How often do you pause each day and either thank God for your many blessings, or pray for guidance? I'll be honest, it can be tough. So many things are on the schedule, boxes to be checked, meetings to attend, and challenges that just arise out of nowhere. When the steamroller of life seems ready to flatten you stop and remind yourself this, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." #galatians5v25 On the AppState campus we are extremely blessed by an amazing grounds crew who create these breathtaking landscapes and flower beds. Some of them seem to take on a life of their own. But here's the catch - we have to take time to notice. So, each day I make an attempt to get out of the office and take time for a short walk. Herein, am I afforded the chance to literally "walk in the Spirit" and soak in God's creation. But there are many days where there is no time to walk. But if we just pause and remember we are working for God and not unto men, we often find ourselves able to seek Him. Pray when you find yourself in these moments and you will find the day becomes a little brighter and things are more bearable. Remember, Satan wants nothing more than to keep you so busy that there is no time to think upon our Father, which is in Heaven.
