Author Curry x Reader

Plot: In the middle of Justice League, You are Bruce’s sister and Bruce kept douting you and you show him your dark side.

You tried to help the team to think of ways to stop Steppenwolf but it ended up getting into an argument with Bruce.

"I can help Bruce, you just don't trust me that I would." You say trying to stay calm so your powers will shot out and everyone will know.

"No way, I don't want you to be there. I don't want to babysit." He says.

You started to get angry. "I'm not a child anymore. Come on Bruce."

"Really, cause the last time I let you came out with me, you almost got killed, you were slowing us down and we. don't. need. you." When he finishes you finally snap.

Your eyes turned from (e/c) to bright red and you started to get bright red marks on your skin. You lifted your hands towards Bruce and burning chains come up from the ground and they grabbed Bruce's ankles and wrist and brought him up in the air. The others tried to stop you but more burning chains came and stopped them. You bring him down towards you and the look on his face was shock and terror.

"You think I'm useless now." He doesn't say anything but look at you.

You then snap out of it and let the burning chains go and you turned back to normal. Bruce dropped to the floor and looked up at you. You then looked to the others and they looked equally frightened.

You stepped back before running out of the room. You ran to your room in the mansion and shut the door. You slid down the door and brought your knees up to your chest.

~couple hours later~

You were still sitting there, by the door, in a little ball, crying. You then heard a knock on the door.

"Go away” you weakly say.

There was silence before they knocked again. You sigh as you get up to see who it was. You opened the door to see Arthur standing there, in normal clothes.

"Hi." He says with no facial expression.

"Hi," You say the same way.

"Can I come in?" He asks.

You hesitate before opening the door for him. He walks I'm and looks around your room. You sit on the bed and just watch him.

"What do you want?" You finally ask. He turns to you.

"I wanted to see if you were alright." He says.

You look surprised at him. "Why? I almost killed Bruce and I probably would have tried to kill the rest of you." You say and you look down to the floor.

You then see black boots come into your view and then knees as he bends down and lifts your head so he can see your face.

"But you didn't. Plus I'm pretty sure Bruce isn't going to be bugging you for a while." He says while you smile.

"Thanks, Arthur." You say. He smiles.

"Your welcome sweetheart."

Hey. Hey Guys. Do you know what’s pointless? Shipping Wars.

Especially in big comic books franchises such as DC or Marvel.

Seriously, shipping wars are just crazy in general and shouldn’t happen. Asking everyone to ship your ship is like asking everyone to have the same favorite food. IT’S NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.What you think is gross someone else thinks is wonderful. Everyone will think things differently.

But since people seem to have to have a reason not to start a shipping war (LONG SIGH) here’s one for comic couples.

Okay, just hear me out. (Long post warning). So lately I’ve been getting back into the Teen titans Franchise by watching some of the new movies and old TV shows. After watching Judas Contract and Teen Titans vs Justice League i became a huge Damirae shipper. (Or demonbirds).

And i thought at one point ‘these two have so much potential and are so great together! I wish they were a couple in the TV show, it would have been so awesome!’

Then I thought, ‘Uh, no it wouldn’t have. Damien didn’t exist in the tv show. She’s with beast boy in the TV show because, for one thing, he actually exists in the show.’

Are you following me?

No? Okay, here’s another example.

When i was little I always assumed rogue and ice-man were a couple in everything because of the movies. But when I watched x-men evolution I loved Rogue and Gambit. Not only that, but Rogue is with a bunch of people in different media’s. Gambit, Cody, ice-man, magneto...

Do you get it now?

Its because the wonderful creators of comic books have blessed us readers with the ultimate solution to every shipping war or argument for one in the world!

ALTERNATE UNIVERSE’S.

(Ya ya, cheers in the back ground, yahhhhh).

Let me explain.

Comic story lines have been re-made and restarted so many times. There are probably hundreds of ‘first stories’ to X-men or as we all know, way to many spider man movies. And in these stories the story often changes. New characters, new worlds and...new couples.

So when someone says ‘this couple is canon and this one isn’t,’ that’s not always true in comics. Because in different worlds there are different couples.

Welcome to canon heaven everybody!

So many ships are cannon! No ship is ‘better’ than another because since there are so many different worlds one could be cannon in one and not cannon in another. There is no ‘better’ when there are so many different versions!

If you don’t like one ship then there are so many ways to just get fuel for another in a different story!

Don’t like the fact that Natasha was romantic with Bruce in Avengers 2? That’s fine, go find yourself some BuckyNat in the comics!

Not a fan of Superman and Wonderwomen in the new comics? Alright, go to justice league where wonder women’s shipped with batman or old superman shows that have him with Louis.

Heck, we all know Batman’s dated a ton of people.

Seriously, there are lists about how many kids Wolverine has with different women in different universe’s.

Guys, we can all chill! Everyone can be happy with there ships because there are so many versions and they are all great!.

And for the argument ‘oh, but this ship is so much better than this other one’ doesn’t work in this line. Because maybe it is in one comic, but in say a TV show it may not be. They are both cannon and they could both be equally good, just not in the same version.

Heck, even the non-canon ships don’t need to fret! in a few years there may be a reboot that your couple could become canon! Who knows?

Feel free to add opinions or arguments for different franchises on the end. I’m pretty sure i forgot half of what i was going to say anyway. But in general i think a majority of us at least can agree on one thing.

SHIPPING WARS ARE STUPID.
