One major takeaway I have from The Boss And A Babe final episode is that ForceBook have some catching up to do to FirstKhaotung in the kissing department for Only Friends.

Neo and Force pulled a pretty good kiss off for the trailer, so I have faith that FB can, too. They just either need direction to encourage them or workshopping.

It has to be a little weird to deep kiss your same gender friend who you've known since kindergarten. Especially if you're straight, and we've established via interview that both the lads are at least bi, if not straight.

LBR here though — if I got paid the same salary or more that I'm getting paid as a lab tech (and I'm sure they're getting paid more than I am) to tongue kiss my bestie, you'd best believe I'd be putting MileApo effort into it. It's not that awkward. It's just mouths. I've tongue kissed people I've known for less than 10 minutes. I'm that slutty, so they can be too.

It's not like we're asking for dick touching. I've also accepted the fact that Peat's v v accurate dirty grind in Love In The Rain is probably the only one we're ever gonna get in a BL. That boy knows what he's doing on top of a man.

We got some pretty great stuff from Domundi in Bed Friend without being actually thoroughly explicit, so I have hope that Only Friends could go that route. Anything more so and poor Khaotung will spontaneously combust I fear. (We love that lad. He can't even kiss First without I guess what is his kissing version of the piss shivers.)

So let's hope that the major backwards steps that the kisses took in the final episode were due to direction versus acting ability.

- It makes me wonder about the album, is it the story if one relationship? Or a Midnights kinda thing where it's about different moments throughout his life?

- The chorus especially feels how it feels to work on a show - I don't know how else to describe it, and 'it just hurts cuz I want it'

Real Super Dark

- The link from the end of Starf*cker is cool

- Going from 'it's been a pleasure, its nice to meet you' to 'everyone's freaking me out' is a very cool contrast

Funeral Grey

- It's funky fun, it feels like Double Dare grown up, I love it

- The spelling makes me ask if the woman he's talking to is British, and I also think we need to focus more on the fact her FAVOURITE COLOUR is fucking GREY???

- Awsten's flirting techniques being 'what's your favourite colour' 'smoking is carcinogenic' 'fuck me' is hilarious to me

Brainwashed

- I was obsessed the minute this came out

- I love playing this on bass, the timing is really nice and I like playing with the dynamics between the verse and chorus

- Falling fast for someone like that sounds terrifying, can't relate but I love the concept

- The next time I go out with my two besties the guy I've had a crush on twice is also meant to be there and something about that feels perfect for this song even though we're friends now and I literally invited him

- The synth sounds liked Glitter Times!!!

- I like this because even if I don't get like this about romance, 'it didn't work and I feel like shit. Wake up tomorrow and try again' is very much applicable to me. Shit sucks, things don't magically get better overnight, but fuck it we keep going.

- I don't know what to say, it's a good song

- I think we're all guilty of self sabotaging behaviour to some degree but it's very interesting to hear someone else describe their experiences with it

- something about it is reminiscent of the music I loved as a child - I've been into alternative music since I was born, and I can't quite place what it is but there's a nostalgia to it for me

- it's the equivalent of Tantrum orr Turbulent I guess but it feels so different

- the reference to Lemonade >>>>

Fuck About It

- The contrast between Ritual talking about his trauma and how he feels he's being taken advantage of, then Fuck About It being about a relationship where its just about sex because the other party doesn't want to communicate with him (and then that in contrast to Self Sabotage where its him who keeps trying to push her away)

- It's a fun song but as usual, I am left wanting to give Awsten a hug and stroke his hair like he's a cat if I think about the lyrics too long

Closer

- This ripped my heart out

- 'I feel love a different way' as someone who's a-spec that hit me hard.

- I have been here I have felt this

- 2000's pop punk vibes, reminiscent of All Time Low (I do not support ATL🖕) - reminds me of listening to Last Young Renegade on my sunset walks during lockdown

- The quiet, almost whispered final chorus!!!

A Night Out On Earth

and then! then you meet someone who does understand you. who does get it. and you fucking hate him. he is the most callous, selfish, insufferable asshole you’ve ever met but he fucking understands you better than anyone else ever has and you hate it. you hate that you see yourself in him because you don’t want to be like that anymore. you’ve grown, you’ve changed, is that really who you are? or who you were? because underneath all of that cruelness, you hold similar ideas about the world, but where you’ve started to look up and see the good in that world, he’s firmly stuck in the opposite direction.

this is what you could have become, and you realize it’s not what you want to be.

for a game from 2007 with no explicit rep, twewy sure is queer as hell. one of the main characters is heavily gay-coded and literally every other mc can easily be read as queer in some way, from rhyme being referred to as “gender non-specific or something in the middle” during an interview, beat having a deadname and being considered a disappointment to his family, shiki’s insecurity manifesting in her inhabiting a body that literally isn’t hers, neku... okay, i actually can’t explain why he comes across so strongly as bi, but he does. and i think that’s all really, really cool.

also the fact that joshua’s character still holds up, even in 2022, is pretty fucking incredible. like, "gay-coded villain who constantly hits on the main character” is just straight-up a homophobic trope, but he’s not a homophobic caricature somehow. despite being very enigmatic, his character is handled with the same respect as everyone else’s and, importantly, he’s never portrayed as creepy or predatory. not even when we find out that he is the villain and he did kill neku.

idk. i guess i’m just glad that i can still enjoy twewy in 2022 without a blatant homophobic elephant in the room knocking shit over.

quick dynamite watch rundown

im glad that mox hasnt forgotten about lee moriarty being on the BCC shortlist, even if seemingly everybody else has. he's been so busy being away for work and he's been stepping in to help out his son(s) (im not forgetting shooter here) wherever he can, but claudio's really stepped in for much of the parenting. regal's distracted playing hard to get towards mjf. we all know what bryan's been up to. despite this dysfunctional polycule, moxley STILL wants to expand the family desperately so he's baiting lee moriarty to prove himself.

the elite vignette HURTS and i think we should stop referring to AEW and start calling it AW instead. i have little hope for them returning before Full Gear.

i LOVE lee moriarty's green hair and his neon green shorts, but i would like it better if the colours matched. god i love watching him wrestle though.

the acclaimed birthday bash is absolutely 5/5, best thing in the world. i love max casters silly little outfit i love his shorts. i love that they give billy foam fingers so he can still scissor, even though they tear immediately. i love the love they have for the fans in the audience. i love the fucking ADOPTION PAPERS. i love the risky DX reunion shoutout. i love that they never give billy gunn the mic. i love that his sons-by-blood get offended. i am kinda sad there wasn't more body horror, or sneaky swerve doing more fucked up shit to daddy ass, but i guess halloween is over :/

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ three months have passed since you met Sua and Yoona, and things have become very close, while you three were planning something you reached out to an old friend back in the human world, so one day you made the trip to the human realm and called your friend, Jessi to meet you at your house, once you met her the two of you talk for a while, you tell her everything from the exchange program last year, to your performance at Diavolo's birthday party, the trip to the celestial realm, and what you've been up to at the moment, and more, after about two hours Jessi then drags you outside and she winks at you and throws you a helmet at you while hopping on and as you put in on and hop on behind her you ask "where we going?" she puts her helmet back on turns to you as she turns it on "we're gonna go on a little ride, we haven't been on one in a while, I think you need one, just to clear your head"

During the ride you feel all your worries leave you, with the wind blowing by, your thoughts went with it, soon Jessi drives back to your place and as you, two head inside you sit her down and looks at her, where you tell her about Yoona and Sua and the idea the three of you came up with and offered her a place in it, she nods excitedly and claps "fuck yeah!!" you laugh at her excitement and text the other two that you found another person.

A week goes by and with the holy father and Diavolo's permission you bring both Jessi and Yoona to the devildom to promote the group, Diavolo was a big fan of this as it was perfect for what he had always wanted to do, to see people from all three realms coming together, Simeon and even Luke were excited for the group to debut, Solomon was a big help as he began teaching you and Jessi spells to defend yourselves, when you and the girls weren't working on the debut or being interviewed, you all hang out to get to know each other, which was fun, you all laughed, cried, gossiped and so much more together, once you girls debuted everyone in the human realm, the dveildom and even the Celestial realm loved the four of you, you smiled at the fans while you performed on stage, happy to be one of the reasons that these people, the song "popstars" (or song of your choice) was a hit, one day you were all visiting Diavolo when you guys saw how well the song was doing the four of you cried while Diavolo called for a small celebration, just you four, him, Barbatos, Simeon, Luke and Solomon.

One day, when you were done with planning the next concept, Sua and Yoona were working on next the song while Jessi was asleep, so you decide to head out to town to stretch your legs, while on your walk you were texting Diavolo, telling him about your hometown till you hear your name being called, you turn around and see Mammon and Levi, you roll your eyes and try to continue walking till they caught up you, Levi catching his breath while Mammon starts to talk "what the hell mc, couldn't ya hear us yell?" you shake your head "maybe its because I didn't want to talk to you" Levi finally catches his breath "come on mc, look we're so-" "don't fucking say you're sorry, don't give me that bullshit, cause if I'm honest I don't give a fucking shit how sorry you are, I really don't, so go back to whatever hole you came from and stay there for good you vile assholes" you push past them as you walk off, leaving them in shock at your words.

Just as you thought your walk was ruined you then see Asmo you smiled at the sight of you, as he runs over to you you silently pray that he wasn't gonna try to mend things but sadly he dragged you to a clothes shop and began talking to you while showing you random outfits, as soon as he turned his back you dropped the clothes and walked off, not wanting to say anything to him, as you walked out you see Belphie and Satan who wanted to take you out to show how much they regret hurting you, even saying that it hurt them when you removed all their pacts except Beel's, you smiled at them sweetly "I'd rather be dead again than forgive any of you, and you can forget getting pacts with me again, you caused me pain, deal with the aftermath" you began walking back to Sua's.

Once you got there you saw Sua and Yoona who were done and as soon as you saw them you walked over to them and as you hugged them you started crying, Yoona sits you down while Sua heads off to the house of lamentation, while you cried Yoona held you and comforted you.

Sua marched to the house and banged on the door, Beel opened it and recognized her, Sua smiled softly at him while she gave him some food "go get your brothers in the lounge hun" he nodded, and once he showed her where the lounge was, he gathered his brothers, once they were all there Sua told Beel to go to his room before anyone could speak the smile faded "you have a fucking nerve to talk to mc after what happened last year, you say you love them, hold them close and even consider them family and the second g/n came along they were thrown away like a fucking disposable piece of trash, the fucking balls to do that them! how dare you think that you can just go up to them and act like nothing happened!!"

This went on for another three hours, after Sua was done she left the house, slamming the door behind her, on her way back she felt all the anger still there so she headed off to the palace, upon her arrival she looked at Diavolo who seemed confused at her sudden return "Sua, what do I owe the pleasure?" Sua bows before the prince and with a deep breath "I want to see her Diavolo, before her execution" thinking for a minute, Diavolo looks at Barbatos "take her to the dungeon if g/n tries anything do not hold back" "Of course my lord" Barbatos then takes Sua to the dark part of the castle, which was down below the elegant castle floors.

Once they got to the deepest part of the dark and grim dungeon, Sua sees g/n who barely looked alive, Barbatos walks outside to give them privacy, g/n sees Sua and rolls her eyes while Sua smirked "look who it is if it isn't g/n, the bitch that ruined two lives, I must say this place is too nice for you" g/n sits up and looks at the wall "what do you want Sua" Sua laughs as she crouches down, loving the fact the once sly, cunning and radiant g/n was now alone, a mess and miserable "to see you before you die, cause when your execution happens, I want my and mc's face to be the only thing you think about, while you're here rotting as you should be, mc is shining brighter than you ever will" Sua kept on bragging about how much better mc was doing till g/n was in near tears, hugging her knees, upon seeing this Sus stood up and smiled "good, now you know how mc felt while you replaced them, now you know how I feel after you stole everyone from me, have fun in here, cause if I were Diavolo, I would have executed you straight away" once she was done she left, not caring that g/n started to sob, in fact, she loved it, it was music to her ears.

When she left the palace and returned home she saw Yoona who was holding a sleeping mc, Sua walked over and Yoona sees her "where were you?" Sua walks over and covers mc with a blanket then sits down "I spoke to those fucking assholes, then I went to see g/n" Yoona nods before smiling at her "I'm sure mc would be happy you did that for them" "they deserve so much, it's unfair that the brothers think they can just act like things are ok like they didn't hurt mc, well Beel didn't so he's cool" the two then sat in silence, watching over mc as they slept peacefully for the first time in over a year, no nightmares, no cries, just blissful sleep.

In mc's dream, she was in a meadow, looking around till she sees Lilith who waved them over from some type of floating platform, mc smiled at their ancestor as they walk over to them, Lilith hovers over and as they arrive in front of mc she pulls off a dramatic stop, making them laugh.

Lilith smiled happily seeing mc laugh, she then pinches mc's cheek and begins cooing them as if she was their mother "look at you!! my little mc! so cute, so beautiful!!!" she hops off her little platform and while holding their hands Lilith guides them through the meadow, the two talking about almost anything, Lilith then stops and mc looks at her "mc, I'm so sorry for all the pain you went through, its all my fault" "Lilith-" "Mc, it is, my brothers, caused so much pain, but the way I saw how you act around them is what they deserve, they earned that, not Beel, bless his heart for being there for you, but the rest, especially Lucifer, shame on them, I hope they know how ashamed I am of them" you tear up at her words, Lilith then wipes your tears "I understand if a small part of you still loves them, if you want to forgive them or not is up to you, though if you ask me, you should just drop them, they way they treated you is not how you treat family" you smile at your ancestors words as she then takes your hand and takes you around the meadow again.

The dream continues with you two walk, catching up till you feel yourself waking up, you look at Lilith and give her a hug "good luck mc, know I'm very proud of you, every choice, every decision you make, I'll support you" as soon as you said that you woke up, feeling better than you ever did, you see Sua and Yoona and hug them both before going on with your day.

What do you think about all this lucy promo the show is doing? Because Im not worried about her being a LI, as much as I don't trust the writers I think they already assasinated buck's character enough during 5a, so I don't see him cheating. But I still would like for them to focus on the protagonists, I don't care about lucy, so why this massive promotion.

Sorry I'm going to be a "middle of the road" person again, I can't help it.

On the practical side of things, 911 is not doing promo for the 911 fans per se, they are doing promo to entice new viewers, and to entice casual, general audience viewers. So, a new character gets the promo for the hype. Now, why only Lucy is getting the hype and not Greenway? I have a couple of guesses, one being that she's around longer/more/has a larger role because she's here as a foil for Buck and to shine a light on some stuff for him (bless you @stagefoureddiediaz and your post about name meanings), another being that the show has several hot leading men, and they want to promo another attractive female being on the show to draw in viewers, and finally, the actress is (apparently) at least somewhat well known from other things, and doing promo for her is a great way to draw fans of her into 911 and gain new viewers. Promo is ALL about creating buzz, and the stills they released are targeted towards creating the most buzz from the widest range of people, and intriguing new viewers into watching.

This doesn't always end up being great for fandom fans because I literally could not care one single iota about this new character we know next to nothing about who is going to be taking up screen time with Buck after a half season of him languishing in that miserable relationship and not really getting lots of scenes with his normal scene partners (something apparently a lot of the cast were struggling with during 5a as the whole team is fractured). I just want stills of the characters I know and love because they are the ones I want information about!

So, on the less practical, "think of the worst case scenario so you'll be pleasantly surprised instead of disappointed" side of things, I get people being at least a little trepidatious about all of this because we literally just suffered through 5a's pointless focus on the reporter for scenes that we didn't need. And already, I'm hearing people saying that of course Lucy isn't here as a love interest, she's her own person with her own arc or hoping she has her own story outside of being "just a love interest" and it's like...did you all learn nothing from Ghost Stories?! Past is Prologue?! She is currently here to serve a purpose very must like Lena did for Eddie (the season 3 mirroring is very loud) but if people keep it up, we're going to end up right back here again. 🤷‍♀️

The other thing a lot of people seem concerned about/annoyed about people being concerned about, is her being a love interest and Buck cheating because "he would never do that". And besties...*sigh* I wholeheartedly agree with that sentiment, Evan Buckely as we know him would never. And 911 isn't in the habit of just totally throwing out years of character development so I'm not like, irrationally worried. But.

Evan Buckely is not a person, he's a character. And therefore his actions are subject to the whim of the writers. Because honestly? I can't imagine Evan "loyalty streak a mile wide" Buckely would have any desire to continue to pursue a woman who flat out told him she fought to the point of involving lawyers to air that footage of Bobby. Everyone knew Bobby didn't want to give an interview for her, and when she realized Bobby could no longer say "no" to an interview, and in fact was so incapacitated he had no idea an interview was even being conducted or filmed, she pressed forward to get information out of him instead of immediately calling and informing someone that multiple, compromised firefighters were currently driving a firetruck through the streets of LA and responding to a medical emergency. Like, I know that scene is played for laughs and it IS funny! One of my favorite scenes because it's not real so it's just silly fun, but it's something to think about. If Chim had been dosed as well? If he saw that lady with the shoe in her face and panicked and pulled it out causing more damage? If the driver of the firetruck was dosed and crashed? There could have been some serious lawsuits and repercussions to that event because the one person who knew what was going on made the choice to actively NOT tell anyone in order to exploit someone else specifically to get ahead at her job and get herself on tv. 😤😤😤 Every time I think about her actions I am filled with righteous fury.

Sorry, I digress. The point is, Buck knew all this. He knew by the end of 2x06 what kind of person the reporter was, and she is the antithesis of everything he strives to be in life. There is no world in which him continuing to pursue her, to the point of bringing her around Bobby and Athena specifically, makes any sense. I get where we are right now, and we are going to see Buck learning some lessons, but literally any rando women probably could have worked. Now, there's always the theory that the brought her back specifically because people already didn't like her and they wouldn't have to worry about too many people latching on to her character because she wasn't sticking around for that long (though it's definitely already been TOO LONG at this point). And that can be backed up by how every interaction with her and Buck in season 4 reinforces how much they do not trust each other and are not on the same page about anything (she even says they make a bad team!), and don't work. But then again, all that made a lot of us believe she was here just to be a friend for Buck and everyone got hyped about it, and then we all had the gall to make shocked Pikachu faces when they had her kiss Buck, right on the heels of one of THEE most romantic coded Buddie scenes ever.

So you know what? I get why people are a little more cautious and a little worried about this new character. It's NOT in character for Buck to cheat, and it's not in character and doesn't make narrative sense from where we are sitting right now for him to move on to a new relationship immediately after breaking up with Taylor. But. Given that we are just barely on the cusp of Buck having his breakdown? Once Maddie and Chim and Eddie are back where they belong and he's helped as much as he can and has been pushing back his own needs and emotions for so long and might finally have the space to face them? The writers could absolutely make a plausible reasoning for Buck to do some wild "out of character" things. I don't think they will, but then again, I didn't think they'd take the emotional beat of Eddie being shot in front of Buck and make us watch Taylor of all people being the only one to see and attempt to comfort him in the immediate aftermath, or have him start a relationship with her, or have her and literally no one from the 118 be at Eddie's welcome home party, so 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

If costars!clexa we're together and tried to hide it they would be so many fan accounts of their relationship and theories. And seriously it's so obvious because you can literally see the sexual tension between them. There are also a lot of close calls for them, like when Clarke's hand was just a little too low on the small of lexa's back, or when lexa was just straight up staring at Clarke's boobs. But the worst was when Clarke had lexa pinned against a wall in a bar while they were making out and somehow a picture was taken but thanks to the darkness people couldn't be sure it was them

At some point they aren't actively trying to hide their relationship while at the same time not not trying to hide and their fans just eat that shit up because its so obvious and yet both Lexa and Clarke keep dancing around the question while still teasing the fans - at a con a fan asks Lexa who was the best kisser of all of her co-stars and answers with a shrug "Clarke, I guess" like she doesn't now that will fuel the fans for weeks!

(and while fans are writing dissertations about why they /are/ together and have been for the past 4 years, gossip sites are still calling them besties and gal pals every time they are seen together, something that's 10x funnier since they are both out and proud)

Clarke is definitely the PDA monster! Lexa is very good at pretending she didn't wish she was holding Clarke's hand 24/7, although not so good at not staring at her cleavage (if she can't hold her gfs hand at least she can stare at her boobs a little, as a treat) but Clarke just can't not have her hand on Lexa's lower back, and it DEFINITELY travels a little lower than it should more than once.

They are probably already a little drunk when the "bar incident" happens so when they see the picture online it's a complete 'oh shit' moment. They wait a little bit, just to see what people make of it but when finally one of Clarke's fan sites "confirms" its not them since Clarke was supposed to be filming a movie on the other side of the country at that time they realize they don't have to make the relationship public just yet.

Sexual tension and small touches aside, what keeps the fans going is the looks. Clarke on the red carpet being interviewed when Lexa walks by behind her and they lock eyes for just a second and Clarke immediately forgets what she was answering. In cast q&a's they'll always be sited next to each other and when before they barely spared each other a look now Lexa cannot take her eyes away from Clarke as she passionately talks about the movie and her character. No matter what there's always so much love and tenderness in the way they look at each other that it becomes a thing in the fandom to catch the moments where they look at each other completely hypnotized.

May I also suggest: one of them presenting an award category and the other winning it.

Clarke yelling Lexa's name when she opens the envelope and spinning Lexa around the moment they get backstage. It's Lexa's first nomination AND her first award and even with all of Lexa's confidence in her craft she was sure she would not win it that Clarke wants to yell I told you so after she yells her name.

Lexa chocking back tears because Clarke has been dreaming of this award for so long and she's the one who gets to announce her win and she keeps reaching for Clarke's hand and brushing it ever so slightly, waiting for Clarke to be congratulated by everyone outside the stage before she can throw herself at her and tell her how proud she is of her.

At long last... Here I am posting the final two readings... Again really late at night but... That's life...

Anyways... Let's get right to it! Here are the readings for my same age friends, the 94 liners...

Jung Hoseok:

Personality: This might be someone who comes into Hobi's life initially as a friend or a friend of a friend. This is definitely someone with a lot of friends herself and he might meet her surrounded by other women... Maybe in a work environment... Like backstage or in a dressing room... Hair and makeup or preparation for a performance or interview... Yeah for some reason this is what's coming through here. There are a lot of other girls there but she catches his eye... I think she's possibly quite a bit younger than him... Though not ridiculously younger. She definitely looks young and has a youthful kind of energy... Though I don't think she's immature or silly, she might sometimes be impulsive or rash... Only because she's pretty passionate about standing up for herself and others and making her mark. This is someone who might sometimes work in the shadows... Maybe she's a reporter or something along those lines... I just feel like there's an element of subterfuge to what she does... The Thief card and Vampire are making me think of those old timey detectives and private investigators and reporters in black and white films so I think there's something there... With scribe and warrior coming out... Along with victim and rescuer... I think this is someone who knows the pen is mightier than the sword and wields that power in both an offensive and defensive way. I definitely think she has a kind of sharp tongued edginess and wit. She might seem like a dangerous or difficult woman to get close to in some way... I definitely think you want her on your side and not against you... Still, I do also see some softheartedness... A little girlish innocence in romance... and a love for animals and nature...

Relationship: Hmmm... Well first of all, I think it's important to point out that there is a lot of love and emotion in this marriage. Look, the cup of love in overflowing. However... It does look at this point like there will be some strain and anxiety related to their careers... Especially regarding being separated a lot by travel and / or workload... Perhaps aspects of one person's career causes the other a lot of upset and worry... Jealousy... Sleepless nights... There is a sense of instability here... Like the state of their relationship is constantly changing... That there is a need to seriously work on it and build it on stable foundations but there's just not enough time before someone is off again being busy with work... I also see that their relationship progresses very quickly... They might get married very soon after they get together so there's just not been enough time to build that strong foundation of trust, loyalty and security before they're married and it's like they just kinda expect that security to be there because of the wedding. As long as there's love though, and there definitely is, these issues can be resolved with dedication and effort. I also want to stress as always that this is just a potential future based on the path he's currently on. A lot can change in a short space of time. Hobi's birthday is coming up... Let's wish him good fortune in life and love. 💜

Kim Namjoon:

Personality: Another one I wanna be besties with... I think she is very likely to work in the music industry... Either as an artist herself or as a song writer. If she's an artist, she's probably the singer / songwriter type... Probably has a kind of earthy, natural, folky kind of style. Someone who likes to tell real stories with their lyrics and music. Also someone with a head for imagination, fantasy and whimsy... A romantic who loves nature, art and music. It's interesting that I see both a lot of maturity and maternal instincts here and also a lot of childlike optimism and a desire to live life joyfully. I think she can take charge, organise and lead really well but she can also often be the 'baby' being lead... (ok...😳). I definitely think she's a little younger so maybe that plays into it... Like she knows how to act cute to best effect 😉. Probably has a secret sexy side too... I think she probably actually has a somewhat mysterious, sexy look or vibe... Something about her is thought of as sexy anyway even though she also seems kinda innocent in personality and image too.... Cue us all trying to think who this could be as we go into the next section because...

Relationship: Unlike all the other readings I didn't see what their married relationship would be like... Instead the cards showed me them getting together... The lead up to their marriage... Why? Because at this point... It seems like this will happen pretty soon. This isn't the distant future for Namjoon. This is happening... Maybe this year (flashbacks to my birthday reading for him asdgjlgdafbklkhhj!). So, what am I seeing? A lot of hiding their relationship... Lying or avoiding speaking about it... Going out at night... Sneaking around... Sneaking away to be together in remote places... Perhaps different countries... They might get together pretty soon but there's a long period of successfully hiding this relationship. It feels like waiting... Like not being able to move forward just yet... Yet still, through it all, they will stay faithful and dedicated to each other because this is a true love match where they feel like they've found the one they can be their truest selves with. The one who makes them feel renewed everytime they're together. They're OK with the subterfuge because they see the light at the end of the tunnel where their relationship can be out in the sun instead of having only the moon as witness. Yeah... There might be a lot of witching hour Han River dates in Joon's future... But at the end of it all there's the big new start together as a couple that they've been waiting for. Namjoon might really be one of those idols that pulls that move on us... 'yeah so.. I've actually been dating for like 5 years and now we're getting married... Peace ✌️'. Before that... A lot of sneaking around. Luckily though, it seems like they don't get caught! Good for them! 👏🏼

So... This has been an interesting look at the potential futures these guys have lined up. I truly wish them all the best of luck throughout their lives... They're just such good guys who've brought so many people so much joy... I hope they all find the destiny that brings them the most happiness and fulfillment.

Now that my anger has calmed down.....

We got a season 2 renewal!!!

I can't say how happy I am about that. To get the renewal so soon after that wreck of an episode last night means everything! If we had to wait a whole month.....

Trusting the writers to fix what they broke is a whole other thing after that finale. But it can go two ways.

Either they completely decide to screw everyone over and have M&M be endgame (if Michael says 'I never look away' to Maria I will be completely done with it all) or they will test the waters with M&M and when they decide they've had enough, break them up and have Michael go back to Alex. I'm thinking scenario 2.

Now how should this all play out? It sucks that we even got a triangle to begin with and the fact that Michael said 'I never look away' and then ended up looking away to Alex's best friend no less brings my anger back from last night. The fact that Alex was sitting there waiting and wondering, looking at his watch, sad and alone while M&M was happening is not a visual I will forgive the writers for anytime soon. To top that, this ending made Carina happy if it ended there? That still puzzles me. Seriously, lady?? BUT what's done is done. Can't change the past. We can only hope that season 2 is not a terrible shitstorm like last night was.

So how can this all play out? Will Alex be waiting in the sidelines, depressed and upset, watching his best friend and true love across town being happy? I hope not! If they have M&M explore a relationship for half the season or even the whole season, then Alex deserves to move on as well. Do I still want Malex to be endgame? You betcha! But both sides to that relationship deserve happiness, not just Michael. If they can't have it with each other right now because one side has decided his happiness lies elsewhere, then Alex deserves the same treatment.

The last thing I want is for Alex to take that rejection as a sign and shoot his walls back up. He has done amazingly in terms of growth this season and I need his character to keep growing. The boy deserves so much happiness! So does Michael after all he's been through but because he chose Maria and because I dislike the triangle and how those M&M feelings came out of nowhere, he's not my focus right now.

Should a new relationship for Alex be with Kyle? I love that dynamic and I don't want anything to mess with that. Plus, in terms of where they are with each other, there is still so much healing that needs to be done. These two were probably best friends as kids. I love Kyle a lot but you can't fix that friendship overnight. Little by little, they've been making wonderful progress so I want that friendship to flourish next season and an added complication of a relationship won't exactly help. If Malex were completely done, I'd be gutted but I would change my tune on Kylex. But for now, let Alex be with someone new.

All of this is if they keep M&M together for half or most of the season. If it's a one or two episode storyline, then I don't want Alex getting involved with anyone else. But they put the effort to push this triangle so unfortunately, it doesn't seem likely that they will abandon M&M that easily or anytime soon.

Michael and Alex have been through so much in 13 episodes, together and apart. It's why we love their characters and storyline as much as we do because we feel for them and our hearts hurt seeing them tortured. Michael was always searching for a family, for a sense of belonging and when he found his mother, she was taken away in the most cruel and tragic way. But all these people around him see him as family too. They care for him from one degree to another. He's been through a lot on the show but he still has such a huge capacity to love.

For Alex, he started as an abused, scared, gay teenager terrified from his father's actions into choosing a life he never wanted for himself. Did he end up enjoying the Air Force? I think he did because like he said, it felt good winning battles. But at what cost? He put his life and happiness on hold for 10 years and lost his leg in battle. He's the definition of pain and suffering on the show but despite it all, he has always maintained this incredible kindness in his heart that is unmatched.

Alex started the season closed off and unsure and the journey he went through was beautiful to see. He found his inner strength, he faced his demons (Jesse) and he started forgiving those who had hurt him by seeing who they are now (Kyle). He finally reached a place where he wasn't terrified to open his heart to love again. That scene with Michael last episode? That was so pivotal to his storyline. He showed Michael how important he was to him, not just through actions, but through words. Words that have been lacking between them for so much of their history. He was willing to stay and die with him. He wouldn't have been able to have that moment with Michael at the start of the season. Where he was and where he ended up showed the biggest growth from all the characters in my mind. It was easily my favorite personal story arc of the season. Sucks how that growth got spat on last night but it doesn't take away from who Alex is now.

Do I want to see Malex be separated? No, I love them wholeheartedly. I haven't been this invested in a TV couple in a long time probably since Pacey and Joey back in the day. Oh, just a side note - Carina mentioned how she wants Michael to be the Joey Potter of Roswell. Giant No Thank You to that idea. As much as I love DC and PJ, the way Joey ping-ponged between him and Dawson was just ridiculous, never knowing who she wanted until literally the final episode of season 6. That is not what I want to see for Malex. Hope she changes her mind on that idea quick.

But anyway, with Michael choosing his version of a happy ending last night, then Alex certainly deserves the same. I hate that Michael chose Maria. I hate that he knew he and Alex were going to talk but he blew him off and went straight to Maria anyway. I hate that they kissed. I hate that Maria acted on her feelings knowing what Michael means to Alex. I hate that neither thought about Alex in that moment. I hate that he played the guitar in front of her. But if we're going to be forced through more M&M, then let Alex try to move on too.

I want Malex together, of course I do! But if Malex is endgame, and I think that they are, the writers are definitely not making the road easy for them or us. In the meantime, while I fast forward through whatever M&M scenes we're going to be getting, let Alex have some pleasure too. I want them to explore his family more, his mother, his heritage. Just give that boy some love and happiness please!

I love both Vlamis and Tyler equally but it shows how inexperienced Vlamis was with TV fandom. Tyler was a lot more reserved with his interviews - he'd been through it with PLL Haleb vs Spaleb. He expressed how he felt about Malex but that wasn't all he touched on. Vlamis (Oh how I still love him) was all Malex, Malex, Malex for weeks and then the shift in his tone was so obvious. He spoke about M&M a lot more towards the end. The powers that be advised or urged him to do so because everyone knew how the season was ending. But I still love him and of course I love Tyler. The Vlamburn bromance is everything.

I just want to add that Tyler's tweet today really helped heal my heart a bit. He's such a sweetheart for reaching out to the fans and trying to assure us. Knowing we have a season 2, I choose to believe him.

Sorry for the long post. I still hate how it all went down last night, how Alex was left alone and pining while M&M got together. I hate how both Alex and Maria were nothing but props for Michael's storyline. The finale felt rushed and I could probably pick only three things that I liked from the whole episode. Kyle, Liz and Max hugging in the desert and Rosa. I didn't even like that Malex scene in the trailer or Michael telling Isobel he loves Alex because of where it all went.

But now that we have a season 2, we have to look forward. I want to see filming pics and behind-the-scenes when they start planning the season. Hoping that M&M won't be depicted as some grand romance next season because seriously, what the hell? I hope that Alex can continue to grow and his friendship with Kyle grows even stronger. In the end though, I want Malex. I wanted them last night and I want them in the first episode of next season. That's obviously not realistic anymore so all I can hope is that they don't make Alex a sad, lonely, heartbroken 3rd party while they explore M&M being together. Because if they do, this fandom will seriously riot! And no more giving sacred Malex moments to Maria either. Please stop doing that. And flesh Maria's character out more next season too. Away from Michael, preferably, but more than being the bad best friend who hooks up with her besties soulmate. Like, honestly, come on. Girl's got such great potential.

In the meantime, I will bury myself in writing fanfic to tame my anger at that crap ending until season 2 🙂
