12. In what situation was your character the most calm they’ve ever been?

Likely, the first few dozen (or hundred) times he read... whatever his favorite book is. It'd have to be something he not only appreciated, but which made him feel good too- which means something that could calm him down no matter how agitated he gets. Whether that book would still work is, unfortunately, debatable now.

33. In the face of criticism, is your character defensive, self-deprecating, or willing to improve?

It depends on how he's feeling, and can vary wildly as a result. Most of the time he'd be incredibly receptive, but at his angriest he's be snappy and defensive, while when already self-pitying he'd be self-deprecating to an, honestly, worrying degree- unless someone managed to say just the wrong thing and pissed him off instead. I can only imagine most people would probably avoid criticizing him very strongly to begin with, just because of how volatile it could be.

41. Does your character feel that they deserve to have what they want, whether it be material or abstract, or do they feel they must earn it first?

It's hard to say, because I don't think Warlow can actually conceptualize wanting or aspiring towards anything but his maintained serenity. So, while it's not as if he doesn't actually want anything, short term or long term, it's simply not something he thinks about. Anything he could achieve or obtain now, he'll get now, and anything more abstract or aspirational... just isn't worth thinking about if he has to constantly focus so intently on his current wellbeing.

In terms of maintaining his temper, I think the active effort it takes for him to control himself means that he feels like he can't do anything but earn his peace of mind. But, if he could wake up tomorrow and never have to worry about his temper again, he'd definitely be grateful- I'm not sure if he'd go so far as to think he earned that kind of divine favor, but, after this much effort, I don't think he'd necessarily find himself undeserving, either.
