Another Wip Adoptable
This is probably my favorite idea and I started it as a freshman (back in 2020)
Summary: A war has been going on for decades between the ShadowWalkers and BloodFallen. No side appears to try and stop the war, but when a ShadowWalker is forced to swap sides due to betrayal the BloodFallen start winning battles under their command. Will they bring peace to the land or become outcasted and betrayed once more?
With that out the way, let's get to some world building.
The BloodFallen are a monarchy led nation with powers of both Blood and Light. They are the more advanced out of the two and with royals who actually give care about their citizens as well as taking in refugees of the war, they are the favorited to win the war. The Queen has both military and diplomatic experience and takes over for the King after his passing. Her children serve as nurses or on the battlefield with a few staying to help govern and deal out rations.
The ShadowWalkers were a democracy that fell into anarchy before an dictator took over and started the war. They have shadow and darkness based powers, however the dictator has banned the practice and anyone caught is to be executed. (I got nothing else to say.)
Our main character, Samuel (again names can be changed) was caught during battle using their powers and has ended up on enemy lines. They beg for their life to be spared, and the BloodFallen spare it only if she fights for them. It isn't long before Samuel proves themself and loyalty and is taken to the Queen. (That is where the plot ends currently)
Note: Both versions of the opener have different genders for Samuel so they have been edited to make Samuel NB for now. The choice is yours on gender and description
I have two introductions currently written (again from 2020) so I will post them below:
Opening 1:
The sounds of gunfire filled the air as a individual ran across the warzone, their dark green eyes filled their terror as a squad of troops, former warmates, begin to chase and shoot at the traitor hoping to be the one to kill them. Adrenaline pumping through their body as land mines are triggered and canons are fired. The troops had retreated but the traitor remained unaware until the ground below her disappeared as she fell into an enemy trench.
Opening 2:
The sounds of gunfire filled the air as Samuel carried their comrade across the warzone. They could feel their heart beating as enemy bombs struck the nearby ground. They wanted to give up and hide, wait until the battle was over. But they had to keep their comrad- friend alive, or they would truly be alone in the world again. They were so focused on getting their friend to safety that they didn't realize they were heading towards BloodFallen lines until four to five rifles were pointed at them. "Hands up where we can see them, you filthy shadow" A rapsy voice demanded. Samuel instantly rose their right arm but had slightly rose the right hand so their friend wouldn't fall onto the ground. "I come here seeking no trouble. Please take my friend! They are badly injured" Samuel could hear snickers from the trenches as they begged for mercy. "Please! I have nothing left to lose, just please save them!" The trench went quiet before a commander came out and took their friend into the trench. A large woman had grabbed Samuel and took them into an opposite opening, possibly a holding place for prisoners.

World War 3 Update 0.7 ports game to Unreal Engine 4.21, reworks VOIP, brings network optimizations & more
The Farm 51 has released a brand new update for its multiplayer military FPS, World War 3. Update 0.7 ports the game from Unreal Engine 4.19 to Unreal Engine 4.21 to take advantage of the Replication Graph. Theoretically, this will improve the game’s netcode and improve the visuals with physically accurate lighting.
Moreover, this new patch reworks VOIP. Players can now use the tilde ( ~ ) key for “push to talk and bask in the glory of the new VOIP system”. Moreover, there’s a cool radio-like effect on it and it really makes you want to roleplay a soldier.
The Farm 51 has also implemented a Challenge System, with daily challenges to complete, for which you’ll be earning cash and XP.
Lastly, the team has changes the vehicle HUDs with completely new ones. Both Customization and in-game HUDs will get a new look to make them more usable and just look better. A new Death Screen is also added thanks to this update.
As always, Steam will download this patch the next time you launch its client, and you can find its complete changelog below.

Changed reload hold time to change ammo type to 0.4s down from 1.0s,
Changed flashbang time to 7s to make them more useful,
ZUNI, FZ233, Hydra rockets – increased ammo capacity by one magazine, decreased blast radius and damage, increased BP price,
Reduced bounciness and friction when colliding with the environment and other objects for all vehicles,
Fixed acceleration, max speed and climbing for all vehicles,
Increased/adjusted HP and front, and side armor thickness (more info in updated menu stats),
Adjusted the blast radius curves damage on the edges for explosive ammunition,
Fixed 30 and 35mm AP issues,
Ajax – fixed suspension behaviour,
Attachment prices have been adjusted to better fit the progression system,
Added a new parameters to attachments: horizontal and vertical recoil (previously those were combined),
Attachment modifiers have been reworked to better reflect differences between individual attachments,
Weight difference between barrels of different lengths has been increased,
Weight difference between magazines of different capacity has been increased,
Added per barrel curves intended to alter the damage/distance relation,
Added different damage over distance for different barrel types,
Reduced mark radius – it should help with accidentally marking things you don’t want to,
Moved resupply packs to between capture points,
Added map marker to refill stations
[IMPROVEMENTS]
Added map rotation to the ending of the game,
Added distance and dot product relevance to character replication rate – should reduce tick rates of characters that are far away and closer to the edges of the screen,
Vastly improved vehicle hit registration by implementing a server-side history,
Added synchronization status on loading screen for debug purposes,
Added Vehicle Kill Assist (community suggestion),
Blocked barrels without front post on M4 ironsight,
New Equipment meshes for UGVs,
Clipping while prone vastly reduced (needs further testing),
Added smoke for damaged vehicles, now every vehicle except Mini UGV and Mini Drone will smoke when HP is critical,
Changed low shadow settings to remove glowing characters and vehicles in dark areas and improve their quality,
Network optimization – Claymore & Semtex C4,
Network optimization – action replicator,
Removed projectile distance check because it is checked inside Replication Graph itself,

Ostatnio pojawił się materiał pokazujący nowe możliwości dronów. Miniaturyzacja staje się faktem. Kompleks militarny zaciera ręce.
Drony wojskowe na usługach USA (m.in kupione przez Polskę tj. model bojowy Warmate.) są duże, zamaszyste i sterowane ze specialnych “kontenerów obsługowych” obsadzonych peronelem. Stosuje sie je do zwiadu ale z coraz wiekszym rozmachem do działań militarnych, jak np. w Pakistanie, Iraku, Libii i cholera wie gdzie jeszcze.
Przypomnę, że już w 2013 roku pisałem o miniaturyzacji dronów wykorzystywanych do inwigilowania. Szpiegowanie pod maskowaniem owadów- to dopiero inowacja. Sama jakośc tej miniaturyzacji w celach rozpoznania/inwgilowania robił wrażenie.

Obecnie drony nadają nowy kierunek działań prowadzonej nowoczesnej wojny i rozpoznania. Wojna w Syrii, czy nawet na Ukrainie pokazuje dobitnie stosowanie trego typu rozwiązań.
Ale jeżeli wyrzucić obsługę, zminiaturyzować gabaryty, dołożyć broń by sam był bronią, oddać pod kontrolę sztucznej ineligencji , a na koniec zamienić takie “zabawki” w rój i po prostu zaprogramować żywy cel dzięki technologi rozpoznawania twarzy (wykorzystując przy tym chociażby spoleczności internetowe jako bazy profilowe populacji) to czyż taka broń nie jest przerażająca?
Szaleństwo technologii staje sie faktem. A to tylko drony…
