After Wolffe was injured, Plo took care for him with checking every dangers toward them. After striking down the slavery place it was wise for them to leave those place as fast as they can, but Wolffe was not in condition to move soon, so Plo got a watch around their hideout, like wolf watching their pack's safety. Plo had strong endurance thanks to his Kel-Dor biology, and Wolffe was slowly healing from his trauma for both of his body and mind.
One day, Plo woke up from his short sleep in late night. Wolffe was deeply sleeping, and Plo quietly left his side and walked to outside. When he looked around the wide and peaceful wasteland, Plo could see who he felt approaching to their hideout. They were not enemies, he could feel it. He could feel it, because she was one of the most Plo wanted to see again.

They just hugged for a long time. Sharing their feeling, grieving, guilt, delight, hope in their mind.
And Plo invited his guests to their hideout. And they just silently rested in there until morning, to not disturb Wolffe's resting.
Wolffe felt movements around him when he woke up from deep sleep, he alerted suddenly and woke up fast to look around any danger. But when he saw familiar face, he broke down again.

Wolffe never thought to see other brothers after Order, but Rex was there. Wolffe might cried for a little in his brother's arm, from the delight, and sadness, and little hope. Rex might too.
Ahsoka and Rex had found them because of the rumors, that one Kel-Dor destroyed slavery place with one metal arm and strange lightning, and left with one male human injured. They said it was lucky that they found them first, because there was a high chance for them to be tracked down by the Empire, since they ordered searching unit to hunt down Plo and Wolffe.
Wolffe: Wait, the search unit. Who are they...?
Rex: It's 104th, Wolffe. The Wolfpack! You really need to be careful, They are dangerous!
Wolffe: Of course they are. We trained them best.
Rex: Dank it Wolffe what have you done
And Ahsoka explained them with the Rebel's help, they will able to more safely travel and get more right treatment for their injury. Plo was proud of his little 'soka, because even in this dark time, she was still helping peoples and fighting for the right thing.
At the long time after the Order 66, Plo finally felt solid hope, seeing his children surviving and fighting with hope. He was never this thankful for his life to keep living.
Ahsoka: By the way, If you didn't choose the destination, how about you explore the strange signal from Dorin? Some Kel-Dor in Rebels felt those... Telepathic signal?
Plo: Dorin?
Ahsoka: Yes, and they said it was from Koon clan.
Plo: My clan??

SW werewolf AU
yep, welcome back to another hyper fixated rambling! this one is heavy on found family though so it might be a bit more bearable.
Okay I've decided to center the concept on Ghost crew and slap it in the modern world just for funsies, since that means I can restructure the politics and whatever.
First off, I've decided that the jedi are all werewolves (or cats maybe? Ahsoka gives me cat vibes but she hardcore needs to be part of the pack so ig that can be left up to debate). They live human lives but have their own culture and events and get-togethers or hunts and such when they get home ofc. very strong bonds between pack members. Instead of calling themselves "werewolves" (despite that being the most colloquial and widely accepted term) some of them like to say they are "wolf bloods" because I guess that sounds more sophisticated. Almost all packs originate from the largest one in Coruscant (not a planet, just a region or somn), which has lots of intricate dynamics since also the alpha beta omega hierarchy is a thing. the way I want it to happen though is that their designation in the pack doesn't mean rank; it translates more directly to what role they play. I know that's not how actual wolf packs hash it out but think of it this way: omegas are sent out to do the nitty gritty field work, like buying groceries. Betas are responsible for caring for the overall health of the pack, and will use those groceries to make dinner for everyone. Alphas delegate everything, so they gave the omegas the shopping list and also the credit card and made sure everyone made it home from school and work on time to eat. Pack members are typically acquired through birth, though on the occasion they absorb an outsider who might have been changed with a bite.
Since Anakin and Co. would be kinda side characters in this au (but also because he's my bestie and I had to indulge him), he and Padme are like. soulmates. you know the ones. from wattpad. it only makes sense. when she found out about Anakin being a wolf blood that was a Whole Thing but she was eventually adopted by the pack and she agreed to be bitten so now the little puppies (Luke and Leia) are running around causing chaos with their abnormal and powerful supernatural abilities.
I want to say all the supernatural stuff kinda floats around the world while most humans are totally blind to it. Like Ventress has to be a vampire or a banshee or something, Sheev is an annoying breed of warlock, and Zeb needs to be a Creature not sure what kind.
anyway Kanan wanders away from the Coruscant pack because he's having a midlife crisis and wants to find himself. Depa and Mace kind of just snort and wave him off. It's pretty standard practice for young alphas to do stuff like that. Most end up rejoining the pack, but some do start their own in a different territory. Kanan finds his way to Lothal where he buys a cute lil house with his so much money (Mace is screaming Rich and taught his grandson how to invest like a champ yessir). He starts tending the local bar and decides to integrate with the nice townspeople just for a fun lil side quest.
Enter Hera, stage left. She's the captain of the local police precinct and has been operating out of Lothal for a few years now. She transferred from the Ryloth sector. Her dad is the chief of stations there. Actually, Hera and Kanan met once when she was still a detective. He thinks it's a great coincidence that their paths converge again, though her tough, stubborn attitude towards him is cold and professional (it's mostly because she remembers how crazy and fun he was and she doesn't want to be distracted from work). They dance around each other, as they do. Kanan is in love before he fully realizes. Something, something, he knows she's human, knows he can't start a pack with her, facetimes Anakin to rant about it, gets laughed at, Padme eventually bombs the call and tells him to go for it bc after all look how she and Anakin turned out (something crashes in the background. There is yelling. Obi-wan chases a Leia who is laughing maniacally while Luke complains about not being able to focus on his homework). Along the way they mention the increase in hunter activity in the Lothal area, so be careful bout that. Kanan has a hard time figuring out whether Hera knows about the supernatural side of things (she doesn't), but if she does he's starting to suspect she'd side with the infamous mandalorian hunters. She told him a story bout monsters and needing to protect the town and stuff. He's not sure how to convince her that not all non-humans are off the rails bat-kriff insane when he JUST got off the phone with the Disaster Lineage Family as they were in the process of burning their house down (you'd think werewolves would be more careful about playing with fire). He decides to go it safe for now. He'll tell her when he's ready (lol loser). 
In the meantime, Zeb and Kanan meet. Zeb runs into him like at the grocery store and they kinda just glare at each other across the fruit aisle. Zeb sniffs obnoxiously a few times "what are ye?" He grumbles. Kanan is momentarily confused. He holds up a banana. "A smoothie guy?" Zeb's eyes narrow. "Ya smell like wet dog from here." (It's raining outside) Kanan gasps, offended. He sniffs his shirt, and all he gets is old spice deodorant (the one he knows hera likes). "I do not!"
Something, something, Zeb eventually places him as a wolf blood (he uses the preferred term, which gets him back on Kanan's good side). Zeb also reveals that he's… whatever he is, some kind of bestial not werewolf thing that can also shapeshift into a human for disguise. Maybe a yeti? a werebear? 👀 Weeeeeee! Anyway Zeb's a social worker at the group home where Ezra's staying atm.
"I've got this kid." He explains to Kanan. "Maybe you can check him out for me."
"What the—I'm not a babysitter."
"Just tell me if he's like you! It's not that hard, kriff. He's got no pack. That's important for you lot, isn't it?"
Kanan agrees to test Ezra somehow. Picks him up from school on Zeb's orders, takes him to get burgers at the local diner like classic spodermun energy, figures out that there's a wolf stalking Ezra (grand inquisitor) and they've had a few run-ins for the past few months. Like Ezra would never out and out say any of that but Kanan's smarter than he looks give him some credit. Also there are shifty red eyes in the flower bed across the street (Kanan's getting really protective now). In classic creepy creep fashion, they get into a car wreck on the way back through the woods. Something, something, Kanan's tires got slashed, the car tips, Kanan's hauling Ezra out by the time he wakes up, then like, runs off into the dark to chase what he's pretty sure is that prick stalker wolf because he's new to dad-ing and didn't think to not leave his kid alone. Grand inquisitor (he should really get an actual name. Maybe we can call him GI? GI Hoe?) Circles back to ezra and attacks him (poor guy) and bites him before Ezra konks out again. He wakes up in the morning like back at the house and everything is totally normal (Kanan really finessed his way out of that) Zeb is making waffles downstairs and school is in half an hour. He'd ask to skip but he feels great. Actually, there's no sign of any injuries (wolf bloods do heal fast ya know), as if the whole thing was one big dream. Except for the fact that he's having a mild sensory overload. Sight, sound, smell are all suddenly maxed out. You know.
Kanan actually brought Ezra back after the whole thing with GI Hoe in the woods (Kanan beat him up and got in the car and kept driving) then immediately dumped his car in the shop. So Zeb knows, but neither of them are totally sure that Ezra is a puppy yet so they decided to just keep a close eye on him until they know. Meanwhile Ezra's having a very weird day at school. He's not sure he can rant to any of his friends about what he's definitely sure happened last night because he has no evidence and anyway they've all got better things to focus on. Jai and Zare are stressing about midterms coming up, and Sabine keeps griping about an impromptu family reunion that's brought a bunch of really scary (in Ezra's opinion) relatives into town who have a mildly freakish obsession with hunting. Ezra's seen her basement. It's a kriffing armory down there.
Anyway classic Ezra trying to juggle all these crazy changes happening to him in the cliche textbook way except he doesn’t have a best friend guy in the chair sidekick to google obscure mythical articles about werewolves for him so he’s doing everything by himself (may or may not be skipping a few classes). Eventually Ezra runs into Kanan again. Probably because he shifted during a moonspell and ran around crazy and Kanan had to snatch him before Hera could shoot the kid. Kanan’s still got no idea how to parent so instead of calmly explaining stuff he just yells at ezra and tells him to be more careful. It doesn’t occur to Kanan that Ezra wasn’t born into a pack and has absolutely no kriffing idea what’s going on. Poor baby. Ezra figures out about Kanan “You’re a werewolf!” *cue more offended gasping* “where did you learn that slur?” “Oh my gOD you literally have fangs!” "what makes you think I'm not a vampire?" "Uh, you're not grossly pale?" "Not all vampires can be pale." "You also wear jeans" "kriff, that's true"
At first Ezra blames Kanan for all the crap he's now subjected to. He's scared and unsure and alone and looking for something to take it out on, and Kanan is convenient because he's just kinda there. But he gets defensive when Ezra confronts him "what do you mean my fault? Ain't got nothing to do with your problems, the kriff?" Ezra's shaking with all the rage trapped in his tiny body with his hands clenched into fists "yes it is! You're the one who bit me!" And Kanan's just dumbfounded and incredulous like first of all excuse you no I did not I was raised better than that holy kark. All pups are taught at a young age that it's very bad manners to Bite someone on a whim. And Kanan may be selfish but he'd never just dump the transformation on a kid with no warning. So then they're just both staring at each other like wait so then who bit Ezra and even GI Hoe denies it when they catch him and beat him up for answers like yeah he's bitten Ezra before but it wasn't The Bite so Kanan realizes that Ezra must have been born a wolf blood and the sudden appearance of a pack near his previously unoccupied home territory plus also him reaching the age where his powers start to get stronger must have triggered an awakening in his body or something. He would have manifested his wolf blood abilities much younger if his parents hadn't died and if he'd been incorporated into a large pack (he would have been so cute as a baby wolf but alas). 
On the one hand, it's reassuring to Ezra knowing there are other wolf bloods out there, but Kanan also was not looking for a pseudo son on his quest for self-discovery so he's being annoying and generally unhelpful about it. Of course, that attitude changes when GI Hoe starts to make his intentions known. He's already got a pack, which reflects the more traditional structure that we're familiar with reading about: very hierarchical, very antagonistic, glowing red eyes, often attacks humans or livestock for funsies. Tensions between inquisitors are high as always so they're constantly looking for new recruits (they kill each other all the time). He keeps trying to adopt Ezra for his ranks, sensing that Ezra could be a powerful asset. when Kanan discovers this, he goes full dad mode and claims Ezra as part of his fam. This leads to lots of confrontations with inquisitors and ultimately ends in the death of GI Hoe. Subsequently the pack is scattered and leaves Lothal territory. Auntie Soka visited from Coruscant to help with that part a bit because she wanted a vacation from spying on Sheev for Padme. She brings her mate Rex (not sure if to make him and the boys another kind of shapeshifter like dragons or just have them be Normal Guys) so they all have fun family bonding.
Kanan tells Ahsoka about how he's in love with Hera and what should he do about it and she is unimpressed with his drama "just bite her. I don't see what the problem is" he is aghast. He would never force something like that on Hera! Plus he's been dancing around the topic with her for a while and he's pretty sure she would hate him if she found out he was a wolf blood—doubly so if he made her into one against her will. Not that he's even told her they exist. As far as Hera's concerned, the mythical world is not reality. Ahsoka is still unimpressed.
Oh by the way Sabine's family are all hunters. Like wolf blood/vampire/faerie/dragon/troll/whatever else hunters which only makes sense if you think about it because they're mandalorians aka the mortal enemies of the jedi (all of whom are some kind of non-human in this AU). Sabine at her age has already learned all the skills and weapons she will need to kill Stuff, and has herself already made a few excellent plaques to adorn her room (after Ezra realizes he's a wolf blood, he starts to hate hanging out at her house. It lowkey gives him panic attacks, now that he knows what kind of wolf heads she's got mounted over her desk). She obviously doesn't talk about the mythical stuff with people outside her family, at least in specific detail. She only ever rants about their group "hunts" but never mentions what they're hunting in exact names. Boy would it be traumatic for her to realize her best friend is one of the beasts she's been trained to kill since she was small. Maximum angst if she shoots him once or twice in his wolf form and continually tracks him (lol poor guy) to the point that she considers him her trophy kill and is determined to get That One if it's the last thing she does. This makes Ezra very sad boi hours. He loves his friend but obviously he doesn't wanna die. One time Sabine almost got him (oh no!) Then Kanan stepped in at the last second and almost killed her before Ezra stopped him and yeah it's just all around a lot of violence weeeee. Hera really can't keep up with all these animal attack reports. 
When Sabine finds out she is furious and horrified and feels very betrayed and has lots of strong feelings but can't actually bring herself to kill Ezra after all because she loves her friend too and like so does her family he's over for dinner all the time and lowkey they were considering adopting him. What wins her over in the end is that he carries himself like a sad puppy all over the place which is both adorable and depressing. Her dad was also there when she found out so he gets her to keep quiet about it and not tell the rest of the Wrens yet because he knows it'd be signing poor Ezra's death sentence and he can't bear to think about that (Sabine's dad was always loyal to the family and supportive of their hunting but Ezra is Ezra and literally one of the fundamental laws of the universe is protect the baby). Eventually Sabine manages to turn her family because she's cool like that and convinces them to hunt only problematic creatures instead (cough cough palpacreep).
Somehow Maul exists. Another warlock maybe? I dunno he's annoying.
Kallus can just be human. He's probably a lieutenant who works for Hera. They're bros. They have coffee together. He doesn't get paid enough to deal with their shenanigans.
Things that need to happen in this AU:
Hera hits wolf Kanan with her car while on patrol. Horrified by having rammed an animal at country road speed, she springs into action, stuffing this larger than abnormally large wolf into her back seat and flicking the lights and siren on. When she gets to the animal hospital, the vet is out. It’s just Intern Ezra locking up the building. Hera is frantic. Thank goodness Ezra is still here! She needs his help! Ezra’s always willing to help an animal in distress, but when he sees it’s Kanan, he almost considers breaking his code. “You’ve got to be kidding me.” He deadpans. Kanan glares. Hera doesn’t understand what’s going on, and Ezra needs to keep face so he reluctantly helps her cart the wolf inside, where he takes some X-rays and does some busy-body nonsense in the back. He returns to an anxious Hera in the waiting room, who has pledged to pay any bill or charge in full. “Good news! It’s not as bad as it looks.” (Kanan has broken his leg in three places and cracked two ribs but Hera doesn’t need to know that) She is relieved and vows to return as soon as she can. Ezra goes and whacks Kanan upside the head. “You can change back now. She’s gone.” He throws an arm over his eyes and wheezes. “That kriffing hurt.” The next day, when Kanan sees Hera for some reason he’s wearing the usual leg brace under his sweatpants to hide that but something, something, his shirt rides up and she sees the bruising all down his side and her brain short circuits “How did that happen?” it takes all of Kanan’s willpower not to say “hit by a car”
Ahsoka eats a man
Luke and Leia make the national news
Palpatine gets impeached and also imprisoned in a fish bowl where he is forced to live out the rest of his miserable days stripped of magic
When Kanan begrudgingly agrees to teach Ezra the basics of wolf stuff they go out in the woods together and practice shifting. Hera sees them once and is delighted to find the wolf she ran down doing well “Hello again! Aww, your son is so cute!” (Ezra is thrilled to be called cute by nice police lady Hera)
The first time Hera brings Kanan home Chopper her cat goes apespit hissing and yowling and absolutely wrecking the furniture to get away. When it becomes apparent that Kanan is to be invited back multiple times, Chopper begins the series of attempted murders. Hera can’t puzzle out why her cat is more hostile than usual meanwhile Kanan is sweating buckets because every time he leaves his scent in Hera’s house it makes Chopper lose another brain cell
Zeb is mistaken for Bigfoot by some late-night hiker
Okadiah has just always known about Kanan and everyone. He just sits there chilling like he’s not really anything Special he’s a normal human but he knows and just sits there with popcorn and ice tea watching all this drama unfold

Have you got any thoughts or ideas about what a Star Wars/Teen Wolf fusion AU would be like?
Ironically enough, I have thought about that.
One of my favorite things to do with a show/book/movie that I like is create alternate scenarios for them to exist in. Not coffee shop AUs or anything like that, but to take said characters and drop them into an entirely different setting, with them being bound by the rules and such of that new setting.
So, for Star Wars, I would take these characters out of Beacon Hills and drop them in the Galaxy Far Far Away, just keeping the essence of who they are. No werewolves or druids or banshees. I would take them and mold them to fit this new landscape.
Scott, for example, I would have be a Jedi Knight. Formally, a student of Alan Deaton, a great Jedi Master. He'd wield a yellow lightsaber (to match his werewolf eyes) and be stationed at a small temple in the Outer Rim. Out there, he befriends Stiles, a local smuggler who sneaks around his father (as the planetary police) in his hunk of junk ship (Rosco) and shenanigans would ensue.
Allison would be a Mandalorian bounty hunter and Lydia some sort of politician (á la Padme in the Prequels or Leia in the Original Trilogy). Kira would be Force-sensitive, but not a Jedi. Maybe a Matukai, a Force-based group that emphasizes physical prowess in combat over the more esoteric nature of the Jedi. She might not have a lightsaber, but she definitely has a weapon imbued with the Force or a vibroblade of some kind.
Malia being one of the warriors of Dathomir (Legends continuity). She might not be one of the legendary witches of that planet, but she has their mindset. Maybe she's Stiles' co-pilot and considers him her bed partner/property.
Maybe Derek is a jedi as well, a Shistavanen Wolfman who wanders the Outer Rim like a lone samurai with his blue lightsaber before falling to the dark side for a while (his red eyes = his red lightsaber). He returns to the light but leaves the Order to sort himself out.
I could see Scott fighting Derek, after the loss of his lightsaber and purifying the crystal to make it white like Ahsoka, thus avoiding giving Scott a red lightsaber to match his Alpha status because of how red = dark in Star Wars.
The Alpha Pack being a group of Dark or Fallen Jedi led by a Miralukan Sith (Deucalian) and consisting of a Wookiee (Ennis), a Selonian (Kali), and two bond-twins (Ethan and Aiden). Maybe they want Derek to be a part of their group, like in the show. Maybe they're after an ancient Sith artifact (Nogitsune) that they can use to achieve their ends, but they must overcome a Dark-Side adept (Jennifer Blake) first.
I could make a whole story/trilogy out of that alone, with it ending on Scott taking on a padawan of his own - Liam.
But... y'know... I haven't thought a lot on the subject.

AU where Plo has a habit of handing out stickers to literally everyone.
Like, if you do something good, you get a sticker that says like “Owl-Standing!” with a picture of an owl or something cheesy like that.
Every single clone in the wolfpack as at least one sticker on their armor, some older ones have like ten, and the only one without any is Wolffe because he says he doesn’t deal with such childish things
(But in secret he has saved all of the stickers he’s received, and he’s proud of all 43 of them)
Ahsoka and Knox have an ongoing war of who can collect the most stickers until they become Jedi Knights
Nahdar doesn’t understand the meaning of them, and is just so confused every time his dad gives him one
Zatt has managed to get a few, and he has them on the hilt of his lightsaber
Shaak has a bunch, and she always gives Plo sticker sheets on any form of gift giving holiday, and he loves it
Kit receives at least fifteen every day, every single one heart based, and he’s just like “Wow, I thought I was the sappy husband”
Anakin has gotten one, and he wears it with pride (Meanwhile Ahsoka chills in the background with almost a hundred of them)
Luminara didn’t really get it at first, so she threw away the little cat sticker Plo had given her and he cried
(She apologized later, don’t you worry, and she made it up to him by giving him a cute little melon sticker that said “You’re one in a melon”)
What the stickers basically mean, is that when you get one Plo considers you a part of his family, which is why it’s a great honor to have one
But also because he’s a proud Dad

I would just like to suggest an AU where Qui-Gon lives and he confides in his close friend Plo Koon about the situation with Anakins mother and how he was unable to help her at the time, and Plo simply is like "Well, that's not going to do."
And the two get to Tatooine and manage to go free Shmi with a little bit of help from Padmé who was not about to let that woman live like that any longer, and Padmé also helps set up a nice house on Naboo for Shmi.
Anakin grows up with Obi-Wan as a big brother type figure in his life, has his mom, essentially has two dads now, and baby Ahsoka as his sister.
When the Clone Wars starts, Shmi essentially now has even more kids in the forms of the 501st and the Wolf Pack. They all call her Mom.
Qui-Gon and Shmi are not so secretly together. Could also be together with Plo in one of the healthiest and sweetest polys in the galaxy. That would also be cool.

Perfect AU head cannon:
When the Republic wins the war and all the clones are freed, they needed legal last names. So most of the just took their Jedi’s last name. So Cody is already Cody Kenobi, which Obi-Wan loves. And half of the 501st is Skywalker and the other half is Tano. This causes some problems because sometimes Obi-Wan calls Anakin by his last name and Rex also responds to it and they both turn around and Obi is like “well this is awkward” and Ahsoka just dies laughing. And the twins grow up thinking the 501st is all related to their dad and aunt.
Also, Plo would have legally adopted the entire Wolf Pack because technically they’re like 13 and now there are so many people with the last name Koon that it is pure chaos for legal documents.

Okay so this is the most general ask ever so I guess I’ll lay out the groundwork for you but overall y’all gotta start being more specific with asks because this is just asking me to lay out an entire AU which can take. Hours. No joke okay when I start an AU I START AN AU and it can take me HOURS to spell out exactly what happens cause it’s so comprehensive.
No problems with that I’m just saying that I’m not gonna lay out everything rn because that can take. So. Long. But I would love more specific questions when I get the groundwork laid out I honestly WANNA tell y’all about this it’s just. Hard. To write it all out.
So, in SW canon, the galaxy that the Republic is based out of, is flanked by two satellite galaxies that circle it. That means, these galaxies are caught in its gravitational pull and so they circle the republic, much like a moon does a planet. One of these galaxies is the Rishi Maze (and I think Kamino is in that maze?? Or maybe it’s a little closer but either way I know that some canon planets of interest are based in the Rishi Maze, so obviously it’s a place of significance) and the other one, I can’t remember if it has a canon name or not, but I know that the other one is slightly further away, and not considered a major point of interest in SW canon. This could be incorrect and a point of interest in books or comics, but the last time I checked the Wikias, it wasn’t very important.
Now. Why is this important enough for me to tell you? Well. Because that means, that in an AU where you want to put Earth close enough to the Republic that they didn’t even know that they’re technically a part of it (tho that part itself is arguable, it could be said that the original humans or Proto-humans that landed there were part of the Republic but now that their evolution and society is so advanced they could argue their own status as part of the Republic and stay independent) then you can say that Earth resides in this secondary satellite galaxy that is, unbeknownst to the Republic, the Milky Way Galaxy!!!!
So, if you ever wanna make Earth close enough that Jedi could stumble onto it, just remember, you totally can, without making it some random overlooked planet on the outside of the Outer Rim. Remember, basically everywhere in the main galaxy in SW has been explored and there’s no way in hell that with the advancement that Earth is at rn, that we would have missed a heightened about of space traffic in our own galaxy. Aka: it makes sense that they’re in a close satellite galaxy, but not in the Republic bounds themselves.
Now, with that backstory out of the way; an AU where Earth is basically hidden from the Republic at large because it’s basically one giant wellspring, nearly on par with Mortis itself. Mortis was a wellspring so all encompassing and vast that someone thought to hide it from the galaxy at large so no one could get a hold of the power that resides there. What if Earth was also nearly as powerful?
Well then, I would say that Earth would have an abundance of ‘magic’ on it. Werewolves and demons and portals from death to life (ghosts). I’d say that Earth, whether it had any force sensitives or not on it, would be a pretty fucking terrifying place to be on. So, it could be said that Teen Wolf taking place on this terrifying monster filled world, would honestly make so much sense.
Thats backstory for how you can get magic and science to blend together. Star Wars is just about the only series I would ever crossover with both magic series and science series alike, because as we all saw on Mortis, the Force itself is basically energy and mutation alike. Anything could develop on a world that’s a wellspring itself.
Now, in Teen Wolf (pre-season 4 mind you, I don’t give the slightest fuck what happened post season 3 and I barely liked season 3 at all, it was a mess and I’m just not going back to it) has something that sounds like a wellspring itself in it. The Nematon. But!! It also heavily implies that these Nematon’s are all over the world!!! So basically a planet that grows it’s own wellsprings!!!! That’s fucking cool!!!!
So. What happens to crossover these two fandoms? The same thing that happened to send the original proto-humans to Earth in the first place. They were just minding their own business being relocated by an alien race to another planet when theirs was in danger, when surprise, they hit some sort of weird hyperspace lane that sorta slingshots them right into another galaxy and on a new planet. A planet that happens to be a version of the force itself and lands them sorta safely.
So, for funsies: war is over, Palpatine dead af, our hero’s to be need to head home in the Republic, but whoops, they hit the same hyperspace lane and get slang shat all the way to Earth.
Not a full ship mind you. God that would be an epic explosion that could have killed half of America. But, as is, a small ship containing; Anakin, Obi-Wan, Ahsoka, Cody, Rex, Jesse, Kix, Fives, Echo (can you hear the sobbing? Cause I’m sobbing) and a few others probably but those are the main players I wanted to deal with, gets sent to Earth, to land right in Northern Cali in the middle of a forest. In werewolf territory.
Of course, most of them are okay. But two of them are. Not. At all. Okay. Rex and Cody are. Dying. Painfully.
And Kix doesn’t have the means from what’s left of the wreckage to save them rn.
Which is where Talia Hale comes in. (The Hales and Claudia Stilinski are all alive idgaf I’ll write what I want go away). Talia, has both the means and the want to save them.
Of course, first there’s a language barrier to get over, but she gets consent right from Rex and Cody, because even when it comes to medical procedures, I’m tired of the clones having basically no free will, and these two have the right to choose their own fate. She tells them she can change their DNA structure. They’ll still be them, but they’ll be healthy and alive and stronger than they ever were before.
Of course they’re gonna say yes. Why the fuck wouldn’t they? If this virus works on them, then it could also save COUNTLESS amounts of brothers that are wounded from the battlefield, wake up droves of them stuck in comas that might never open their eyes again otherwise. This could change so much more than just if they live or not. This could change the fate of their brothers as well.
So. They get the bite. And then they spend a couple days recovering in the basement of the Hale pack (with General Kenobi watching over them himself, and the rest of the brothers and Jedi making friends with the pack upstairs) recovering from the bite and becoming alive again.
Of course, Talia just wanted to help a bunch of aliens that landed in her backyard, what she REALLY didn’t expect, was for both of them to wake up with red eyes.

Ahsoka and the wolf pack Au
Being a co-commander was strange for Wolffe. Almost as strange as it was for men in a unit as small as the 104th to have two commanders.
One a seasoned and daunting brother, skilled, strict. The other a sweet approachable kid, easy-going, personable.
She was a child dragged out to a war zone before she was even finished with puberty. Lean and underdeveloped, barely 100 standard pounds soaking wet.
She as a jedi automatically outranked Wolffe on most things. Technically. On paper.
But General Plo-Koon had also put him in charge of her. Meaning that he did outrank her? Honestly, that wasn't very clear to anyone. Least of all Wolffe.
He just did his best to roll with the assignment. Drag the younling along with him and teach her what he could.
She didn't do much insisting on her rank anyways. Looking to him as a teacher instead.
It took weeks for her to give her first official order. Among the smoke and burn of an arid battlefield. Wolffe too far away to fall back on.
The men fell in line with her, albeit hesitantly. Pushing through the fire and driving the enemy back. This is her time to shine. To prove she's worthy of her rank.
With a good head on her shoulders and a kind smile Ahsoka quickly gains her place as Commander Kar'ta (heart).
She changed a lot over that first year. With Wolffe training her and her Jedi master guiding.
A year to the day after little 'soka was dropped onto a battlefield in front of him and his men, Commander Tano strides into the battlefield beside Commander Wolffe. Dotted with pieces of plastoid armor, leather guards, and weapons. Chains swinging from her lekk making an audible collision with the edges of the snarling wolf muzzle resporator cover her lower face.
She is no longer the sparse little youngling he was delivered. And the men are not confused about who and how to address their suppiriors.
She is toned in her limbs, lean in her core. Sharp eyes cut over sneering durasteel. sabers, a blaster, and a vibroblade swing when she walks adding to the sound of her stride. And there's a power in that.
The roll of her shoulders and width of her stance speak of authority. The weight of her stride and the muscles of her hands show power. The cadence of her voice and the strength of her gaze are experienced.
Red, just a touch darker than the corrie's color, bleeds down the front of both of their chest plates. Fangs stretch across both of their faces.
She is his Vod'ika, when the masks come off. And she is his Co-commander when there is work to be done.
Ahsoka is what she is trained to be.
A jedi, a bleeding heart, a compassionate and approachable leader, a beloved sister.
And also a soldier, a warrior, a commander, a wolf at heart.

lost lonely loth-wolf
It’s not just boredom that scratches at Anakin’s bones from the inside; it’s idleness. Under Darth Sidious’s care (for want of a better word), he must always make himself useful, be it training or killing. No waking moment should be wasted; he should spend every of them on bettering himself in combat and commanding. He must always convince his Master not to doubt his worth, lest he be cast back into slavery again. Idleness is but the short-lived quiet before storm.
Having nothing to do makes his old scars ache.
It borders on astonishing him how the Jedi can afford themselves so many luxuries. Music halls, corridor murals, gardens, so many gardens. Not that he has seen all of them; he only saw glimpses from under his hood, whenever Obi-Wan takes him by the hand and walks him through the Temple to get to the hangar, for their nightly trips in the park. He’s no stranger odious displays of wealth, but the Temple is not odious, and that is hardly wealth. Everything looks simple and… soothing, somehow. The Jedi seems not wealthy, but rich.
The thing they are the richest with, is books. Loads and loads of them, along with datatapes and datacards. Anakin hasn’t been to the Archives, but he has heard the apprentice (Ahsoka, she has a name) talking about it. There are datatapes in Obi-Wan’s quarters as well. Obi-Wan can often be found poring over his datapad with one of those tapes plugged in, quiet and serene and glowing at the edges, backlit by the late orange sun. There’s always a lock of hair falling over his forehead. Anakin can’t recall how many times he has had to stop himself from reaching over to brush it back in place.
“Anakin.” Obi-Wan’s voice stirs him out of his reverie. Their eyes meet, and Obi-Wan smiles a little. Anakin’s face heats up, which he promptly ignores. “What are you looking at?”
You, the true answer. Obi-Wan did tell him not to stare, though, so Anakin shrugs and drops his gaze to the glowing device on Obi-Wan’s lap. Obi-Wan, in turn, rests a warm hand on his shoulder.
“You can read anything on those shelves, you know.” He gestures towards the bookcase in the living room. “They’re all my favorite novels. The bottom shelf is younglings’ stories, and I still enjoy them greatly. Ahsoka leaves her comics lying around often, in which case you are perfectly in the right to read them as well. Force knows how many times I have told her to tidy—”
“I hate reading.”
Silence shatters upon them. Anakin scowls deeply, biting the inside of his cheeks. Books are written to corrupt you with lies. The majority of them are but garbage. There’s no need to busy yourself with those things, no need to wade through messy pages of drivels composed by Force-blind loudmouths, when your Master can dispense true wisdom to you. Your Master has great plans for you, so great that you needn’t burden your mind with trivia. So Anakin doesn’t read.
Nobody ever taught him to.
Obi-Wan gives a dismayed little “Oh.” Anakin rises to his feet and escapes to the fresher, as reluctant as he is to leave his warmed seat.
He shouldn’t have said that. At least not in that harsh manner. Night after night Anakin can’t sleep without seeing Obi-Wan’s face: his upturned brows, his downturned lips, his eyes wide in surprise. They never truly speak of it again, because that is how Obi-Wan is: if Anakin refuses something, Obi-Wan will simply let him be.
Obi-Wan leaves on a mission once more. Day after day Anakin passes by the bookcase in the living room, eyes sweeping over the datapads, fingers itching to pull one out - just to look at the pictures if there are any. He could now, right? There are no eyes looking over his shoulders anymore. No Master to sneer at him, call him a silly boy, and order him to go to meditate in the Sphere.
It takes Anakin another day to make up his mind. He picks a nice moment into the evening, after he has had his one meal of the day (the way he eats when he is alone), and crouches before the bookcase. He could have taken one of Ahsoka’s comics, but his eyes keep getting drawn towards the bottom shelf. Younglings’ stories, Obi-Wan said.
Anakin plucks out a datatape with a lilac casing, and takes the datapad left free for use on the other end of the shelf. He settles on the couch, something like excitement brewing in his belly as he plugs the tape into the datapad. The screen lights up in its familiar cyan glow. The cover page is a beautifully drawn illustration of a Loth-wolf under a great tree. He taps through the pages until he reaches the other illustrations. The Loth-wolf is depicted in various sceneries: in its den, between the trees, atop a boulder, under the starlight, and there never seems to be any other being around, beast or sentient. It feels wrong to him, so he keeps tapping to go through the pages. There has to be at least a scene where the Loth-wolf is with its pack, doesn’t it?
The main door slides open, and Anakin almost drops the datapad. He snaps his gaze up to find Obi-Wan staring back at him. Whatever expression Obi-Wan is wearing, Anakin can’t afford to study it for so long. He rises to his feet, fumbling to unplug the datatape from the device with just one hand and the Force.
“Oh, is this The Lonely Lost Loth-wolf?” Obi-Wan says with utter delight, his hand gently covering Anakin’s. “I hope you’ve been enjoying it, Anakin. This is one of my most-read books yet.”
“I…” Anakin struggles. He’s hot in the face and tongue-tied and his eyes flit over their nearly entwined hands in the bluish light from the screen. He dreads the moment Obi-Wan asks, I thought you didn’t like to read? - something he’s bound to do. Mockingly, maybe. The truth perches on the tip of Anakin’s tongue; what would Obi-Wan think of him if he says it? Even younglings a quarter of his age know how to read.
But Obi-Wan asks no such thing.
“What a strange coincidence; I’ve been meaning to reread this story,” the Jedi Master tells him with a gentle smile. “I would be loath to fight you for the datatape, though. I think we’ve had enough of fighting for a lifetime.” Humor twinkles in his eyes, and Anakin blinks, stumped. “So how about we share this?”
“Uh… Yes?” Anakin lets go of the datapad, now that Obi-Wan has a hold on it. “How?”
“Well, I would like to read to you, if that’s alright with you.” Obi-Wan squeezes his hand lightly. “I do prefer to take it from the beginning - it’s been a while since I read this last - unless you…”
“No,” Anakin says immediately. “I—Yes. Yes, I… want to hear it from the beginning.”
Obi-Wan changes into something soft, and insists Anakin settle in bed for comfort, just for the night. (To be truthful, Anakin would settle in bed with him every night if he could bring himself to.) It’s reminiscent of his first night here, only with a lot less blood and a lot more tenderness.
There was a time when Lothal was made of forests. There were more beasts than men, and among the beasts, the wolves were the strongest, wisest, most respected of them all. There were two Loth-wolf clans: the blue-eyed, and the golden-eyed. They did not always like each other. On the night the first daughter of the blue-eyed clan was born, the golden-eyed wolves hatched a plan…
Obi-Wan’s voice pours like velvet, smooth and warm with the occasional sparkles in his melodic lilts. Anakin’s eyes droop; he strains to open them as the kidnapped Loth-wolf princess begins her journey to travel back from the swamp land, to find her family and restore peace in the realm. At some point, he finds great, pooling-blue eyes looking down at him, and ashen fur with markings like the stars. A calloused hand runs through his hair.
The stars blink at him, and Anakin smiles as he drifts into the softest darkness.

Fic Summary: The Clone Wars have raged on for three years. With Dooku dead, the war’s end is finally within reach, and peace may come to the galaxy.
For Jedi Knight Padmé Naberrie, Senator Anakin Skywalker, and Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi, the world seems to have too many other plans to let it.

Chapter Summary: Obi-Wan and Anakin deal with the consequences of Padme's decision, Order 66 begins.
A/N: This is the chapter that went through the most revisions for me to be satisfied with it, in turn, it's also probably the one that had the most cut out. Regardless, enjoy~
(The fate of the Younglings is left purposefully unmentioned. I leave it in your hands to decide if they live or die.)
The battle was still going on around Obi-Wan. Even with Grievous dead in what would likely be the final battle of the Clone Wars, the battle droids still needed to be taken care of and the remaining Separatist leaders found. He made a note to check the computers to see if the systems had been wiped as he arrived back to the center of the fight, where the 212th stood.
"Sir." Cody gave him a salute.
"Get the troops to the higher levels."
Cody nodded to the command and turned around to leave, but stopped after a moment. "Sir, I think you'll be needing this." He reached into armor and pulled out Obi-Wan's lightsaber, which was a relief.
Obi-Wan grabbed it with a smile. "Thank you, Cody. Now, let's get a move on. We've got a battle to win." A war, actually, but there was no guarantee this would be the end quite yet. He pushed the Varactyl to start climbing up the wall to get to the upper floors. Hopefully, it wouldn't be long before he found everything he was looking for.
As they were climbing, there was a shift in the Force, and something was terribly wrong.
Before he could contemplate it further, try to figure out what was wrong, something hit the rock face next to him, and he and Boga lost grip of the rocky face of the cliff.
The droids wouldn't have had a chance to fire. The only thing that could have fired on him was the clones, his clones, his friends.
The betrayal of the clones was the only thought Obi-Wan had as he plunged into the watery depths below.

It was sudden all over the galaxy. The Jedi had been surrounded by clones, their trusted allies, their friends. Perhaps they had been on the ground, leading an assault on the forces as they charged on the Separatists on the ground, or maybe they were in the air, soaring shooting at the unnamed forces around them. Some weren't even fighting, some were sitting at a campfire, discussing their latest victory or finding a moment's respite from the fighting around them. But it did not matter where they were.
On the battlefield on Felucia, Jedi Knight Aayla Secura was marching with her clones when the Force changed behind her. She'd died thinking it was a droid who had managed to sneak into her lines, but it was her trusted commander Bly who'd pulled the trigger, gunning her down.
Plo Koon had been flying, taking aim at Separatists pilots when the Wolf Pack took aim and shot, sending the Kel Door's ship spiraling downward and into the ground, where he would die in the explosion moments later.
Depa Billaba and her Padawan, Caleb Dume, were both relaxing and trading battle stories with their clones when the call came. Caleb would make it out, his master sacrificing herself so that he might have a chance to live.
On a Star Destroyer hurtling through deep space, Ahsoka Tano had been racing to Coruscant with the renegade Sith Lord Maul, hoping to return to the Jedi to rejoin them and her master Padmé, to save Padmé from the plotting of Sidious, when the call had come. Her trusted commander and close friend, Rex, suddenly took aim, unable to stop himself from firing on his closest friend, only able to warn her and direct her where to look.
The Force sung in pain as thousands of Jedi met their fates.
There wasn't a soul with even an ounce of Force Sensitivity who couldn't feel it.

"Master Ani, I'm afraid that Padmé has gone to the Jedi Temple." Threepio's words echoed across the room alongside the baby's cries. He didn't want to hear them. He couldn't process them right. They had to be wrong.
Anakin was no stranger to fear. He was used to long stretches of time where he just didn't know what was going on with Padmé, whether she was alright, whether she was dead. It was a fact of war and when there was an extended period between calls he was always worried they wouldn't reunite once more.
None of those moments were anything compared to the one he was living in at this moment. Shortly after Padmé had fled his apartment, the Jedi Temple had caught fire, and he had been hit with such a terrible pain. Luke and Leia had been crying no matter what his efforts, and his head hurt more than he could ever imagine.
"Daddy's here, don't worry. It's going to be okay." He held the twins in his arms, attempting to soothe them despite the pain he was in himself.
Something was very wrong in the Force, and not just in the Force. Something was happening to the Jedi. Something awful. Something that nobody could predict. He wanted to run to the temple now, to find out what was wrong.
But he couldn't. The twins needed him more. He kept bouncing them up and down, trying to soothe them. He couldn't even try to figure out how to send them emotions through the Force to try to calm them, not when he knew it was the Force that had set all three of them off like this.
He just had to hope that even with all of this, she'd be okay. He couldn't let anything else happen.
He didn't want to let anything else happen.

Padmé marched up the Temple steps, the 501st following behind her. They met with little resistance, about what she had been expecting, if she was honest. The Force around her screamed in agony with the deaths of the Jedi off world, and yet it felt like nothing. She could hear it, but not feel it. That was concerning. It wasn't her concern. Perhaps it was the dark side protecting her from it all, but she couldn't be sure.
With the war, the temple was mostly empty, but regardless of that fact, each Jedi she met fell to her saber with a quick strike. They were focused on defense, if even that, but she didn't care, she just kept swinging. She heard the firing of blasters aimed at any knights and masters she didn't fell.
She needed to embrace the dark side. It didn't matter that, at one point, these people here had been friends, they were plotting to destroy the Republic. They were in the way of her protecting the people who really mattered. The only Jedi who still mattered to her was Obi-Wan, and he wasn't here. He was ending the war. (She tried not to think about the fact that Obi-Wan was likely dealing with whatever Sidious was doing. She couldn't think about that.)
By the time she was finished, there wouldn't be a single Jedi on Coruscant left.
If it saved her family, then that was what mattered most.

Obi-Wan had emerged from the surface of the water, still unsure of what had happened.
It had been fortunate he'd been above water when the shot had been fired, but it just didn't make sense. How could Cody of all people have ordered for the clones to fire on him? They'd been working together since the Clone Wars had started. He was Obi-Wan's most trusted commander, a good friend. And he'd fired on him.
Whatever the case was, he knew he wouldn't be finding the answers on Utapau. Even if this was a Separatist plot (and he wasn't entirely sure that it wasn't, he remembered Tup and Fives from Padmé's own unit) it didn't make sense why it only launched after Grievous was dead.
It also didn't explain the sudden emptiness in the Force. The Separatists may have been able to get to the 212th, but they never would have been able to cause what felt like that much destruction.
Or perhaps the lack of Jedi, the deadness and pain he felt, was unrelated to what had happened here.
No, he knew it wasn't.
He was getting lost in his own head again. Obi-Wan released his worries and fear of this to the Force for now. He could attempt to figure it out when he was somewhere safe, where the clones couldn't get him.
How ironic, he was hiding from his own men.
He climbed up, avoiding any scouting droids that may have passed by his location as he jumped into his Starfighter, heading for anywhere but here at the moment.
As soon as he was far enough away, he opened as many channels as possible, wanting to reach anybody who would be available. "Emergency Code 913. I have no contact on any frequency."
As he left the Utapau atmosphere, a blue figure appeared on the comm, staticky and hard to understand. "Repeat. You're unclear."
"General Kenobi." In front of him, much to Obi-Wan's relief, stood the figure of Senator Organa. While Obi-Wan was far from any politician's biggest fan (even Anakin, one of his closest friends, had that spot filled by Padmé, who he was trying not to think about as he wondered if this might have been a part of her visions, her nightmares, and whether or not she was possibly pregnant trying to survive this nightmare) he had to admit that Bail was one of the few he did actually like.
If nothing else, he was one of the few who were sympathetic to the Jedi, that counted for a lot right now. "Senator Organa. My clone troops turned on me. I need help."
"We have just rescued Master Yoda." That was at least a small bit of good news from the senator, that Yoda was alive, if nothing else. "It appears this ambush has happened everywhere."
Everywhere meant Padmé was in danger. Everywhere meant Ahsoka was in danger. Everywhere meant that every Jedi was in danger. It wasn't a good thought.
Before Obi-Wan could ask anything more, Bail spoke up again. "We're sending you our coordinates." And with that, he vanished, likely wanting to not say anything more on a line neither of them could verify was secure.
He looked at the coordinates Bail sent and took a deep breath.
It was time to go.

It had taken about an hour after the Jedi Temple had caught fire for Anakin to manage to get the babies to settle down. Luke and Leia were sleeping, and although it still felt like a darkness or void was permeating the Force around him, it hurt less. He could breathe again and not feel like the world was crashing down on him because things wouldn't stop hurting.
That, of course, did not mean that things were okay. While things in his apartment were no longer at meltdown level, Padmé still wasn't back yet, and that only meant bad things. Because the first thing she would have done had she been okay was come back to him. Because that was what they did. They made sure the other was alright no matter–
Before his thoughts could continue to spiral, Anakin heard the sound of a ship on his balcony. He ran outside to see Padmé, hardly looking more composed than she had before she'd run off.
"Padmé!" They ran to each other, and he held her. If it was up to him, he'd have never let her go either. She'd been in danger tonight. Real, tangible, danger, and there wasn't a thing he could have done about it. "What happened? Threepio said you went to the temple and there was a fire and I kept hearing that it was attacked…" He wasn't going to cry. Not now. Not when it was obvious she was still shaken too.
"I'm sorry I worried you." He tried to process Padmé's response. She was sorry she worried him? "I was...I had to go to the Temple, for the Chancellor."
"What?"
"The Jedi were plotting against the Republic." That was impossible. The Jedi had no interest in politics, and anybody who managed to spend five minutes talking to any of the council members could have confirmed that fact. Padmé, who was most definitely a Jedi if the past three years of secrecy meant anything to her, arguing that this was an attack on the Republic didn't make sense.
"Padmé, I don't…" He shook his head. "That's impossible, the Jedi wouldn't–"
"Mace was standing over the Chancellor, Anakin." She snapped at him briefly, and he remained silent, letting her continue. "He was going to try to kill him unless I stepped in and I…"
Padmé didn't say anything more, and he didn't need her to. While he doubted she'd had the full picture, she'd probably acted as best as she could.
Besides, she'd just watched her childhood home be destroyed by whoever was attacking the Temple. It was hard for Anakin to believe that Padmé was doing very well at all.
"Is that why the temple was attacked?" Anakin asked, trying to make sense of all this, and everything that happened. Padmé nodded. "Are you okay? Are you going to be attacked next?"
Perhaps this was her vision. He could get her and the twins off Coruscant now and then it wouldn't come to pass. They wouldn't end up on a lava planet.
"No." Padmé shot down his questions, which answered his theory quickly. "I'm...I'm standing with the Chancellor." She squeezed his hands. "The only person I'm more loyal to than him is you."
"And Obi-Wan? Ahsoka?" Anakin asked. She had to care about her master and closest friend. He had been here only a few days ago just to make sure that she was alright. (Had that really been a few days ago? Had things spiraled out of control that quickly?) And her Padawan...Ahsoka was practically her daughter, she couldn't just be okay with her death.
Padmé shook her head. "I...I don't even know if they're alive. But if they are, and both of them are loyal to the Republic as well, then I'd put my faith in Obi-wan and Ahsoka too."
It was a sobering thought. It also wouldn't be the first time that Obi-Wan had escaped death, or Ahsoka for that matter. Perhaps the two of them would be alright.
They stayed silent for a moment, Anakin attempting to hold Padmé together while not losing himself in grief for his friends who may have gotten hurt, or worse, in all this. Padmé spoke again. "The Chancellor gave me one more assignment. The Separatist leadership are all on Mustafar. I'm supposed to end this war."
Anakin looked up at her, startled. "So you came here?"
"You needed to know I was okay, and I needed to know that too." That her visions hadn't come true. "I needed to check on Luke and Leia."
If he was honest, he didn't feel okay. He felt tired and he was still terrified for Padmé's fate, even if the mission she was departing on wasn't hard. "We're holding up. I just got them to go to sleep. You can stay until they wake up, say goodbye to all of us, not just me." The offer wasn't just an offer. He had the worst feeling that if he didn't have her stay, then it wouldn't be good.
Padmé shook her head. "I can't. I have to complete my mission, and the sooner, the better."
"But Pad–"
"Anakin, I don't have time for this." She snapped at him again, causing Anakin to wince. "I'm sorry, Ani, but I have to do this."
She started returning to the ship. "Stay on Coruscant until I come back, please. Then, I can keep you safe."
There wasn't anything more he could do. He released Padmé, watching as she entered the ship she'd arrived in. "I love you, Angel."
"I love you too."
The ship left the balcony behind, taking Padmé off to Mustafar.
Anakin tried to ignore the fact that his wife felt so cold.

Okay so,, I kinda,,,, came up with a whole au in which Anakin and Padmé are t4t, cause I was mad at Star Wars again, dicking around in my friend’s DMs, and I joked they’d have a way better relationship if they were and it kinda,,, spiraled skdks. It just dredged up a lot of follow up questions about how that’d affect the continuity and now it’s my self indulgent Anakin/Padmé/Rex fixit. So uhhh… some notes I have about the t4t au!
• obviously, first off, Padmé is a trans woman and Anakin is a trans man
• Luke and Ahsoka are also trans in this au because I said so
• When Luke officially comes out as trans Padmé jokes that he gets it from Rex’s side of the family much to Anakin’s delight and Rex’s complete confusion
• I’m under no circumstances killing Fives in this au that shit hurt me, so in this one he’s frazzled by the discovery of Palpatine but Rex and Anakin actually listen when he calls them to that warehouse and when authorities arrive they claim he was shot and fell over the edge into the center of Coruscant when in reality they call in some favors to smuggle him away safely
• Because they discover the chips through Fives so early on, they’re able to start covertly de-chipping some of the clones (with a lil jedi assistance à la Anakin and Shaak Ti), they obviously don’t manage to remove the chips of all the clones but they get a fair chunk saving themselves a lOt of pain come Order 66
• Mmmm big fan of Rex’s stiff awkward phase when he first starts attempting non-professional relationships, he’s a bit better by the time he starts crushing on Anakin and even more so when he falls for Padmé but bOy howdy does it take him awhile to just fuckin relax around them
• Rex, consistently getting crushes on badass dudes: I think I’m gay
Padmé: Hello, commander :)
Rex: hahaha bi panic: activate
• Legit he’s so awkward and uncomfortable in casual contexts I love him for that
• So I think a few critical changes are what push Anakin away from the dark side in this au:
1) When Fives uncovers the conspiracy, though by this point Anakin is friends with Palpatine and has a hard time reconciling what Fives saw and the existence of the chips with who he’s come to know Palpatine as
2) His decent fucking support system because holy fUck how do you have a whole found family network and yet they stILL fail to actually support you the whole damn way?? Obi-Wan doesn’t tell him his emotionality is dark side stuff! The council doesn’t just tell him to repress shit! His relationship with Padmé gets actual fuckin development and is actually healthy in this au!! FffUck
3) The twins, cause duh. They obviously happen at the very end of the Clone Wars so Anakin getting pregnant is what leads up to his final loss of trust in Palpatine and his decision to stick up for himself and his family against what the council might potentially say.
• Ahsoka still leaves the Jedi Order in this au cause I think it’s just too pivotal an aspect of her character, and at first Anakin is angry and betrayed but eventually he comes to accept it was the best option for her and doesn’t resent her for her choice. Especially after finding out about the twins and realizing his family won’t be readily accepted by the Order even though both are incredibly important to him
• Ahsoka is the one who tells him it’s twins, I just think it’d be hilarious if Kix’s initial tests really early on didn’t reveal that so when Anakin got Obi-Wan and Ahsoka together to break the news Ahsoka sensed both the kids through the living force and just went “Oh my gosh you’re having twins!” Right before Anakin could say he was pregnant, and his brain just breaks cause like…. Twins?? Oh god, twins????
• In turn Padmé almost chokes on her tea and Rex nearly fuckin faints when Anakin has to tell them it’s twins, like they had jUst come to terms with one baby and now they know it’s gonna be two and they are going thrOugh it
• Really want Anakin to just,,, go off and get really anti-government at some point. Like the more he becomes aware of his garbage circumstances at the Order and working for the Republic, the more he starts to recognize his childhood experiences in the clones’ situation, and the angrier he gets at the systems in power that facilitated all this injustice. He’s just never been afforded the chance at being free, so once he starts asking questions, he starts seeing what’s behind the curtain real fuckin quick. Except this time he’s got the support system to channel that anger into productivity rather than letting it consume him.
• I’m a big fan of the Anakin Doesn’t Turn But The Empire Still Rises AUs so this one follows a similar continuity. After all, Anakin was just a particularly close pawn, Palpatine still had a million other ways to ensure he came out on top, so when everything breaks bad Anakin escapes with Padmé, the twins, and his battalion. And because they were alerted to Palpatine’s plans by Fives they had an extended escape plan with a handful of other battalions, including the 212th and the Wolf Pack. A lot of them help build up the rebellion or become involved with it later down the line, once the movement starts to gain more traction.
Will I do anything with this au? Who knows! Buts it’s certainly fun for me to think about and I’m always coming up with random new details, so we’ll just see where my spite and curiosity takes me with this one. At the very least I’ve already got some doodles I might post later

Ahsoka grumbled, tried to wake up and looked around the quarters. She had willingly given her little quarters to Rex, the clone had looked so tired and the constant chattering of Hardcase and Hevy didn't made it any better. Since the death of Echo, he had left his quarters and gone to sleep with his brothers. He had only one desk left and she wouldn't let him sleep at it! Now she was lying in the upper bunk, which the captain usually occupied, and looked around. Below her she could hear Jesse snoring softly, Hardcase and Kix were in the beds at her foot. Opposite were the bunks for Fives, Echo, Cutup and Hevy. A heavy blow went through her, Echo's bed would stay cold. But she had mourned, she had shed tears and sat with Fives for many hours and let him rest his head on her shoulder. Now she saw the remaining four men of the domino unit lying on a bed, all entwined and snoring softly.
She was glad, without the rest of his family it might have hurt Fives even worse to lose his closest brother. As it was, the chaos troop, as they now almost affectionately called them, had survived quite well and meanwhile continued to return to a kind of normal life.
She hopped quietly out of the bunk and slipped back into her clothes, she couldn't miss her shuttle. She hurried across the cruiser, trying to shove a bite of early breakfast into herself and at the same time to be calm inside. After half an hour, not only was her master waiting for her at the ship, Rex was there too. And next to him Hardcase, Jesse and Kix. How they were always on their feet so quickly was a mystery to her. "You can do this, I know it.", her master smiled and she grinned teasingly. "So no 'good luck'?", she asked and Skywalker grinned back. "No, you don't need that." With that he took a few steps back and Ahsoka smiled broadly at him again, before turning to the clones. "Commander.", said Rex and Ahsoka returned his gentle smile. Then a feeling of concern arose in her, like a presage. "I heard you all are leaving for Umbara today?", she asked softly and the men nodded. She looked at each one. "Be careful and watch out for the Dominos, will you?", she asked softly and something made her heart contract. "As always, vod'ika.", Hardcase grinned and she striked hands with him, his restless energy transferred to her and put a grin on her face. Jesse and Kix leaned against each other and nodded to her and she turned back to Rex. "Fives will be angry because you didn't wake him.", grinned the captain and she smirked, not only would Fives be full with rage, the others would also have wanted to wish her good luck... "Good luck, vod.", smiled Rex and Ahsoka knew attachments were forbidden. But she felt so connected with the clones, that had simply adopted her into the family. Just like she had adopted the chaos troop.

She knew it before she got on the cruiser. Something was different, very different. She had not yet been able to read any reports about Umbara, the successfull exam had required a few rituals and then Master Plo and the wolf pack had invited her to a flight over the city. To celebrate the day, so to speak. But now, her heart was pounding hard against her ribs and she gasped, something was terribly wrong! The shuttle landed and immediately she jumped out, the hatch not yet fully open. She looked around and the hangar was empty except for the clones on duty. Unusual for their troop, usually there were always clones somewhere, who just watched to pass the time. Her master was not there, but she could feel Master Kenobi and went to see him. She found him in one of the quarters, Cody was with him. They seemed to be having a deep conversation when she knocked and stepped through the already open door. Kenobi looked up and a tired smile appeared on his face. “Ahsoka, how nice to see you. I heard you passed?”, he asked and she nodded before taking a seat next to him and Cody at his signal. "What happened?", she asked immediately and shivered, pulling up her shoulders, all this gave her goose bumps and she could see how Cody's fingers tightened around the helmet on his knees. Kenobi smiled encouragingly at his commander, then turned to the padawan. “It's good that you're back. Anakin will probably stay away for a while and I hardly think, that my presence means the same to the men as yours." She was not deterred. "What happened?", she asked again.
 When she left the quarters with Cody, her head spun and the world turned slightly. The commander grabbed her shoulder carefully and held her upright. "Are you okay?", he asked and she nodded, pressing her fingers against her temples. "Krell is not that innocent.", she stated. The Jedi hadn't mentioned anything unusual, but it was obvious. She didn't knew of any clone who would aim his weapon at a Jedi. Especially not the young Dogma, she had seen only a few times before. "No, Rex told me.", Cody replied and she could hear the bitterness faintly. He hadn't been with the 501st or the battalion wich fought them, but they'd already got an overview of the fallen. Many had been very close to him, and in the end each of them had been his brother. She knew clones from both troops, her heart clenched as it had before they left. "Hardcase...", she mumbled, choked and slumped to the floor, her face buried in her hands. "I knew it!", she cursed with tears on her face and Cody stood there for a moment, before he shook her shoulders lightly. "We have to pull ourselves together, vod!" The word tore her from her convulsive crying fit and she immediately swallowed more tears. "Are you serious?", she asked softly, slightly startled, and she knew that Cody's eyes had always been warm. But what flowed through her now was the feeling of home. "Stand up."
 She crept quietly to the quarters and the door slid open silently. The sight was devastating. The domino unit had pulled into a corner and was together as she had left them. However, this time none of them slept. Five's eyes were still filled with the horror of Umbara, when he looked up at her. Kix and Jesse slept on another bed, looking pale and exhausted. The shadows under the eyes of all the clones scared Ahsoka and she put her bag down. The dull sound caught the attention of her younger brothers and she was about to say something, when Hevy stood up and threw his arms around her. Stunned, she grabbed the clone and hugged him tightly, he was shaking terribly and his fingers clawed into the fabric of her cloak. Carefully, she began to pat his back and as if she had flipped a small switch, the clone began to whimper helplessly. The sound didn't really matched Hevy in her head and she carefully navigated him back to the bed and pulled him between her and his brothers. Only now did she realize, that all the clones were shaking somehow. Hevy and Cutup literally shivered violently and Droidbait kept rubbing his arms too. When she looked closely at Fives, she could see his fingers trembling. Whatever had happened, he seemed in the best shape to tell her his side of the story.
She kept herself together for a long time and waited between the clones until everyone except Fives slept. Then she got up and walked over to Jesse and Kix, both winced when the commander's shadow fell on them and were immediately wide awake. "Don't!", Kix begged and flinched, Jesse already bared his teeth. Then they recognized the Togruta and both slumped. It hurted so much, to see them like that and she crawled over to them. She was welcomed into their midst and sat helpless for a moment. She hadn't had to comfort any of her brothers for a long time, she only hesitantly began to run her fingers over Jesse's head and use her fingertips to draw small patterns on Kix's neck. It calmed her when they both relaxed a bit and Jesse even fell back into a restless slumber. Kix stayed awake and clutched his brother's arm. Their heads rested on Ahsoka's upper stomach and she almost missed it, when Kix spoke softly. "I'm sorry...", he managed to whisper and suddenly Fives was with them and patted his brother's shoulder. "It's okay, not your fault.", he muttered and the calming phrases only faded away, when Kix had fallen asleep again. "How long hasn't he slept?", she asked softly, trying to remember how long they had been of Umbara now. “If you don't count the short minutes he was just out? Five days, maybe six.", Fives shrugged his shoulders and when Ahsoka raised her arms, he complied with her request and lifted her out of the bed of the other two clones, so she didn't had to climb over Kix and wake him again.
Together they left the room and Ahsoka looked closely at Fives, he avoided her gaze. For the first time since she knew him, he wasn't looking directly at her. "What happened? I already have information from Master Kenobi, but what happened really?”, she asked and Fives began to rattle the events of Umbara down, almost whispering. An hour passed, then two, then three. They sat in front of the quarters, leaned against the wall and the words just came out of Fives. At some point, he became quiet and when he looked at his commander again, he didn't knew how to react. They had all seen Ahsoka in different moments, and they knew her grief. Anger too. She had shown so much of it, after Echo was gone. But he had never seen such deep guilt in her eyes. Her face was pale and she was breathing heavily. "I suspected it.", she mumbled full of remorse and anger, she was so angry with herself. She should have stayed when the uneasy feeling arose! She could have replaced her master on the battlefield, or at least stopped Krell! But she hadn't stayed, because the Jedi had asked for her... Never again, she vowed to herself. She would never again leave her men alone, just because the Order called for her! She couldn't allow the men to be forced into such plans. Or that they suddenly had to point the guns at eachother!
Fives saw the fire suddenly flare up in her eyes and she got back on her feet, when would this girl break under all that pressure? How great could her will be? "Where's Rex?", she asked and Fives got up too. “In his quarters, working. Hardly eats, does not sleep. Threw out Kix and all the other medics, won't let any of us in. Cody tried it too, I tried it.", Fives muttered, since the death of Echo he and Rex had been much closer than before. Because he suspected, that Rex was just as clinging to every little bit of his family as he was. "He even locked out the general.", he stated soberly and Ahsoka paused, that wasn not like the Rex she knew. "Then let's go."
 They met Cody in front of the clone's quarters, he was pounding on the door. He yelled at his brother in mando’a, Ahsoka heard a few heated insults and hurried over. Soothingly, she put a hand on the clone's arm and he paused. "You are here.", he sighed in relief and part of the tension left his body, seemed to pass into the young Jedi and she straightened her back. “I'm going in there, Cody. Whether he wants it or not!", she promised and watched as Fives and Cody nodded worriedly. She felt the looks of the two men, as she knocked carefully on the door. “Rex, it's me. Open the door, please.", she said just loud enough and waited a few seconds, nothing moved and it reminded her bitterly of the day, when she locked herself inside her quarters. "I'm coming in now.", she just said and checked the keypad, locked. Without further ado, she began short-circuiting it; she would be able to repair the damage later. She had learned a lot from Master Skywalker, after a few seconds the door slid open about halfway and the light from the hallway fell into the dim quarters. Fives and Cody hesitated, seeing their brother sitting at the desk. It was as if he hadn't heard her at all. Determined, Ahsoka slipped through the crack, congratulated himself in silence on still being so small and thin, and calmly approached the clone.
"Rex?", she asked quietly, no response. On the table was a half-drunk cup of coffee, cold. "Rex.", she said a little louder and put a hand on his shoulder. She had expected a lot, just not his new reflexes. In a flash he had looked up, freed himself and her hands firmly in his grip. She saw Fives and Cody squeezing through the door and shook her head, not wanting to hurt Rex any more. "Rex, let go.", she requested gently, the captain shook his head, as if he was trying to dispel a nightmare. “Rexter, it's me. Ahsoka.", she tried, now hopefully and the grip loosened. She carefully grabbed his face and stopped his headshaking, he looked terrible. Even in this little light, his skin seemed pale and his face strangely sunken. He was shaking, not as badly as Heavy, but more than Fives. She looked at the other clones. "Help me.", she mumbled, Rex seemed to have lost all tension in his body and the whole armor was surprisingly heavy. She was sure, she hadn't minded it so much otherdays. Carefully, Cody and Fives grabbed their brother and, with Ahsoka's help, dragged him onto the long unused bed. She still held his face gently as he sat. “Cody, Fives. Can you find something to eat? I am sure there is a tart from Master Plo in my bag somewhere.  Ahsoka was very patient. It took a long time before Cody and Fives came back. She patted the captain's cheek again and again and he seemed to reappear a bit, at some point he actually looked at her and she could have cried of joy to see the recognition in his eyes. "Ahsoka, you've come back.", he muttered and she gave him a desperate smile. "But of course, why shouldn't I come back?", she whispered and her brother broke in her hands. He didn't cry tears, but the sobs still shook his whole body. He hastily wrapped his arms around the girl and Ahsoka returned the hug, wiggling up to him on the bed. At some point he began to mumble, choked and softly, but there. "Vod’ika, I couldn't ... I should have..." Carefully, she ran her fingers over his head, similar to Jesse's before. You are my brother and I will not let you go down like this!“, she growled, in Rex's eyes she saw a certain clarity for the first time that evening. He stared into her angry face and suddenly, the tears came. "I love you, vod'ika." he muttered, and she let him bury his face in her shoulder. "Me too, Rexter.", she muttered, rocking them both back and forth until Cody and Fives came back.

And, without exception, all of the clones jumped away ,as she made her way to the bridge. With eyes sparkling with anger, she went to her Master and Rex, who was standing upright on his own for the first time since she had come back. Of course, he immediately got back to work, as if it would help dispel the horror faster. Skywalker had asked about Rex's health, but accepted the quick and easy answer. As if he didn't knew his captain's self-destructive drive. "You and you!", Ahsoka hissed and pointed to the two men. "How dare you? Rex, get out of here. Now!” Her brother looked at her for a few seconds through his helmet. "That's an order!", she barked again and finally, he obeyed and got out of the way. “Master, have you even looked at the men? No one is able to fight at the moment, most have only slept a few hours in the past few days! It's irresponsible to…” Master Skywalker immediately interrupted her. "There is a war, Ahsoka.", he said quietly, making her even more annoyed. “And these are people, not machines! You can't send them back into battle so soon, after all this, there are hardly any men left anyway! Have you even read a report about Umbara, just a single one? ", she snapped and the clones on deck ducked their heads, never before had anyone heard the commander roar like that. Not to talk about that being that up close. Now, Anakin Skywalker got angry too, they shouted at each other for a few minutes, until Ahsoka suddenly became calm and collected herself. For a moment, her master thought he had won. “As Commander, I refuse to pass the order on to the Captain! These clones won't move out.”, she hissed and disappeared again.
 She looked up at her master, she really did! But she got an uneasy feeling, as she trudged angrily down the hallways. She passed a couple of open quarters and whenever she looked inside she saw men, broken men! How could her Skyguy miss that? She stopped at a door, the clone was sitting alone in a corner pulling his hair. Unlike most clones, they were long enough for that. "Soldier?", she asked quietly and entered the room, the agitated mood hit her and almost made her stumble. And there was only one man in this room!
"Are you okay?", she asked again and crouched down in front of the clone. He looked up and the corner of his mouth twitched. "What do you want from me?", he asked quietly and Ahsoka offered her hand, she didn't wanted the man to be afraid of her. "Ahsoka Tano.", she introduced herself and with a tired handshake he also introduced himself. "Tup.", he mumbled softly and she smiled. "Can I help, Tup?", she asked just as quietly as before and slid into a cross-legged seat in front of his bunk, preparing for a long conversation.
In the end, she had a real hatred for her master. And her anger came at Fives too, a bit milder though than at Skywalker. "Oh you!", she growled and was tempted, to slap his face, before simply wrapping her arms around him. He was confused. "What did I do?", he asked worried and felt her shiver briefly. “Never hide anything from me again! Especially not, if only your big mouth saved you!” Jesse didn’t escape her either, but he caught a hefty push from her at breakfast. She was sorry, he winced violently. But when she began to talk her anger out, his face lit up and Ahsoka decided to stick with the loud scolding. From that day on, she always forgot the formalities when she could no longer hold back her deepest worries.

Of course they all got on good terms again, she loved her master so much and yet, he was sometimes blind to the people in front of him. They had invaded the slave empire and although none of them got away without a trace, they digested it faster than other missions. Then came the day, when Rex tried desperately to keep two mad commanders under control, he only managed to keep Cody in place. Finally, his brother could still be dealt with reasonably and in the end Cody admitted quietly, that his men needed him after all. And that, because of that, he couldn't go on a breakneck quest for revenge, even if every fiber of his loyalty cried out to take the enemy apart like all the droids every day. He was forced to be content with just the idea of ​​tearing the shooter's head off with his bare hands. Ahsoka was not, Rex had tried to appeal to her sanity over his own anger, but was he powerless. She was already hard to hold back and General Skywalker supported the whole thing. It took weeks for them, to completely leave this thing behind. Ahsoka noted one evening, that she felt that her Master would never quite take it. Rex didn't say anything.

"Hey, Rex." Ahsoka muttered and entered the tent. She had refused to leave, before the camp was up and the first wave pushed back. Rex was sitting at his makeshift desk, even here he still had paperwork and she didn't wanted to know, how looked at Codys. "I have to go.", she admitted as the captain looked up at her, guilt welling up inside her. She had promised, not to leave the men alone under any circumstances. Never! And certainly not because of the people, whose call she now obeyed. Because she was a Jedi and those, who raised her and took her in, needed her. She had a good feeling about this battle. But when she thought of the temple, her stomach knotted and it was difficult for her to breathe, something was waiting for her there and it would not be nice.
Rex got up and walked over to her, looked at her, then grabbed her hand. He squeezed it hard enough to show, that they were going to fight, but gently enough to ease her guilt. “Don't worry, we'll be fine. Hevy found the flamethrower.", he joked, but his eyes looked tired at the thought. She giggled and squeezed his hand back. "Then let the stuff wander on my table, I'll deal with it.“

Things never ended up on her desk, even though Hevy nearly burned the camp down. Jesse made no move to help, he laughed his ass off. It was thanks to the quick reflexes of Droidbait, that only one tent entrance was slightly charred. Kix almost had a nervous breakdown and Fives, as always, didn't made it any better.
Rex wished, he could have told her. But he sat here, like all the other clones, staring at the transmission. Fives and Wolffe, who, to the surprise of many, could handle cables better than many others, had managed to crack one of the cameras and share the signal with them. Many sat in the room, huddled together waiting for the inevitable.

Ahsoka stared at Barriss, who looked away. Everything rushed past her, in something near to a trance, she was escorted back to the temple and she just let everything go on around her. She felt so betrayed, so utterly lonely. Her brothers hadn't taken part in the hunt, but Wolffe had. Of course, he had no choice, but she no longer knew whether he would give her another brotherly tip after the blow she had given him. She stared sideways at Plo Koon, and the stinging in her chest got worse. Next to him was Obi Wan Kenobi, she felt sick. None of the great Jedi Masters had believed her, no one had stood by her side! She looked ahead, her master walked half a step in front of her and kept looking over his shoulder, as if he were looking to see if she was still there. She was so grateful, but she was still hurt. He hadn't tried to save her from the start, only when she tried to save herself. Perhaps his strength was, that he put himself first. Not the Jedi, not Ahsoka, not even Obi Wan. Oh, she didn't doubt that he would have thrown himself between her and a tank anytime, if he had to. Nor did she doubt his affection, which rolled towards her in waves through the Force. But she doubted whether she could rely on him unconditionally. Whether she could still rely on anyone ...
 All of these thoughts got worse and louder when she turned her back on the temple. Had any of the Jedi ever thought anything good of her, ever? Or did she not matter, as it was with a lot of things for the Jedi? She didn't knew, where her feet were taking her, until she stood in front of the barracks and heard the loud celebrations from one of the buildings. What did they have to celebrate on this black day? She would have liked to be there, but she was afraid that Wolffe would point the blaster at her again when she stood in front of him. She took her time, in the Force she slipped along every single one in the room and bathed a little in the laughter and singing, her mind seemed to vibrate with awe as the Mandalorian songs sounded from so many throats at the same time. Then, she was done.
 Rex looked up and paused, before letting his gaze wander. Cody looked around too, he seemed to be looking for something and Cutup was so confused, that he even set the bottle down to look around. Fives put a hand on his shoulder from behind, Wolffe was with him. "Was that her?", he mumbled softly. Rex knew, what he meant, what his little chaos troop and the two commanders had felt. As if someone had sneaked around them, unseen and unheard. He knew this feeling, as if a voice without a sound sneaked into his head and listened to him a little, before it disappeared again. He got up and looked around again. "She has to be outside.", he replied to Fives. "Wait here and keep your eyes open, who knows what she has planned.", he tried to grin, but his feeling told him that none of her pranks would follow.
Carefully he pushed himself out of the crowd and out the door, the cooling evening air hit him and the sun had just disappeared behind the horizon. He looked around searching, and almost missed her receding figure. "Wait!", he called and hurried in her direction, she stopped. But she didn't look up when he caught up to her. "Where are you going? Come with me and join us.", he suggested, the thought that she had tricked certain death was energyzing and he wanted to share this feeling with her. But she shook her head in a small motion, didn't look up. He became more careful. “How about a bit of sleep then? Your bunk is made.", he offered more calmly, but she just shook her head again. This time, it shook her body with it. "I'm sure everyone would love to see you, Commander." As soon as the word had escaped his lips, she looked up. She was crying, it had been a while since he'd seen her shed tears.
He was confused, why was she crying? Every bit of joy in him turned to worry and he reached out to her, without actually touching her. "What happened, vod'ika?" She sniffed and wiped her face. “Go back to your men. The party sounds great.", she said simply and he furrowed his eyebrows. Something went wery wrong here, but what exactly? "Ahsoka, talk to me.", he insisted and she shuddered again. She looked down at the floor again, as if there was an appropriate answer. "I'll go.", she mumbled, barely audible, and for a moment he thought, it might be a mistake. But she said nothing more, looked down and shivered. "The council still excluded you?", he asked, she shook her head. Suddenly the pieces fell into place and despair overcame him. "Stay, please.", he muttered and this time, his hand actually landed on her shoulder. She looked at him, he could see how betrayed she really felt. "If not for the Jedi, then for the boys.", he muttered and could watch her eyes grow cold.
"None of these men owe me their loyalty, who guarantees me that one of them won't hold a grudge against me and make a short end to it?", she growled, her voice strengthened by the anger and panic. She was afraid of going back to normal after all of this. But even more afraid, she was of being alone against the world. "Who can I trust, if I don't trust myself?", she asked softly and the tears ran down again, she was angry about it. All day long she had swallowed this knot in her throat and now, in front of Rex of all places, she lost this fight too. She didn't wanted him to look at her pityingly. She didn't wanted, to show any weakness. But then she saw the captain's gaze harden too. “We trust you, always had! If you really want to be alone, then my brothers will not stop you.” Then he relaxed a bit and for the first time, Ahsoka was afraid of what he might say. "But if you still want us with you, we will find a way." She said nothing, she would not crawl in front of the council again and bow down to the will of others. She was terrified. “Please don't go away. We will find a way to handle things without the Council. Become a general, go your way. We would follow you.“, the clone muttered and his eyes showed his fear of being left alone. She shivered again and then she broke down, after all these years she just broke.
How could she not trust her brothers? With tears on her face and a lump in her throat, her knees gave way and she sagged to the floor. She buried her face in her hands, she already knew what she was going to do. She couldn't do without them, not again. They shouldn't have to doubt her, she always trusted them with everything she had. Hands grabbed her and pulled her into a tight hug. "I'm scared.", she choked out and was ashamed. But Rex didn't blame her, either for her fear of the Council or of losing her family. Leaning his chin on her head, he just rocked her back and forth and let her cry. "I know, vod'ika. I know."
