i rally

yesterday was a day for women march jakarta on 2023

i’ve been wanting for so long to be in the middle of the angst crowds, even for the first time rally, i was dying. but i was so afraid to face the difference political stance, and my friends were guilt trap us too.

as a muslim, to be close with LGBTQ issues were like committing to big sin. though, muslim activist and LBGTQ activist were actually an ally somewhere outside of Indonesia, knowing that these two groups were marginalized more than ever.

but here i go, knowing that i could be in the same medium for them. fuck it, i’m an ally. if there’s someone out there gonna talk on me about this, fuck ‘em.

i’m rally. i’m mad as woman. i faced the issue. my body being controlled and I AM MAD. so i rally. i need a safe space in the society. fuck that.
