My wonderful friend Haya is only 18 years old and trying to get her sick mother (a kidney failure patient) and the rest of her family evacuated from Gaza to Egypt. They barely survived an airstrike that blasted all the windows out of the house they were in when Israel attacked Deir Al-Balah last week and were displaced again 02/24/2024 and the situation is extremely desperate. Please if you can spare even the smallest amount to help them, it would mean the world to us!! ❤️🇵🇸❤️🇵🇸❤️🇵🇸

Tzp & Nick friendship
Their banter (from People, TeenVogue and GQ)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Tzp himself asked to sign that pic)
Tumblr media
"Nick and I still have really great conversations and still mess with each other." - Tzp
A fan met Tzp and he confirmed him and Nick still keep in touch
Tumblr media
Aneesh said they're friends and confirmed the cast still talks (mentioned that Nick texted about his schedule that same day)
Nick and Taylor were each other's support during filming
Matthew talked about how close they've been since absolute day one
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Side note on their personalities
Taylor is more open and active on social media
Nick is more reserved
Taylor wants to keep being friends with people he works with
Nick does the effort to connect and keep in touch (link, 4th pic)
+ If we don't see their interactions, remember they're both busy and living their personal lives (as much as we'd want it, not everything is about each other)
Since people have recently been doubting Taylor and Nick's friendship, I thought a summary of their bond was needed❤
(Touch the underlined words to go to the sources)
"It's over once we're contractually done. Never talking to this dude again. Ever." - Galitzine jokes.
"Yeah. Unless we have a sequel and I have to talk to him again." - Perez plays along.

head empty. just thinking about suguru teaching you how to skateboard.
"hold my hand! hold my hand!" you frantically scream as the board starts to roll on concrete road. he laughs at you and flashes you that sweet smile of his.
"relax, i'm here." and he holds your hand as he walks with you, slowly guiding the movement of the skateboard.
"don't let me go, i'm scared." you calmed down a little as you did your best to balance yourself.
"okay, i'm not going away." he chuckled again, and you think about how you're never going to get used to that laugh of his. it's sweet. it's teasing. but it's oh so loving.
"put your other foot down so that you can push the board- yes, that's it." he guides.
"you smilin? you're liking it now aren't you?" he quips.
"i- i think i'm getting used to it now…!" you lie, because actually, you just enjoy listening to him speak. and so he gets an idea.
he suddenly lets go of your hand and pushes behind you just fast enough so you can learn to skate on your own.
"wait! no- stop, i don't know how to-! suguru!!!!" he laughs again at your whines, until you both realize you're about to hit a post.
he grabs you by your waist and lifts you off the skateboard, turning your body so you can face him. you close your eyes and braced for impact, only to be met with his strong hold.
"suguru!" you flicked his forehead and scolded him.
"i'm sorry, i didn't see the post ahead of us."
"i told you to not let me go."
"but i am not letting you go, i'm holding you real tight right now." he smiles. and you scoff, feigning annoyance. but you can't do that for long, because who can resist his boyish charm?
"this isn't what i meant. next time, give me a proper lesson, will you?" you sigh in defeat.
"oh, you sweet little thing." he puts you down and kisses you lovingly, smirking into it when it caught you by surprise.
poor skateboard, you're now forgotten by the two lovers in front of you.

messages from Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono on the 40th anniversary in 1997 of the Woolton church fête where John and Paul first met
John, Paul & Me Before the Beatles: The True Story of the Very Early Days, Len Garry (2014)
text under the cut
A MESSAGE TO WOOLTON FROM PAUL MCCARTNEY
Ah yes, I remember it well.
I do, actually. My memory of meeting John for the first time is very clear. My mate Ivan Vaughn took me along to Woolton here and there were The Quarry Men, playing on a little platform.
I can still see John now - checked shirt and slightly curly hair, singing Come Go With Me by The Del Vikings. He didn't know all the words, so he was putting in stuff about penitentiaries - and making a good job of it.
I remember thinking 'He looks good - I wouldn't mind being in a group with him'.
A bit later on we met up; I played him Twenty Flight Rock and he seemed pretty impressed - maybe because I did know all the words.
Then, as you know, he asked me to join the group, and so began our trip together. We wrote our first songs together, we grew up together and we lived our lives together.
And when we'd do it together, something special would happen. There'd be that little magic spark.
I still remember his beery old breath when I met him here that day. But I soon came to love that beery old breath. And I loved John. I always was and still am a great fan of John's. We had a lot of fun together and I treasure all those beautiful memories.
So I sent you all in Woolton and Liddipool my best wishes today.
And thanks for remembering - there's no way that when we met here we had any idea of what we'd be starting. But I'm very proud of what we did. And I'm very glad that I did it with John.
I hope you all have a wonderful day and God bless all who sail in you.
PAUL MCCARTNEY
MESSAGE FROM YOKO ONO
What a sweet celebration!
Yes, the meeting of John and Paul was an important event not only for those of us who loved their songs, but for the whole world which went through a social change for the better as a result of their words and music.
John's first thought as Paul showed him what he could do was: "Okay - this guy is good and already the girls are flocking around him - not around me! So if I let him in, he'd going to be a tough one to handle - but I'll have a strong band."
So John took Paul in. I think this story is important in that it shows as a creator and a leader of the band, John went for getting a strong band rather than having an easy time. And John was only a teenager. What a brain! What a guy!
By the way, it's interesting that the meeting took place at a church. Also, the main bulk of their songs were recorded in Abbey Road Studios, in London. Am I the only one who thinks of these coincidences as interesting?
John and Paul were traveling minstrels, who spread the word of love throughout the world. Through their songs, they brought the energy of love to the then gray world, which was still coping with the aftermath of the second world war.
With their words and music, John and Paul showed the world that law and order was not necessarily the most important force in the world. Love was the power and the energy that could change the world. And it did.
But it all started at the Woolton Fete forty years ago. As you celebrate this day, the world joins you in your celebration. Those who cannot come physically to Liverpool join you in spirit. It's a nice day to celebrate and I thank you for doing it. Peace.

In all honestly, my ideal ending for iasip is a simple one. The gang would play Chardee Macdennis one last time, bringing back a beloved concept with lots of references to the show brought up in the trivia portion. It'd be fun and light. It'd give us one last glimpse into these characters' dynamics, playing a game they invented in their 20s now in their 50s. Still a gang, still together, in the bar of Paddy's on a slow day, passing the time with a game they invented out of boredom.
Maybe they'd invite some old friends to form new teams. Maybe we'd see Cricket, the Lawyer, the Waitress, the Waiter, the McPoyles, Artemis, Ponderosa, and Gail the Snail all join in on the fun. Surprisingly, everyone shows, probably because they have nothing better to do. Maybe Frank and Pondy would form a team. The Waitress, Artemis, and Gail would group up, bringing the Fridge-It Bitches back. Maybe we would finally learn the Waitress' name. We'd get to see each member of the gang at their best, deranged, manipulative, and evil as always. Charlie would probably fail a task because the Waitress made him nervous. Cricket would join forces with the McPoyles because they're the only ones not disgusted by Cricket. Their group would be really good at the pain and endurance portion. The Lawyer and the Waiter would form a team, bonding over the years of strife the gang had caused them. They would grow very frustrated at not understanding the rules of the game. They're the only group that is normal enough to find the whole thing preposterous, but for some reason they see it through.
The episode would wrap with Mac and Charlie finally beating Dennis and Dee after losing to them for 30 years. We'd close on the pair stomping on Dennis and Dee's dolls, victorious at last. Dennis and Dee would be sore losers, complaining that Mac and Charlie must have cheated. Frank would be celebrating with Mac and Charlie, telling them he was proud of them. Mac and Charlie would realize that perhaps Frank really had become a father figure to them. They would allow Frank to smash Dennis and Dee's dolls with them and Frank would be over the moon. We would pan out, through the front door of Paddy's, still able to hear the gang rejoicing and bickering, only now from a distance. The last thing we would see is Paddy's sign, old and decrepit as ever, never to change, as the gang's arguing begins to fade out, transitioning into the final end credit theme.

My aunt is very sensitive to strong scents (buys my deodorant so that we know it won't harm her, because other than a couple brands, they give her migraines, we don't have scented candles, and I have a couple of perfumes, but I never wear them), so we're super careful there, but we also can't go into some stores because the perfume counter is Right There. When we go shopping, she knows to look for me in the candle aisle because I'll stand there sniffing each candle and giving a review to whoever is with me at the time
