TW: drowning, large bodies of water, and pools

so. I went swimming yesterday with this youth group my friend (aileen) was in. tried swimming in the swallow pool and couldn't. somehow I got the idea of "if I see my friends swim than i can swim too" and I decided to join them in the deep pool. this is when this bad idea turn into a worse idea and bad situation because when i try to climb down to it the built-in ladder stopped at the chest point and that's when I realized that it was much more deeper than i expected but I tread forward and before I knew it I was fighting for my life in the water, trying to be Bouyant but I couldn't. my sight became white and blue, even dark blue at times. i was about to drown. but than one of the life-guards pull me by the arms up to the surface, i hold onto theirs and climb back on the tile flooring of outside the pool. i walk down to the medical chair with some escorting me to it,

when finally sated their ask me if i was okay and i said Yes and no to the glass of water. they told me to write down my name, address and phone no. I did the first but couldn't the remember the rest so i give them my personal email, the last thing they ask me was "is there anything you needed?" and I ask them about the swimming lessons, apparently they just $60 per session for a whole 12 weeks. after some time sitting and me refusing water, the leader of this youth group said they teach me to swim and after a while i sorta got the hang of it but still couldn't float. atleast it was fun being in the pool this time of year.
