Hi! On AO3, what do you think is the best way to figure out "best" fics that the most people like? Is it the ratio of high kudos to lower hits? I'm afraid that just sorting by kudos or comments will miss some popular shorter fics.

I do like the kudos-to-hits ratio as an alternative to pure kudos or hits alone (especially to capture good one shots or multi-chapter stories that went up fast or during an especially busy update time).
