic Empire, learns of the chance to save ancient Jedi texts. Max, a stormtrooper, becomes smuggler Daniel Ricciardo's copilot. They too pursue the Jedi texts—with the hope of selling them to the Empire.
Their stories collide at the Jedi Temple on Genbara. As the danger of an Imperial Star Fleet looms large, Max, Daniel, Lewis, Seb, and Jamie have to figure out what matters most to them, what they owe to each other, and devise a plan for an unavoidable space battle with the Empire—a battle for their future and hopes.

I’ve previously had boyfriends. But I’m now in a relationship with a female and I’m very happy with my girlfriend, I’m in a happy relationship. It was just something I never in my head thought would ever be a possibility because I grew up thinking that being with a man is the right thing to do. So that’s what I did. It was only when I met Abbie, that I was like, ‘Oh, s**t, maybe this is…’ and it took a while for me to accept. Not that long. But I was worried for quite a while: ‘Oh, I can’t be with a female, that would mean I’m gay’. But once I’d accepted it, I realised that, really, who cares? And we’ve got figureheads in the sport, like Seb [Vettel, Aston Martin’s increasingly vocal ally], Lewis Hamilton [another supporter of all manner of social issues]. Seb is married, three kids, he’s not gay, and he’s sticking up for everyone.
kind of ironic that Formula 1 - the pinnacle of motorsports - is basically the only motorsports series that hasn’t managed to have a woman in a regular race seat and also is unable to keep a feeder series focused on female talent financed
but unlike some people, i do not think that putting even w series’ most outstanding drivers directly into a formula one car would benefit anyone.
w series has some of the most outdated technology in car racing right now. putting someone who is used to a car that barely functions at the level of anything in formula 3 into an f1 car is not only possibly dangerous, but could stand to put a driver completely out of their depth.
no one deserves to be thrown into the deep end like that. give them a chance to stretch their legs in a car that actually has an engine with over 270hp, which is 110 less than an f3 engine. give them a chance to use pirelli tires instead of hankook. give them equal equipment so they can fully grow and progress, as all drivers should.
these women are incredibly skilled. once given the same equipment and sponsorship opportunities as hundreds of men have been given before them — they can and will climb the feeder ladder quickly.
but the fact that they have climbed so far already, just to be knocked down again, is purely shameful. i pray that if nothing else changes, w series is set back on track for 2023.
we need to hold the major sponsors of single-seater racing accountable. we need to hold our drivers in the formula categories accountable.
women have moved so many stones to make motorsport better for everyone, and yet they are still treated as an afterthought.
