The Book of Wisdom, after demonstrating how wisdom, the science of God, determines the destiny of men through its ethical laws, the book seeks to teach that wisdom is not a simple theoretical science, but that this wisdom has manifested itself in a very patent or evident way throughout the history of the Bible and the nation of Israel. The Book of Wisdom begins the account of the history of the Exodus by telling how God heard the cries of his people when they were slaves in Egypt, and so that miraculous wisdom gave the strength to the prophet Moses to go and free his people from the oppression they were suffering in Egypt. And so, with these words, the Book of Wisdom explains this truth: "The holy people and their blameless descendants—it was she who rescued them from the nation that oppressed them. She entered the soul of the Lord's servant, and withstood fearsome kings with signs and wonders" Wisdom 10:15-16. But then the book describes in a metaphorical way the hardness of Pharaoh's heart, and how this foolishness became a reason for mockery and ridicule, because when the last plague devastated Egypt, the death of the firstborn, the Egyptians were gladly stripped of their silver and gold objects by the Israelites, because the Egyptians wanted them to leave the country as quickly as possible, and so, this is what the Book of Wisdom expresses about this fact: "Therefore the righteous despoiled the wicked; and they sang of your holy name, Lord and praise in unison your conquering hand" Wisdom 10:20. And then when the Israelites crossed the Red Sea, they sang the song of Moses to celebrate God's blessing, and thus wisdom opened the mouths of many: "Because Wisdom opened the mouths of the mute, and gave ready speech to infants" Wisdom 10:21. Finally, the teaching concludes with a beautiful quote, wisdom blesses: "Wisdom prospered their works by the hand of a holy prophet" Wisdom 11:1.

The Only Faithful and True Witness
I have written it on tablets of stone And within the heart of man, and within The pages of My Book it is made plain; Thus they are without excuse...
For I am God alone, The Righteous One...
I alone am holy, just and good; I alone have divided right from wrong; I alone have established The Law and define what is sin; Behold, I expose the darkness and bring All hidden things into the light...
For I alone sit as Judge, The Only Faithful and True Witness...
Says The Lord.

Amplify Your Faith: The Power of Listening to God's Word
Tumblr media
Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
Christian Journey
In the spiritual journey of a Christian, one of the most vital yet often overlooked aspects is the art of listening to the word of the Lord. The passage from Colossians 3:16 reminds us that being a Christian isn't limited to the sporadic attendance of church services or the occasional upliftment we feel when we do so. True Christianity transcends mere physical presence in a place of worship; it is rooted in a profound relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ, acknowledging ourselves as His children, and earnestly following His divine will.
Relationship
It is all too easy for us to fall into the trap of complacency, assuming that our faith is sufficient merely because we attend church services regularly. However, as the Scripture teaches us, true Christianity goes beyond these outward rituals. It calls us to accept the Lord into our hearts, with an intimate bond with Him, and dedicate ourselves to walk in His righteous path. The key to this profound relationship lies in our willingness to listen. The verse encourages us to 'Keep on reading, listen with your heart, and be willing to follow what God is saying.' This entails a deep commitment to regularly engaging with the Word of God, not as a mere exercise but as a profound spiritual practice. Through the act of listening to God's Word, we open our hearts to His wisdom, His guidance, and His transformative power.
His Words
As we immerse ourselves in His Word, we find ourselves being shaped and refined by its divine wisdom. We are corrected when we err, instructed when we falter and strengthened when we are weak. God's Word is not bound by the limitations of human wisdom; it transcends our understanding, offering insights and guidance that can only be grasped through a heart attuned to Him. In a world teeming with distractions and noise, it can be challenging to truly listen to the voice of God. However, it is precisely in this act of deep listening that our faith finds its nourishment and our purpose becomes clear. By continually immersing ourselves in the Word of God, we equip ourselves to fulfill His purpose in our lives, to grow in faith, and to walk in His righteous ways.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the words of Colossians 3:16 serve as a poignant reminder of the profound importance of listening to the word of God. True Christianity is not defined by external rituals but by an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is a journey of continual listening, learning, and growing in faith. As we absorb His wisdom and guidance through His Word, we discover that God's words are indeed far beyond human wisdom, offering us a divine perspective that illuminates our path and strengthens our faith.
Remember these bible verses:
Colossians 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works. 2 Peter 3:18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. Read the full article

"Search Not in the World"
My grace descends upon all who repent in sincerity and in truth, and My spirit dwells within those who keep The Commandments and testify to My glory. Therefore, receive of Me; then will that which you seek become clear. For your heart’s true desire can not be found in the world… Seek God!
Again I say to you, search not in the world, For there you will not find Me; Nor seek Me in the churches of men, For there you will not find Me…
For I tell you the truth, The Kingdom of God is within you…
Says The Lord YahuShua.

The Book of Proverbs wisely explains to us what God abhors, that is, what is contrary to his providential plan: "He who justifies the wicked and he who condemns the righteous are both alike an abomination to the LORD" Proverbs 17:15. And the Sacred Scriptures are very clear, the Lord abominates, that is, he rejects without hatred, without passion, what is contrary to the ethical laws created by him. God's creation, that is, the cosmos, has an order and God cannot go against himself, God cannot go against his own wisdom. That is why God naturally rejects error and imperfection. And God's ethical laws are very precise: "For they sow the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind." Hosea 8:7, "Do not sow in the furrows of injustice, lest you harvest it sevenfold" Ben Sira 7:3. He who sows error necessarily reaps what is unpredictable, that is why he who sows error is tied to luck and not to correct planning, righteousness and sin are opposite paths that lead to different results, this is what the laws of God necessarily express. But as the taught proverb suggests, it can happen that the perversion be justified and the innocent condemned, and this happens when oppression is imposed in a society. The Bible teaches that these types of social schemes only tend to increase suffering and anguish and that they are contrary to the common sense that the fear of God (constancy, firmness, devotion) provides. God is wise and for this reason, the Lord teaches us to reject what is destructive, chaotic, and unjust.

#DailyDevotion The Message Of The Cross Is Foolish To The Word But God's Power To Save
Tumblr media
#DailyDevotion The Message Of The Cross Is Foolish To The Word But God's Power To Save 1 Cor. 1:18-25 18The message of the cross is something foolish to those who perish, but it is God's power to us who are saved. 19The Bible says: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise and defeat the intelligence of the intelligent.” 20Where is the wise man? Where is the Bible scholar? Where is the debater of our time? Hasn't God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21Since by God's wisdom the world by its wisdom didn't get to know God, God decided to use the foolishness of our preaching to save those who believe. What is this message of the cross that is foolish to those that perish but is God's power to us who are saved? The message of the cross is God became man through the seed of a humble virgin. He joined himself to mankind. This one, born of woman, bone of our born and flesh of our flesh, took our sins upon himself. He took our guilt upon himself. He took our shame upon himself. He took all our suffering, grief, our illnesses upon himself. Jesus then took our punishment upon himself and gave up the spirit entering death. The message of the cross is Jesus did this to save you from your fate, your punishment and eternal death. The message of the cross is God has accepted Jesus' death as the atonement and propitiation for your sin. The message of the cross is God now imputes Christ's righteousness to you freely when you believe Jesus has done this for you. Eternal life is a gift won for you by Jesus and offered to you freely through the Church. In this message God destroys the wisdom of the wise and defeats the intelligence of the intelligent. The world says there is no such thing as a free lunch. You either must redeem yourself or at the very least put your two cents. The wisdom of this world says matter is bad and spirit is good, yet God who is Spirit created this world very good and joined himself to it by taking on human flesh to save the world. The world says the finite cannot hold the infinite yet Jesus who is God is contained in a human body and even more so, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit make their home in the hearts of everyone who believes in Jesus. The “Bible Scholars” are no better than the world. They make many of the same arguments the world does. They teach you must do good works in order to be saved. They teach Jesus' death and resurrection are not enough. They may even teach Jesus isn't truly God or truly bodily resurrected on the third day. Some teach the bible isn't truly God's Word but has God's Word in some of it, but it is mostly a book written by men who erred in their writing. Ultimately they deny Jesus is God for you for he is really only a man or God who is wholly other than you who only appeared as a man. But it is only in Jesus who is truly God and truly Man, crucified, dead, buried, resurrected and ascended to the right hand of Glory for you so you can join him in his kingdom freely, as a gift, that you truly get to know God. It is in the mercy, kindness, grace, steadfast-love of God in Christ Jesus' work in the flesh we know the true nature of God. The foolishness of this free gift of God in Christ Jesus is the foolishness of our preaching that saves you. You don't have to do good works to please God in order to be saved or remain saved. Salvation is totally a free gift in Christ Jesus. Jesus alone is your salvation and standing before God. Only faith in him makes you pleasing to God. Consequently faith in Christ works the good works God wants you to do. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gift of Christ Jesus our Savior. Always give us your Holy Spirit that we may believe in him and proclaim the message of his cross. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Read the full article
